Everything was great, from customer service to the breakfast buffet. I would git it 5 stars, except my room had a constant noise from upstairs. I thought people were moving furniture but it never stopped throughout the night.

Dont be deceived by the name of the hotel. This hotel is a hidden gem. Great location. There’s a train exit right in front of the hotel. Short walk to Taipei Arena, 3 train stops to Rouhe night market. 3 stops to Beimen station where u can walk to Taipei Main Station to take HSR to other parts of Taiwan conveniently. Room is awesome. Decent size, it’s clean, comfy bed, good size toilet with bath tub. Breakfast is awesome too. Great variety and taste good. There’s 7-11 and watsons nearby. The underground station has some nice snacks. Breeze shopping mall is just next door. Just a few stops to local favourite Qing guang market for the delicious red bean pancakes. Overall , this is one of my top favourite stay in Taipei. Will stay again when i am in Taipei.

Well........it's complicated. Check in staff very cheerfully gave me a free room upgrade and the room, very tastefully decorated, had a window that faced a kind of air shaft. And the shaft didn't even open up to the sky so you couldn't tell if it was night or day. And I did reserve a room with a window. The included breakfast was very well prepared (I took the American option), but the service was cold and mechanical. Had to ask for milk for my coffee, and waitress never came by to see if I wanted more coffee. Instead she was very busy at the counter fooling around with paper work.

The staff are friendly and eager to please, but the hotel facilities are dated. Location is excellent, I found their breakfast and food in the restaurants had declined. In my previous stays I tried their Taiwanese and Cantonese restaurants, dishes were below average, the Japanese restaurant was passable. This time I was totally disappointed with the Japanese restaurant food. The variety of the breakfast choices were much less than before!

Fortunate Opportunity to Stay at Brother Hotel

Great service. Love staying here. Very helpful during a lost luggage experience. Accepted delivery of suitcases from airline while out shopping and dining. Eagerly delivered them to our room when we returned. Generous breakfast buffet with wide selection of fruit, eggs made to order, salad and sautéed vegetables, rice congee, curry and sides for the rice soup. Staff are friendly and greet you at every opportunity.

I liked the location which was next to the mrt station. The warm toilet seat, the dim light under the sink was very useful to guide us to the toilet when the rest of the lights were off. I know using plastic bags to line the trash bins is not environmentally friendly but I also hate it when there’s no lining and all the trash ends up dirtying the bin, just the ocd in me, so this hotel did it right. I liked that there were two places to go to for breakfast and there is also a bakery if you prefer just a sandwich or a bun to go. There are also 3 other restaurants but we did not have a chance to try them. The concierges are very helpful hailing taxis for us when we needed one and a lady gave us a delightful recommendation to a soya bean place! I wish I got her name.


I did not like the window without a view but I can live with as we are out all the time. And the pillows are too soft for me but the bed is good.

Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable!

The location of Brother Hotel is so convenient, it has so many restaurants in several floors and they are all so good. I do not like to eat breakfast there every day I stay, mainly I am tired to eat the same breakfast meals everyday, but the customers have no choice, meal is included in the hotel bills, it leaves the customers no choice. That is one thing I do not like Brothers Hotel.

We stayed here once years ago at a friend's recommendation. We have since recommended it to others. This time around we visited with our friends. It's quite a distance from the airport. The property looks a bit dated on the outside and the lounge chairs are a bit saggy. However, the updated rooms are clean and spacious, the lift lobby and the corridor look pleasant. All their staff were very polite and helpful. They have lived up to their promise - treat their guests like brothers.

It is the best stay during our 11 days trip in Taiwan. Hotel is good. Nice and convenience. Quite a lot of places to eat. Train station literally just there. Travelling is too convenience. There are shopping mall around there too. Raohe night market and Wu fen pu is 10-15 mins by Uber. The rest of the places all accessible by train. Really not a bad place to stay. I will not hesitate to stay there again on my next Taiwan trip. Staff is fantastic too. Very super pleasant 4 days stay with them. Love it.

Brother Hotel might show her age, however, it is still one of the better option in term of staying at Taipei. MRT is just next door. A ton of restaurants very close to the hotel. The bakery, sushi place and in house restaurants were all very good :-) Overall, we spent a wonderful week there.

This hotel is next to two MRT stations and there are lots of bus lines that allow you to access literally anywhere in the city. There are so many restaurants, eateries, department stores and night markets in the area. The breakfast is delicious and there are a variety of choices. Inside the hotel, there are several restaurants as well. It is a good experience overall.The only drawback, if I have to pick anything, would be the size and appearance of room, it is smaller and slightly outdated. However, they did a good job keeping it clean. I'm very happy about it.

Easy checkin, clean & comfortable, great stay!

I was only here for one night but I was impressed! The check-in was super easy and two attendants took my bags up to the room for me. The room included 4 bottles of water, a kettle, coffee, a small refrigerator (but no freezer component), and a comfortable bed. I booked this due to it's location to the MRT to Songshan airport, and the entrance to the MRT is literally outside the hotel, very easy to get to the airport!
