Excellent Resort and location.

The resort is very friendly while proving and relaxed and chill atmosphere. The staff are very accommodations to the guest ensuring a nice stay. The room had a nice view to the water and a small plunge pool which was very comfortable. Resort offers snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding right off the beach. Recommend for a smaller more intimate getaway while being family friendly.

Lovely villas in an idyllic location. We enjoyed taking out the kayaks, snorkelling and hiring motorbikes to explore the island.

Beautiful island, gorgeous and quiet property. The staff was sooo nice. The free breakfast and restaurant meals were delicious. The rooms were absolutely beautiful! My favorite part was probably kayaking. The views were spectacular! Try taking the boat ride around the island (off the original pier). Great boat tour with the kindest driver and his kid nephew (best friend shrimp rice too). Koh Kood was AMAZING!!

Family friendly hotel with loud kids

If I was purely rating the resort, I’d give it 5/5. Great rooms, great location, great service, couldn’t fault it. Unfortunately, it is a very family friendly hotel and attracts Northern European guests of the type that wake up at the crack of dawn to go reserve their favourite lounge chair even though they won’t be using it for quite some time. If you are looking for a holiday of just chilling out to the sound of the waves, this is not for you as the waves are drowned out by the sound of screaming children and their even louder parents. If you are a family with small kids or a retired couple, who likes to wake up early and feels passionately about sitting in the same chair every day, you’ll love this place.
It’s a shame, because it really was a great spot with a good restaurant and very friendly service.
I’d recommend the island in general and there are lots of little hidden gems hotels around in bays further north.

Lovely and relaxing stay on Ko Kood

Our stay at the Beach Natural Resort was very nice indeed with warm staff throughout the resort, very spacious, comfy and clean rooms, lovely surroundings and beach area, and delicious buffet for dinner. The hotel has lots of canoes and paddleboards for guests to use.
The hotel also helpfully arranged a taxi for us to take us to dinner outside the hotel.

The most comfy bed I have ever slept in while in Asia! The Cottage was nicely appointed, clean and quiet. The staff were plentiful, helpful and super friendly. The buffet breakfasts were varied and delightful with lots of Western and Asian selections. My wife and I had a fabulous time at the resort. From what we saw at other resorts, The Beach was the only resort in Bang Bao that had umbrellas to provide shade from the searing mid day heat.

A nice hideaway

The best part of my stay is the impeccable service of the staff who were extremely attentive and helpful. There is not much else in the area except for a small eatery and a couple of other resorts, but I had the best time just relaxing by their little beach and swimming in the sea. They could improve on the food in the restaurant (but it's not bad, by any means). Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay at The Beach.

The location, on the beach with access to the mangrove with kayaks, the downside is that the hotel needs maintenance, it is rundown (e.g. no clean up of the leaves on windows in bathrooms making the bathrooms very darks. Some rooms have views directly on other bungalows (not exactly garden views....)

Picture Perfect Romantic Getaway

The service at this hotel was really great. All of the accommodations were comfortable and the overall experience quite lovely. The restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced and we especially enjoyed the mango pudding. The bay where the hotel is located is picturesque and very romantic. My only complaint is that it is far from any other restaurants or convenience stores so I recommend to get a motor bike or plan ahead accordingly.

Let down by the details

A really great hotel experience is about getting the details right. The Beach missed every shot when it came to the details. We organized an airport pickup with them, and there was no pickup there when we arrived. They were kind enough to make towel swans, but they made them with the only towels in the bathroom, so you had to walk sopping wet to the bed after a shower to liberate a swan. They didn't have their full menu (lots of omissions or substitutions) and what they did have was surprisingly expensive. (Also for some reason their poached eggs were stone cold on arrival.) No help getting our little rented motorbike going until we chased down one of the grounds staff. We got a \"Happy Anniversary\" message for our honeymoon (though that one was kind of funny). None of these things are all that big of a deal, to be honest, but they add up to an experience that just isn't satisfying, and definitely not at this price point. Perhaps this is just a result of it being low season, but the hotel was just off its game - providing mid-tier service at a top-tier price. It's a pity because it's a beautiful location, but I wouldn't recommend it again over the alternatives in the area.

First trip to this resort

Note that some of the following are just points the resort can improve on. It is by no means a bad resort. We had quite an enjoyable stay in fact.

- one pillow was fluffy and one was not. Could not sleep on the non fluffy one.
- no cable tv, but resort provides many dvds for free. There was one missing dvd from the dvd borrowed. But it was no big deal, we had many others to watch. Dvd cases are kind of dirty and sticky.
- towels and bedsheets had stains on it but understandable as it is not easy to maintain white fabric. Having really white fabric would mean use of very strong non biodegradable detergents.
- food was superbly amazing. Way better than what you would expect from a place that is far from mainland. Would recommend getting the BBQ satays, tom yum soup and crab soup. Crab and fish in the soup are very fresh for the first lunch and dinner. Second day dinner’s fishes were not fresh.
- water pressure and temprature were good. Unlike many hotels where the temperature is not constant and changes while showering.
- hotel staff provided us food long after the kitchen is closed and warmed it up for us, at a charge of course. But it felt really heart warming when the staff gets out of the bunk and serves us a warm dinner in the middle of the night. We know how it feels to have empty stomach. The crab soup was amazing even though it was pre made and warmed up for us.

The Beach Resort is located in one of the most beautiful bays on the island. Clear clean warm water perfect for swimming and kayaking. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with many trees that keep it cool. Large dinning room with a great fresh served barbecue every night. Great staff and service,with a good morning breakfast buffet. But the best part of this resort are the 4 luxury beach villas that are pricy $225 per night but well worth the extra price. They are featured on line and by far they are everything one can ask for. Beautifully decorated with all the luxuries of a 5 star villa including panoramic views from the wrap around windows and large deck looking over the bay. The best one which we stayed in was the Sun Villa which was at the end and had the most privacy. We enjoyed our romantic getaway at this charming resort located on the best island in Thailand.

Reception manager was helpful, he ensured our transfers back to mainland on check out were in order. Had a relaxing stay, observed staff were busy keeping communal /beach area tidy. Not much entertainment in evening except borrowing dvds from library including books.
Provided shaded huts and sun loungers along the beach and pier. Restaurant was an open hut so was nice to dine with sea views. Was bitten a number of times while dining at the restaurant due to being dusktime but had no problem inside the bungalow.

Die Lage ist wunderschön! Das Essen und der Service gut.
An der Infrastruktur sollte gearbeitet werden: WiFi schlecht, Wasserdruck sehr schlecht, Staumöglichkeiten ungenügend, kein Fernsehen nur ein Bildschirm mit einem Schneckentempo-CD-Player!
Das Speedboot das uns vom Hotel zurück aufs Festland bringen sollte, hatte unterwegs einen Motorschaden, wir mussten umsteigen. Beim Ersatzboot passierte dann das gleiche und wir fuhren nur mit halber Kraft zurück. Statt 1 waren es dann 3h Fahrzeit.

Accommodatie doet zich voor als een me luxueus resort, maar is dat niet. De locatie is prachtig en het idee geweldig, maar het mankeert in de uitvoering. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is niet goed. Voor de prijzen die gevraagd worden verwacht je meer, zeker in een land als Thailand en in vergelijking met andere accomodaties daar. Upgrade van de kamer is het geld zeker niet waard. Verbouwing gaande en niet geïnformeerd, ‘natural’ was in geen opzicht van toepassing op het resort.

Sehr schöne Anlage in einer tollen Bucht. Das Personal war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es wird derzeit angebaut, was uns bei der Buchung auch angekündigt wurde. Am Strand war davon kaum etwas zu hören, daher für und uns ok. Roller haben wir uns vom Hotel reserviert. Waren etwas teurer, dafür in sehr gutem Zustand! Frühstück sehr lecker und für alle Geschmäcker etwas dabei. Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen !!!

Die Anlage liegt am Hang in einer kleinen Bucht. Sie ist schön angelegt und sehr gepflegt. Leider sehr abgelegen. Man muss entweder damit zufrieden sein sich nur auf der Anlage aufzuhalten oder einen Roller mieten. Fuß läufig ist nur eine Bar und ein Restaurant links vom Hotel in der Bucht. Beides übrigens sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten ein Natural Cottage gebucht. Schön, aber wirklich klein und mit wenig Stauraum. Leider war das Bett nichts für meinen Rücken. Wir haben während unserer Thailandreise in 4 verschiedenen Hotels übernachtet und dieses war das einzige Hotel in dem ich mit dem Bett nicht zufrieden war. Das gesamte Personal ist super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Was mir leider gar nicht gefallen hat war der Strand. Ich verstehe nicht, wie das Hotel the Beach heißen kann. Der Strandbereich ist eine kleine, halbrunde, künstlich angelegte Fläche, mit Platz für wenige, nah bei einander stehende Liegen. Ich möchte nicht falsch verstanden werden, auch dieser Strandbereich ist wie die gesamte Anlage schön angelegt aber mir war es einfach zu klein und zu eng aufeinander. Wir sind mit unserem Roller an vielen wunderschönen Stränden auf Koh Kood gewesen und fanden die Insel insgesamt paradiesisch schön! Nachmittags sind wir dann zu dem the Beach Resort zurück denn die Sonnenuntergänge 🌅 in der Bucht sind traumhaft. Wir hatten so trotzdem insgesamt schöne Tage und werden auf jeden Fall noch mal nach Koh Kood kommen aber wohl ein anderes Resort wählen

Das Personal des Beach Natural Resorts war unglaublich aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Mit all unseren Anfragen und Wünschen konnten wir uns jederzeit an das Personal, insbesondere an Audi von der Rezeption, wenden.
Die Aussicht von den Strandliegen aufs Meer ist fantasisch. Abends hat man einen super Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Beach Natural Resort sehr genossen und können es ausnahmeslos weiterempfehlen.
Wenn wir noch einmal nach Koh Kood reisen sollten, werden wir sehr gerne wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Excellent stay at The Beach Koh Kood! Staff was very friendly and helpful with our infant. Good restaurant at reasonable prices. Water outside the hotel is so clear and they have a lovely pier that gives a splendid view of the bay and the resort.

Also possibilities to walk on the beach to neighbor resorts to try different lunch or dinner restaurants.

Definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Koh Kood!

Ruhiges Ressort am Strand. Hab mir von dem Preis mehr erwartet. Die Mitarbeiter waren einige freundlich und manche waren abwesend. Hab mir ein Event am Ort dazu gebucht, war aber enttäuscht. Es war einbisschen unorganisiert und das Büfett war mickrig. Hätte ich es gewusst, hätte ich für das teueren Event, das Geld dafür nicht ausgegeben, sondern das Geld gespendet. Es war eine sehr ruhige Anlage am Strand, nochmal kommen würde ich nicht.

飯店乾淨又舒服，飯店的人也很熱心，大部分都是歐美遊客，大家都很nice
飯店就有海灘，還有獨木舟可以滑，島上還有一些瀑布，建議在市區買零食、泡麵，離島的消費一定偏貴的，值得再去

Fint sted, utroligt meget personale, næsten lidt for meget, ganske få kunne engelsk, men det har jo også sin charme.
Morgenmaden var dejligt, stort udvalg, spise ofte aftensmad på sted, også fin kvalitet.
\"Natural\" holder ikke, kan godt se at den oprindelige stil var derhenad, men de skal holde sig fra de nye plastik ting, og julebelysning, det ser kikset ud!
Stranden er ikke som på diverse billeder, men det har man jo set før... hvis andre steder også lægger \"fine\" billeder op er det jo svært at konkurrere på lige vilkår.
Vandet var fantastisk.
Lej en scooter, og tag rundt på øen, man kan nemt nå det hele på én dag.

母を連れて来たかった！

ホテルのスタッフは皆とても親切でいい笑顔の方々でした。
ビーチは遠浅でクレッセント型の湾になっていて
子供でも泳ぎが得意でない方でも安全に楽しめると思います。
ホテルのすぐ前のビーチでもシュノーケリングを楽しめますが
フリーのカヤックを借りて、少し漕ぎ出しシュノーケリングすれば
色とりどりの魚を見ることができます。
ナチュラルアトリウムです。
敷地内では裸足を推奨しているのも好印象です。
本当に母を連れてきたかった!!
因みに日本人はそんなに滞在していないだろうと思っていましたが
私の滞在中に他に2組の日本人ファミリーがいらっしゃいました。

Emplacement exceptionnel

Magnifique hôtel sur la plus belle plage de l’ile. Les 2 masseuses sont très pros. Le personnel est très gentil.
Le petit déjeuner est très bien, le mojito aussi. Le coucher de soleil magnifique.

Intet mindre end fantastisk!!!

Det er uden tvivl det bedste og flotteste sted jeg har været. Stedet var et paradis og alt var helt perfekt.. servicen var kanon fra vi kom til vi gik. Stranden var så smuk og værelserne og omgivelserne på hotellet var så smukke.. skal heltnsikkert dertil igen.
