The deluxe room is spacious. But the furniture and hardware look cheap and very dated. Peeling wallpaper looks odd in a what should be renovated room. The bathroom floor is new but everything else looks old and cheap. The staff is friendly but they are not trained hotel staff, but feels like family members or relatives working here. The \"snacks\" in the rest space are unappetizing cookies and cheap chips. Feels like a village family-run guest house rather than a hotel. There's always something broken in the room.

The standard room is listed as the same size as the Deluxe but it is much smaller. Dated wallpaper and moldy spots look odd in what appears to be a renovated hotel. The bathroom is not designed well. Peeling wallpaper and damages makes the room look cheaply done. No tea bags in the room. One night shift front desk staff looks like he doesn't want to work and does not know his own hotel. Poorly managed as there are a lot of problems in the room, such as malfunctioned phone, broken safe, and broken lights.

Very comfortable stay for 4 nights in a sweet, quiet neighborhood near a metro and we ended up gettin nice meals in the same general area. New to Taipei we were at first clueless (go ahead and take a tour!), but met staff and nice folks who helped us. We enjoyed access to the cafe that offered all sorts of yummy snacks. A clean, handsome building that felt homey! Excellent value!

The room was big just like the pictures showed in the website. It has plenty of room to place two opened large luggages and one stroller. It also has a dining table and sofa. You could eat or enjoy the TV time in the separate spaces. There is a entertainment room in the first floor. You could have some snacks there. The bed is big too and I had a good sleep there. We'd like to use the bathtub, however, it's leaking. The water drain in the shower area was too slow. Except that, it was a good stay for us. Recommended!

A modern and well-maintained boutique hotel, nested in local neighborhood but only 5 mins of walk away from a centrally -located subway station. Friendly staff, very spacious room, and great amenities. Our kids love the dining area where they can grab snacks and juices on our way back or ok our way out.

Room was spacious with coin laundry and dryer at level 5. The hotel even provide laundry detergent, just need to ask from the front desk. All good except the water for shower took pretty long to heat and temperature changes from time to time. Can improve to be better.

Everything was great! Loved the convenience to local food, stores and the metro station. The room was extremely clean and spacious (the extra dining and sitting space was awesome). Having king sized beds was lovely.
The only minor comments are: there was no outlet in the bathroom to plug in a hair dryer etc. Also, the TV channels were limited to local stations. We could not connect to Netflix even after following the instructions. But these are definitely not a deal breaker to stay again. Thank you!!

A charming and clean boutique hotel in a residential area. Located in a convenient 5 min walk location to catch west/east and north/south MRT in Taipei. Free snacks and beverages in the coffee sitting area is definitely a bonus.

We loved our stay! Most hotels in Taiwan have smaller beds (typically double size), which is too cramped for us! We were excited to find a super spacious room at Royal Rose with two KING sized beds at a reasonable price! The room had a mini \"living room\" area which was great since some of us have different sleep schedules, allowing some of us to engage in other activities while others slept in. There was also a dining table, which was great for enjoying takeout meals (helpful in Taipei since many food stands don't offer seating).
The service was excellent too; the front desk staff was very helpful and responsive, and they spoke English. We also loved the dining area where they offer free drinks, snacks and fresh-baked goods all day (the cookies were soooo delicious!) The dining area even included a pool table and foosball table! We also liked the hotel location, as it was pretty close to several tourist attractions.
The only downsides I can think of were relatively minor. Instead of tiles, the shower was lined with tiny pebbles that were somewhat painful to step on. Fortunately they provided a shower mat to provide some relief. Additionally, the room smelled a little musty (Taipei is so damp!), but they did provide a dehumidifier which helped a bit.
Overall we had a great stay... highly recommended!

Walls are a bit thin. I could hear my neighbors in the hallway but nothing once I was in the room. Room was spacious and was plenty of space for 4, though we only had 3. Pillows were comfy but the mattress was a little more firm than my personal preference but was still pleasant. Awesome that the water and snacks in the room were free! Very clean and luxurious bathroom. The shower was roomy and the onsen style bath was very fancy. Definitely a good value stay!

Room had two TVs, and a nice dining table for eating and working. Hotel is tucked in a small lane in the midst of residential blocks. However, it is just a few minutes walk from the subway station. I booked the family room and it was really spacious, and the kids enjoyed the onsen style tub tremendously. There is no breakfast option but there are a few local breakfast shops just along the parallel street. Taxi to the airport was also a breeze as the hotel is located near the entrance to the highway to the airport.
Overall, the family enjoyed the stay tremendously and will definitely look forward to staying there for the next trip to Taipei.

Room deco is fairly new, the bed is comfortable enough, I sleep well every night, but the wall is on the thin side, somehow I can hear guests from next door talking.
The area is quiet, although my room is on 2nd floor and facing the alley.
It's about 8mins walk to the MRT, local eateries, Carrefour supermarket and fruit store nearby, that's pretty much all I need.
Overall experience is good, I would stay here again.

チェックイン前の荷物預かりサービスがあり、スタッフの方も優しくて安心感がありました。ラウンジ内には、クッキー、スナック、カップ麺があり、無料で食べられます。コーヒー、紅茶も7:00-23:00の間ならラウンジスペースで提供があります。小腹が空いた時にお世話になりました！美味しかったので、おみやげに買いました！現地で売っているスナックやカップ麺を試せてよかったです！また、冷たい水とお湯のウォーターサーバーもあったので、自分の好きなお茶をお部屋でゆっくり飲むこともできてよかったです！あと、5階にランドリースペースがあり、洗濯機と乾燥機、アイロンが設置されていて、また電子レンジも置いてありました！こちらは使用しませんでしたが、土砂降りで靴がだいぶ濡れてしまい、さすがに靴の乾燥機はないか、と思っていたところ、古新聞が置いてあったので、新聞紙を丸めて一晩中靴の中に入れたらほぼ乾いて翌日快適に過ごせました。翌日も土砂降りだったので、結果的に厚底の合皮のスニーカーを買いましたが、新聞紙に助けられました。またおみやげで食器や瓶ものを購入し、ここでも古新聞を緩衝材として利用させていただきました！女性ひとり旅で、ちょっと細い道にホテルがあるので、夜遅くまでお出かけするのには適さないホテルでしたが、それ以上にホテルにたくさん助けていただいたので、大満足です！部屋もものすごく広く、泊まってよかったです！女性の方も夜遅くまで出かけなければ、安心して利用できるホテルです！ホテルに着いた際は、ホテルの場所ミスったと思いましたが、ホテルのスタッフも女性が多く、安心して過ごせた3日間でした！

Have been stay in this hotel so many times already, it was clean and service was very good before. But this time I can see the change of hotel. The room is not clean, with a lot of hairs on the floor and bed footstool. The frond desk service is so so compare to before. Room’s telephone change to the one that can’t call the frond desk. So I don’t know what’s the point to have a phone in the room.
