The check inn took forever. Our room was crooked, felt like a hill from the door to the corner of the room. The bathroom was full of spiders and limescale. The carpet looked dirty. The crib was poked holes in the sides. Nice staff.

Hotel staff was very professional although while checking in, they made us wait uncomfortably for some minutes while they discussed something in German which we didn't understand, before acknowledging we were there standing and in need of service. Other than that, our stay was a pleasant one. The hotel location is excellent because it is right across the central train station and the mall. Also, the hotel provided a free coffe and bus pass if guest want to see the city throughout the duration of your stay.

Easy to stay at hotel 1 block from the train station. A little cramped but clean and staff spoke adequate English and were helpful when needed. Good breakfast with a lot of choices. Close to all public transport. Take advantage of the 9 E pass to use most public transit in Germany while you can. That's quite a help to satisfy your wanderlust.

The Berliner Hof was in an excellent location, one block from the Hauptbahnhof and central bus station, with many restaurants nearby. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. I had to take a bus to the Hamburg airport at 5AM, well before the dining room was open for breakfast. However, the evening before they asked if I would like to take a lunch box the next morning, and I said two pieces of bread and a piece of cheese and a bottle of water would be fine. When I check out the next morning they had 4 sandwiches (2 ham, 2 cheese), some sausages, an apple, and a bottle of juice Just excellent. And the regular breakfast was very good too.

A brilliant hotel for a short stay in Kiel. 5 min walk to the train station, airport bus and local busses and some great walks along the harbour. Good range of shops nearby, too. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and staff super cheery.

Værelserne var faktisk overraskende store og med både dobbeltseng, 3-personers sofa, skrivebord m. stol og div. skabs-/hyldearrangementer. Badeværelserne var også pænt store og meget rene. Det eneste uheldige set ift. et flerdages ophold primo december var, at radiatorerne i værelserne ikke var supereffektive. I det ene værelse blev 1 af radiatorne først lunken at røre ved efter 40 timer - og det var den eneste i det værelse, der fungerede. I det andet værelse begyndte radiatorerne at varme efter ca. 15 timer, og med tiden blev der OK varmt i værelset. Vi boede på 4. sal (så på øverste etage) og ind mod gården, og der var meget stille oppe - ingen støj fra andre værelser og ingen larm udefra. Det var virkelig skønt.

Das Hotel liegt bei der Anreise per Bahn sehr günstig nur wenige Schritte vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Havde kun 1 overnatning. Men det var virkelig et godt hotel. Nem selvindtjekning ved skærm og venlig og imødekomme ung mand i receptionen. Værelset var stort og rent og der manglede ikke noget. Selvfølgelig var der støj fra gaden, men det kan jo ikke undgås, når man booker et hotel midt inde i byen.
Morgenmaden var fantastisk og super god service.
Min motorcykel blev låst inde i gården, uden betaling, så den stod trygt og godt.
Jeg kommer igen, og der taget jeg min hustru med.

Schönes Hotel Herzen von Kiel.
Beim Check-in würden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und uns wurde alles wichtige erzählt. Auch die anderen Mitarbeiterinnen was wir Kennenlernten schien mit dem Herzen dabei zu sein. Da wir etwas früher angereist sind könnten wir unsere Sachen einschließen lassen sodass wir die Gegend erkunden konnten. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Betten gemütlich. Die Vorteile dieses Hotels sind die freie Fahrt des öpnv und eine heiße Getränke Flatrate, die wir bei diesem kalten Wetter echt genossen haben. Das Frühstück ist absolut Bio, ansonsten durchschnittlich. Ich würde jederzeit wieder herkommen.

Das Hotel ist für den günstigen Preis ausgezeichnet. Es hat einen modernen Eingangsbereich, man konnte sich kostenlos Kaffee machen.
Ein Stellplatz kann hinzugebucht werden. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine elektrische Garage mit mehreren Etagen. Ist aber sehr einfach zu bedienen. Es passt nur kein Pick up truck rein.

Hotellet hadde ikke oversikt over at vi hadde betalt både rom og frokost. Måtte ringe Hotels.com for å få bekreftelse derifra. Hadde betalt ekstra for et comfort-rom, det var et forferdelig trist rom. Grei størrelse, men to enkeltsenger i hver ende av rommet, og ellers veldig utdatert. Burde nok vært pusset opp for flere år siden. Kommer ikke tilbake hit!

Eines der wenigen Hotels, wo man zum Frühstück noch frisches Mett bekommt! Für mich als Süddeutschen gehört das zu einem Besuch in Norddeutschland einfach dazu. Danke, dass ich das bei euch nach Langem wieder hatte.
Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es gibt hier keine Raucherzimmer mehr. Ich war im Berliner Hof schon mal zu Gast, allerdings vor vielen Jahren.

Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung, das Zimmer ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber, das Fruhstückbuffet war dem Preis angemessen, dafür aber dass man ja von Coffee Fellows übernommen wurde war die Qualität des Kaffees doch etwas dürftig, ansonsten die Lager ab top.
