Overall, great experience. The stuff is very friendly, location is convenient, and breakfast was tasty. The only thing might the typical humidity related smell, but it’s gone after one day of using the room.

We had good time in Taipei, one of the reasons was the comfortable stay at Forward hotel. The staffs were friendly and helpful, the location was ideal to many attractions, also very close to the subway which was great. Our 7 nights at this hotel was great. The reception and service staff were excellent. So were the housekeeping staff. It is very centrally located (but off a busy street) and close to restaurants and all modes of transport - the Metro was just a short walk away. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommended.

I don't know if it applied for me, i was really feeling comfortable and their service was so good. When i got there, they just didn't ask many stuffs, and i was able to go inside faster check-in 1 hour. They served some foods and even in the hotel had it. I had trip for 3days and this was the best.

Disappointed. First, the bathroom. Due to an issue with the glass doors of the shower (I suppose), they put a bathtub in the shower (with not proper drain pipe so the water is ending in the shower, see picture) and they hung the shower curtain to the former support of the shower doors (most of the rooms of the floor had a bathtub in the shower). When standing in the bathtub, my head was nearly touching the rain shower. Then in the corner of the bathroom you can see mold.

Employees were not friendly (the manager lady of the front desk was more than not friendly, she was limit impolite) except two employees at the front desk who were nice and the cleaning lady of the 1st floor who was very helpful ( she explained us how the washing machine was working only with the hands as she was only speaking Chinese).

We were really pleased with our choice of Forward Hotel during our visit to Taipei. Extremely convenient as it's just around the corner from the MRT station, and in a quiet area. Within walking distance is Creative 1914, worth visiting if you have a free hour or two. Good breakfast, welcoming staff, great value for money. Pocket WiFi available to rent helped us out a lot too.
