A quite new and modern hotel, but we wished the rooms were larger. They were cramped for 2 people and impossible to maneuver in or even store your luggage. Also the bathroom was tight and what made things worse is that the tub was recessed into a deep half wall, that required a foot stool to get in and out. Not only is it dangerous and unsafe, but I'm such a tight space just complicated things.
Not sure we could stay here again in the future because of this.

While the CityInnPlus is a decent hotel, the value is simply not there. The room rate for 1 night was very expensive, and my expectations were that there would be nicer amenities, bigger beds, restaurants, etc. I booked a room with two beds, which were twins….very small for an adult. The room smelled musty, and even by adding an air purifier which the front desk provided after I complained, it did not really do much. I am not saying this is a bad hotel at all….my issue was that the cost/value was completely not there for me. The price was what I would pay at a 4 star property, but this is more like a 2 star hotel.

She helped us with calling taxi, provides excellent dinning recommendations in the area. 2nd floor lounge area has large space to enjoy breakfast or snacks while wait for laundry. Having a functional and 24 hour laundry facility is very helpful for guests who travels with their families.

Booked 1 night to join the countdown party at Taipei 101. Hotel check in and check out was smooth, room was in good condition, nothing to complain about. Snacks and coffee/tea at the lounge is a bonus as it was late afternoon when we checked in and we hadn't have our lunch. On the same night hotel also prepared snacks, hot food, cup noodles, drinks as a small gesture for NY countdown. Walking distance to Brown line and bus stop from hotel, we even walked back from Taipei 101 after countdown as MRT was crowded, yes it is walkable, about 55 mins.

Its location is perfect for someone doesn’t own a car. There is a decent grocery nearby. A variety of restaurants, bakeries, drugstore and coffee shop all within 3 minutes walking distance. The service was great. The facility is well maintained. I actually booked my second stay there after I returned my China trip.

The staff is friendly and helpful and speaks decent English. The rooms are cleaned everyday and there is not much for breakfast other than soups and coffee but it’s free and cup noodles at night for free as well so that was convenient and there is a 24/7 open 7-Eleven next to the hotel for midnight snacks. Best to book the dates before as the pricing is a bit different for weekends vs weekdays. But still cheaper to book directly from them than booking from Expedia or any other website that I noticed. $97/day from what I remember paying.

Cityinn is very close to an MRT station, very comfortable, and has great amenities. The rooms have a good AC Unit, comfortable beds, and modern, clean bathrooms. We particularly love their lounge where you can get free beverages, occasional snacks, and breakfast cereals. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and also speak English. I 100% recommend staying at Cityinn!

Great service from housekeeping to front desk. I have two issues. One is the bed is not that comfortable. Felt the springs from the mattress. Second, even though the room descriptions had the same square footage, many of the rooms on one side of the building have a small balcony. The rooms on the other side of the building have no balcony. So the rooms with balcony have noticably smaller usable space.

This is really a nice hotel. The rooms, while not huge, are well laid out and quite comfortable. The entire second floor of the hotel it's open space for hotel guests, including very comfortable chairs and sofas, free laundry, and tables, microwaves, plates and utensils, etc. for eating. It’s hard to overstate how handy this is. The hotel is quite new. I was there when the big earthquake struck Hualien, and because the hotel is new and built to modern standards, it handled the quake easily, with no issues. Again, hard to overstate how good that was. The neighborhood is very walkable has tons of restaurants and groceries. And, as others have mentioned, a really convenient transit station.

Family Quad Room is quite small for family with big kids but the facilities are really good, they have laundries machine free for use and areas for relaxing that have water, coffees, hot chocolates machine free for use. Price is also reasonable compared with other hotels in Taipei. MRT station is just 5 mins walk

Stayed here for eight nights while exploring Taipei and surrounding area. The hotel is excellent overall, it is in great condition and the service is excellent. It does not have a restaurant, but there are many cafe's and restaurants close by, serving a variety of foods, and there is a convenience store downstairs. The hotel is very conveniently located, with the MRT station close by, and a You Bike station close by too. The room was slightly on the small size, but very comfortable and very well maintained.It has a well-appointed Rest Area with a Laundry Room, and basic kitchen with utensils, coffee and tea machines, etc. Overall, highly recommended.

The most outstanding and welcoming feature of this small but well-run hotel is its staff. This is my second stay at the hotel, and I continue to be very impressed by the service and attentiveness of the staff. in particular, I would like to mention front desk receptionist Arthur Wu who was very instrumental in helping me to change rooms on my previous visit. For my current visit, Arthur readily remembered my personal room preference, and was again able to find me a room that suited my 3-week long stay. Then Arthur followed up with me a few more times to make sure that I was indeed happy with the room (which I was!).
I have every reason to believe that Arthur's excellent customer service is representative of the hotel's core management style and philosophy. CityInn Plus Fuxing is indeed very fortunate to have someone like Arthur Wu on their team.

This hotel is amazing. If you're looking to spend alot of time in your hotel room, maybe not for you. The room is clean and simple. It's not big, and ours did not have a closet, but there were plenty of spaces to hang up clothes. Bathroom is great with all the needed amenities. Bidet and seat warmer are...fun. WiFi throughout the hotel. SELF SERVICE LAUNDRY AVAILABLE. So crucial. They even provide the soap for you. Coffee machine on second floor. Microwaves, toaster oven, etc. You can bring food or order in. Public computers available. Lots of lounging space. This hotel is perfect for travelers. It's a minute away from a 7-11. Maybe a 3 minute walk at most from MRT (exit station to the right and the hotel is just past the 7-11). Taxi stand a few feet away so easy to get a cab right outside.
