Nice lodge in the mountains, surrounded by birds and trees, but close to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore estate. Owner Randy is a kind, friendly and knowledgeable host with a lovely staff. Very quiet and relaxing, full breakfast included. We’ll be back!

The staff was exceptional; as was the eco-friendly outdoor atmosphere; my only concern for future visits is I reserved the rhododendron room on Expedia but was given the bike room upon arrival!!! Not sure, nor do I care about the cost but I think the rhododendron room has a queen size bed and the room I stayed in only has a full size bed; not a deal breaker though!!!!!

We loved our stay at the Bent Creek Lodge! My husband and I are newlyweds, and were looking for a weekend getaway. The airbnbs and hotels were too expensive and not very nice, so we went out on a limb and tried our first B&B experience with Bent Creek Lodge and now we’re never looking back! We loved how it was secluded and beautifully tucked away in nature. The service and staff is amazing, the way the owner, Randy, loves running the B&B makes it all the sweeter. The Breakfast is delicious and I enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and playing games. Would come back again!

What a fabulous secluded spot not far from the Asheville hotspots and minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host Randy was warm and welcoming as was the wonderful staff. Our every need was catered to.
Our well appointed room was spotless with quiet gorgeous garden views off our back deck filled with rockers and a swing.
The morning found us eating a scrumptious breakfast tailored to our needs eaten while overlooking the lovely garden and the bird feeders with the birds chirping all around.
Sigh we hated to leave but we will be back. I need some more of those awesome coconut macaroons!

My husband and I were taking a spur-of-the-moment weekend road trip to Asheville and Bent Creek Lodge looked so cute and the rates were very reasonable. We were absolutely blown away by our experience here. Everything was awesome - the room was comfortable and charmingly decorated, with a back door that opened onto a balcony with views of the forest and a beautiful native plant garden. We had an after-hours checkin but the front desk called us when we were on our way to make sure we had instructions for entering the Lodge and retrieving our key/getting to our room. Breakfast each morning was hot, delicious, plentiful, and served with a smile and friendly conversation. You can eat either indoors or on the back deck overlooking the garden. This place is so conveniently located. It is minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway and about 15 minutes drive to downtown Asheville. Plus there are trails on the property that connect to the NC Arboretum. We cannot say enough good things about this place and have already booked another stay for our anniversary in November.

Bent Creek Lodge is in a tranquil location, but only a short drive from downtown Asheville and Black Mountain. Not all bed & breakfasts get both the bed and the breakfast right - but Bent Creek Lodge has really comfortable beds and amazing breakfasts! It is only about a mike from an entrance to The Blue Ridge Parkway. It is also across the street from the Bent River. Our stay at Bent Creek was simply wonderful. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The grounds were beautiful. It was a much needed getaway from the hustle and bustle of cellphones and emails. We will definitely be back!

Was a very cozy/homey place that wasnt too high up the mountain so the drive at night wasnt too scary. There are open balconies outside the rooms as well as shared decks. Trees and birds in the back. Not high enough for mountain views. I met the owners on my last day, they are sweet.
The only t.v is in the common area, there arent any in the rooms (didnt bother me much but may be important to some.) They do serve breakfast but its only within a 30 min slot btwn 830-9. Wish that could be extended a little longer. Otherwise they do leave water, snacks and refreshments out all day.

First of all, let me start by saying that Lisa, Doug, and Jodee are some of the most welcoming people I've ever met! I immediately felt right at home at Bent Creek Lodge. I am actually from Asheville, and was getting married on property nearby the Lodge. I had seen pictures and reviews of the Lodge online, but none of it prepared me for how truly beautiful the whole place is. I used the backyard gardens as setting for several of my bridesmaid's photos the day of the wedding, and they turned out perfect! This was also where my husband and I stayed for our first honeymoon night before traveling out of town, and we will definitely be making this a regular anniversary retreat! Beautiful home and property, peaceful location away from all the hustle and bustle, DELICIOUS food (I only had the pleasure of a french toast breakfast, but it was phenomenal!), warm hosts, and super cozy beds! Plus, the Tree Room has easily the best jacuzzi tub I've ever swam in. Yes, I said swam. The thing is HUGE!

Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, within a mile of the NC Arboretum, this lovely, secluded B&B lodge is within 10 to 15 minutes of the Asheville Airport, yet gives one the feeling of a mountain get away. Ten rooms, each with an area theme on three levels. Delicious home made breakfasts each morning and garden-like setting with outside porches off the bedrooms for a biew of the lovely forest, flowers, and plants throughout the property.

My wife and I stayed for two nights in the Barn Room, convenient on the first floor. The hot breakfasts were just right for a full day ahead. Our hosts took a personal interest in us, without being intrusive. It was like friends meeting friends. This rustic lodge with its gardens, snacks, and magnificent and quirky ceramics professionally done by Jodee. Doug supervised the cooking and was gracious. He remembered fly-fishing details about a previous guest who had recommended the Lodge.The place was appointed to maximum detail without being showy. Best was at early evening, when we returned to sit in the Adirondack chairs at tree line taking in the view and chatting, if we wanted to, with other guests who also were seeking a peaceful and relaxed stay.

We stayed at the Bent Creek Lodge for 2 nights in June 2018 and absolutely loved every minute of it. Very comfortable and relaxing, beautiful garden and walking trails, 2 minutes to the Arboretum and 15 minutes to downtown Asheville. Doug and Jodee make an amazing breakfast every morning. There are lots of areas to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. We will definitely stay at Bent Creek Lodge again and will recommend it to our friends.

What an amazing find close to the Nantahala National Forest and Blue Ridge Parkway! Doug & Jodee Sellers seemed to have thought of everything which made the lodge so warm, inviting and homey! The Bent Creek Lodge provided a beautiful spot to take in the mountains of Asheville. It is close to the French Broad River where we were able to kayak. We also hiked right off the property. Secluded Lodge in the Woods
We had one night to stay in the area near Asheville and Biltmore Estate. Somewhere which would reflect the area. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere here. It is a lovely independent B&B Lodge set out in the woods. The owners who run the lodge were great and made us feel entirely at home. They have a beautiful open plan room with outdoor areas attached where you can watch the birds.

The first day I saw a fawn behind the building. The breakfast were AMAZING. The Granola is to die for. The room was super clean and we were in a great location near Brevard. This was one of the best places I've stayed on vacation. Quiet, clean, comfortable and beautiful. We loved sitting on the porch just relaxing and listening to the birds. I am a garden/flower lover and this was right up my ally. I've taken home a few ideas from your garden to use in my own.

The lodge is beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting on the back porch looking into nature in the beautiful gardens! Wonderful breakfast including gluten and dairy free friendly. Within a mile of the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and other hiking areas! It didn't take us any longer than 20 minutes to get downtown to restaurants. New outlet mall is close by as well! My husband and I spent the first night of our anniversary trip here before hitting the Blue Ridge Parkway. Loved, loved, loved this place. Quiet, cozy, friendly staff and beautiful grounds. Enjoyed walking the trails and the breakfast was amazing. Location was great-very close to Biltmore Park Town Square and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Will definitely stay here again!
