The room was in ok condition but very outdated. The shower would leak out water into the bathroom floors and the bed was hard. There was also a weird smell the first day we were there in the room. Besides that the staff was nice and we also got free breakfast.

Beautiful hotel - wonderful staff. Everyone is helpful and welcoming. Cute little restaurant downstairs in case you don’t feel like going out but wonderful restaurant steps away as well. This was our second time here in 2 years and looking forward to coming back!

This hotel is in a great location for exploring the Old City, you can walk to all the main sites from here. The beautiful garden and is traditional Thai style with some cute additions. The pool looks inviting but, for us, the water was too cold to be pleasurable. Breakfast buffet had a good choice of hot and cold items.
We had a family room and were a little disappointed as it wasn't as large as it looked from the listing, it also didn't have a seating area and the balcony looked out onto a concrete wall. However, it was looked after really well by the cleaning staff and had a very large bathroom.

The hotel is well located near restaurants and a few bars. Local walk is intetesting also.
The hotel is very quaint with beautiful Thai features. Breakfast is very good and rooms are clean and authentic.
The pool area is lovely and there is a good gym for use. Staff are exceptional. Only small downside was the inhouse restaurant.Hoever, a great place to stay.

Walking distance to weekend night market, convenient shop, massage & spa. If you wish to buy golden pillow durian 金枕头真空包装榴莲 you may get the cheapest price (100 baht cheaper than you purchase in airport) at the old town shop 7 minutes walks from the hotel.

This is our 2nd visit whereas we been here 3 years ago. After renovation, the hotel become more unique. We have a pleasant stay & definitely will come again in near future.

This is a perfect place for first timers in Chiang Mai (like me). It is central to the Old City.
The staff is AMAZING--so kind and helpful and sweet. They brought me birthday cake when I turned 60 last week!! The breakfast is terrific and the little restaurant open late for sweets and fruit smoothies and also beer and dinner. Really fantastic experience.

Great hotel in the heart of the old city. The art at the hotel is incredible and almost worth the stay by itself. Easy walking distance to every major attraction in the old city and no issue getting public transportation from the hotel. Room was designed to evoke an older era with lots of carved wooden furniture. Gave it a nice ambiance. Bed was a bit stiff, even by Thai standards.

Beautiful boutique hotel with amazing Thai inspired decor. The breakfast buffet was amazing in the morning. Everything was hot and always refilled. Perfect location close to all historical monunuments. 2 min from the three kings and 5 min to Tae Phae gate. Hotel provided welcome fruit upon arrival and always refilled 2 bottles of water in the room. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. It has its own charm and character.

The Sunday night Street market is just around the corner of the hotel. Location is also situated near the main temples and monuments, also very accessible to the cafes within the old town. Was there for the Marathon, start point is just minutes away. The staffs were very helpful in all ways, from recommending tours to requirements. Pity is that the TV has got no English nor Chinese channels to watch if you decided to stay in the room to chill.

My son went to hospital for a lot of the time that we were here but the room wasn’t cleaned or water replenished even though we had the sign out. Which meant that we had to pay for water.
The girls at the front desk were lovely and showed genuine concern about my son.
The internet was good.
The pool was pretty but cold at this time of year.
The room itself felt very traditionally Thai, so that was nice.
The buffet breakfast was below standard for the price that we paid for the room. Location I. The old city was alright but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

This is the nicest place I've stayed in Chiang Mai. I have been to 5 other hotels and each of them with good and bad qualities. There is only good with this. Cold ac, clean showers and bathroom, comfortable bed. Great wifi, very nice pool and lounge areas. Very happy!

The hotel is in the old city. Very close to many temples to view. Staff and room were fine. However ,we were most interested in the night and day markets for shopping and eating which were not close to the hotel. If you just want to relax and stay by the pool fine. If your a bargain shopper and try the many thai food choices at the day and night market I would stay closer

The staff at @chiang mai are amazing! They were so helpful on many occasions. They were able to answer all of my questions and make a lot of things so much easier. The beds are a little firm, but the rooms are nice and the bathtubs are really comfortable to soak in. It was too cold for us to swim, but the pool looked clean and inviting. The breakfast was good, standard. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone.

Convenient and good price

This hotel is good value for the money. My room was very large and the pool is great. Also, there was a very helpful man in the kitchen who lent me utensils late at night when they were about to close. The breakfast is mediocre but there are great places nearby. My main complaint is that my bathroom was in disrepair -broken light, toilet runnning loudly constantly. There was also some sort of weird party market nearby that was quite noisy Saturday night. Place needs some work but is a good budget option.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good and the location is excellent.

What impressed us most was the fantasy like garden with so many details and surprises.

The only concerns we had was the mattress is a bit hard and they could use another night stand instead of only one.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. We had a second-floor room that had a king bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of 4 that included 2 teenagers. We enjoyed the location of the hotel, as we could easily access most places around town very easily. It's very close to a bar area, but we did not have any nightclub noise in our room.

Comfortable hotel in old city

This hotel is relatively quiet because it's off the street however it is right in the middle of the old city which is a nice location for tourists. The pool is wonderful for cooling off in the afternoon. The restaurant has excellent food, for those nights that you don't feel like going out. The staff was very helpful in setting up our daytrip's .

The room furniture was dark wood which gave the room a dark feeling to it. The photos show that but it's not until you get into the room you realise how dark it is. The shower leaked and, although with the exchange rate it isn't much, but we were charged double what we paid to get a taxi to the hotel than the hotel charged us to get back to the airport using their own vehicle and member of staff. That aside, the staff were excellent and organised everything we asked, the pool is good for a refreshing dip and cool off but not for serious swimming. It is a good place to explore the city and beyond. As a tip, the numerous red taxis/buses can be flagged down and will take you to wherever you want to go locally and you just have to negotiate a reasonable fare.

Great Authentic Visit to Chiang Mai

Great hotel in the perfect location. Royal Family room type was spacious and ample room for a group of friends. The bed was a bit too firm but overall enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Old City Chiang Mai. Would definately stay again!

Rooms spacious however the bath tub drainage wasn't very good.

Nice relaxing hotel in the heart of the old city

This is a nice relaxing hotel right in the heart of the old city with tuk tuks and red cars passing by constantly. Out front is a stall serving delicious mango and sticky rice. The gardens and pool are well maintained and just so relaxing after a few hours at the market. With orchids and statues all around the grounds, photo opportunities are everywhere.

Nice hotel, spacious room and bathroom. Some mosquitoes outside but not that pesky. Rooms looks old but classy, not really dated. Staff are nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not so good but not so bad either. Coffee was terrible. My biggest issue with the hotel is the funny smell of the towels(which prevented me from rating it 5).

A lot of places to eat and have massage places are walking distance from the hotel. Will definitely stay again at the hotel, so please fix the towels.

The boutique hotel has a very pleasant ambience. Very nice environment with a nice pool. It's opposite to a school so there are many small vendors around in the day time. There is a good stall just outside the hotel where you can get very delicious mango sticky rice. The breakfast provided by the hotel is very tasty too. We stayed for four nights and every morning there is a different variety.

The room is big and quiet, with an antique feeling. The Only thing not so perfect is the bathroom showering condition. The pipes were leaking! Staff there are generally efficient and well mannered. They have a very good tour agent there too.

Close to the Sunday market, just 2 min walk. Fairly good breakfast. Comfortable room. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable place to come and sleep in the night this is perfect. Nothing much to do in the hotel . Outside view is not great.

Stayed here for 3 nights in the family room. Nice, clean and big room with a double bed and 2 single bed for 4 person. Huge bathroom space with tub and shower area (seriously huge). It also has a small balcony with a sunrise view. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast but I wish they could label their food. Decent swimming pool with towels, they also provide floats and armbands for kids. They let you check-in early and late check-out (provided the room are free). Wifi is ok only.

Good location, just 10mins walk down on the right past the river to the shops, massage parlors, bars and restaurants. 15mins from the airport. A bit far to walk to night bazaar but its only a 10mins ride by tuk-tuk.

We came for Songkran and this was probably one of the best hotels you could stay at for this as it was very central but has a pool and a ploace to get away from all the noise. Only marked down one point because I booked a 3 person room and then had to pay a supplement for the extra bed in the room (otherwise only one double bed). This supplement should have been obvious at the time of booking not afterwards!

The location was perfectly situated in the old part of the city. Within walking distance to all the night markets and great restaurants. The staff was fantastic. Our only complaint was how dark the room was. The only window is in the bathroom, which needs to be curtained so the whole world doesn't view our business! I wish they had a window in the main room. We didn't like not knowing if it was day or night. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay.

We loved the location within the walled city. Lots of different room configurations for families. We were 2 adults and 2 children and it was comfortable. I prefer a softet mattress but it was not unreasonably firm. The restaurant staff dressed up for Halloween which my kids loved. Overall we wete very happy.

Nice balcony with no seating, though no particular view. Noisy, Noisy guest who were in the habit of banging on each others doors and yelling to get each others attention. Personnel agréable. L’hôtel est très bien placé (dans le old Chiang Mai qui est assez petit), un peu en recule des grands axes donc assez calme. Chambres spacieuses. En revanche la piscine était froide.

Zeer veel activiteiten,van sticky waterfalls tot tempels,kayaken,ziplines enz....hotel licht op wandelafstand van uitgaansbuurt en eet mogelijkheden.de prijzen zijn er ook zeer democraties.voor wie houd van natuur is dit een must do !!
