Best place in Boksburg

Been staying at this hotel for over 15 years. It's perfectly suited for our needs and never disappoints.
All the people there are very friendly and accommodating. Its location is perfect to access the airport, shopping malls and the road network to other parts of Gauteng.
Security is on point and for sure there is nothing to complain about

Noise levels within the compound is high. Although the room is clean and comfortable, and the mattress and linen is high quality, a good nights rest was not possible due to noise levels - and it is as if noise 'travels' within the property.

Overall, my stay was very good, but when I got my room, they just finished cleaning it. I was nauseated by the cleaning solution used. I was not able to enter my room until an hour later.

The ladies in the morning on the front desk are well oriented of customer service. During the night they are not. They lack communication skills and customer service. Example, I tried to order delivery pizza and they wouldn't help. I let them I needed their assistant on making a local phone call and they both guys basically got upset. The older security man one came to and basically told me hang on the phone like don't call reception. Then, I went to the reception and they wouldn't even apologize for not assisting. It seems they are just oriented into security that is it. So if you check in at night don't expect much.

Nice hotel close to airport and the malls

The hotel is in a very quiet neighbohood with very little traffic and even though its in Boksburg closd to OR Tambo airport you hardly notice the air traffic.It hàs very mordern appearance on a big area with good free parking and if you opt for other rooms they have lock up garages.The breakfast was good the aircon works very well .The standard room was neat and spacious bu the tv is too small.First day wifi worked well but second and third day we could on acess it around the reception area..overall a very good place to stay at a reasonable cost.

Unaware that \"budget\" meant a re-purposed garage with a fuzzy tiny TV, no soaps/shampoo and no fridge. Stay was comfortable but not recommended for more than a day. 150 M \"free\" wi fi for my 4 day stay was not even enough for e-mail. and if you ask for my review but reserve the right to remove it, why am I bothering?

Give this hotel a miss

I booked this as the last stop of my journey as I had a early flight the next day. Having spent the week in another 4 star establishment at the same rate, I assumed that it would be of the same standard. I was met by rather surly staff who were not too forthcoming with information. This hotel cannot be listed as a 4 star establishment. Upon arrival, the room smelled as if it had not been used or refreshed in months. The towels were old and frayed, the toilet seat cracked,both movie magic channels were frozen. We called several times and was given the run around by the manager. I was asked to pay R100.00 for the airport shuttle, despite it being advertised as free on the website. I protested and could not be given a reason as to why this was asked. My partner was leaving before 6.30am and could not be accommodated with a lunch pack. There is no hairdryer, no two pin power point or a long mirror for dressing. The breakfast was equally awful, no sausages, uncooked baked beans out of a can, canteen style table/chairs and a chicken stew for persons not eating bacon. This is a total contrast to what is advertised.

Another great stay!

This was a repeat stay at Europrime Hotel for me and it was even better than the last one. I loved my room, the balcony and private garage were great. The front desk was absolutely wonderful, and I want to especially thank Linda for such excellent customer service. She's a gem. The shuttle driver George was very courteous and went above and beyond the call of duty.
The one issue I had during my last stay was terrible Wi-Fi reception. This is definitely not an issue anymore. The Wi-Fi is great, and guests get a certain allowance for free, after which one can purchase additional data.
All in all I had a great stay. I wish it had been more than 1 night. I'll definitely be back

We have stayed here a couple of other times and it was fine. This time we were put in the back. The lighting in our room was very dim, especially in the bathroom. Before we had a fridge and hair dryer. This time no fridge and I had to put a deposit down for the hairdryer. The little touches were missing, like no towel to put down in front of the shower door so the water went all over.

Convenient stay for jet setters

This hotel has a little bit of everything. You can stay in rooms like a regular hotel or you can stay in flats that are more like self-catering units with a garage for you vehicle. The staff is very helpful and the airport shuttle was great. We left too early to try the breakfast.

Clean hotel. Budget rooms are basic but clean and good value. Free breakfast is excellent. Service from front desk staff fantastic! Planning to stay already during return trip. Good to reconfirm pick up times at the airport with their shuttle, as we had to call for the pick up even after reminding them that morning. Overall though it was a good experience.

Pleasantly surprised!

I spent 2 nights at this hotel, and i must say i was pleasantly surprised. It was a great price for a decent place. The airport shuttle service is very convenient for transfers to and from the airport, and so is the shuttle to the mall (at a small price). When i arrived i was given the wrong room (2 beds instead of 1), but that was quickly remedied by the front desk. I loved my room, especially the glass shower inside the room itself. It was unique, and a first for me. I was never able to figure out the temperature control, but it wasn't too cold so i was fine. The breakfast was great! They served a little bit of everything, and staff was courteous. I only have 2 complaints about my stay, the first being that the WiFi reception was terrible in the rooms and common areas. The second is that after my first night, the housekeeper just barged into my room without bothering to knock or check if anyone was in the room, which i found rather rude and unprofessional. Perhaps something to hang on the door to alert staff would be worth looking into.
Overall, i enjoyed my stay at Europrime and will certainly look them up again for future visits.

This hotel is close to the airport which is why we picked it. It's so-so. The wifi did not work well. Breakfast had a lot of options which was nice. The female staff during the day was awesome! They helped arrange the shuttle for us and kept our bags for the weekend while we went to Victoria Falls. The male staff at night was awful. They were quite rude and very unhelpful when we were missing towels and pillows in our room. I'd only stay here again if I'm using it as a crash pad before a flight the next day. It's too far to get into the city for sightseeing.

We stay at the hotel a lot and this time it was really not up to standards. Breakfast was not what it used to be. Shower in the room did not work properly. I requested clean towels at 3o'clock on Saturday afternoon and by Sunday 10 o' clock have not recieved that yet. Service was really bad this time. Don't think i'll book there again.

We arrived in early hours and the manager, Connie, really looked after us after a tiring flight. We had a hearty breakfast before having a rest. During that time Connie and her wonderful friendly staff sorted out the tour that we wanted, arranged dinner and transport for us, and also obliged with making calls for us as global roaming wasn't working. Accommodation was very comfortable, and we were upgraded to ensure we had a needed fridge for medication. It was a safe and secure environment in Boksburg. I highly recommend, especially for women travelling who want to feel safe.

AM DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WIFI service all through out my stay I could not work with my Ipad not for one day,I was Lock out of my business for the 3days I spend in the hotel.every other things are okay ,but where there is no internet facility one it loosing business, our world of today is base on internet, please work on it.the Mall is far and difficult getting a taxi to take you to the Mall and I notices you don't like the black guest. You give more attention to the white than the black that is not good business relationship.the Breakfast is good.

Gates that opened and closed with a big noise throughout the night kept me awake. I don't drink Ricoffee ... really? I suggest get booms like all the other hotels - noise levels are low - and keep some Nescafe in the rooms.

Quiet Place in Safer Neighborhood

Not many plane pass over even with it being near Tambo. I stayed at the Europrime Guesthouse previously and it has several planes fly over day and night. I will likely stay here in the future because it is near several stores and restaurants just around the corner that are a very safe walk from the hotel. One can purchase fishing gear, hunting gear, food, electronics, etc. and not need a taxi. Stayed for 3 nights. Excellent and helpful staff. Room was clean and well appointed.

Located just south of Tambo Airport and very convenient to the highway leading to Kruger National Park, this was an excellent choice for an overnight stay before heading to Kruger. The hotel was an excellent value and had computers offering 24 hour internet access and a good breakfast, in addition to secure parking and a comfortable room.

Nice hotel. Booked 2 nights through Expedia and then 2 night at the front desk. Is cheaper through Expedia by $12.5/night. Far from anywhere of interest. Joburg is a huge city and apparently unsafe to move in public transportation so had to move around in taxi to every place I wanted to go. That cost me a fortune compared to the cost of the stay, parks and food. The internet was a real pain. Think it was fixed the day I left but did not work well in my first 3 nights.
They pick you up/drop off from and to the airport. Very convenient if you do not not Joburg.

not far from the airport, has shuttle service

we (me and husband) need to stay in Joberg for 1 night for transit flight, used other hotel before, but this one is much better.

Location: it's about 10-15 min drive from the airport, hotel provide shuttle service, our flight was 6am, need to go to airport early, the shuttle was waiting for us at 4:30am sharp, it was a great service.

Room: the whole facility looks like a townhouse, 2 floor with each garage at the bottom. Clean, modern, uptodate facilities, provide aircondtion, TV, electric hot pot, tea coffee etc. we stayed in the 1st floor, seem like 2nd flr has a balcony, even park spot.

Service: we did not use room service, neither had any time for breakfast...Wifi worked pretty well.

Pro: shuttle to airport, around the block has couple of resturants/bar opens late, we had dinner in an indian resturant, decent price, great food, feels safe walking around.

Cons: couldn't think of any...

I would recommend this hotel.

Good for a quick business stay over near airport

More than I expect from an airport hotel : very kind and caring staff, very nice room with balcony looking into a calm back side, fridge, coffee maker, news papers, very good wi fi, etc.

Never heard any airplane bothering my sleep, although there were construction next door early every morning. Beautiful breakfast. Good enough business center. Parking for everybody. Excellent shuttle bus driving you almost where you want, when you want, even if you arrive late at night. If they can do it, they will do it. The quality of this hotel lies in the beautiful attitude of the staff. Immediate repair of anything that goes wrong.

My only one major set back, with major consequences : I guessed the front desk would be more reliable than my jetlagged mind and ill-adjusted clock, so I requested a wake up call at 7:45 am, got it at... 8:45 am ! Everything else was very functional.

Overnight Spot for the Airport

This place is hard to find. It has no restaurant, but there is a locked security gate with guard. It seems to be a motel that has been remodeled into small apartments for workers. They provide free transport to and from the airport. I stayed as a single female, and I felt a little uneasy. I also had to leave very early for the airport, so I cannot evaluate the breakfast. I got nothing. If you just need a bed and bathroom for a short time, it is certainly sufficient.

Excellent Stopover

We stayed here for two nights. This motel represents excellent value for money. All the staff were delightful and really helpful. They arranged an excellent taxi tour of Jo-berg for us. The airport pick-up worked very well. Breakfast very good. Rooms comfortable and very clean. A safe pleasant area with good restaurants a few minutes walk away. Highly recommended.

Excellent Value

After a very difficult start (my doing), the hotel staff, especially Connie was great...very helpful and reassuring. The full breakfast each morning was great, and the location was ideal for daily excursions from J-burg. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others without hesitation.

Good place to stay on a layover.

Decent very clean hotel with a very nice staff. Nothing fancy, but within easy walking distance to several good restaurants and a shopping center, which is a real treat if you are using the hotel as a layover for a night. Other hotels like this have no options for dinner or anything to do nearby. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Excellent place , very delicious buffet Breakfast!. but... the shower floor design is not well thought through. The level of the shower floor is exactly the same level as the outside flooring, resulting in water running from the shower area to the rest of the bathroom.!
