The property is temporary housing for locals that do not have a permenant housing. Extended stay motel. Cheap and gets job done but don’t have any expectations. Keys stopped working everyday. Roaches. No turn down service. No towel replacement.

$100 deposit was not worth this dump!!! Trash piles up! Elevator doesn’t work properly. Ghetto hood guest! Weed and poop everywhere! Laundry room locked all the time! Roaches!!! Save your money! I could’ve slept in my own car and felt more comfortable!!!

I choose this place because souroundings look nice,went for a weekend get away; the facade of hotel look nice, but when arrived the office is a window, people smoking weed a lot, room door look like someone broke in; no toilet paper, needed extra towels and attendant refused. Will not recommend this place at all.

The place is not kept up. Trash overflows the trash cans outside. The floor, fridge, counter and bathroom were not clean. Hot water takes more than 10 minutes to get warm in the shower. I will no be staying here again.

I only stayed one night but the front desk staff was very personable and professional. There are a lot of long term residents as they're set up as apartments so it depends on what you're looking for if it will suit you or not. They do the best they can with what they have to work with and
will try and help you with any issthe best they can.

I made a reservation on line a week before. Was approved. Showed up on the day of, and they told me they had no rooms available and that they didnt have a room for me. Absolute trash service and an incredibly outrageous lack commitment.

Their lack of management and coordination left me out wandering on the street to figure it out, and i had to jump through hurdles just to find a new place to stay.

Id give this place 0 zero stars if i could and i dont recommend it as your booking is not guaranteed. I ended up having to spend significantly more just to find something last minute.

Thursday January 8th I was placed in a room that was being worked on, when I walked in the room had paint buckets on the bed the bed was trashed the bathroom was not cleaned. Was put in another room bathroom was nasty sink was clogged up the black mud stains. The refrigerator did not work and room had roaches. Friday January 9th I was out in a room with no tv nor the water did not get hot I didn’t receive a discount due to the tv not in the room.

Did not stay here because it was dirty there were cats and dogs running around. There was a guy smoking weed out of the balcony. There was a piece of plywood, covering one of the doors and I couldn't stay at this place.

The hotel is dirty. We were put in a room not completed. Beds were still not constructed. Moved to another room. Could not get in. Sounded like people were inside. Door looked like it had been kicked in. Went down to get a refund. Said I had to go through the app. I paid at motel. They have ignored my messages and are very unprofessional. I would suggest not working with them in the future. The place should be condemned.

The room and bedding were dirty. The bathroom was very nasty. My room was covered in roaches. We went to office and they gave us a can of roach spray and said sorry!!!! That’s it!!!! Very unprofessional. They said they only change bedding every seven days. I will not stay there again and I will not recommend it to anyone else I know.

⭐ 1 Star – Very Disappointed – Upgrade Denied After Payment (Stayed August 4–5)
I had a very frustrating experience at this property during my stay on August 4–5. I reported maintenance issues, including a leaking sink and toilet, but nothing was resolved. I even paid for a room upgrade, but staff refused to move me—even after confirming my payment. The service was unprofessional and unhelpful. I expected better from a property listed on Expedia. I will not return.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL

It was horrible. We reserved 4 rooms. But during check-in the receptionist was taking forever to let us check-in and she said only 3 rooms are available while we reserved 4. When we received the keys, one of the rooms had guests already in the room. So basically we got two rooms. Then the receptionist was trying to find the third room. She eventually couldn’t find a third one. We informed hotels.com and tried to relocate our stay. But the whole process was taking hours. With all the guests waiting to get some rest, it was the most terrible experience we ever had. Finally we left the hotel and booked another hotel.
Moreover, the rooms and the washrooms are not clean. This hotel is not recommended at all.

The lady was really nice. Other than that. The room was terrible. The pictures are nothing compared to what the rooms actually look like. The toilet needed to be fixed. It wasn't flushing, you had to open the top to let it fill up the water. A lot of damage to the walls and they were patched over but not painted. Floor was dirty in the kitchen area. As well as the shower. Shower curtain was dirty at the bottom. I honestly didn't want to have my shoes off at all in this hotel. I pretty much booked it because the pictures looked really nice. And expedia has a high rating for them, a higher rating, and I don't even know how it had such a high of a rating. This hotel reminds me of one of those motel 6s on t v that are really dirty and raunchy, and I just don't understand how people could sleep in a place like that comfortably i'm honestly surprised I didn't find any bed bugs.

The manager was very friendly, I had to spray the room for small roaches, the toilet sunk to one side whever I would sit on it, seems like there's a hole in the flooring on one side where the toilet is situated, however, I stayed on the 3rd floor & it was very quiet & peacefull. Overall 3/5 stars

Terrible experience. TV and heater didn't work and it was 19 degrees that night. All the faucets leaked and everything inside and out was dirty.
Only reason we had to stay is multiple fights at DFW airport were canceled and over 1600 people were trying to book hotels and this all I could find.

This hotel was awful! It was filthy, there was a hole in the wall. There was dirt and hair on the bed. It took the front desk clerk at least 30 minutes to come to the window. There was no sign that she was away. As we were leaving there was a homeless person sleeping on their bags on the curb just feet away from someone’s room door. The pictures on your website are NOT what this place looks like. We could not even stay there. We lost the $$ we paid to stay in this place due to a no refund policy. In this case I feel like it should be refunded. We did not feel safe and it looked like a health hazard.

The customer service that Deon provided was great and she can only do as much as she has to work with. We arrived late at night and turned on heater for the night and just turned on the heat and went to bed ( around 2am woke up to a freezing room the temp was at 78 degrees and no heat was coming out) and it was about 50 degrees outside that night so it was unpleasant.

Very shocked to see Red Roof inn in disarray.

From the get go.
No working phone.
No soap or shampoo
Room stunk like cigarettes
No running water to shower in the morning
Linen stained
Cabinets with no doors
Bath shower with cigarette burns
Torn window curtains ( cigarette hole burns)
Trash on premises
Hotel apparently had transients living there and instilled uneasiness and fear to sleep comfortably. Will not recommend this place, not worth the pay to stay!

I checked in. The room hadn’t been cleaned after the prior guest checked out. They gave me a different room. The smoke detector over the bed was chirping and nobody was available to fix it. There were no other rooms available, so I left.

The manager was very friendly and apologetic about the issues, but there were definitely issues. I booked a two queen bed room for three people, the room was equipped with full-size beds, not queens. There was no toilet paper. There was no shower liner. We had to buy both of those out of our pocket. For a room with three people staying in it, they would not give us more than two towels. Again, we had to buy some. The towel rack over the toilet was not mounted securely and fell a couple of times. There was either mold or staining along the caulk of the shower stall. The electrical outlets and usb ports on the wall lamp assembly did not work. One of the wall lamps did not have a bulb in it. Again, the manager was nice and apologetic, but we will not use this location again.

Dirtiest hotel ever.

Horrible. I booked a smoke free room, when I told them the room was smoky the receptionist said, well that is the way they all are. Cockroaches literally everywhere. A/C was loud and didn’t work. Ended up just unplugging it. Floor and every piece of furniture was sticky. Hallways full of garbage. Stay away.

Pissed off traveler!

After a horrible day of continuous flight delays, I ended up having to stay overnight in Dallas. I made a reservation at this hotel and paid for it around 10pm on my phone from the Houston airport so I would have a place to sleep when my plane landed in Dallas. I even called the front desk after making my reservation to ask about an airport shuttle around 11:15pm (when I thought I would be getting off the plane in Dallas) and was told I would need to get an Uber or Lyft (so the lady obviously know that I would be getting in after 11pm). After more delays, I finally arrived at the hotel around 1:45am after spending around $40 on a ride share only to discover that they canceled my reservation at 11pm, just an hour after I made it. I was horrified. Stranded in a strange city, alone, in the middle of the night with nowhere to go. The old lady in the office was rude and had absolutely no empathy. I'm pissed off and will never patronize the Hometowne Studios by Red Roof chain ever!

Elevator was not working.
I was there for only 10 minutes and cops all over place arresting people.
Left the place and canceled the reservation. Staff were very understanding people and with their help I got full refund of my reservation.

No one answered for an Hour. I was sent here because of delayed flight. Drugs, hookers, I had not toilet paper, the fridge was broke, bed looked sat in with TV still on. No way to complain. When I went to just get TP there was an ambulance and a fire truck. Caos. They charged me twice and still didn’t get my money back. This is a nasty dangerous place. Uber driver even said he didn’t like going there and that was daytime. Hotels.com shouldn’t advertise or use them as a choice.

I liked that it is close to DWF airport.
I was bummed: The studio lacked a latch, the window seems not sturdy enough, dirt on stairs. The curtain had like blood stains on it! There was no remote for the TV and the lady in reception was overwhelmed a bit.

I would ask for a partial refund or some Expedia Bonus.

After standing in line outside in the cold after dark with a few unsavory characters I finally reached the small office window. I was handed a clipboard with multiple pages to initial and sign. The trash cans were overflowing. The property was littered. The room reeked of bug spray. The window drapes and HVAC unit were filthy. The window was unlocked and open. Apparently to ventilate the room or homeless people use it. The bedspread had cigarette burns in it even though I requested a non-smoking room. The table & chairs were unstable. No hangers were available. The next morning I attempted to wash and sterilize my continuous positive airflow pressure CPAP however, there was no hot water. I saw that the bathroom sink drain was clogged with paper wrappers. I went to the front office window and waited in line again. I asked the maintenance man how long before I will have hot water. He informed me that the hot water boiler broke months ago. He said the new one was on back order. He had no idea when I would have hot water. I spoke with the front desk clerk and she suggested that I wait until after 1 pm to clean my CPAP and shower. I told her that I must wash and sanitize my CPAP in the morning so that it will be dry by bedtime. I also required a hot shower in the morning. The WiFi would not download to my phone. I asked to speak with the property manager who was not available. I checked out 2 days early without a shower and without cleaning my CPAP. I am requesting a full refund.
