Service good. Room clean and in nice condition and quiet and dark for sleeping. Outdoor patio was a nice, tranquil environment. Breakfast is not good. There were water leaks in the lobby and evidence of water damage in my room and the hallway. Acceptable as a single business traveler for the convenient location and price.

The location is very convenient from bus, train stations, e-bike, shopping centers and attraction is great!.

Staff are very helpful, kind and nice. I appreciate them so much.

Air condition was too cold, tried several times to adjusted it but it wont make any changes, maybe because it was already set as is.

Our bathroom doors height is not through celling or not close totally- only halfway if you’re staying with friends or family its not comfortable to do your “business” as they can hear it and eventually can smell it too its a very uncomfortable.
Hotel room are non smoking room but when we checked-in our room smells cigarette.

Upon reserving and checkin, we weren't informed that some other part of the hotel are under construction, my mom wasnt feeling well so we stayed in the room whole day and we cant rest properly due to construction noice, the drilling and hammering was too loud from 10am-5pm . Informed the Frontdesk about it and she only said the construction will end at 5pm.

We request an airport transfer it was very convenient as well and our driver was so nice.

Overall it was a perfect location for everything and good service.

First off, Staff are friendly and the location is great. The breakfast is basic and not worth bothering with. Room was quiet and clan. Room with a window looking out onto a basement wall. Having said that the hotel represented good value.

Hotel location was misleading. It’s actually across the street from Taipei 101, not at
The mall. Spent over 20 minutes 10pm at
Ight trying to find someone who knew its location. My flight was from US so lost a day so the front desk consider me a no show and deleted my reservation. Almost had to find another hotel by 11 pm. Breakfast was good however rooms where not clean ones to the standard of a normal hotel. Vents and furniture dusty. My door lock was not functioning so I had to be moved. I thinks is a great location however needs more full disclosures to manage expectations. Not many hotel options in the immediate area.

Tucked in the heart of Taipei via Xinyi district with a lovely terrace view filled with greens and outdoor seats that look up directly at the Taipei 101 tower. Adjacent to the terrace pass is the metro station. The interior was serene and modern. The hotel vibe is quiet with friendly staff. The stay sets a great juxtaposition with the bustling Taipei metropolis.

No heat, centrally controlled and they left it at 16 C which was too cold for my kid at night. No hot water the 2 nights i stayed, staff was nice enough to haul around buckets of hot water for guests, but come on, this is really how it is?

Terrible weekend trip

No hot water for our stay of 2 nights, they boiled pots of water to bring to each room. no fault of staff, but insane that they had no maintenance staff to fix issue. Heating is central, so your thermostat in the room doesn't do anything, it's controlled by central panel and they kept it at 16 degrees C, which was WAY TOO COLD for winter in taiwan.

The pictures on the website are misleading. There are no windows in any room of this hotel. All rooms are actually in basement so air is terrible.
Also the internet is very poor. I had to stay by the front desk in order to surf online which is totally insane.
Overall the location is the only beauty of it as it is right on top the subway station and on the opposite of Taibei 101.

Great location for shops/malls and food venues (fast food, sit down, and grocery). Staff was very helpful and accommodating. English with the staff was no problem. We rented a windowed room but the only view you will see a wall and plants and the windows do not open to the outside. All rooms are the same in design, so paying extra for a room with a window is not recommended unless you just need to see sunlight during the day. Location was also very safe. Walking around (day or night) was very pleasant and recommend visiting Taipei 101 building which is only across the street from the hotel. Underground train station is located just a step away and doesn't affect noise in the hotel.

The property is right across from Taipei 101 with all the shopping and dining right at your doorstep. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When I complained the room was cold, a heater was provided. We needed to get to the cruise terminal in Keelung and the woman at the desk arranged a taxi and came out to explain to the driver in Chinese where to go. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is just a traffic light across Taipei 101. Excellent location for moving around Xinyi district. Room is very basic. Wash basin being directly behind the front door is uncommon, but not a problem. Wi-Fi seems to be unstable at times. Otherwise a decent hotel for business travellers when location is more important than prestige.

The location is perfect (right next to Taipei 101). The staff was great and very helpful. The room is a little small, but in this part of town, that is expected. If you are looking to party, or explore Taipei, this is a great place to stay.

I stayed here for 5 nights in early November. Best location—right across the street from Taipei 101 which has lots of options for dining and shopping; Literally MRT redline station is just outside the hotel. The hotel is very quiet and clean. Mr. Fan at front desk is so caring, kind and gentle. He made me feel like at home when I was traveling. I really enjoyed my stay here. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Taipei next time.

The hotel staff was kind and responsive. Wonderful service. The hotel itself has some drawbacks. There is a bar/nightclub located in the hotel which was directly above my room. It was so loud that I wasn’t able to sleep until after they closed. If you have children, I do not recommend. Also, the first room I check into had a very strong mold smell and there was a considerable amount of mold on the walls. The staff changed my room immediately and was very accommodating. Overall, it was fine for a one night stay.

Perfect price for the perfect location!

Rooms are small but clean, cute and comfortable. The size didn’t matter to us, since we were there to shop and sightsee. We only used the room to sleep and shower. Taipei 101 is directly across the street and so are the the red line train stations. It was the perfect location.

Arrived late and surprised to find the hotel below ground level. The room was large and clean but dark with very poor lighting. Although the room had a full glass wall it looked at a 3 to 4 metre high wall across a metre widepath. Very convenient location

SPARK JOY for sure....

Very pleased with our stay at Sparkle 101... didnt know that it is so close to Taipei 101 bldg and it is like our go-to almost daily... very convenient and located like just next to the train station. Good price and nice room too.. Thou there is no open window in the room, with the upgrade of the room that was avail when we checked in most certainly delighted us.... had to pay extra but I think it is totally worth it....

As this hotel is located in the underground, my cell phone couldn't receive any messages, nor wifi connection. The hotel says that wifi is available in the room, but it is too weak. If you keep opening the door open, maybe you can use wifi, but it is not realistic.

We stayed in a garden view room. And we did not get the breakfast option. We really liked the hotel. It was clean and the rooms are modern. Very convenient as it is right across the street from 101 and also lots of shopping and restaurants near by. The train station is also right in front of the hotel.

I was really tired at the end of the day so did not notice much noise from the other rooms.

location is the best for going to events at world trade centre which is just directly across. the building look old on the outside but the hotel at the basement is well renovated and clean.

dont expect much from breakfast but metro is just in front of you.. you can have tons of local breakfast stops away. nearest convenience store is at the train station, if it is closed then you got to walk about 400m south west of the hotel to a 7-11.

will definetly book here again..

Excellent location across the street Taipei 101.

The hotel is right across three street from Taipei 101. You really can't do better than that. The room was acceptable in size, though the bathroom layout was less than ideal. But at least there was a wall between the shower and the toilet, unlike many other places in Taiwan. But there was no bidet. The bed was hard, but not rock hard. After ten days sleeping in Taiwan, I got used to the harder beds there. The WiFi password was a long series of numbers. Why not use a few letters too, to make it easier to enter. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check out were very smooth and easy.

Best location in Taipei

The hotel is right opposite of the 101 tower which is super convenient. You can take bus 1960 from the airport and get off at the Hyatt Hotel. I booked the hotel for 2 nights, the 1st night the air conditioner emit a strange sound every 30-45 mins which makes me sleep not well on that night. But the next day in the morning I communicate with the front desk and they fixed it on the 2nd night. Staffs are nice and helpful.

The breakfast stuck in my mind. The orange juice was fresh squeezed, very tasty. The breakfast meat slices sure tasted weird. It was labeled \"ham.\" Probably because of the spices, not the freshness. The sausages also tasted funky. I've stayed in Taiwan hundreds of nights, and am used to the food, but this flavor was out there. It is probably a delicacy in Taiwan!
The porridge tasted excellent, but was cold. That temperature was probably intentional, given the high heat and humidity outdoors.
The thermostat was too hard to figure out. We had to shut off the A/C to avoid freezing. Of course, then it got too hot after a while. Instructions would be nice to have. That is why comfort is not a five rating. The shower was great, nice a spacious too. But no bidet, that is a disappoinment for a higher end Taiwanese hotel. The bed was hard, but not so hard it wouldn't be ok for most Caucasians.

How come an hotel can be set with 3 / 4 stars with most of the rooms without windows. That means A/C and forced air flow noise in permanent.
May be good for backpackers.
Breakfast in the bar above the hotel on the ground floor, smelling beer early in the morning not the best option, except if your a former rocker on your way back!!!! Food as the smell of the bar, so pass you way.
We stayed one night out of 3, moved away.
