I like the location. My room is a bit dark (no window in the living room) but it’s still comfortable. Gym is very small and hot, and sauna is closed during the summer.
Overall I recommend this 4-star hotel for its price range. I would stay here again if its price stays competitive compared to 5-star hotels.

The location is fantastic. Very convenient for food and transit. I really enjoyed the walk around the neighborhood - found a self-service laundromat doing my own laundry. The short walk to the subway led me a few trips to different area s of the city. Not far from Taipei 101 and other tourist attractions. Definitely a good hotel to stay and play.

We had a very comfortable stay at arTree hotel. Although slightly out of the centre of Taipei, it is a short walk to the MRT station and has a fantastic choice of casual eating options, as well as a small market nearby. The room was spotless, large, well equipped and even had complimentary drinks and snacks. Staff were very friendly and are around at all hours, so we were able to check out in the early hours for a morning flight. Would highly recommend.

Probably one of the coolest hotels which is like the \"inside of a tree\" that's pat of a giant rainforest, and each room is designed so uniquely that you're living in one of the branches - pretty freakin' cool. Would stay again especially since it's in the middle of downtown a decent walk or short drive away to Taipei 101 or Raohe street market.

Great Hotel and Nice Experience

Great Hotel located in local area where you can easily find lots of local food. The hotel is located above a market but not to worry as the entrance are on different side of the street. You can find nice delicious local fruits in the market. Most of the furnitures and design are based on concept of \"Tree\" which is unique.

The hotel room is spacious and I can see Taipei 101 from bathroom. Room is very clean and tidy.
One small feedback is that the towels had a little \"smell\" and could be from the laundry detergent. Will be perfect if the hotel can address this.

Breakfast selection and spread may not be wide but its decent for me and family.

Overall great experience and stay in arTree Hotel.

Enjoyed the stay in a spacious room with a stunning view from the bath. Only giving 4 stars as body lotion wasn’t provided and bathtub towel wasn’t provided after room service.
The tv remote wasn’t working properly but the staff were quick to assist and resolve.
Pros - close proximity to mrt, spacious room, quick service, washing line provided.

Cons - hotel slippers weren’t replaced daily like some of the other places I’ve stayed at. Body lotion and conditioner not provided. Other amenities (razor, shower cap) need to be purchased at an additional cost of NT$100.

The hotel is situated in a busy commercial/residential. The location is very convenient - eateries, coffee shop, convenience store, transportation, all conveniently close. The hotel lobby is on the 4th floor and it is a bit strange that there was a neighbourhood wet market beneath the hotel (on the ground floor, around the back) but it did not affect my use of the hotel. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated. Provided complimentary coffee, tea and drinks in the fridge. The room was large. Free-standing bath tub and separate shower. Japanese bidet. Very nice bed. All in all, very satisfactory. Staff was helpful.

I booked the deluxe double room and was pleased with the large spacious room. In addition to a shower, the room has a separate bathtub by the window. Hotel staff is very friendly. I was able to leave my luggage with the front desk after I checked out so that I could explore the city before my flight. The hotel breakfast buffet offers a good selection of local and western food. However, I found other places for Chinese breakfast (buns and soy milk) near the hotel. For those who enjoy exploring local cuisine, I do not recommend pre-paying for the hotel breakfast.

This is rated as a 3 star but in my eyes it’s a 5 star . Better than many nice vegas hotels I’ve stayed in . The entire hotel has a very tranquil forest vibe , decor is beautiful everywhere . We stayed for 5 nights and the staff was incredibly thoughtful , helpful. The doorman was helping us catch taxis . The maid was very considerate .The location is prime , open produce market nearby , food court right on the side of the building . All kinds of convenience stores , well known eats nearby. A couple blocks away from a major metro station . The room itself was filled with the best amenities , drinks and snacks for free .a nespresso machine. A fridge — many nice vegas hotels are missing this and charging for hot water so the fact that this hotel can provide all of that in such a paradise of a place is amazing . I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough .this was my first time staying at a hotel in Taiwan and I couldn’t have been more satisfied
** the only thing I can say is that the hot springs is not free , it’s a spa type service you have to pay for

There is no room service for food, during Typhoon we are advised not to go out, so i had to go 7-11 to stock up since the hotel does not have restaurant.

There is no spa available at that time during to renovation.

We arrived straight from the airport at 2pm and were disappointed that our room was not available, a little inconvenient given 2 tired kids at hand. Understandably, official check-in time is at 4pm but most other hotels would be able to accomodate given there are rooms that get cleaned first. Anyways, I also chose this hotel because its relatively new and its design looked very stylish on the website. But I was very disappointed. Our room already looked worn with severe stains on the beige carpet and mildew stains around shower doors, etc, and the towels were already \"off white\" and rough. I was told they get a lot of tour groups which perhaps explains then speedy wear and tear.

I recently stayed at this superb hotel in Taipei, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the incredibly friendly and lovely staff who always acknowledged me when passing by. Their warmth and attentiveness truly elevated the entire experience, making me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk from a green line MRT station, making it easy to access all of Taipei's attractions. Despite being in the center of Taipei, it's surprisingly peaceful at night, allowing for a restful stay.

The room itself was spacious with an amazing view of Taipei 101, and the design was impeccable. The free mini bar and tea/coffee amenities were a nice touch, adding to the overall comfort of the room. Additionally, the seating area on level 4 provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It's not just a place to stay; it has a great design and soul, thanks in large part to its wonderful staff. I'll definitely be back for my next stay!

Gorgeous hotel with unique interior design. Very zen with impressive attention to details, including relaxing music playing in the common areas and a lush, green patio. Similar to W Hotel but at a fraction of the price.

I don’t understand how this is a three star hotel, it’s easily 4 stars. The rooms are large and bathrooms modern, spotlessly clean. The private onsen hot springs spa was a small extra charge but worth it for the experience.

One minor downside is the sound insulation could be improved. I could hear neighbors and cleaning staff outside the door, which woke me up in the morning. The curtain separating the bathroom from the bed needs to be switched to blackout, it lets some sunlight in. One of the front desk staff doesn’t speak English but most of the rest do. Service is excellent.

Highly recommended! The surrounding area also has a ton of food options and is close to the MRT station.

I liked the ease of transportation and food places around the hotel. There is little privacy with the shower and toilet as the doors are glass. There is a curtain that separates but it does not help with noise. The bath is quite wonderful along with air conditioning.

Breakfast is not always included and not worth paying for. The spread was not much for being charged $20 per person.

We were there during a big earthquake and felt cared for. They were quick and able to assist.

The hot spring is lovely. It has two tubs, a shower, and a toilet. Worth going into.

This is our 4th stay, so it’s good. The room is spacious, super convenient and comfortable. The one and only downside is their plumbing. Doesn’t matter which room one occupies , the flushing , shower or bath filling and emptying resonates to your room which isn’t comfortable for a good sleep.
Still, we select this as our place to stay for every trip.

Stayed a few nights on a girls trip (3 ladies). Nice clean comfortable room and bed. The bedroom and bath area is separated only by a curtain. There is a full glass shower cubicle and a full glass toilet - both are facing the double vanity mirror. There is also a standalone bathtub in the open. Might not be suitable if you are shy :)

We stayed here on our last day in Taiwan and the experience was wonderful. The whole hotel was beautifully decorated and the hotel staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. At breakfast, the host even went out of his way to bring Taiwanese breakfast specialties to our table. Our room was modern and spacious with a shower, soaking tub, bidet toilet, and double vanity. We were provided complimentary drinks and snacks and the room included a capsule espresso machine and hot water kettle. The parking garage underneath was very convenient and the hotel is located very close to the MRT.

All the staff are extra helpful and service oriented.

You can walk to the nearest train station (Taipei Arena) within 5 min. You can also reach the main shopping area (Eastern Taipei streets) in about 10-15 min.

There’s plenty of local eateries around the hotel

Airport is approx 40/45 min to the hotel. The hotel staff can help to arrange a taxi for you upon departure at a fixed rate of TWD1300

It is insanely gorgeous, the hotel’s design is like that of a 5-star hotel. Throughout our stay it was very quiet and the staff were very kind and helpful. For its price, it is a total steal. There is a 7 Eleven right in front of it and around the corner is a fruit market. It is very close to nice cafes and restaurants. If you are a big gym person the gym isn’t like a full out gym as it only has a couple treadmills, a rowing machine, an elliptical, and stationary bikes.
