The hotel had a lot of charm and surprises with a great view of the Da'an Park. Breakfasts were delicious with so many great choices. Tea-time snacks and evenings with fruit and treats were a pleasant surprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful with a variety of things including navigating and finding places to go.

We were in Taipei for a concert and arrived at the hotel a bit early to drop off our luggage. The young lady at the reception,Linda, was very sweet and courteous. Some might say the hotel is outdated but personally, it reminds me a lot of the European boutique hotels. The room was clean and the bathtub was a bonus. Will definitely come back and stay at this hotel again.

My coupon of breakfast went missing for the second day. The breakfast buffet selcetion was decent. Also the staff enter your room multiple times to 'clean' and leave food. This is a nice hotel. The room was clean and of a good size, and I liked the hotel's interior design and decor. There is even a nice breakfast on the floor below the lobby. The location is across from a park and close to shops and a metro station.

My only complaints are that the traffic noise was loud from my room, and the curtain was thin, so when it was closed it still let a lot of light in.

4.5 stars. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Every day, the staff would leave a plate of fruit and cookie for me. They also left a basket of snacks when I first checked in. I had a great stay!
One negative was the shower door didnt close tight so water leaked out into the floor into the other drain.

Easy check in with friendly, English-speaking staff. Just what we needed after a 32 hour travel day. Location is perfect. The park view room was comfortable and spacious. Jacuzzi tub was great for recovering from our flights. Property has some wear and tear from age, but is generally well maintained. Hotel breakfast was sufficient, but you should really walk to Yong Kang Street and eat something like Tian Jin Scallion Pancake. I will happily return to this hotel.

The room was a bit small and I had noisy neighbors (slamming doors as they enter and exit) but that's not the hotel's fault. When we booked it didn't include breakfast but when we arrived, they gave us complementary full breakfasts, which was awesome. The staff was amazing. Not everyone is fluent in English, but more than willing to help. Free valet parking which is really awesome. Free laundry facility. Its literally about 100 meters from a subway station. Very centralized to just about everything. Room is huge(we got the deluxe room with king bed). We absolutely stay here again when we come back to Taiwan. Complimentary water bottles in room. Afternoon snacks delivered to room each afternoon.

The location of this hotel is superb. A few steps to the train station and hotel overlooks a park. nearby are many shops, cafes, restaurants, and other shopping streets. Good spas nearby too. Stayed with Rido Hotel for approx 7 days. Everything was very clean (housekeepers did a good job), and despite a smaller-ish room, it was perfect for 2 as they used spacing well (had closet, drawers and shelves). Free laundry (strong washer and dryer) in the lot along with free detergent from the staffs. Receptionists were helpful and overall friendly.
Location is a bit far from central taipei and ximending/zhongshan/taipei 101/etc.; however, all the big spots are accessible with a few minute walk to daan park station and 30 mins commute generally, plus bus stations are close by too. Despite a safe and quiet surrounding, we did find the walls are quite thin. We always heard our neighbour's tv playing (esp at 9/10pm) and children laughing/screaming in the hall. The sound is dimmed out so we were still able to sleep!

観光で4泊しました。淡水信義線の大安森林公園駅の側にあって、夜など特に静かで落ち着いた場所にありました。
コンビニも近くにあり、便利です。
文湖線の大安、中和新蘆線の東門も歩いて行ける距離にあります。

フロントの方がとてもやさしく、安心して泊まれました。
部屋は道路に面しているのに静かで、内部の音もほぼ入って来ないので、気持ち良く過ごせました。
また、ちょっとしたスナックを用意してあるのがありがたかったです。
バスタブがあって、ジャグジーが付いているのが良かったです。シャンプーとバスジェルは一種類ずつなので、気になる方は持って行った方が良いと思います。

滞在中、洗濯機を使いたい旨を申し出たら、フロントの方が粉末洗剤を出して使い方を教えてくれました。乾燥機もあるので、朝のうちに使って、終わったら観光に行くというのが出来るので便利です。

Stayed in the hotel with my son in early July, 2025. Overall experience is great. Nice helpful staff: love 4 complimentary bottles of waters. This helps us greatly every day. Helped us to answer questions about transportation to Wulai and helped to call taxi to Wulai.

The only thing we hope the hotel can think about is to provide breakfast in the morning. There are not many breakfast stands/shops nearby. Getting feed in the morning is a challenge 😀.
