Great breakfast and good location. Some of the staff are very good but some were not so nice, unfortunately. We used to stay with Les Suites almost 20 years ago for work and for leisure, we had enjoyed our stay. This time we were quite disappointed. The hotel needs serious renovation, it is very run down. Our room couldn't lock when we left the room, the water tap was dripping and the tv signal were out a few times. We did get a very good price though.

We were loved this boutique hotel in a great area in Taipei. We stayed here 3 nights of our 14 nights in Taiwan. The other nights were in 5 star hotels but we enjoyed the smaller, more personal feel of this hotel. Breakfast was amazing. Delicious, high quality food. A lot of variety even though it wasn't one of the endless buffets at larger hotels. Front desk helped with directions, taxis, sightseeing recommendations, etc. The rooms had everything we needed, a bit smaller than the 5 star, but still roomy. The bathroom was terrific. Great value for great stay. Also, the other couple we were with were vegans and they were thrilled with the food and the care the staff took with their dietary needs.

Nice little boutique style hotel in the Da’an district in Taipei.

The room is pretty standard - comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The included breakfast buffet was nice - slightly different offerings every day we were there.

Fantastic location. The area is very walkable - small shops up Da’an Rd. Even more shops, restaurants and department stores on Zhongxiao East Road (the MTR blue line station is on this road also). About a 20 minute walk to the Xinyi district (Taipei 101 and even more department stores and malls)

Very friendly, helpful staff. Very clean hotel with fresh creative displays each day. Love the fresh fruit and bottled water each day in the room. No room service menu, but great breakfast, tea and biscuits in the afternoon and happy hour (cheese, crackers and wine) every day. This hotel is also very close to an MRT station and great shopping.

The location of the hotel is good and the staff was friendly. However, the hotel is old and needs an update. The wall paper in the room curled up, the furniture is really old and dated. There is no gym or business center at the hotel. Not sure why the hotel is names business hotel (in Chinese). The Gold status of Expedia doesn’t mean anything at this hotel.

Although the location is about a 10 minute walk from the closest MRT stop, there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean, comfortable, and modern - all you need when you’re away from home! I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We lived in Taipei for two years in 1997 & later in 2009. We picked the hotel for the convince of the MRT. Plus, we knew the area — SOGO basement’s grocery store & food court for albeit pricey, wonderful deli & bakery treats for dining in our room.

All of the staff communicated quite well with non-mandarin speakers & helped with various special requests.

I rarely rate & review, but this hotel was perfect.

The stay was excellent, the staff was helpful and courteous. The room was a decent size, furniture a bit retro and conveniently located to MRT within a 10 - 15 minute walk. The hotel offers a free breakfast which is a nice addition to our stay.

We had accidently left the door open without realizing it and staff took it serious incase something else had happened so I really appreciate them for consideration and willingness to figure out what had happen. This hotel is disgustingly unkept. Our first room had no heat, smelled of mold and cigarettes, surface areas uncleaned, garbage in room from past guest, and the front door was unsecured. This is a two star property at best. They need a renovation but first a deep cleaning. Gross!

Excellent location, very good service from front office staffs and employees in the breakfast location. Breakfast selections also very good.

Improvement opportunities in the bathroom though. Small matters but can make a big difference.
1. No handle in the bath tub, can be dangerous for old people
2. Water flow is not consistent between hot and cold. Can be surprisingly hotter then cold again
3. Poor Maintenance of the faucet in the wash basin. It is not working well and will leak water, cannot be easily be closed.
4. Bath tub drain stopper not working well and water is not draining fast enough. Dangerous to get out from the tub for old ppl with no handle and water pool in the tub.
5. Low battery in safe deposit box - again, simple maintenance but overlooked.
6. Bathroom amenities in disposable plastic containers - not so green after all, not to mentioned 4 disposable plastic water bottle for the guests daily.

The property can improve their hotel maintenance and approach to sustainability.

This is the first time in my life that I feel compelled to leave negative feedback after traveling to multiple countries.

On the first day of my arrival, while I was in the midst of changing my clothes, a hotel staff member entered my room using a master key without knocking. I was utterly shocked.

The staff member left immediately, but no apology was offered until I called the reception about 30 minutes later. The gentleman I spoke with over the phone showed no sympathy, making me question whether I was speaking to an answering machine rather than a real person.

I stayed for one night and subsequently canceled all my remaining reservations, as I could not imagine staying at a property that treats its guests in this manner.

People make mistakes, and I understand that. However, the lack of effort to remedy the situation has ensured that I will never use this property again.

In conclusion, if nothing goes wrong, this might be a place with a reasonable price tag. Otherwise, you are entirely on your own.

This is our second time staying at Les Suites Da An. We returned after a year and are very happy with their warm and efficient service. Ms Lin from the reception in particular has been very helpful to us, making us feel like home. Room is clean and breakfast is sumptuous and good quality. The hotel was nice and elegant, if a bit dated and slightly worn around the edges. It felt like an incredibly luxurious hotel in the 90’s. The staff were impeccably attentive and helpful. The breakfast was smaller, but fairly nice. Our only problem was that it was cold in our room and we couldn’t get the thermostat to heat it any higher.

Hotel is about 10 mins walk from the nearest train station and I think it is not too far.

Breakfast was simple but the dishes are all well flavoured and delicious.

Staff at the front desk and breakfast area are all very mannered and very helpful.

If the shower stalls comes with a handheld shower head, it will be very nice.

This was my 1st stay at Les Suite Taipei Da An, and it was more than expected. The staff was very professional, kind and courteous. The location was also great, close to MRT and very walk-able.

Stayed for 6 nights, and the first 3 was for work and the remainder my family joined me and they have a great time.

Room had everything I needed and was very clean. This is going to be my default location for future business trips.
