My husband and I like this hotel due to it's location, good size room and cleaness. there are some minor issues like soundproofing (we could hear the foot steps above us and in the hall way, wifi was slow at time especially at night. The staffs were friendly and the breakfast was good.

My stay at NK Hostel was EXCELLENT. The place is old but well kept. All staff i interacted with was very professional. A/C was on in all areas as the outside temperature was 30C. I stayed in a double bedroom for a week. The hostel has friendly staff and offers a good breakfast along with a 24-hour help desk. However, it is about an 8-minute walk from the nearest subway station. The room was nice, but the building’s exterior is old and dated. Overall, I recommend and will stay in NK Hostel again.

The staff (Ian) was great. View was fantastic. The only thing we didn’t like about the place is the floor we're in (15th floor) smelled like sewage. Once you enter the hall you'll be welcomed with the strong smell of sewage. Apart from that the place was good value for money if you're ok with the smell.

Great hostel. Loved the family room we had.

Great reception area, common area on each floor, shared bathrooms and showers were clean and felt safe. Appreciated breakfast in the morning with good coffee.

The one thing I would say is that the entrance to the building and the elevator definitely need attention. It gives a pretty dive-y first impression to an otherwise great experience.

This is a great hostel! ------------
There is good privacy in the bathrooms. Even on mixed gender floor, there are separate bathroom/shower for women and men.
Each shower stall has a small foyer area where you can keep your change of clothes dry while you shower. -----------------
Each person gets a large locker that comfortably fit my hiking backpack and that has outlets *inside* the locker so you can charge things while away. -------------
The beds, which still use a curtain to close, are very private and super comfortable. Each bed is in essentially a small wooden box with one side closed via curtain. I could comfortable sit criss-cross on the bed. There is a little lamp. I really felt safe and relaxed. -------------- Breakfast is scrumptious and there are many options. -------- There is a washer and dryer. ---------

Very clean and wonderful breakfast. Showers and bathroom are were spacious.

The only major complaint I have is that i paid for a 4-female dormitory and was expecting to have a separate room apart from everyone else. But, there were 14 bunks all together in one room and was slightly segregated from one another--still in the same room. I felt duped but also my responsibility as I should have done more research before booking. I probably won't be booking that same room because of that and would upgrade to a private room.

Loved my 2 night stay, I was in Taiwan for three days. Other than the location being right next door to an adult shop and in front of an overpass I don’t have any complaints. Easy 10-15 min walk to local night market. The hostel is located in a building mixed with other business and what seems to be apartments? My only suggestion is a sign closer to the elevator indicating check in for hostel is on the 5th floor. Inside the hostel was very clean, well kept and maintained quiet hours.

Hotel is very clean with good breakfast. But no in room coffee if you like a cup of coffee in your room. Great wifi for remotely working. Hotel is located 15-20 minutes walk to RaoHe night market if you love street food, but not too many other options or good sit in restaurants around. It is also located at almost equally between two subway stations, so it takes 10-15 minutes walk to access, not the most convenient. There is an adult shop next door so be aware if you are traveling with young kids. I would say it is a good hotel for 2-3 days stay, but not any time longer. With the rate, there are other options in the city that I would prefer to stay for a whole week.

The breakfast was good every day. I liked that in the dorms everyone has their own locker. I didn’t like that my friend got bitten by some kind of bugs every night we were there; it was really bad and they refused to change her sheets! It seems like they hadn’t washed them and that was probably one reason she was being eaten alive. I also didn’t like that the restrooms are on one side of the building and the showers on the other, that’s just inconvenient.

It has been a very nice stay with spacious setups in the shared room we had.

The bed itself has an extra spacing area along with the locker space, is a very nice touch for us travellers that may need more than just a bed.

The showers and toilets are clean.

And the stay also included breakfast which is also very nice!

The location is close to a night market, which is great for any midnight snacks.

The photos of the rooms do not do them justice. My room was super cute and had everything you could need. It's right next to the regular train station and there is a shopping mall 3 minutes away. Most of the city's attractions are a bit further but you can catch buses near by to anywhere you want to go.

其實真的真的很吵
到了晚上在房間裡面大家說話還是很大聲

印象最深刻的是
我把臟衣服拿去洗的時候
明明已經在洗衣機的白板上寫了床號和名字（白板的用途就是為了給下一位使用者知道這批是誰的衣物，以方便通知衣服已洗好不是嗎）
而且我也沒有洗很久..
一小時還不到，當我要把衣服拿到烘乾機時
我的衣服竟然已經被其中一位學生扔出來!
我的內衣內褲都赤裸裸的被扔到一邊
重點我的洗衣袋在旁邊
也不至少幫我把我乾淨洗好的衣物放進袋子裡
我真的覺得這位同學很沒禮貌

如果希望可以有自己稍微安靜的空間
建議大家還是選擇訂私人套房

也很乾淨

So I picked this as the photo was misleading showing a single bed. However it was a all female dorm with 14 beds and they had even converted the changing and ironing room to a cubicle/bed!!!

It was peak season post Christmas through new year. Even though I phoned within cancellations window to request for a free upgrade for 3 nights i was out in tour (as well as stated in writing); as well as to request a shuttle pick up. Nobody got back to me in writing.

They were also not forthcoming about offering a change of sheets and towels with no charge even though u had booked to stay for 9 nights. Only when I had asked them
A third time did they reply in writing that it was OK as i was staying more than 8 nights. Every little thing is chargeable.

The toilet is past the reception and breakfast area so rather inconvenient to get to in the middle of the night.

I would have rated NK 10 out of 5 if I could. Everything was much more beyond our expectations. My parents, my friend, her 6-year old girl, my 8-year old son and myself loved our stay and felt like home here. Their ideas and philosophy, considerate service, convenient facilities, and delicious breakfast are just perfect. They even arrange a temple trip for free on Sundays. I would highly recommend NK to everyone and will definitely come back next time when we travel to Taipei.

Arguably the best choice I could've made while in Taipei. I needed to find somewhere affordable to stay in a short space of time, and NK Hostel was perfect. At USD$70 for 4 nights, I honestly didn't think I was going to get as much as I did. My flight came in earlier than expected, and for NT$100, I was able to check in early and get some much needed sleep. I stayed in the cubes (the cheapest option). They may look small, but are pretty roomy and fit one person perfectly. There's also secure storage for your belongings while you're out, if security is your concern. The continental breakfast is hearty, filling, and DELICIOUS. Any issue I had, the staff was able to accommodate and we're consistently pleasnt throughout my stay. Also, there's great food within a short walking distance. All in all, if you're traveling on a budget NK Hostel is a GREAT option.

Great stay!

Super happy with my room this time, 1508. The bathroom wasn't leaking like 1503. It has a different view from the window and it was great too! Beds were comfortable and I slept soundly! The free breakfast was good and they do have slight variety instead of having the same food every day. There are provision shops and dinging places nearby and a 7-11 across the road. MRT is some 8 mins stroll away and there's no lack of taxis at this junction.

It's not my first time to NK hostel but my first time trying the room category. The room given to me this time was 1503 and i was happy with it overall. It is clean and comfortable. The only regret was the bathroom seems to be leaking somewhere. There will be a puddle of water on the floor after shower even though the bath stall doors were closed properly. Room is big for two and the night view was superb. I can see Taipei 101 from the full stretch window the moment i stepped into the room.

An excellent hostel

It's a hostel with all you need, Toto electronic shower toilet, shower room with soap, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer; towels, hangers and tissues are available. I stayed in a female dormitory for 2 nights, an elongated room with over 12 (maybe 14 or 16, I didn't count) bedding spaces - double deck. It's more spacious than I expect, the bed was comfortable with thick mattress.
Unfortunately, the ventilation of the room was bad, the first morning I was wakened by a bad smell, of people (imagine over 12 people, the breathe and maybe some didn't take shower), which was disgusting. Second night was a bit better as the only window (locked and can be opened up to around 6 inches) in the room was opened until around midnight; since it was noisy outside, someone shut it off which is understandable. It's a choice between fresh air and quietness.

Very convenient. Next door serving one of the best ‘loo rou fan. 5 mins walk from the right to mrt and left to Raohe night market. Very generous of breakfast spread. The only problem is the odour in the toilets. Should need more ventilation to get rid of the odours. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Stayed for 5 nights. Location was great. Walkable to 2 mrt station n 1 train station. Also walkable to bus stop that have direct bus to Jiufen. Best part is it's only an 8 mins walk to Raohe night market. If you came back from Songshan mrt/ train station you can walk through it on the way back. Can also walk to Eslite Xinyi, ATT 4 FUN & 101. But no events for group socialising. Breakfast was really wonderful! Slight changes daily. Receptionist are fluent in english.

Cute boutique hotel and hostel in heart of Taipei

We stayed at the deluxe room with our own bathroom and a little terrace, it was awesome! Cute, sweet, boutique-hotel styled decor, and a very spacious room for the price. I especially loved the terrace with a view of the Taipei 101 building, the best place to have a coffee and get some work done on the computer.

The staff were very friendly, check-in was super efficient. They even had a little welcome party every saturday night with live music and beers! Breakfast was included, it was very homey style Taiwanese breakfast, and we felt a strong bond between all residences because we wash our own dishes.

Although the hotel was situated in a commercial building, we felt safe because the elevator can only be activated with room key card. The only thing to complain was that the location was right in between two metro stations, so there's a 10min walk from either Songsan station or Nanjing Sanmin station. But we were fully aware of that and if you walk from Songsan station, you can pass by the famous night market every night!

All in all, we loved it and will definitely go back again for our next trip to Taipei.

I stayed at NK Hostel for a week and I was very satisfied. The pods were spacious and comfortable. The personal lockable storage was a good size and easy to use (although the larger luggages had to be stored outside the lockers). The shared space was cozy. The breakfast had the basics like coffee, juice, bread, salad, eggs (boiled) and some soups/dumplings/etc that changed every day. The staff was very kind and spoke good English. They were very helpful with my luggage which arrived late. Only minus was that the toilets are far from the sleeping space.

Gemensamma utrymmen är fina och personal är hjälpsam. Säng är bekväm. Trevligt med enkel frukost som ingår i priset.

Men rummet med 12 dubbelsängar är trångt och har jämt dålig fuktig lukt. Med tanken att rummet kan husera 24 personer max finns så är bagageutrymmena redan väldigt begränsade. Och under vistelsen har ytterligare gäster checkats in på bagagerummet i det 12-bäddsrummet och samtliga våra väskor blir flyttade till redan trång korridor framför sängarna utan förvarning. En skylt har satts upp på bagagerummets dörr efter extra gäster checkats in, antar att det är inte första gång detta har hänt. Om det är fallet skulle jag inte våga boka detta ställe igen eftersom risken finns för dubbelbokning och att få bagagerummet istället.

Rekommenderar ej pga risken ovan och det höga pris mot det boendekvalitet man får.

口コミどおり星５つの宿泊施設でした。選んで間違いはありません。やや、最寄り駅から遠いのとシャワーの使い方にコツがあるところが気になりました。でも、繰り返しですがおすすめできる宿泊施設です。

台北の中心部から離れているがローカルな一面が垣間見れて楽しかった！ドミトリーに泊まったがベッドも広くこれまでに泊まった中で一番良くラウンジも含め息苦しさを一切感じず。小中高の合宿利用が多く自分の合宿の記憶とダブり懐かしい気持ちになった！マナー良く夜は静かに休め、シャワーや洗面台は清潔に保たれていた。スタッフもフレンドリーで親切。徒歩圏内に食べ物屋、コンビニ、夜市もあり便利。朝食も質素だが粥、パン、サラダ、ドリンクがあり美味しかった。次回もぜひ利用したい！

以價格來說，是很不錯的青旅，非常推薦！

櫃檯24小時，半夜入住也沒問題，當天剛好遇到團體入住，很晚還有很多人在公共區域活動，所以氣氛不像半夜安靜沒人的感覺，五樓的女生房間是14個床位，工作人員沒有排滿，很多上鋪是空的，這點很不錯。
隔音無法要求，有一個打呼全部人都聽得到，儘管床位的簾子可以阻擋一些聲音，畢竟不是完全阻隔的密閉空間，所以要求安靜的就不要選擇多人房型！
床位不確定是因為最裡面的關係還是本身設計，睡覺其實滿悶的，整晚沒睡好，床頭有一個像公車冷氣的出風口。
洗澡的空間算乾淨，在房間外面，裡面有三間淋浴間水壓很強和兩個洗手台、兩台吹風機，是好用的👍不是要大拇指一直壓著才有風的那種討厭吹風機。廁所在大樓電梯旁邊，只睡一晚不影響使用。
早餐⋯就非常普通，不要期待，沒有照片那麼豐富，稀飯+罐頭配料、吐司+抹醬、超級簡單的沙拉、炸煎餃、果汁豆漿黑咖啡、超級難剝殼的水煮蛋

台北中心部から離れていてアクセスがやや不便でしたが、朝食付きのドミトリー形式、共用トイレ、シャワー、中央部に自炊可能なキッチンと快適ラウンジが有って、宿泊中は快適に過ごせた。近くにナイトマーケット（松山駅方面にかけて）が徒歩圏内に有るので、夜市エリアで買い物、食事するのがオススメです。

Only if you are a backpacker

It basically is a hostel located in an old office building (occupying a few floor). There is nothing but garages in the area. Walking to 101 takes about 30 mins on some deserted streets. There is no point renting a room here. The place maybe good for backpackers, but not travelers looking for comfort and convenience. With the same room price there are many more sensible choices in the city.
