Hotel is nice and breakfast is satisfactory. Hotel has no Air conditioning, but lucky for me, it spring time when I checked in. I will skip this hotel during summer months. Also, avoid room 202- I think it's the only room with a window that opens widely. The rest of the hotel rooms has upper window part that tilts about 5 inches outward allowing air to get in- not intruder.

Convenient and clean hotel

Lovely place to stay, very clean and friendly staff. We stayed there 5 years ago when it just opened and it was still spotless. Council introduced parking fees, ie, no guaranteed parking but easy excess to under cover parking close by for Euro 9 overnight (need to ask at concierge desk).

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly! The rooms were clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The breakfast was really good - lots of choice and delicious - the coffee was especially good and available whenever you wanted it! Overall, a good hotel which was excellent value for money!

Comfort is exactly the word to describe this hotel

Other hotels would do well to copy this one, its very hard to fault. The location is a couple minutes walk from the old town, the beds are very comfortable, breakfast good, staff very accommodating and friendly, has its own park places but there are also many free places in the next streets, chocolates by your bed, slippers, complimentary mineral water (two large bottles), free coffee/tea from a good machine, blackout curtains, quiet area, slept very well, very clean and new, Only downsides I can think of is there's no views to the water or the old town, but that is only a couple of minutes walk.

Fint hotel

Ganske fint hotel. Vi var på gennemrejse på vej hjem til DK og havde brug for en overnatning, hvor vi kunne parkere lige ved hotellet. Det var der fuldstændig styr på, da vi ankom. Fin service og skøn morgenmad. Rent og pænt og hundevenligt. Skal jeg på shopping i Kiel, vil jeg vælge et hotel tættere på centrum, da vi altid har hund med, men man kan dog sagtens gå til centrum.

Gemütliches Hotel mit gut ausgestattenen Zimmern. Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer, das ausreichend Platz bot. Vom Hotel aus ist die Kiellinie sehr gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Parkplätze finden sich vor dem Haus, sind jedoch gebührenpflichtig. Das gebotene Frühstück war gut und das Personal aufmerksam. Wir können das Hotel guten Gewissens empfehlen.

Et fint hotel, pænt og rent. Der er parkering i P hus 2min gang fra hotellet der kan bruges når man spøger i receptionen. Morgen buffeten er ok, ikke kæmpe men der er hvad man skal bruge. Der er en del restauranter lige om hjørnet og by mitten kan nås på 10 min gang.

Super hotel for a fair price !

The Hotel has a nice central location and a very service minded staff. The hotel are updated and the rooms has a high cleaning standards. The breakfast has a big variety but was without bacon for the scrambled eggs :-)
It is possible to book a garage, but this is only for smaller cars, bikes or motorcycles.
I will highly recommend this hotel and we will also use this hotel for our next visit in Kiel.

Bedre service er sjældent set

Sikke en god oplevelse. Servicen fra personalet er helt i top, både ved ind og udtjekning, men også personalet ved morgenmaden og rengøringen.
Sengene er lidt bløde efter vores smag, men alt det er glemt når servicen er så fantastisk alle steder. Vi kan kun på det varmeste anbefale hotellet. Vi kommer i hvert fald igen.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Das Hotel ist nicht stylish schick, aber das braucht es auch nicht. Sehr sauber, persönlich und nettes Personal - Begrüssung mit Namen beim Frühstück, das hatten wir selten... Zudem darf 24h Kaffee/Tee aus dem Kaffee-Vollautomaten gezogen werden, WLAN wurde von unseren Kids als gut bewertet.

Hyggeligt hotel med venligt og serviceminded personale. Dejligt stort badeværelse, masser af TV-kanaler på fjernsynet, herunder DR, TV 2 og og BBC. Das Hotel ist für einen Besuch der Stadt Kiel sehr zentral gelegen. Man ist schnell in der Innenstadt und auch im Hafengelände. Die Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr ist optimal, die Linienbusse halten in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Ett väldigt mysigt hotell i ett otroligt lugnt område trots att stort sjukhus låg jämte över gatan. Servicen va så himla underbar och man va varmt välkommen. Rummen va stora och luftiga och rena. Badrummet va rent och smarriga tvål sorter som luktade underbart när man använde dem. Frukosten va mycket fin och god. Personalen va väldigt goa och service medvetna. Ett hotell som kommer bli bokat nästa gång man åker till Kiel.

Never been in a hotel with this level of hospitality,from the people at the reception to the people in the breakfast area in the morning. Its not a high end luxury hotel. But its cosy, warm and clean.
Easy access, easy parking, free coffee/hot chocolate. All in all an extremely positive experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has wonderful service, excellent rooms and is unbelievably service-minded. It is also homely and very comfortable and within walking distance of the city centre.

Fint lille hotel, med rigtig god service. Beliggenheden var passende i forhold til midtbyen. Værelserne var fine i forhold til et 3-stjernet hotel. Eneste minus var at der hver aften sad nogle i morgenmadslokalet og drak øl m.m. og larmede så det var svært at få ro, få lige det stoppet.
