We stayed at Grand Mayfull last Nov and liked it a lot so we come back again in March. However , we are disappointed this time . We were given a room which is smaller than last time ( although we booked same room type and according to Expedia, the room size should not vary) There is no view from our room . We can hear occasional car roaring ( i.e. parking lot noise across the street at night) so I would not consider the room is quiet.

This was a great experience. The room was clean and had a feeling of luxury. The fridge was stocked with refreshments and the room even had fresh fruit. The spa was fantastic. The breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet were hard to leave behind after my stay. The staff was extremely helpful catching and directing taxis. Also, this hotel was the quietest hotel I have stayed in. It was busy, so I do not know if the guests are courteous or the walls were thick. The bed was softer than expected in Asia, so this was great as an American traveler. My wife and I slept so well. Compliments also to the cleaning staff. Great job making us feel cared for.

If you like a beautifully decorated luxury hotel with professional staff, this is it. The lobby at night is impressive. The room was clean, excellent breakfast and free minibar included. The restaurant, Mipon is Michelin rated. It is best if you have a car. Parking is available.

The resort was so clean and beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. So luxurious, comfortable beds, gorgeous room, delicious breakfast. The hotel staff was amazing. The only feedback I would give is to change the breakfast buffet items daily for guests who are dining daily and also to have more vegetarian options. We felt very much at home at the Grand Mayfull! Would return!

Really enjoy the sauna room, cold plunge, and outdoor swimming pool. Had dinner at Mipon and it is excellent and priced right. Love the room since it is so spacious and has a little bit of Japanese influence as well. Will definitely come back.

Perfect stay at the Grand Mayfull

My stay at the Grand Mayfull Hotel was fantastic. Apart from the not-so-great location, everything else was perfect. Getting around was not challenging, as there are two train stations within a 15-minute walk, and at least one bus station within a 5-minute walk. The breakfast was also great. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

I truly enjoyed my stay in the Grand Mayfull Hotel Taipei. Stayed in a room in 8th floor for 3 nights.

Hotel facilities and amenities are all of excellent quality and thoughtful for guests. Room is fitted with an unusually generous walk-in wardrobe, a delightful surprise for a female traveller like me. Bathroom is also very spacious, high ceilings and built with solid materials.

Mattress is hard enough to my liking and pillows are comfortably soft. My back didn't play up that says something.

All staff I've come across are super polite and helpful, from front desk staff, concierge, doorman to breakfast restaurant staff and cleaning lady.

I pre-booked a pickup from local metro station when I arrive. Driver turned up right on time and is very friendly. He also kindly arranged for me a drop-off to the metro station for my next journey to Taichung. It went smoothly.

Breakfast are fresh. Not overly spoiled with choices but foods are of good quality just like everything else. Beef noodle is delicious. The mochi cheese tart I had on Monday was a die-for. It was a pity that they only served it once during my stay.

The hotel is situated at North side, slightly off city fringe. Not far from the Gu Gong National Museum.

Grand Mayfull Hotel has certainly made its way to my top 3 \"return hotels\" list for future stays in Taipei.

Already are planning for my next visit!

Staff was nice and friendly. Room was very spacious. It's a Japanese style hotel with an awesome Onsen. Men and women are separate. Only issue was they required a swimming cap to enter and use the pool. Considering we only wanted to lounge around and dip only, not swim, we decided to pass on purchasing a cap.

Hotel itself is not convenient to the central parts of Taipei so we took a lot of taxis. But the area is very quiet and nice.

The location is nice and quiet. The hotel’s breakfast and seafood buffets are excellent.
My only complaint is that the Michelin star restaurant Meipon was a big disappointment. We have been to multiple Michelin restaurants around the world and I must say that this was the worst one ever. We had to ask for linen napkins; the ambiance was lacking; it was noisy; the menu was boring and the food was a big disappointment. Everything about the restaurant did not align to the essence of a Michelin Star restaurant. It was very confusing.

Solidly good hotel

The hotel was overall a good stay as it is really cruising uncomfortable with good services provided. Only downside is that it is a little far from where most things are located in terms of vacation activity such as shops and eateries.

We were given some sparkling wine because of Expedia which wasn’t helpful because we don’t drink - and I think the hotel should replace this with another benefit for those who don’t drink. Hotel offered a free cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday which was great. We were given an upgrade to a nicer room. The room is spacious and comfortable. Balcony with a good swimming pool view and drapes which open and close automatically. Bathroom spacious and nice. Good amenities but would recommend including creamer or milk for those who like a latte as a coffee. Big bed. Quiet room. Staff are efficient and room service is good. Location may not be the best as it’s a bit far away. Overall though, a nice place to relax especially if you’ll be in the room more.

I forgot to mention about my VIP status which I think that’s the reason why I did not get a room upgrade and the sparkling wine. Therefore it’s not the hotel’s fault. My wife and I love the hotel and overall I give them a 10 out of 10 across the board.

The location is a little far away from the public transportation system, may have to take taxi.
The breakfast is good but the timing limit is not very considerate. Other hotels still let you finish your eating even after the 10:00am required deadline but this hotel wants you to leave/ finish by 10:00.

The best hotel in its price range in Taipei. I’ve stayed 4 or 5 different 5-star hotels in Taipei and Grand Mayfull is the best in my opinion. Even Mayfull’s “standard” room is so spacious and the size is equivalent to some “upgraded” rooms in other hotels. Gym has all upgraded equipments and sauna is the best I’ve seen in Taipei. I also tried the 2 restaurants on the 2nd floor - the Taiwanese restaurant is highly recommended and the Japanese one is good. Breakfast and dinner buffet is also good but I’m a street food guy and I prefer eating outside. The only downside of this hotel is that you may not be able to get a taxi or Uber during the rush hours in week days, because the traffic is terrible. That said, the subway station is just 5-10 minutes walking distance.
