Our stay at the Atlantic was for a family Wedding.The service was excellent and the staff very attentive during the celebrations…….as far as our stay with you we found the Bed rather uncomfortable for our liking and surprised to discover there were no U.S.B.ports in the room to charge phones etc.The last night my Sister ,found her room key didn’t work, and after four attempts by the night Porter it wasn’t resolved, leaving her unable to return to her room if she wished to leave, fortunately she was next door too ourselves to call on.she suffers from Anxiety and this episode made her rather uncomfortable,but more surprisingly the only comment made from the Receptionist on check out, was it had been noted and it was an unfortunate affair and these things happen,no offer of a refund in compensation for her inconvenience.

The staff is very proffesional and friendly. Just across the street of Kiel's train station. It has all the requirements of a good hotel even though it is not a luxurious one.

This hotel is situated at the Kiel waterfront (near ferry port) and opposite to the Main Train station. It is fully renovated with spacious rooms and a lot of daylight owing to large windows. Breakfast is a bit problematic as you have to queue for the table…

Atlantic is right opposite kiel hbf, with a shopping mall next to it. Staff are super friendly. Room was big and spacious. We were here to visit family so it was an excellent choice for us. Highly recommended.

The rooms are extremely quiet with very comfortable beds.

My room was next to the lift but I never heard anything from the hallway.

Online check-in ahead of time meant that I just spent literally seconds to check in on arrival.

The cocktail bar on the top floor is not to be missed with very special creations.

I loved the breakfasts with plenty of both hot and cold selections and a different vitamin smoothie \"shot\" each morning.

Location couldn't have been more perfect - directly across from the train station and the coach stop from Hamburg airport.

There is also truly extensive indoor shopping 1 block away with the pedestrian zone about 5 minutes walk.

Overall I couldn't have been happier with my choice and I will stay there again next time I am in Kiel.

We stayed at the Atlantic Hotel for a week. The staff was super friendly and professional. The hotel is very child friendly. Our daughter really enjoyed the \"children's play corner\" in the breakfast area. The breakfast buffet was also great. We'd definitely come back!

We stayed for a night in this hotel. It was a very cold and windy day. When we got to the room it was freezing cold. Then they came and tried to fix it. After a few hours no difference. They came back and said they could not do anymore and other rooms are also cold. We were paying a lot for a suit and did not expect this from a 4 star hotel. Also check out time was 11am which was another problem.

The front desk staff could be friendlier, you had to greet them.. not okay for a high end hotel ! Service was just okay in the breakfast Saal, and roof top bar was just so-so.

The hotel is very nice, seems new and clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They accommodated me when I forgot my US power adapter. The beds were quite firm, I means beds, since a \"king\" is two twin beds pushed together. The comforters on the beds are soft, but ridiculously warm and they do not put an additional sheet between you and the comforter, so it is difficult to regulate your body heat.

There was no parking at the hotel so we had to park at the Hauptbahnhof, which was super inconvenient when checking in and out, met with a shrug from reception staff.
The hotel is pretty basic but fine for a city centre train station hotel. Breakfast was fine but with awkward service, and you are charged for it whether you go or not.
We stayed here once and then found a better hotel in the area.

Mini Kiel week.

Both me and a friend booked a couple of rooms when we were in the city for a couple of nights. Opposite the train station and on the the water front which has a ferry based taxi up and down the front. Room was clean and comfy. Food was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Roof top bar has good selection and good views. Happily stay again.

Had booked a suite for about $400 a night for New Year's Eve. Bar was closed because of a soldout event and I couldn't get a drink. Unfriendly staff told me every guest was informed via email which was a lie. No room service available to order a drink. Never again!

Overall a good experience

Enjoyed the stay in comfortable beds in spacious room. Well positioned hotel with train station and bus stops in front but still not noisy and crowded outside the hotel. Has a magnificent bar on the top floor with views of the Kiel harbor. Efficient and helpful staff at the reception and the restaurant. The main shopping centre is across the road with plenty of choice for coffee and food.

Hotel is in a convenient located, parking right behind the building. Rooms are modern and spacious. However for those who are looking to exercise during the stay think twice about staying here. I was here last year and the single treadmill was hardly moving. Belt was not maintained to the point it was unsafe to use. I came here this week assuming such issues would have been taking care of by now and was shocked to see the single treadmill thry had was simply missing. No option to run although hotel pictures show a treadmill. The elyptical was wobbly and so couldn't use it either. For such a nice hotel brand they surely can do better that this for guests who want to work out during their stay

Fourth stay at this hotel. High quality establishment and well staffed. Good restaurant and a top-floor bar with city views. Excellent rooms. Niggles for me: no iron/ironing board in the room; charged my colleague Eur9 to park for 2 hours for dinner - as a paying customer in THEIR restaurant, meeting a semi-regular guest.... Very small things, but when you pay high prices for a hotel, I want to see a little discretion applied.

Very bad service !!!

I was eating in the hotel restaurant, it took them more than 90 min to serve us our food, eventually the dish that I ordered was just bad ! when receiving the bill the hotel insist on charging us for the dish that we returned, claiming that the staff of the restaurant TASTED from my dish and according to them \"it is fine and the problem is with me \", absolutely disgusting if you ask me!!!

Very bad service, I will never come back to this hotel again.

Great Hotel with excellent service.

We stayed in six hotels over the course of our trip and this was by far the best one. The hotel and room are modern, clean and comfortable. The service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar provided excellent views of Kiel.

Perfect location and wonderful staff

The hotel is perfectly situated outside the Kiel Hbf and if you take the Kielius bus from Hamburg Airport you will be dropped off right outside. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful - even when we arrived just after midnight!

Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable - even the standard size that we took.

The breakfasts are amazing, with a wide range of choice at the buffet as well as many additional options that can be cooked to order by the obliging chef. It was all delicious.

The hotel had a great ambiance and we had a wonderful weekend there, even opting to purchase \"late checkout\" so we could have a good lie in and use the room until 5pm after a fantastically fun wedding close by!

Very nice hotel near major transport hub.

This is an excellent hotel and the staff are great. It is very conveniently located near the main bus and train station. We caught the bus from Hamburg Airport and got delivered across the road from the Hotel. It has two great eating venues, the Pier 16 restaurant downstairs and Deck 8 on level 8, where you can sit and drink and eat and look out over the Fjord. I strongly recommend this Hotel to anyone who is going to visit Kiel.

Fantastic stay in a lovely hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was nice and had some extra touches. Lovely bathroom, well designed with large walk in shower. Of particular note was the breakfast which was by far one of the best I have recently had. A very nice stay.

Great position just opposite the train station. Nice rooms, well appointed with a good-sized bathroom with a full-sized bath (so many chain hotels have the 3/4 baths that I, at 6'3\" (1.93m) can never fit into. Breakfast buffet was superb with something for everyone.
2 negatives for me: the fitness room was woefully inadequate for this standard of hotel with cheap machines of a poor standard (I have a better cross-trainer in my garage!).
The Internet, even using the cable in the room, had an extremely poor bandwidth. My attempts to stream video were met with constant buffering and, in the end, I gave up. For a top-end hotel looking to attract the business traveller, this is unacceptable these days.

Modern hotel very close to train, bus and ferry terminals. Nice rooms and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was great with good selection. Bar on the 8 th floor was busy and fun. Took advantage of the small gym and sauna on the 7 th floor. Again very nice.

Stayed one night on way back to Copenhagen, very central, easy to find, across street from train station and just a few blocks from main pedestrian area. Very comfortable room, parking was convenient and reasonably priced.
Dinner was very good but service too slow. Breakfast was very good.

Das Zimmer war passend und das Badezimmer sehr geräumig. Beim Frühstück hatte man eine große Auswahl und war sehr lecker.
Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und man ist zu Fuß gleich in der Innenstadt.
In der Bar hat man einen schönen Ausblick auf die Kieler Förde.

Hotellet er fint. Det ligger lige i centrum af Kiel hvilket gjorde det nemt at komme rundt. Hotellets restaurant var rigtig god, vi spiste både morgenmad og aftensmad der. Jeg synes der var en del larm udefra, men jeg er også meget lyd sensitiv. Personalet var fine og hjalp med at få en seng op til vores søn. Der er parkering på hotellet til 22 EUR pr dag, det synes jeg er lidt dyrt.

Vi ankom til et værelse der ikke var rengjort, selvom dette ikke var muligt efter hotellets egne procedurer. Fik hurtigt et nyt og det var rigtig fint. Generelt virker det som et rigtigt lækkert hotel med en god central beliggenhed. Minus var ventetid til at få et bord til morgenmad. Selvom vi skulle melde et tidspunkt til at ville spise, så var der alligevel 15-20 minutters ventetid. De var ikke gearet til så mange mennesker.

Kunne godt vende tilbage, bare ikke til juletid.

Dejlig suite med god plads, pæn indret, god støjdæmpning. Sengene var gode, men dynerne var fiberdyner som var svære at ånde i og hovedpuderne var ligeledes fiberpuder, som ingen af os syntes var gode. Vi droppede dem helt i løbet af natten.

Selve hotellet, lå rigtig godt tæt på julemarkederne, var pænt, venligt personale og lækker morgenmad. Kan klar anbefales, næste gang tager vi dog vores egne hovedpuder med ;-)

Vi er en familie på tre hvor to voksne er kommet hjem med virus i maven, efterfulgt af opkast og diarré. Har sjældent oplevet så dårlig en morgenmadsbuffet både ift. rengøring og ift. udvalget samt kvaliteten af maden. Personalet blev nærmest fornærmet da vi spurgte dem om de kunne tørre bordet inden vi satte os.

Morgenmaden var forvirrende. Vi kunne ikke finde et ledigt bord og alle de varme retter kunne man ikke komme til da folks stod i kø til vafler. Der var heller ikke nogen skilte på maden så man kunne se hvad det var.

Sehr modernes Hotel in Kiel, direkt gegenüber vom Hauptbahnhof. Innenstadt und Einkaufspassage ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
Sauberes, modern eingerichtetes Zimmer das nichts zu wünschen übrig läßt.
Hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet mit toller Aussicht auf den Hafen.
Parkgarage direkt unter dem Hotel gegen extra Gebühr (22€ für 24h)
Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder Übernachten.
