My room was on the 22nd floor..fabulous views, 2 big comfortable beds with comforters and good pillows, big walk in shower and a small tub, a magnifying mirror, hairdryer and new towels ever day. Very quiet, also. Lots of usb plugs and a big screen tv. Automatic shades and room darkener.

Can't remember how many times I stay in this hotel when I travel to Taipei. Excellent location, near bus terminal to Taoyuen Airport.

It’s an amazing and beautiful hotel, centrally located and close to shops, restaurants, mass transit and walking distance to 101 Taipei. Our room overlooked 101 Taipei, very clean with very modern amenities. The staff were fantastic, so pleasant, polite, extremely efficient and helpful. We don’t get this kind of treatment in any of the Hilton hotels in the U.S. My only comment is that we wish they serve regular menu for dinner and not just buffet. We ended up eating at the Bar restaurant for 2 nights. Buffet breakfast had large selections of foods and all were very good. Overall, we enjoyed and loved our stay and wish we stayed longer than 2 nights.

Loved the location of this hotel, for both first time visitors and those returning (we traveled with several family members). Service and staff were attentive. Entering into the breakfast area, the staff felt defensive as in they were really worried about who was coming in and whether we expected to pay for our breakfast.
The rooms were fine for a short stay but for a week long stay, the storage was pitiful. There were 6 hangers provided and 1/3 of the provided drawers had inserts making them unusable. As a result we had to have luggage set up on a stand outside of the closet/dressing area (the hotel's own luggage holder did not fit open in the closet much less any luggage) and half our clothes folded on the refrigerator/coffee maker or desk area area. It made it very difficult to live comfortably for 1 week.
Add to that difficult lighting and controls and that there are no outlets (not even USB) on either side of the bed and the stay was cumbersome and frustrating.
That said, the black out shades were fantastic and bathroom well-appointed. It was not a bad stay but there is room for improvement.

When I had trouble with electricity hookups, likely my fault, a maintenance engineer was there within a few minutes! Bell staff were very helpful arranging a city tour and taxis. Was very pleased with this stay. Location is very convenient as it’s close to the main shopping area and to Taipei 101. Breakfast was great and I loved the art in the lobby. Pool has great view (but remember to change in room). Did one dinner but honestly - food options in area are unbeatable so almost no reason to eat at hotel. Would love to go back sometime.

Corner room decor is thoughtful with plenty of built-in furniture surface area and lots of mirrors. Bathroom is also roomy. Staff are very polite and helpful. The 25m (?) long rooftop pool is breathtaking, relaxing and not crowded at all which i had the whole pool 2 times.

Good comforting best stay hotel
Nice hotel and comfortable. The location is an ideal as you can find many shopping and food around it. The subway is also within short walking distance and it just 4 station to Taipei train station where it connect the airport express train. The breakfast buffet spread to me is not excellent but ok for me for the price I paid. However, if it charge US50 per pax, I think you can get cheaper one from the nearby food court.
Hopefully they don’t increase the rate if more ppl staying.
Btw, the room equipped with a very good external speakers for the TV and it provide free movies channel.

Fantastic and comfortable stay. Humble House is in a great location with shopping and dining right outside your door. Area is near Taipei 101 and all the shopping malls and tons of food options. Two metro lines within a few blocks and only a few stops to the Taipei Main station. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful.

I brought my mother here with her friend for 10 days for her birthday. Some reviews made us nervous with regards to the professionalism of the staff, but I have to say our experience was the complete opposite of many of the bad reviews. Upon arrival, the staff was welcoming and inviting. They were also very accommodating. We had a 16 hour direct flight from NY and were offered early check-in and we were also given the option for late check out. Bonus points for us.
The front desk staff greeted us every single time they saw us and made sure to inquire if there was anything we needed. They were able to guide us with how to set up tours (tour booklet provided) and where the best points of interests would be. My mother's friend is Taiwanese, and she was highly impressed with the hotel staff. We had the deluxe twin room for my mom and myself. Admittedly, it was small. We had 2 large suitcases and 2 small carry-ons and could not have both large suitcases open at the same time. This was actually our only gripe about the room. We usually check for square footage but could not find any on the room we chose. The shower did have a musty/moldy odor, but it's a humid country. That's to be expected.
Our reservation came with breakfast. The choices were not extensive, however, everything was fresh and the options they did have were delicious. We are not rewards members but our treatmeant was 5 star!! Already looking to book our next trip at the hotel! 😁

The hotel is clean and beautiful inside and the location is amazing. Unfortunately the hotel had lots of minor issues that added up and made it hard to enjoy the stay. One of the main things was that there was no way to adjust the temperature in the room. While there was a thermostat in the room, when adjusting the temperature would never change from 24 degrees Celsius, which is much hotter then I’m accustomed to and made it difficult to sleep. I brought it up twice and they had maintenance and room service come check but said it’s a central air system that can’t deviate from that set temperature, not that the AC was broken in my room. Other small things like upon arrival the shower drain seemed clogged and water/soap would collect quickly when showering. For the price of the hotel and how it looks these are some things I didn’t expect to deal with. Best part about the hotel is the location, there are a million things to do within a 5 minute walk.

a lovely hotel . had a couple of issues in that when i arrived the room that was given to me was being sprayed for insects. when i showed them my room card they left and told me it was house cleaning , however once i was inside the room i started to get a headache and feel sick and you could smell the insect spray . i spoke to reception and they gave a couple of welcome drinks . strangely the welcome drinks only included juice , beer or tea coffee etc, not the cocktails we had assumed . the swimming pool is lovely however they need to replace the tiles that are falling off to maintain it . overall this is a lovely property which is very convenient for taipei 101, shops, and various sites . i would recommend this hotel

It was a beautiful room with a huge comfy bed, and nice (Japanese style) toilet and shower.
The room had a lovely view out to the south looking across the mountains and it had a easy to use, substantial pool with great views on the roof.
They also have a nice bar/restaurant with indoor and outdoor areas that had good food and attentive service.

Location - right next to the MRT. If you're traveling in Taipei USE the MRT. It's incredible. Coming from the US, I'm used to paying $10-15 to go anywhere. It's easy to use and so convenient when it's right there. The area around is also popping at night so you can go outside, grab some food nearby, etc.

It was also my birthday so they left me this cute little towel tower with a birthday hat. I didn't tell them but they noticed it on my passport
