I had a great stay at Swiio Hotel Daan. The room was clean, tidy, and surprisingly spacious. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s rest. I also appreciated the wide variety of complimentary items provided, including a coffee machine, tea, soft drinks, beer, soda water, snacks, and even cup noodles — a really nice touch! The room spray added a pleasant scent to the space, making the overall stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at Swiio Hotel Daan. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and spoke excellent English, which made everything smooth and comfortable.

One of the standout features was the abundance of complimentary food, drinks, snacks, and bottled water available throughout our stay—it felt like thoughtful hospitality at every turn. Breakfast was another highlight: delicious, plentiful, and beautifully presented each morning.

We booked two rooms, both spotless, and well-maintained, offering a perfect comfort. Every detail made us feel cared for.

Swiio Hotel Daan exceeded our expectations in every way. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.

Very nice boutique hotel.

Very nice boutique hotel. Close to a metro stop and we found some really nice restaurants and bars just down the street. The staff was very friendly and spoke English well. They stored our luggage when we arrived and after we checked out. The amenities in the room were amazing. Free mini bar. Three different scented room sprays. Face serum and cuticle cream. I’m really glad we found this place.

Loved it!!

Loved it. Beautiful rooms. Try to stay in room numbers ending in 01-05. The 06-9 rooms look into the next building with no view. Eat next door at the Taiwanese restaurant across the street. It’s amazing !! Wonderful gentle staff. Good breakfast though Taiwanese breakfast is much better . Cute small alleys with amazing shops behind the hotel.

It was very close to Taipei 101 but not too close to MRT's and a bit on the pricier side.. A bit overpriced, but overall, not a bad place to stay if you want to get around Taipei.

Staff and rooms were great. Walls a little thin, had a group of travellers with 2 or 3 rooms opening and closing their doors at 2ish am and talking loudly. Either the walls are too thin or they are very loud. Soundproofing could be much better

Pros: location, breakfast, super clean room, eco-friendly
amenities with refillable shampoo/conditioner/shower gel dispenser in the bathroom, fancy washlet Kohler toilet, a plethora of room sprays, fragrances, hair mist and cuticle oils to sample free of charge, coffee/tea and a small selection of snacks and drinks to enjoy free and refilled daily
Cons: in-room voice-controlled functions did not work that well and always took several tries to complete tasks, front desk staff could be friendlier. Most of the time they do not bother looking up from behind the very high counter when we enter the tiny entrance (I wouldn't even call it a lobby, more like a front room) let alone acknowledge anyone entering the room... which is a bit strange, especially for the people of Taipei which for the most part is a courteous bunch!

Amazing boutique hotel!

Amazing breakfast! I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone, but trust me when I say, you're in for a pleasant surprise when it comes to their free breakfast included in your stay! Elevated dining experience! The hotel is minimalist but comfortable with their high tech toilet and AI assistant. Service is amazing and they really deliver! Comfortable high end bedding and sheets. Only complaint is not enough closet space which is just a hanging rack and no drawer space, but I've stayed at tiny European hotels so this is luxury compared to those in Germany or even New York.

Stayed here on two separate occasions. 3rd floor - heard plumbing sounds/toilet flushing and random noises in our room throughout the night. 5th floor - same experience with noise.

An hour after checkout we received a call from front desk informing us that we would be charged for a towel because there was a “stain that wouldn’t come out”. We stayed for one night.. spilled some coffee so naturally wiped with a towel to clean the counter…maybe they are talking about that?!!

Anyways won’t be staying here again…it’s too noisy and being charged for a towel stain is ridiculous. I’ve never been charged for using a hotel towel before.

Front desk service and our room service were very good. The gentleman and ladies during check in and check out were very accommodating and had good grasp of English. The beautiful room is a good size and clean with continuous replenishments of the mini bar and bathroom toiletries. Breakfast was good. Except for one incident that needs to be addressed. We called their attention about it.

Great location! Surrounded by lots of dining options
Hotel is within short walking distance (about 8 mins) to Daan Station
All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. Lots of interesting details within the room itself and the room is rather spacious too.
One minus point is the Wi-Fi connection. Though staff are aware and apparently the hotel
is working on it.
It has been a great stay for me and I look forward to staying there again!

Very comfortable stay. The room is small but has all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Just no facilities like swimming pool, gym etc which I never ever use anyway. So this hotel is perfect for me. Location is convenient. Prior to this, we spent 2 nights at W Taipei and Swiio is just as comfortable even though room rate is almost half of W. Real value for money. Service staff is excellent, giving us directions as well as helping us arrange transfer to airport at very reasonable price.

The staff was super nice, explained everything in the room to us. Room condition was great and clean. Love the all-white design! Although it doesn't smell good in the room, the hotel provide a whole set of room spray that you can use. Didn't have chance to have breakfast but the breakfast place look nice! This is a wonderful property with very friendly and competent people who run it with love. Having stayed in many Hotels, Swiio DaAn gives even 5 star Hotels a run for the money. You must look for issues and apart of a pool that probably not even needed, you won’t find a thing. It goes from one nice surprise to the next. Enjoy your stay!

Good design and enjoyed the tasty breakfast especially the fruit juice concoctions. Pillows are soft though otherwise comfortable enough. As our room is at the corner so we have 2 sides of window openings, would have been better if the control of the blinds could be independent so that we can adjust them separately to look st our preferred view. They have sprays catered for your needs in the room which is unique and nice touch! A lot of variety of in-room complimentary snacks and drinks- you won’t go hungry at all. Deep Bath tub to enjoy and handy lighted toilet bowl to used in the middle of the night. Provide complimentary good laundry area next to gym. Nice restaurants, supermarket and shops nearby are a plus.

I loved every aspect of this hotel. Great area, felt very safe and plenty of places to eat. Approx 25min walk to 101. Friendly, helpful staff. Loved the room - modern, minimalist and very comfortable. Lovely shower and big, deep bath. Wifi was very reliable. Free minibar (mostly non-alcoholic drinks & a few snacks) including bottles of water daily or thers a 7/11 a couple of doors down if you want/need anything else. Good breakfast and the restaurant downstairs was excellent. Highly recommend.

Da’an Gem 💎

Impeccably designed with thoughtful layout details. No space was wasted in a compact space. Bright, white and heavenly.

Such a treat to have Le Blanc downstairs as a dinner option - wonderful steak frites and lovely atmosphere. Child-friendly too.

Our 11yo slept on the daybed by the window and it was perfectly adequate. Staff provided a fluffy duvet and a pillow for him.

Free minibar was a really nice touch. All the tea and coffee items provided were a joy to use due to the choice of well designed objects.

Breakfast choice felt a little limited by the end of the 2 weeks I stayed, but for anyone staying a week or less I reckon it would be fine.

The neighbourhood was full of interesting looking bars and izakayas which we didn’t get a chance to explore but we took advantage of the ice shop nearby called Snowflake Bro - it was the ideal antidote for a hot taipei summer. Better than the crowded mango ice shops at Yongkang any day!

The team took wonderful care of us - we’ll be back!

Comfy Modern Hotel, Some Functionality Lacking

Very cool and modern looking, with great amenities (free mini bar, laundry, gym). Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included but was only okay. Shower always leaked a lot of water. White towels sometimes had dark marks on them when they were supposed to be clean. No place to hang hand towels, except the clothes line in the bathroom. The washer/dryer combo available for shared use did not always dry well. There was a nice steamer available for use. Convenient location near 7-11, off the main road so quieter but lacking real sidewalks. Great A/C and very friendly staff.

Conveniently located in an upcoming area, the hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Daan MRT. Take exit 6 and a right at the shabu shabu restaurant. They offer a superb breakfast at their restaurant and a free mini-bar. However, its their staff which makes this hotel shine. They were all intelligent and hard working individuals.

Very modern room, comfortable bed and even some free goodies if you get snackish. The breakfast is made-to-order from a small but tasty menu along with some of the standard breakfast fare. Location is off the main roads but easily within walking distance of the MRT. Staff was helpful and friendly. I will most likely stay there again on my next visit!

Nice boutique hotel in a great location in Taipei

We enjoyed one night during a 22 hour layover on our way home from Bali. We arrived after 10pm and found many great restaurants still open within a block. While our room was small, it had the twin beds we specified and a small desk. There were three huge windows with great views of the city and with the touch of a button, the blinds opened and closed. We even enjoyed the high tech toilet! The breakfast was included and had lots of nice options.

It was very nice. The photos online accurately reflected the actual room. It was spacious, bright and comfortable. Loved the complimentary beverages and snacks. Loved the well-designed toiletries. Loved the soaking tub and bath salts. The only thing that bothered me was that the soaking tub had mildly yellow water stains, so I had to clean it off myself before soaking.

Those who are ACD will love this hotel, it is sheer design perfection. Everything has a place and the design is impeccable. I have stayed at 6 star hotels that were not as well designed and organized as this hotel. Not a chain hotel sondo not expect that. But truely one of my all time favorites and if I returned to Taipei I would not consider any other place even for a cheaper price. Well done SWIIO.

Room is great. It looks exactly the same as its photos. One of our rooms is a corner room, which - personally - I find that room more spacious and nicer to stay in. The other room (not the corner room) is weird in its design: the bathtub is only half in size (when compared to the other corner room) and it seems like there is a missing door for the shower side (i.e. the water from the shower will be all over the place when you do your shower).

Breakfast:
Breakfast is included for this hotel. It includes a main course which you can order from, as well as a mini-buffet (serving food like light salad, taiwanese congee, bread and cereal). Main course is horrible. Food look nice, but taste mediocre. The bacon was too thickly cut while my eggs were burnt.

Service:
Perhaps we had high hopes about the service due to some of the good reviews from Expedia, but I must say the service is TERRIBLE. The female staff who handled our check-in was very nice. But the other staff were awful: We sought help from the front desk in order to contact some shops in Taiwan and the staff were unwilling to and gave us the cant be bothered face. Definitely room for improvement - considering the price was actually not that cheap. I can book a branded hotel with a slight amount of add-on.

New Pleasant Hotel

Very good hotel in the price range. Pluses: All the hotel staff were pleasant, polite and very helpful. Great location with lots of local eateries and convenient stores near by, 5 minute walk to the MRT . Thoughtful amenities provided in the room. Good clean design with white vertical and horizontal surfaces accented with light wood. Minor inconveniences: Reception is very cramped, without a place to sit in the lobby, although a bench is provided directly outside, during inclement weather, it can be challenging. Water leaks out on to the floor from shower stall, although it is normal in Asia to have wet floors in the bathroom, stepping on wet floor mat is not ideal. All in all a pleasant stay.
