However, the service was not good. Before our trip, I tried sending messages (thru Hotels.com messaging and W Hotel email) that we needed airport transfer. I also replied to their email that we’ll be at the hotel by 2pm. But I didn’t get any response.
Second, upon check-in (we arrived at the hotel at 3pm), one of our rooms was not yet ready. We were tired from our early flight and was expecting to rest upon checkin, but we were disappointed that one of our tooms was not yet ready. One female staff at the check-in counter was even rude about it.
I’ve been to many hotels around the world. Expensive hotels equals great service, but not W Taipei. Disappointing.

There was drilling, hammering and construction noise on all of 4 days of our stay. The drilling on our first evening for 45 minutes, and hammering noise every morning starting at 7:45 am. Then on our last day, we had a large water leak from the ceiling into the entry hallway to our room, leaving a huge puddle of water. I called the front desk and they immediately sent engineers to our room, followed by cleaning staff. Regarding the construction noise, the hotel tried to minimize after we called the front desk. They also provided some accomodations after we called the front desk, handling it satisfactorily. Service was excellent.

Amazing hotel in a great location! Definitely recommend getting a Taipei 101 view room for that iconic view. Hotel has an amazing pool area and the view from the breakfast restaurant at the top of the building is awesome. The location almost on top of the City Hall MRT station makes this a great place to get around the city from.

Five star hotel but one star service! W Taipei hotel locates in convenient location that is next to subway and bus station. However, the service was terrible. On the day of check-in, we waited for a hour but our luggages were not delivered to our room. We had to take them by ourselves. At the second day there was not room service. We needed to call to get clean towels. A bug was found on the desk. This hotel is not recommended.

Love the every detail of the design for the room. They are so functional. The location is really good as the hotel is close to the MRT station, bus stop, shopping mall, convenience store, coffee shop, etc.
The support from the staff really impressed us. All staff were very supportive and willing to help. The most surprising thing was that there was an engineer available at midnight to help us fix our luggage. Thank you so much!

First time staying at the W Taipei and stayed for 7 days. Vegas vibe, dark, modern, but a comfortable stay. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Food is slightly overpriced but other options are conveniently located within short walking distance (except alternative breakfast, which is hard to find unless you like breakfast at Starbucks) Location is highly convenient in a safe and clean neighborhood.

Overall the stay was excellent. We booked W Hotel to take our 9 month old baby to stay in Taipei and visit great grandma. Traveling with a baby is no easy task and we requested in advance for a crib, steam sanitizer, and a baby bathtub. All items were already in the room when we checked in.
During one of the nights, there was an event in the hotel which was loud enough that the baby was not able to sleep. After 20 mins of crying, we went to the front desk for assistance. The hotel manager and staff were able to to lend us another room for the event period that was quieter for our son to fall asleep. That was very nice of them!

The marvelous suite at the W hotel is great! It would be my ideal apartment in Taipei as it is spacious and has a great view. The design of the room feels modern and comfortable. It feels high class and less gaudy than some of the motel suites I have been too. The view of the pool and the city is excellent. Thank you for the free bottle of wine, brownies, happy hour, and breakfast! I also made use of the gym, pool, and sauna. These are all excellent facilities. All the staff were really friendly when checking in, checking out, or when asking a question.
