Although the hotel has an excellent location, it remains held back by the same issues I’ve noted for years. The rooms are very dated and in desperate need of a deep clean. Additionally, the front desk staff could be much more welcoming; the service feels cold and indifferent. I keep coming back for the location, but the property is showing its age.

The location of the hotel is super convenient - it is right off the train stop. The staff is friendly. Our room was dirty and moldy and the AC was just ok (it didn't seem cool enough to fully remove all of the humidity but it was fine for cooling the room somewhat). Our refrigerator was growing mold inside and didn't get cold. Our friend's room in the same hotel was much cooler so it probably was just our room. My daughters stayed in a separate room and their room had lightly reeked of cigarette smoke and was also quite dirty (don't look underneath the bed!). We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel so I would say that it is fine for basic lodging needs but housekeeping could use a lot of improvement.

We stayed 4 nights here. Although our room was very small and the floor and shower wall could use some maintenance, the hotel elevator was fast andcl the hotel is very close to the subway line. An OK, simple hotel Furniture in the room is way too old and should be replaced. No cafeteria, but several options nearby. Electronic checking at a machine may be a problem; we arrived around midnight and were lucky that a staff member was on site to help us (the machine did not take our Canadian credit cards and the person had to do something at the back office)

We booked this hotel based on the reviews and pictures, but in reality, it was completely different. The service overall was okay, except when we were about to check in; the staff started panicking because 3 or 4 groups were checking in at the same time. When we entered the room, the first thing we noticed was peeling wallpaper and damaged walls. Our initial impression was already negative. Moreover, we discovered further damage under the desk. The most unsatisfying part was finding little fleas or ants all over the desks. The shower door couldn't open or close properly. Overall, it was just a bad experience at this hotel. It was our first time here, and it will also be our last

There really isn't anything to complain about for this well-located 旅館. The rooms are a bit tired and while they are clean, they don't feel \"deep clean\".

It is a very clean, modern, well maintained hotel, located very conveniently for us. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. The free breakfast is excellent, tasty and healthful. The TV is very large and has great picture quality. The shower and bathroom facilities are very modern, and work very well. They could add a spare roll of toilet paper to the bathroom. The price is very competitive. We will plan on staying there, on our next visit to Taipei.

#1 choice for visiting National Taiwan University
I attended an academic conference so looking for somewhere near National Taiwan University. The location is very convenient. Just took 40 minutes to reach downtown Taipei from the airport via Express Rail and then changed to local metro for 2 more stations. The hotel is very close to a metro exit and get found very easy. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. NTU is just 10-15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. A lot of choices for local foods nearby. Breakfasts were included with very good quality so I didn't need to walk out before going to the meetings every morning. Thanks Li Yuan gave me an enjoyable trip in Taipei.

Hotel room was pretty small. Shower area was a little awkward since only the middle part of the glass was frosted so you can see the person's legs using the bathroom walking around. However, room overall is clean and comfortable. Front desk is also helpful. Good area to walk around since there is a night market just across the road, with many food and drinks options around. Self check in system was not properly functioned, first Expedia reservation number was not available, has to talk to people on phone to get different number, and the credit card machine was unable to work, has to sent another link to my mobile phone to use credit card. 從半夜12:30開始，被火災警鈴驚醒，隔了一會兒才聽到廣播，細微的女性聲音說：火警尚在查證中，就再也沒有廣播交代查證結果，只好穿上隨時可逃的衣服躺床上睡覺，整晚就在剛要睡著中，陸續又被警鈴驚醒，第三次警鈴後下樓，看到一些和我同樣被驚嚇困惑的旅客，櫃檯小姐說沒有火災發生，可能是警鈴系統老舊的問題。真的是設備老舊，浴簾一個掛洞破損，衛浴用品置物籃有鐵鏽，一邊床側的電燈開關損壞不能開。若不是此住宿地點，離第二天一早要去的地方近，我也不會選擇此處。
