We enjoyed staying in this older hotel.
We stayed here for 5 days on our visit inTaipei. This is an older but once Very Very fancy hotel and it showing it's age. Can use some up dating and upgrade. Comfortable king size bed. Location is awesome , only 2 blocks from the MRT and the Raohe night market. Room is spacious and we can see the Taipei 101 from our windows. Can't take a picture of the 101 because the windows hasn't been washed
for many years. (Especially the outer layer.) Staffs were very friendly and helpful. It deserved a 3 stars rating but have to added one more stars for its convenience location.

Great staff to compensate for some shortcomings
I am a frequent business traveler to Taipei and here are my honest thoughts after staying at least 30+ different hotels in Taipei.
1) Staff is excellent - everyone of them! They are very polite, professional and helpful. I think they know the issues with the hotel and tries the best to offset that with kindness and I do appreciate that. The staff is the star here - no doubt about it.
2) This hotel's physical condition and hard products are not top notch. I was given a room initially that had a musky smell. I raised the concern and due to my long stay, they swapped me to a different room and it was much better.
3) There is a free Nescafe hot beverage station, frig full of chilled drinks and water, and baskets of snacks available for guests to enjoy. It's a great perk to have - I liked it more than I thought I would.
4) Public area, room and furnishing are dated but they do try to keep is as clean as possible. However, the limited wall power outlet is concerning for a business traveler like myself. The entire room has only 2 outlets for guest use and they are in the oddest location. I had to bring 2 extension cords from my office to keep my electronic devices running.
5) In room coffee/tea packs and water are replenished every day. The shampoo are body wash are really good - one of the best in Taipei. They have refreshing tea smell and moisturizing as well. Heck, event the soap is really good...

Most of the sraffs were friendly except for one lady who brought room for missing shampoo and liquid soap. Carpet on the corridor looks old and producing unhealthy mold, or fungus smell bad which was not exciting. Bedding, water pressure were excellent that made me good n8ght sleep and location of the business is so good within foot distance to MRT subway station.

Most of the things are good. Very close to Raohe Street night market. The front desk guys are very nice and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. The only thing not satisfactory is the breakfast. Instead of buffet breakfast, the hotel provided boxed food which is hard to eat.

Charming City Sungshan Hotel is in a great location, Taipei MRT, Raohe Night Market, Songshan Train Station are all within 5 mins walking distance. The room is clean and quiet, breakfast is OK, lobby is small, no gym. It's a good choice for the price we paid.

The location is excellent, the room however hadn't been cleaned as there was still hair from the previous guest and dirt left on the floor. The views are nice but I wouldnt recommend staying here unless you absolutely have to.

Staffs are very friendly n helpful. Rooms are big n comfortable. Location is just beside night market but far enough to not be affected by the sound n crowd. 10 mins walk to the nearest mrt station. Only drawback is, it is located at the last station of the mrt line n quite a few stops away from the central area

We booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child for 4 nights. Our stay was spoiled by one event otherwise a very good stay at this hotel !
One evening one of the staff at the front desk said the room we were in was a double room so we needed to pay extra for the child NT 1500 for three nights. I told them my booking was for a room for 2 adults and a child, it should already be included in my rates and asked them to check again. The night before we due to check out, we had a call from the front desk demanding us to come down to settle the extra charges immediately. It was 23:30 and we were ready for bed, we told them we would sort it out in the morning when we check out and hanged up the phone. They called again, so we hanged up again and took the phone off the hook. 10 minutes later, we heard someone at our door ringing the door bell, we knew it was the hotel staff from the front desk. We did not answer the door as we did not want to start the discussion so late in the corridor, they kept on ringing the bell and banging the door 5 minutes a time for 4 times over 35 minutes period. By the time, they stopped, it was 00:20 in the morning.
Next morning, they re-stated their position, now totaling NT 2000 and threatened to call the police if we did not pay up. To cut a long heated story short, I told them they should contact Expedia to sort out the charges directly not demanding from us. In the end, they did contact Expedia which told us to pay up and reimbursed us later.

在入住前就有先查看google評論，提及松山站飯店設施比較老舊，也有做好可能會過敏的心理準備。但沒想到房內有提供具空氣清淨效果的除濕機！所以在住期間都關掉冷氣並開著過濾，沒有過敏情形真是太好了～
而我很幸運地入住到邊間，發現衛浴空間非常寬敞！洗澡時熱水也是穩定有力的、設施提供的洗沐品牌也剛好是用過的上山採藥，很棒。
雙人床的軟硬度適中，發現枕頭有鵝毛枕與棉花枕兩種！可以選擇習慣的來躺，這一晚睡的蠻好的。

在入住前就有先查看google評論，提及松山站飯店設施比較老舊，也有做好可能會過敏的心理準備。但沒想到房內有提供具空氣清淨效果的除濕機！所以在住期間都關掉冷氣並開著過濾，沒有過敏情形真是太好了～
而我很幸運地入住到邊間，發現衛浴空間非常寬敞！洗澡時熱水也是穩定有力的、設施提供的洗沐品牌也剛好是用過的上山採藥，很棒。
雙人床的軟硬度適中，發現枕頭有鵝毛枕與棉花枕兩種！可以選擇習慣的來躺，這一晚睡的蠻好的。

走路到饒河夜市約5分鐘，非常近，飯店有免費的機械式停車位（最好事先詢問是否有空位並告知車子的高度），櫃檯人員非常客氣，飯店雖然感覺有點年份，但房內的擺設竟有來到歐洲老城內飯店的感覺，個人覺得蠻喜歡，浴室內有個蠻大的按摩浴缸，只不過當天沒有使用。住宿價格也很平實，整體感覺蠻優的，真心推薦給想逛饒河夜市的旅客來此住宿。

Cet hôtel devait être excellent il y a quelques dizaines d'années, seulement le manque d'entretien est évident. Tout sent le vieux, les équipements sont très anciens, le ménage n'est pas fait correctement. Il n'y a pas de prises au chevet, l'un des prises au mur était démontée. Ce dernier point est alarmant pour la sécurité des clients.
La baignoire est si vieille qu'elle ne donne pas envie d'y toucher. Enfin, l'isolation phonique est à revoir : la fenêtre était abîmée et nous pouvions entendre tout ce qu'il se passait dehors.

12月31に101のカウントダウン花火観賞のために宿泊しました。松山駅から徒歩7.8分くらいでした。200メートル歩けば有名な夜市もあります。ホテル、部屋共にカビ臭いと感じました。老朽化してるせいか昭和のラブホっぽかったです(笑) フルーツも３種類置いてありましたがナイフも皿もなく、どうやって食べるのでしょうか？食べませんでしたが(笑) バスタブのすぐ隣に便座があり、シャワーの場所も使い勝手が悪かったです。部屋は7階で101の花火を北側(メイン)から観れて良かったです。でもこの時期だから仕方ないが

一開始告知沒有附早餐有點失望，因為智遊網頁面上面是有的，而到了現場卻被告知沒有，我不知道到底是智遊網還是飯店的問題? 但如果是以這價錢卻沒有附上早餐的話，那我會寧願去住汽車旅館，而非來這住，雖然晚班櫃檯服務人員勉為其難的答應了我們，但這種感覺就很像是我們坳來的的樣子，感覺不是很舒服，其他都還好，櫃檯們都非常的有禮貌也很有耐心，但就是這些小問題稍微有點不舒服而已，房間也很乾淨，除了化妝燈關掉後還會一閃一閃的，其他都還算OK囉!

いつもは忠孝復興駅のDejavuホテルに泊まるのですが、少し値段が安かったので、系列のこちらのホテルに泊ってみることにしました。サービスなどはほぼ同じですが、朝食の品数はDejavuの方が多いです。
饒河觀光夜市の近くですが、夜は静かです。台鉄の松山駅やMRT松山駅に近く、どこに行くにも便利でした。101のある信義地区にはバスがたくさん出ているし頑張れば徒歩でも行けます(30分)。
たまには違うところに滞在してみたい時にはオススメです。
