We stay there first 3 days was very good during the Chinese new year. Then we visited Taichung and 佛光山Temple prayed. Finish we rebooked this hotel again couple days later we went to Shanghai for family reunion 10 days then we come back Taipei still stayed this K Hotel. Very good experience and will be back in next time.

The bed for the Basic room is hard. Shower head is leaking when turn on.
Other than those issues, place is clean, staffs were very courteous and helpful. Location is great.
Breakfast buffet was included in the stay and it was good. Simple but done nicely,
It has your own self-service laundry which is bonus and you can access their K lounge where they do the breakfast for some coffee/tea and snacks.

This is a wonderful value for central Taipei. The hotel is clean and spacious. The amenities provided are really five star and very premium branded like Panasonic, Toto, Nespresso. The standard room with windows is so comfortable and includes a mini living room area, almost like a suite! Very generously sized for Taipei. Lastly, the staff are all very polite and go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here!

Front desk staff was very nice and helpful with directions and access to public transportation. Room cleaning staff were so friendly and efficient; our room was cleaned by the time we came back from breakfast! Also, the room had a premium coffee machine and electronic toilet.
Only downside with room was the only window opened into a stairwell.

The property is located in a convenient area of Taipei, about a 10 min walk to the local MRT station (Songjiang-Nanjing). There is convenient shopping and lots of restaurants nearby. There are 2 7-11's and a Family Mart on the same block as the hotel.
The staff is very kind and helpful. The property is clean but does show signs of aging and wear. Carpets in the main areas are stained, as are some of the carpet areas in the rooms (such as in front of the refrigerator), but they do not smell. All of the in-room appliances are working properly. The bathroom is clean but shows signs of aging and use. The hotel provides a lot of extra bathroom amenities including extra toothbrushes, a hair dryer, soaps, shampoos and personal supplies. The rooms are quiet and neighbor-noise was not ever noticed.
The breakfast buffet is great. There are options for American, Chinese and Japanese flair. The variety changes on most days to offer some new dishes. There are cereals, breads with spreads, milk and juices, hot coffee, fresh fruit, and hot dishes including eggs, meats, vegetables and rice.
The hotel is a solid 3-star as far as condition and room arrangement, but the in-room amenities and breakfast buffet are more practical than some 4- and 5-star locations I have stayed. I do not utilize any on-site fitness, spa or swimming facilities when staying at hotels, so the lack of these facilities was not any concern.

Everything was satisfying other then the hotel's image descriptions.

I booked the business double and noticed the room type had different layouts. The images on hotels.com were not correctly same with what you expected online. Please be aware that your rooms may have been different from the multiple images on this website.

Other than this, everything was doubtlessly awesome during the stay.

There is one huge drawback is that the speed of the Wi-fi is unreasonably slow. Appreciate if this could be improved.

Anyways, it is an excellent choice if you prefer to stay at a quieter area of Taipei and want to have a tranquil experience.

Zero level of customer service. Staying for 2 weeks for business, so I brought a lot of shirt. Ask for extra hanger and they said they don't have. Consecutively 2 days did not make up my room, only replace with 2 new bath towel. Upon check out, I need to ask for invoice then they print it out for me. Terrible service, bad experience. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. There are many choices in Taipei.

This is a 4.5 stars hotel. Across streets are bakeries and coffee shops to several restaurants. MRT only 8 minutes away. The staffs at front desk and restaurant are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast were tasty and fresh with different dishes every morning. Only one thing like to see improvement is the carpet in the room needs clean and vacuum every morning. We still enjoyed our 9 days stayed and planning on coming back to this hotel.

The KHotel Chang An was the best hotel experience we had while travelling through Taiwan on vacation over several weeks! Our standout stay was based on the outstanding service provided by hotel staff.Penny and Corgi were especially helpful and attentive but all staff deserve recognition,from checkin to checkout.Room was very comfortable, clean with a nice view of the main street outside.location was safe, convenient to MRT, restaurants & shopping. Breakfast room was spacious & bright with tasty food(Chinese& some western, espresso/latte machine, mochi,etc.). Nice way to start the day. We will definitely be back and recommending to friends & family.

Nice hotel! Every place we went in the hotel was clean. We got a room with no window, but this was no problem. Nice, clean room. Had a closet and a few drawers or nooks to keep stuff. A desk and chair. A mini-fridge (no freezer). Efficient use of space. English TV channels: CNN, Disney, Discovery, Fox movies, HBO, maybe a couple more. The room cleaning, dining room, and front desk staff were all nice and helpful. The breakfast was hotel buffet breakfast served in a nice, spacious dining room. It was good! Lots of choices. A good latte/cappuccino machine. What more do you need?

Staffs don’t speak English very well, except the director and supervisor. The computers in the business center didn’t work. There was no printer in the business center. If you need to print something, you need to send the front desk the file so they can print it for you. One of the two washers didn’t work properly (it didn’t spin). Food is ok.

Pleasantly Surprised! Easily a 4 Star Hotel

Just stayed here September 2018- REALLY Great Hotel! I was actually very surprised at how brand new and clean this hotel and its rooms feel! For the price i expected far less and its easily a 4 Star in my book. I usually stay at 5 star brand name chains but this hotel is right next to the office i was visiting. Staff is very friendly, will go the extra mile on service made a few calls to restaurants for me to translate my questions for example. The breakfast was included ..pretty much basic hotel breakfast buffet..not crazy amazing..but also not bad! ..it changed every day so was nice the days i was too lazy to leave to get something unique. Location is fine..safe..not the most tourist area for sight seeing but worked well for me.

I also liked the bathroom dual shower and tub..modern..clean and like i said the room overall feels brand new and modern.

For the price i was extremely happy and surprised. I will stay here again

Nice new hotel with good breakfast, but odor issue

The hotel offers a really good buffet breakfast and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and offer a great layout. My only issue is that the rooms I was assigned did not have a good odor. I'm extra sensitive to odors and could detect cigarette smoke. Kudos to the hotel who responded very quickly by providing an air purifier on Day 1 (due to the lack of availability of rooms), and by assigning me to a different room on Day 2.

The location is not as busy as the other one, hotel is clean, personnels are nice and polite. Just one thing that made me so upset was I had to pay a fine of $200 NTW by losing a hotel key (card).
I didn’t argue because my taxi was waiting to take me to the airport.

Best part of the hotel is the staff

This location is K hotel's newest flagship hotel. It is new and clean, however, the breakfast was the worst compare to the other seven hotels that I have stayed during this 23-days trip to Taiwan. The breakfast was not bad by all means but it was just not up to par even compared to a lower priced hotel.

There is no gym so I exercised by walking along the streets that surround the hotel. Hotel provides two washing machines and two dryers for guest to use free of charge. The Sonjiang-Nanjing MRT station (exit #4) is just five minutes away. There are many restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel.

There was one issue after we checked in that made us very upset but later on the hotel staff apologized and upgraded us to a suite and also gave us a box of pineapple cake for their mishandling of the situation.

From desk staff were friendly and courteous. They greeted us with smile whenever they see us and helped us for the use of elevators and luggage assistance. I want to acknowledge Ms. Bai (白小姐) and Sunny for their outstanding services. Sunny not only helped us to carry our luggages to the taxi but she also helped my elderly mother to get in the taxi and buckled up the seat belt for her with the utmost gentleness and politeness! Our flight was 7:50 pm so Ms. Bai arranged a late check out (our taxi driver picked us up around 4:30pm) for us free of any extra charge. I will stay at this hotel next time when I go to Taipei again.

인사도 잘 받아주시고, 조식식당에 직원분들께서도 손님 행동을 놓치지 않을려고 신경쓰는 것을 보았어요.
무엇보다 아이가 있는 손님들은 어린이용 그릇과 수저, 유아의자까지 챙겨주는것을 보았습니다.

동양식(쌀밥,흰 죽, 국 등), 유럽식(빵,커피, 샐러드,콘프라이트 등) 간단하지만 있을것이 다있는 식단이었습니다.
향신로 냄새가 않나서 까다로운 저의 어머니께서도 맛있다고 잘 드셨어요.
저는 엄청 잘 먹었습니다.

4.편의시설
5층에 세탁시설이 있는데 작습니다.
작은 용량의 세탁기2대와 건조기2대가 있었는데 건조기 1대는 고장이나 사용 할 수 없었습니다.
세탁기 용량이 작아 소량으로 나누어 빨래를 할 수 있었습니다.
차라리 돈을 넣더라도 큰용량의 세탁기와 건조기를 사용하는 것이 더 좋겠다는 생각이 들었습니다.
