Staff was amazing!
Even thought they changed my room to it’s smelling like a damp towel very much. I like mildew change red to another room. It was a nice room nicer room. She always say but it still had that lingering smell. Its unfortunate because i loved that hotel before,i stayed there over 10years ago and it unfortunately needs serious maintenance, and the beds are hard as nails.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Taipei. The room was comfortable and the staff extremely helpful. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. I would always recommend this hotel to everyone and would certainly choose this hotel for any future visits to Taipei.

Swimming pool is summer opening only so we found in early nov in 30 degree heat. Pool is closed. The restaurants featured on the website only some of them are open. The bar is small they have a terrace but its closed for winter despite 30 degree temperatures. We wouldn't recommend as you are paying premium prices for room only hotel doesn't offer the facilties
The room keys had to be brought to reception every day of our stay to get them to work, which we found irritating.

Do not trust its red brick facet that seems a bit too old, the room is very clean and well-maintained. The service was just right and heart warming. There is a 2024 Michelin steak house inside the hotel, which I highly recommend, 15% off for hotel guests.

As a customer for years, I still want to rate this hotel a high mark. Hotel’s recent renovation uplift the rooms from traditional to modern classic. Along with much better services. Garage staff, door attendant, front desk personal and room services are all excellent.
Hotel’s location is perfect for food lovers. Couple Michelin ranked restaurants are steps away. One restaurant in the hotel got Michelin ranking. Room service items are good quality and very reasonable. Nearby malls has food court. Hotel’s breakfast is very good.

A must repeat!!

I had a 2 week trip in Taipei and stayed in 1 x 3 star, 2 x 4 star and a 1 x 5 star hotel. Overall, Grand Victoria had the best service and I believe value for money. Front desk was polite and courteous. They really go out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. I had to ask to use the business center for printing documents and needed cardboard boxes for transporting, both demands were met with exceptional speed and great service. I am very satisfied with my stay, despite it located near a shopping mall and the skytrain, the room was quiet and clean. On site restaurants provide a fine selection and quality meets 5 star standards. I would recommend the hotels.com option of including the breakfast, much cheaper than buying directly from the hotel.

It was centrally located to both shopping belt that has wide choice of eateries, as well as located near the MRT Jiannan station.

Best part is that it is just 15 minutes walk to Meiti Riverside park to enjoy my evening walks

A while back we went to the Victoria specifically for my daughter to swim all day and had a phenomenal experience, however didn't upgrade for the breakfast. This time in a whim, weather was good and we had a day to burn in April, so we booked on Hotels.com and upgraded for the breakfast. And we found out afterwards that although we had three people that it only included two people's breakfast. It wasn't a huge deal but we figured we'd ask. One of the staff basically explained that it's common sense that the third person pays extra, a nine year old kid. We figured we'd pay and probably never go back but when we checked out, a staff with higher authority made the call and comped it saying next time we need to pay but this time it was on them. Being in the service biz as well I would have done the same thing and I think they made the right move. So yes we will go and try again but the pool was closed so, call ahead if you wanna use the pool. It was pretty rough when my little girl was all pumped and in her swimsuit and ready to go but wasn't able to swim. Granted I should have called ahead. Anyways call ahead if you are gonna swim.

Have stayed here numerous time for work and it's always a pleasant stay. Close to Miramar and Carrefour. Comes with selected complimentary minibar item which is rare for hotels. Prices can fluctuate but still worth the price for the value. Front desk service is excellent

Indifferent check in, no idea about the amenities of the hotel. Pool is closed from 12-4.
Room ok but did not feel the Executive vibe.

Bed was comfortable.

Much of the lobby seemed to be for wedding guests and meeting attendees only.

Two problems during my visit:

For whatever reason, the room was cleaned at 5 pm almost exactly when I was returning from a long day in the heat and humidity. It would seem possible to clean the rooms where continuing occupants are located a bit earlier in the day.

I had hoped to have dinner in the Chinese restaurant on Sunday evening. I did not make a reservation, but in coming to the restaurant I was told it was fully booked - .i.e., no place for a single customer.

The front desk staff were good and very helpful. Not sure I would recommend the hotel given its location quite a ways from the centre of Taipei. Nice hotel, however. Sorry I cannot be more positive.

Beautif boutique hotel, great location

I booked this hotel to be closer to the National Palace Museum and I'm so glad I did. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and come with complimentary snacks. it's located across from the big Farris wheel and a shopping mall.The grounds are beautiful. There were several weddings going on when I was there.

service can be improved. They didn't allow me to check in at 2 pm. No any service provided when I was sitting at lobby waiting. At least they can offer a glass of drink in that such a hot day, or present a local map for me as past time option. Concierge wanted to propose us a dining place, but we found out later that he knows little about the restaurants nearby.
Anyhow, the room is fabulous. i liked the Japanese style toilet pan very much. nice view from my room with the swimming pool and mountain view. By the way, the food court at the nearby shopping mall is very nice. Plenty of choices at great quality.

Great location, beautiful hotel

I stayed here for 2 nights and it was awesome. It is 5min from the metro, great location to go Taipei 101, Sun Yat Seng Memorial, etc.

Room itself was clean and modernly designed. Although the hotel was undergoing some renovation, there was not much noise. The staff were friendly too.

The drainage of bathroom is blocked and automatic seat cover is non- stop opened and closed by itself whole day! The housekeeper only helped me clean the flooding floor and did not fix the problem! So the next day It still has the same flooding! They like to hire western people as bellboy as image but did not improve the overall customer service!

Gigantic Bathroom

Very impressed with the minibar amenities and the massive hotel bathroom. The BOSE bluetooth stereo and the Nespresso machine was pretty luxurious too. Would definitely return for another trip.

Good Location if your business is in Neihu

During the week this hotel is great. The location is ideal if you are doing business in the Neihu District of Taipei. The morning breakfast buffet is very good with more Western than Asia choices. Only a minor complaint on the weekends. The hotel is extremely busy with weddings and the hundreds of guests that attend. The result is difficulty getting the lift going up. No problem if you are going down to the parking garage. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I will stay again.

good boutique hotel, but location maybe a problem.

Generally the hotel is good, staff are helpful and eager to please. Can use computer room for free, but internet connections posed a challenge. But staff happy to spend time to correct the problem when so requested. Hotel is good condition, clean and room comfortable. However because it is located across the river from the city centre, it may not be convenient for some travellers. It usually took at least 1 or 2 connections on the subway to go to the more popular tourist attractions. The greatest problem as we see it, is that it is right across from a huge shopping entertainment centre which pumped out incredibly loud sound from its outdoor stage every night. It maybe because it was the holiday season, but it shows that noise polutions is not a priority to the local government. Otherwise good hotel that is reasonably priced.

We really enjoyed the warm welcome at the reception and the cozy, quiet atmosphere during breakfast. It seems the hotel mainly caters to business travelers, so we hardly saw any families with children — which made the environment even more peaceful.

The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared; nothing felt mass-produced. You could clearly tell the food was made with care and attention to detail.

We also loved the bed and pillows. They weren’t overly soft, providing just the right support for our backs and giving us a truly restful night’s sleep.
