Breakfast was delicious but somwwhat limited and mostly korean food. Laundry was convenient but a little expensive (10,000 won). Location is great and near the waterfalls and restaurants. Free parking was very covenient. Hotel is clean but a little dated. Bedding and linen were clean and new. Lota of space for a family of 4 in the family suite.

My sister and I have bought breakfast voucher for my stay but my sister was tired in the morning and decided to stay in the room. So I went to have breakfast alone in the breakfast room. After I finished, I took some bread and a bit jam for my sister for her to eat in the hotel room. But I was stopped by the staff and the staff claimed that I have \"stolen\" food from the hotel. I tried to explain to him that I was taking some food for my sister to eat as she decided to not come down to eat. It did not change his mind and he said my sister must come down herself to have breakfast. How rude and unfriendly!

Overall the hotel is ok. It was clean and a walking distance from the Ollie market but what I didn't like was the bathroom. When you shower everything gets wet and the drainage was not optimal so the water puddles there all day around the toilet. So you end up having to clean/dry with multiple towels. What had me concerned the most is that at night if you have to go to the bathroom you could slip in the dark. And getting your feet wet every time you go into the toilet is not a nice sensation. Also the light went out in the bathroom so I would have to finish my shower in the dark. I was traveling with my elderly mother so these things had me concerned but luckily nothing happened.

Very friendly staff and parking attendant who took care of parking our car. The rooms were clean but the layout of the washrooms were a bit odd with the shower and toilet in the same room without any dividers, so water from the shower sprayed onto the toilet and the entire floor would be wet. Great location being walking distance to the Maeil Olle Market and close to lots of restaurants.

Shower and toilet seat are in the SAME space without any partitioning. The floor floods for 5 to 10 mins after you shower so if you need to use the bathroom then you're standing in inches of dirty bath water. Told the manager but he shrugged it off.

Service was excellent, from front desk staff to valet. They had the car already outside for us when we checked out. It seems to be an older building which they are working to improve. The hallways were stiffy and one of the bathrooms smelled pretty bad. We tolerated it since we were staying for just one night.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Immaculate room, comfortable beds. Excellent location close to so many restaurants and walkable to some attractions. Valet parking so convenient.

I find the hotel to be incredible value considering the room and service quality. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Seogwipo.

The staff are so thoughtful, helpful, warm and kind - it really makes the stay extra pleasant. Thank you!

Hotel the Grang hits all the right spots for me, such that I've been back for the 2nd time just 4 months later.

Jay runs the hotel with Immense pride & he should be:

- Hotel room public areas are very clean
- Beds are super comfortable (firmness is just nice, sheets so smooth & cooling)
- Air-conditioning can be adjusted separately (there's also floor heating for those cold days)
- no worries on parking your rental car, Jay and his staff (Bruce & Donny) are always ready to take over with Valet service once you've arrived.
- laundry service is available, check with front desk/Jay

The hotel is walking distance to good food Olive Young Seogwipo Olle Market.

Bonus for families: they have rooms set up for 2 adults 2 kids.

Ultimately, the next time I'm back in Jeju - I'll definitely be staying with Hotel the Grang.

Meanwhile - please enjoy a stay for me, already missing the whole experience.

We were a group of 6 including 3 young children. Our room was upgraded, to a very spacious and clean room although I have no doubt our original room would’ve been great as well. Location of the hotel was walking distance to the food market and other good options. There’s a GS25 across the hotel. The staff members made our stay much better. They were very friendly and greeted us every time we returned to the hotel from our daily outings. They also recommended different things to do especially traveling with children. There was no communication conflicts as the staff spoke English. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay at the Grang again, highly recommend!!

We had the best experience with Hotel The Grang. Mr Jay was extremely helpful and sincere at the same time. He is fluent in English and managed to answer all our questions and needs! Excellent location and hospitality! I have been to several five star luxury hotels but this place had unmatched top notch hospitality. The manager was very helpful, gave recommendations and made accommodations for us. When we told him we are hiking Halla mountain he even let us borrow hiking poles. The hotel has a great location, walking distance to several excellent restaurants, and easy walking to Olle Market. You can walk to the Cheonjiyeon falls as well. The small room is small but for the price I think it was good value. Definitely would recommend.

Amazing service from uncle Jay and team. Staff immediately assist with luggage and car as soon as we drove in. Jay upgraded our room to give the kids more space and they absolutely loved it. Location is great if you want to do shopping and walk down to the seogwipo market. Definitely wish we were staying for more than 1 night. Would definitely go back if we are traveling to Jeju again

Excellent Location, Service and Cleanliness

Our family of 5 booked two rooms at Hotel The Grang Seogwipo and it was a good \"home-away-from-home\", particularly for our two old aged parents. Jay is always ready to greet us in English and his conversational skills in Mandarin made our parents feel assured help is always there. Jay gave great advice on what we want or could do in Jeju and takes great care of his guests. We couldn't be more impressed with his dedicated service level.

The hotel is also conveniently located near Seogwipo Olle Market (6 min walk thereabout) and lots to eat at the food street nearby. CVS are all around the hotel; Cheonjiyeon Falls is just behind it.

The rooms are very well kept, clean and tidy. In-room heating works fine and firm mattresses is a big tick. After a long day of exploration, a good support bed/pillow is what you need a for an aching back.

It was a very spacious and nice hotel. The manager goes out of his way to treat every guest extremely well it seems that he even knows each one by name! The staff is extremely helpful and they all speak good English. We didn’t have the best breakfast, but he was very open to suggestions and before going into the island, he sent us a message stating that their breakfast had changed and gave us enough time in case We wanted to change our reservation. he also gave us an upgrade in the room and lots of suggestions!!!!!

Hotel staff was extremely thoughtful, helpful and friendly! My family and I all loved the stay. Condition of the rooms were excellent with both floor heating and A/C available which made the rooms very comfortable to our needs, unlike many other hotels with non-working temperature control especially during the colder months. Laundry and dryer machines were all in great working condition. Short walk to multiple convenient stores and a local mart. Close to the Seogwipo Olle Market as well! Loved it and would definitely go back again!

The staff was genuinely polite and helpful. One of the best customer service I've ever experienced during my extensive travels over the last 20 years. The hotel was incredibly clean and my family appreciated the convenient location to all the beautiful parks and waterfalls. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and although the location is near a lot of restaurants and landmarks, the area is very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend staying here if you're ever in Seogwipo!

Thankyou Mr Jay for your warm hospitality

My wife and I had an amazing stay at this property. Manager Jay and his team were excellent and he helped us with translations into Korean of the places of interest to make travelling around the island as easy as possible. The free breakfast and the packed lunch was so kind and very much appreciated as well as the delicious hallabongs he gave us.

The rooms were clean and spacious and amazing value. The Netflix available in the rooms was also a great touch.

The location of the hotel is also excellent walking distance to the two waterfalls and the Olle trail tourist centre is a couple of doors down and is also walking distance to the vibrant street food in the Olle market and nearby food streets with plenty of convenience stores nearby. It is easy to get around to the east and west and also central to the mount hallasan trails which we really enjoyed.

Keep up the good work Mr Jay and we wish you and your team every success as it is well deserved . We would heartily recommend hotel the grang as a base for exploring the beautiful Jeju island

The hotel is close to Olle Market, Seogwipo attractions, and bus stops. The room is spacious and clean, and the breakfast food is really delicious. In particular, I have never seen such friendly staff anywhere else. I will definitely go back to this hotel next time I go to Seogwipo.

Mr Jay is a fantastic host! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the hotel is newly refurbished, and very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast (which Mr Jay graciously offered for free) was delicious. The only regret we had was that we stayed only for a night. This property is conveniently placed- within a walkable distance from the market, the waterfall, and plenty of good food places. Highly recommended!

I normally don't write reviews(lazy) but I must for The Grang at Seogwipo. Jay and Tom and the rest of the staff helped changed this from an ordinary visit to an Extraordinary stay. So very welcoming and accomodating. The breakfast was one of the best Hotel breakfast I have had. They changed the menu everyday I was there four nights). The rooms were clean and fresh. The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the many area attractions. The Ole trails, the two main water falls and much more. Very nice...Clifford Allen, Waco, Texas

I have stayed at The Grant Hotel for 10 days. It’s a fabulous hotel. Recently fully renovated. Very clean. Very supportive multi lingual staffs. Full breakfast buffet.
Large and clean laundry room.
Convenient parking lot and parking tower.
I will most definitely stay at this hotel when I come back.

The place was clean, easy to find and there are lot of dining options around. The customer service was great! The manager and his assistant Tom was very pleasant. The manager went above and beyond and help us getting around by calling us a taxi and helping us with the taxi driver to get to Alive Museum. Also was very accomodatinf and even said his goodbyes outside the hotel, very nice man. Tom was very respectful and greeted us when we came in. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend to everyone!

En lidt skuffende oplevelse

Hotellet ligger centralt og nær mad-gade og butikker. Det er upersonligt, plastik-agtigt og der er ikke den ekstra luksus, som man forventer, når man bor på hotel. Der lugtede lidt mærkeligt på værelset og sengene var meget hårde. Håndvasken var på selve værelset, hvilket kunne forstyrre, når man rejser flere sammen. Morgenmaden var meget koreansk og der var ikke et okay alternativ til os, der ikke er vild med krydret mad om morgenen. Man skal i øvrigt tjekke ind til morgenmad TIDLIGT. Senest 8.30.
Parkering fungerede fint og Jeju er vidunderlig.

Good and quiet location

Quiet area and sited in food streets. Walking distance to shops and multiple restaurants. Simple brekkie buffet at cheap price with juice tea and fresh milk (but not coffee). You can buy one at the front desk or the GS25 opposite to the hotel. It's convenient if you start your day early.

바닥도 카펫이 아닌 마루바닥이라 청결했고,
방이 2개인데 각 방 안에 퀸베드 1개+ 슈퍼싱글베드 1개씩 있고 화장실도 2개에 수건도 아주 넉넉히 비치해주셨어요. 세면대는 밖에 별도로 있고, 생수가 가득 들어있는 냉장고, 작은 거실과 화장대도 2개 따로 있어서 4식구 사용하기 너무 좋았어요.
들어올 때마다 주차도 도와주셔서 감사했습니다.

불편했던 점은 방과 현관의 구분이 없어서 신발을 놓기가 불편했고 가족 4명이 지내기엔 방이 다소 좁은 느낌이었습니다.

대가족 최적 숙소!

6인 가족이 묵기에 부족함이 없었습니다.
다만 조식이 아메리칸bf인데 어르신들이 드시기에 좀 거리감(?)이 있었습니다. 그래도 가격이 가격인지라 만족하고 간단히 요기하기에는 좋았습니다.
죽 1종류만 추가해도 훌륭한 조식이 될 것 같습니다.
거실이 조금 작기는 했지만 숙소에 머무르는 시간이 길지 않아 불편하지 않았습니다.
