This hotel is nowhere near four-star quality. The carpets and furniture are old and worn, and even basic amenities (lotion, toothbrush) aren’t provided.
I booked the Presidential Suite and the AC never worked despite repeated claims it was “fixed.” Staff were dismissive, unhelpful, and only offered a fan or a downgrade with no price adjustment.

This hotel is nowhere near four-star quality. The entire experience felt more like a budget motel than a luxury stay.

Hotelnis located at a quiet neighbourhood. Family mart and 7 eleven are both located closely to the hotel. Multiple dining options within walking distance to the hotel. Green line trains are very convenient if you want to go to Ximending. Electronics mall, wufenpu, is an easy 15 minute walk from the hotel. Limited breakfast options. A bit tricky if you have a lot of luggage as it is 6-8minutes walk to the train station.

Very clean and comfortable. Some staff are great with English others not so. Just havs your phone ready with translation.
Room smelt a bit mouldy at first. We were in the Buisness king room. Huge bed, fabulous shower and it has a bath.
Breakfast is ok, but gets boring as there is the same things each day. Not much to choose from.

The service was great. The breakfast was average to poor as the selection was limited and the food was both bland and warm/cold. The sound proofing was average and can clearly hear the cars from outside despite being on a high floor. The TV resolution was poor, like back in the 90s. The sound from the TV in the bathroom was poor. The WiFi was average to poor. The bathtub was great and the bed was comfortable. The bare essentials are there.

Nice hotel located in central Taipei

I picked the hotel because of the location and previous good experiences with the same hotel chain. Location was convenient with a 5 minute walk to the nearest MRT interchange station. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious, clean and had the basic amenities. Even though the room was facing the main road (aka City View Room), traffic noise wasn't too bothersome. However the noise insulation between the room and bathroom of the adjacent room wasn't the best and we could occasionally hear the noise of running water when someone was showering. Breakfast had mostly local items (noodles, stir-fried foods, congee etc.) with some Western items. What was nice is that the items changed partially every morning giving the breakfast more variety when staying a longer time. Service at the reception was swift and they helped us book a bigger van to get to the airport with multiple suitcases.

stayed in the backpacker cabin as I was traveling alone. The room was very small, as expected, but had everything I need. The bath room was actually good size and well-equipped. With the included daily breakfast buffet, it is a good value if you only need the room to sleep at night. I will not recommend the packpacker cabin if you will stay fair amount of time in the room during the day.

The hotel is within walking distance to the MRT station. Very good customer service esp. the staffs working at the front desk.
The furniture in the room is dated, the room is too dark. The security lock on the door was broken and it should have been checked to ensure everything is working before new quest checked in. Breakfast was’nt that great.

*Clealines of room - failed due to found cockroach in the wardrobe.

*Room amenities - failed due to found aircond doesn't not cool at all after checked by technical, the reason given because hot weather of summer, in the end still not fix the issued only provided a standing fan. Secondly, socket in the room seen danger as after pluged in the cable it seen loose and socket located just both side of bed. Highlighted to staff, it aslo cannot be fix.

i seldom give such bad review to a hotel but it really really bad experience of my stay.

Fabulous backpacker room!

Perfect size for a solo traveler like me. Slippers,robe, rainforest shower,toilet seat with spa! The bed was comfy and the duvet lovely. The breakfast was plenty with a freshly ground coffee beans for your Espresso. A good 10mins walk from subway(metro).

The service is terrible.

The room only have a heater and no air conditioner, and only one room key. A third person needs to be charged extra because we only paid for a two person room. But we didn’t even ask for any extra necessities or extra bed. The front desk staff service is seriously terrible.

Great stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was so clean that you won't find a speck of dust on the furniture. The staff are polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is wonderful. It's near many local eateries, 7-11, Family Mart and of course, the MRT. We didn't run out of choices at all. We also appreciate the staff's friendliness and attentiveness. Great hospitality. We will stay here if we visit again.

*The wash basin in the room is too low, not ergonomic friendly.
*There was water leakage that wet the carpet outside the bathroom door after shower (still the same
after changed to another room at lower floor).
*Room is dim and old.

*Room size is okay.Cozy bathtub with TV on the wall.
*Not crowded and quiet surrounding.

Good hotel close to transit

This hotel is close to public transit and a bit of everything. 5 minutes walk to Songjiang Nanjing stn which is very convenient. Less than 20 mins walk distance to Huashan creative park where is one of my favorite place in Taipei. Convenient stores and restaurants are many to choose from around that area.
Hotel staffs are kind and helpful. Breakfast is decent. Only the facilities and conditions( power plugs) are outdated and suggested to fix.
Overall, it is a decent hotel to stay.

I stayed in a corner room with two-side street view. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was very large and luxurious, with a shower AND a tub. The toilet with built-in bidet has wall-mounted controls.There were multitudes lighting control in the room.Great for the mood but I wished the desk area and the bathroom counter could be brighter.

The bed was very comfortable. Got great sleep each night of the 6-night stay. The breakfast room was cozy and the buffet style breakfast was pretty good. The gym in 2nd floor is semi-outdoor. The treadmills were not friendly to use. I wished the room had a microwave.

The hotel location is great. A 6 minutes walk to the MRT station. There are many good places to eat nearby.

The hotel is generally good for business and sight-seeing stay. Convenient access to public transports and subway. Except my single room is a bit small (and oddly my travel adaptor cannot be used in the room for power supply, this issue was fixed with friendly staff finally, they lend me one).

The room is unexpectedly large with bench to put two big suitcases and still have space for sitting. The bathroom is spacious too with tub and shower, water pressure is great but toiletries are good enough for a short stay. Unfortunately i dont have chance to try their buffet breakfast but they look tempting even though they only provide limited choices. This is definitely the hotel i will recommend friends to stay when they visit Taipei

Clean hotel in good location near mrt.

The hotel is fairly new within waking distance to MRT. The service is good and staff are friendly. My included buffet breakfast was okay.

I booked a single room which is very small. No place to even hang or put your clothing. No place to put my luggage. The room and bathroom are clean. It is good value for the price I paid.

it's located at 5-10 min walk from mrt station (song jiang nan jing). it's close to bus stop 1960 (in front of capitol hotel) where there's an express bus to taoyuan airport (NTD 145 pp, 50min). there's a supermarket (wellcome) nearby and nearby there are many good restaurant around.

the lobby is new, definitely but i doubt that the picture of the room is a true portrayal of the hotel. the bedroom that i was given is definitely much more run down that those shown in the pictures. what i gathered from my taiwanese friend is that they have a couple of branches in taipei and this hotel happens to be the oldest. hence, they could have used picture of other hotels.

Great hotel with easy Metro (MRT) access to Sung Shan Airport. I arrived in Tapei quite a few hours before check in and the staff kindly stored my luggage while I explored Taipei. When I checked in I got a vastly upgraded room to what I had booked. A very pleasant stay.

Though the hotel was located along the road, the hotel logo was not prominent, the cab driver went a big round before locating the hotel. The lobby was small, the room was not as big as expected (perhaps the bathroom took up half of the room size). The \"window\" that we requested for in the room turned out to be a fire exit, with no view. The plus point was having a TV in the bathroom, and guests can watch TV while soaking in the bath tub.

Check-in and check-out was fast and the breakfast served by the hotel was delicious.

A 10-min walking distance to the Songjiang-nanjing MRT station. Quite a quiet district at night, as compared to the bustling Ximending area.

Easy to find hotel, located near the metro, convenience stores, banks and more. The hotel is modern and well kept and the staff are gracious and professional. Room is clean with a modern bathroom and good quality toiletries. Free breakfast was way better than expected, good selection of food and it was delicious. A very pleasant stay

It's a good experience to stay in Green World hotel. Located in commercial area with office building nearby. It's relatively quiet compared to other area in Taipei especially we arrived in weekend. Subway station is just a few minutes away on foot. Room was nice and clean with comfortable king size bed. Breakfast is included and basic food available. It's good to leave some stomach room to enjoy variety of local food when hanging around the city.

With reasonable rate, most likely will stay here again for next visit to Taipei. May also recommend to friends. :)

Hotel location is near to metro exit. Breakfast is okay, don't expect too much. Reception staffs will greet you every morning that's impressive. The queen size bed is very comfortable and room size is very big!! Sound insulation is fine. Overall is good but you really need to consider ARE YOU MENTALLY/PHYSICALLY PREPARED to transit if you take metro everyday/everytime.

Green World Hotel - Jianpei Suites, Taipei

First time arrived in Taipei, heavy rain and had a bit of problem with the taxi driver who could not understood English, so I gave him my mobile phone and asked him to speak to the hotel reception and ask for direction. When we arrived at the hotel, the driver just throw out our bags and left. My first impression, is that all Taiwanese people like that!

Checked in at Green World Hotel Jianpei Suites for our first night before joined Taiwan five days tour the next day. Like the hotel designed and well equipped. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Stayed two more nights after the tour end. Very satisfied.

Hotel was quite nice, and the staff was friendly. The downsides are the breakfast was not very good and even though the staff was happy to give advice, things we traveled 30 minutes to a recommended restaurant that is always closed on Mondays. My main complaint is with Hotels.com that did not email me a confirmation and when I called to check on this, they claimed that I deleted it from the system. It took over 45 minutes on the phone to clear this up.

霉味、吹風機壞掉，6點多工作人員就在外面工作對話都沒在注意吵到人，持續了一個半小時根本無法睡。頭部正上方燈區跟洗手台上方燈區都蛀掉，導致一大堆粉還是霉在飄，只好用衛生紙塞住頭上方的燈區，此外冷氣風直吹頭。

立地は非常に便利。駅から歩いて数分、ホテルすぐそばにコンビニもあり、まわりには飲食店がたくさんあります。スタッフの方も親切でした。高速の近くというのが気になりましたが、たまに救急車の音が聞こえるくらいでそこまで騒音はなし。
古いホテルなのか、室内の設備はやや古く、バスルームも汚れが多少目立ちましたが、このお値段ならあり。一点、あまり掃除が行き届いていないのは気になりました。

立地もとても便利でした。

1階の共用のトイレが1つしかなく男女兼用なのですが、なかなかあかなくて、ずっとまっていたらおじさんがでてきて便座が水浸し？みたいになっていて、それだけが嫌でした。ホテルに責任はないですが。
