Cosmos Creation is the latest branding effort from the Cosmos Hotels and Resorts Group, which focuses on the concept of ‘localized design travel' that manifests in customized theme hotels rich in local cultural elements. Following the success of the Sun Dialogue by Cosmos Creation in Chiayi and the Icasa Hotel by Cosmos Creation in Taichung, Cosmos Creation targeted the Taipei market for the launch of its third endeavor in the Hua Shan 1914 Creative Park.

Hua Shan Din by Cosmos Creation is a design hotel housed in a historical building of the original slab and column architectural design, with the banking and brewery cultures of its past incorporated into its design elements. The building's original slab and column architectural style with funnel top columns is preserved to allow extended vertical space and maximum comfort.

The guest rooms are filled with clever designs stemmed from the “Preserving Hua Shan 1950” design concept, including bank vault door handles, unique gold color mugs, and note pads in the design of a checkbook.

The room quality was mediocre. I paid the most for this hotel during my trip but, I don't see the quality in the room and the rooms were not very sound proof.
There was no breakfast, but the cleanliness was good and the location was good.
I wouldn't go back to this hotel next time.

Fantastic stay

Location is good, within walking distance to the mrt station and Huashan Creative Park. Service staff is attentive and helpful. If I really have to deduct marks it'll be the slight lack of variety in breakfast selections. Otherwise I'm giving thumbs up for the hotel.

Very honest staff!

I recently spent four nights at the Hua Shan Din in Taipei and had a truly memorable experience. First, I want to express my gratitude to the staff for their exceptional service and honesty.

After checking out and returning home to the San Francisco area, I received an email from the hotel informing me that I had left a significant amount of cash in my room. I will not explain the stupid reason for the cash being left behind.

I emailed back the hotel and arranged for my cousin to retrieve it along with other forgotten items. The hotel manager was diligent in verifying both my identity and my cousin’s before returning the cash to him.

I have to commend the hotel cleaning staff and front desk team for their integrity. I had heard about Taiwanese hospitality, safety, and honesty before, but experiencing it firsthand was truly remarkable.

For those seeking a hotel near a subway station, the Hua Shan Din by Cosmos Creation is an excellent choice. Styled after a bank vault with “gold” bars adorning the lobby and public areas, it has a unique charm. When I arrived before check-in time, they kindly stored my luggage while I went out for lunch. At 3 pm, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. My room was a decent size and well-equipped for a four-night stay. There is a subway station very close by where you access the entire system.

I highly recommend the Hua Shan Din hotel by Cosmos Creations of you want to stay in Taipei. I’ll be staying there again next time.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean and well maintained. Kids loved the candy area. We enjoyed the welcome drinks. Breakfast was good and had a variety of Asian dishes.

We were able to check out and leave our luggage at the hotel to pick up later as we weren’t leaving Taipei until mid afternoon after the checkout time. This is a great service that the hotel offered which we really appreciated.

Things to note:

- I am not a fan of the coffee that was offered. That being said, I have a hard time finding good coffee in Taiwan in general as tea seems to be more popular here.
- The mattresses are harder than I am used to. This is also common in Taiwan. Just something to be aware of.

Overall a great hotel. Would definitely recommend! Thank you! :)

Convenient location with modern feel

The hotel has a very updated, modern feel. The rooms are small, but the space is utilized well. I appreciate that they had three twin beds for the three people in our group so that we did not have to share. Complementary bottles of water every day. Laundry facility on the first floor. A free drink from the restaurant for each person. Best thing is the location. You are 2 blocks to the blue line and orange line. We found that to be so convenient. Convenience, stores and restaurants nearby. Others have complained about noise, but we did not experience any noises from other customers. Perhaps people talking when they walk by our room, but not much. My only complaint is the way the bathroom is designed. Toilet and the shower are separated by the vanity in the middle. It’s very hard to put on your clothes standing on a wet shower floor. There’s no door that encloses the vanity/sink area, so you don’t have privacy and you easily disturb other people in the room.

It was deceiving that there was no indication or description telling me that the room that I booked (standard room) had no window.... and I was paying ~NTD4000 a night which I am sure that I could get a much better choice in Taipei with this amount of budget.

However, as the hotel was full house for the two nights that I planned to stay and I arrived in the midnight for check in, I had to put up with this room with no window for the first night at least. I appreciated the hotel manager offered me a free cancellation at the end, even though it was a non cancelable booking.

Anyhow, I would expect that they would update the information in all hotel websites about the fact that there is no window for their standard rooms to avoid another disappointment to other guests.

滿分的主題酒店，特別在LOBBY的扭蛋機，是每日必玩的重點項目。

在台北至少有30次不同的酒店體驗，這次絕對是非常突出的。
酒店與華山只一街之隔，是前銀行金庫，主題就直接以這個出發，氣氛十分特別。「早餐」是用金幣去兌換，如果想留念就要放棄吃早餐。見到其他四人房設計十分特別，如果幾個好朋友一起入住，相信會好好玩。不說太多，其他留待自己去體驗。
小小的問題就是房間比較新，空氣仍然有一點點油漆味。另外必須改善的是淋浴的去水位，很容易堵塞，水會直接流到房間，慢慢會浸濕地毯之類的，滋生細菌引起異味。希望酒店會馬上加大去水管改善一下。
只要保持合理價格，絕對會再次入住。

Very stylish hotel with friendly front-desk staff (good attitude and smile!). I like the art element and design of this new hotel. The location is excellent as it's in the heart of Taipei city. It is also very quiet in the room (won't hear any car noise outside) and the bedding is of good quality. Will stay there again if price is good.

On the negative side, breakfast selection is quite limited (although quality is high) which needs to be improved.

Nice hotel with a few details to be improved

Staff was nice, hotel decor was chic, the room was nice too and the bed was comfortable. We requested for a twin room instead of a room with a double bed when we booked through hotels.com, however they gave us a room with double bed. We requested for 2 single beds again and the staff quickly arranged another room for us. In the 2nd room, we noticed that we could hear the music playing in the corridor loud and clear, please consider to lower the volume down or just turn it off. In the next morning, we heard people yelling and running around in the corridor.

客室はトイレとシャワールームが分かれており、快適に過ごせました。ミネラルウォーターも毎日補充されていて助かりました。

朝食は種類こそ多くはありませんが、台湾らしいメニューが揃っていて楽しめました。テーブル数も多く、混雑を感じることはありませんでした。また、ロビーでは台湾の駄菓子がセルフサービスで用意されており、ちょっとした楽しみになりました。

立地・設備ともにバランスの良いホテルで、また台湾を訪れる際には利用したいと思います。

台北駅から二駅の忠孝新生駅から歩いてすぐの好立地ですのでスーツケースを持っての移動も苦にならず、ホテルは綺麗です。
一つだけ気になったのはシャワーです。
脱衣所がないので1人の宿泊でない場合には注意が必要と思いました。また、シャワーの水量が弱いので改善されると良いなと思いました。
