Hotel was in an okay location however in a run down area and is about 25 minutes walk from the train station. Staff were attentive to your needs at any hour. Food is okay however I would recommend venturing out and not relying on the convenience of their food service. Have to request to turn on hot water, which is a hit and miss, more miss than hit. It is very cold in the rooms, and the AC wasn’t working. Blankets were terrible and clearly dirty. Small improvements could go a long way to improve the overall experience. For a budget holiday, it does the job, don’t expect anything 5 star for the price you pay.

Please do not book this property there is no 24 hours hot water, no AC and top of that the receptionist guy was rude and mannerless was talking to a lady too like a mental case. And repeatedly asked me to cancel room at 10.30 pm and ask refund from expedia. Request Expedia to remove this hotel ppl will definitely end up cancellung it and asking for refund.

What the review on the website does not say is that this property is in the middle of the slums of Delhi.
We got to our room and no AC. Sheets were used, floor dirty. They had left a pair of used flip flops for us to use. A plastic bucket for use to fill with water so that we could shower. The door lock did not work, so door had to be propped with sofa in room.
Every time we would open our room door, guys would come out to see who it was. Very disturbing experience over all.

Btw, Uber had to drop off in the closest Main Street as they could access the hotel since it was inside a slum.

Okay for an overnight stop only!

Hotel staff were very nice, but the hotel is just in a very dirty alley between sangtrashan and DB Gupta road, from which you constantly feel a little unsafe especially after dark. Very good location for the New Delhi train station, but Arakashan road or Main Bazaar are closer and feel more safe!

Good location on Gupta Road.

Su Shree is at a good location in an alley off of Gupta Road. Accessible by foot from the Airport Express train line. In my room, the sink p-trap was not installed, just a direct line from the sink drain to the outlet drain, allowing sewer gasses to enter the bathroom, and the room. I blocked the smell with a shot of shaving cream on the drain. The alley is quiet, so that is good, since Gupta Road is very crowded, very busy with much honking. Gupta road is very filthy.

Upstairs is a very inexpensive, simple, open-air restaurant that prepares very delicious food; for 300 to 400 rupees, expect a filling, delicious meal.

A good place in Pahar Ganj

Hotel Susree is a short walk from New Delhi train station and a short walk to my favorite eating place. My room didn't have a window with day light, which I usually like, but even that was good for a long nights sleep after lots of travel. The folks there were helpful. All in all it was a convenient location, clean, quiet place with all the amenities including good wifi- and budget priced.

Nice'ish place to stay

If your staying here, be prepared for your driver not to be able to find it. We took a pre-paid taxi from the airport and the driver spent 30 minutes driving around and asking directions before we managed to find it (at 3:30 am!). Its in a very busy part of Delhi, near the railway station and not too far from Connaught Place. Some staff were not very helpful, but others were great. No view from our room, and the air-con didn't work at all. Room service food was tasty and cheap enough. The tour/travel guy at the front desk was great and very helpful.

OK for a short stay

Good location for New Delhi railway station, although not much around for tourists in terms of restaurants. The room service dinner we ordered was excellent and delivered very quickly. Room was very noisy (road noise), but I guess most hotels in Delhi will have this problem. Overall, it's fine for a 1 night stop over, at a reasonable price.

Good hotel for the price, staff was friendly nice hot shower. The tour guide in the building was charging much higher for train and bus tickets. We got ours for less than half at the tourist ticket office, that was is the train station nearby. Hotel was in a good location

Very clean, basic hotel, with great staff and food

I've spend quite some time in India travelling. As someone on a tight budget, I've mostly come across accommodations with VERY POOR hygiene and discomfort. This hotel is an exception. Although the room rates of Su Shree are quite steep (in other words, too expensive) the room was exceptionally clean. A BIG PLUS!! Also, the room service (they don't have a separate restaurant) entails out of a very extensive list of tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner options for affordable prices. Which counter balances the steep room rates. The food was better than at the neighboring restaurants. The location is alright, the water in the shower was mostly warm, and although the 'deluxe' room I rented was really basic (with no windows) it did have a couple of chairs and a table. In addition, the staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the hotel has it's own tourist office with affordable trips to Agra or taxi-services. Only real downside was the poor Wifi-connection, but that seems inherent to Indian hotels. To summarize, if you're looking for a hassle free accommodation with good hygiene, food and a helpful staff, this is definitely a recommendation! Despite the slightly overpriced room rates.

I had booked the hotel online for only one day because I was not sure how it would turn out. Based on my experience on the first day ,I extended my stay. Overall, the facilities and the staff at the hotel were very decent. The cleanliness was fine too. The only drawback, which results due to the location, is the occasional noise . That can be a bit disturbing sometimes, especially when a person is trying to sleep or focus on some work. Nevertheless, I would recommend the hotel as it has state of the art facilities and is very economical.

Cheap hotel good for night between trains

Very close to pahargunj main baazar (easy walk) and new delhi train station. Nice hot water for a real shower with pressure. Beds soft and comfortable. Staff responded to issues promptly.
Overall Hotel dark and cramped in a back alley. The 2nd floor noisy. Faux decor including lights and cupboards. Staff good problem solvers for issues that arose such as dirty water for the cup of tea replaced with clean.

Would use again for stop over only.

Good hotel in Delhi next to railstation

Hotel Su Shree is a good hotel providing facilities such as warm blanket and warm water in winter which is appreciable ! Staff is efficient and food is very good. European travellers will appreciate the hotel which is nearly the basic comfort expected in an hotel in Europe.
Location is also fine, not too far from railstation and metrostation.

Hotel is away from Main Bazar Rd which is a sanctuary from the madness. Rooms are very comfortable and clean with hot water whenever you want it. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Probably the only negative thing is the noise on the third floor. Kitchen is directly above and the staff can be very noisy. Listening bodily functions from 6.30am onwards is not a nice way to be woken up! Noise and loud conversations continue until past midnight.I won't say anymore than that, but try and avoid the 3rd floor.

We booked this hotel on Expedia, based on other reviews.
The rooms are clean, the hotel staff is very helpfull and the hotel is near Connaught place (15 minutes walking, but if you don't like walking riksha's are everywhere).
Wifi is good :-)

Nice hotel with attentive personnel

The hotel is comfortably situated in Paharganj near New Delhi train station. The room and towels are clean, AC, nice breakfast brought on time.The personnel is very attentive. They wrote me a few days before my arrival, offered a pickup from the airport and sent me the directions of how to get to the hotel from New Delhi metro station. They also agreed to keep the luggage after check out and let us have a shower before our departure from Delhi by train.

Clean room but bad experience

Though the room itself was clean and not a bad value, we had some complications that resulted in a bad overall experience. Our flight from Kathmandu was delayed for over 8 hours and then eventually cancelled until the next morning. During this time, we had no wifi or phone access (there wasn't even a payphone available at the airport) so we were not able to call Su Shree. Eventually in the the morning I was able to send a quick email explaining our situation. When we arrived in Dehli, we used a pay phone to re-arrange our pickup through Su Shree. We arrived, hungry and exhausted from over 24 hours of traveling to find that we were being charged 1900 rupees (around $30 and nearly six times the normal rate) for our pickup since we had not shown up the day before. This was very frustrating, since the hotel had all of our flight details and a quick call to the airport could have informed them of our delay. On top of this, they refused to refund our first night (that we missed) and offered no apologies, instead just blamed us for not showing up. This could have been overlooked if the rest of our stay had been pleasant. Unfortunately, we were placed in a room thar had a vent connected to the coon area where we could overhear all conversations and an extremely loud phone that rang until all hours of the night. The staff, though plentiful, were not friendly and the breakfast, though included, was small and poor.

Depuis 2015, donc 10 ans, je séjourne très régulièrement dans cet hôtel. J'en suis donc très satisfait. Le personnel est professionnel, les chambres confortables à ce prix et propres. L'environnement de Paharganj peut rebuter certains mais l'hôtel est proche d'une grande avenue par laquelle accéder si vous ne voulez pas passer par le dédale des ruelles de Paharganj. On y trouve tous les magasins et services utiles ; les moyens de transport ne sont pas très éloignés.

Second avis car 2 séjours séparés par 3 nuits (et autre catégorie de chambre). A chaque passage à Delhi depuis 2015, je séjourne dans cet hôtel et il me donne toujours satisfaction quelle que soit la catégorie des chambres. Il est situé dans Paharganj, mais pas dans au coeur des ruelles, à quelques mètres d'une grande avenue, mais sans bruit, à distance raisonnable des moyens de transports (une gare, 2 lignes de métro). Les chambres sont propres, le wifi est bon. Les repas peuvent être servis en chambre (plus sur le toit terrasse malheureusement).

４日間滞在しました。初日10時くらいに到着しましたが、チェックイン時間前にも関わらず部屋を用意してくれたり、最終日もフライトが深夜だったのでチェックアウト後も荷物を無料で預かってくれました。親身に対応してくれるホテルです。

Stayed for 4 days, arriving at 10am before check-in, the hotel served a room for me, also after checking-out they still keep my luggage. Staffs are really kind.

Sehr gutes Budget Hotel für Delhi

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und ist dennoch sehr ruhig gelegen, sodass man dem Trubel der Großstadt entkommen kann. Das Personal spricht so mittelgutes englisch, wirkt oft verpeilt, ist aber sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant auf dem Dach ist fast immer leer, aber die Preise sind gut und das Essen schmeckt. Probiert mal die Masalla Milk, schmeckt klasse!

Clean hotel with good location

I stayed 2 nights, the room was big and clean. The bathroom was a bit smelly though. Food was delicious and at a reasonable price. It is located near main bazar, new Delhi train station and -most important- near metro so you can easily go to the airport for only 60 rupees. The street in which it's located is rather small and without public light, but this is not hotel's fault. Besides you can arrive to it from one of the main avenues.

dobrze położony hotel na zwiedzanie Delhi

Miejsce położone kawałek od głównej ulicy co powoduje, że jest w nim ciszej. Blisko do Main Bazaar i do dworca oraz stacji metra. Na górze na dachu dobra restauracja gdzie jedliśmy fajne śniadania.
Wadą było wyjście okna na szyby wentylacyjne, nie miałem żadnych widoków i w pokoju trochę duszno bez klimatyzacji.
