Cheap stay good for a night but that’s about it.

It’s cheap enough to stay a night or two like we did. But expect it to look like the 1980’s or 90s with the condition of walls and basins it might as well be. I don’t understand how walls / sinks can be in such condition and not mentioned anywhere or the hotel doesn’t bother to do anything with it.

The property is located approximately 2 km from the Milan railway central station. The reception is open only from 8 am to 9 pm. The reception and the rooms are located in different buildings. The room is spacious and has a mini kitchen. The bed is large and comfortable. The free WiFi connection works well.

Tutto ok, ottimo residence in zona molto centrale e a buon prezzo. Tuttavia il riscaldamento era inutilizzabile, pur impostandolo al massimo la temperatura nella stanza era assolutamente uguale. Inoltre sarebbe stato bello avere una cucina un po' più fornita, non c'era neanche il sale.

Pros:
Close to tram and bus stops.
Allowed to check-in at 11am despite it is at 2pm.
Close to few shops for buying water cheap etc.
The room had a kitchen with microwave, hob and tap/sink.

Cons:
A bit run down and need major revamp. Room was tiny like a 1 bed apartment.
Sheets were dirty. So we didnt use it at all.
There were so many ants in bathroom, and got bitten a few times.
Not always manned at reception, so if you need anything outside the reception hours, no chance.
There was no coffee/tea/kettle provided. But had microwave.
AC was not great though it was on full power.

The photo posted is deceiving as the room is very small. The cleaning staffs are very friendly though. The \"hotel\" closes officially at 9 PM (all doors locked). This was not disclosed at time of booking.

i would call it 2star.breakfast in room isn’t true

It’s really clean and safe thats true.But They say theres breakfast in room but they don’t serve breakfast at all. The area is near Chinese area and its not good. There was a file in room with papers that says call reception for breakfast or any other food or drinks, but the receptionist himself told me they don’t serve anything!!!!!!!!!!Roooms are in another building and reception is in another building! Between these too buildings u should pass a mechanic service place :)

Location is accesible to all.. good value of money if you are not looking for a fancy one. There are few things i observed: the noise,you can be easily disturbed with footsteps, sounds of opening and closing of next door ,microwave not working ,and some dirt on the window area wall.. but overall staying is not bad enough,we feel safe.

We checked in on 22 December 2018 and checked out 28 December 2018 with the same sheets. We asked for the set of sheets to change without success.
The bed was a disaster and end up with a back ache. I had to consult the doctor when I arrived back in Rome.

I had a good experience overall. The beds were comfortable and the local area is great. Lidl and McDonald's are very nearby which is perfect for eating on a budget. There are two metro stations nearby too which makes travel around the city really easy. Great value for money.

Nice place which offers good value for money. It's located at about a 5/7 minute walk from the metro station Maciachini, and from there you can get everywhere, because the metro network is good and works well. The room was clean, had facilities for cooking, lots of storage space and always running hot water. Definitely recommend it!

I requested the confirmation of the booking for a parking spot. Should none was available, I also asked for a confirmation so I could manage a way to safely park my car. I received no confirmation and, wrongly, assumed a parking spot was therefore available. The hotel did not bothered informed me that no parking spot was available for my stay. That's a very bad way of managing my expectations.

Comfortable, good value residence.

Lepontina ticked all the boxes as a spacious, well equipped single studio which made an excellent base from which to explore Milan. The staff were exceptionally friendly, well informed and everything was spotless. It was a 30 min walk from Central station and the airport bus drop off point and tram no 4 goes right downtown to the historic/shopping centre from just around the corner. There are also 2 large supermarkets within 5 mins walk but one of the big pluses of Lepontina is that it’s in a traditional Italian neighborhood with great local food shops and bakeries. The Residence also has its own restaurant and offers room service. I’d definitely return!

Very functional accommodation. Kitchenette is quite useful to prepare meals. Metro station within 500 meters, within couple of stops from central station.
Staff is wonderful !

Ofcorse at This price one can’t expect luxury. This is absolute value for money.

The location, service, and views were all incredible. We were moved to a balcony room last minute because of issues with the other room. The only thing that let us down was the room wasn’t very clean. A lot of spiders webs and dead insects on the balcony, and there was damage ie the electrical outlet in the bedroom was broken

Place is clean. Bed is ok, better than some other ones from other hotels in Italy. Reception personnel were friedly and helpful. They speak very good english. Its a 3 min walk to the metro and 2 min walk to bus stop. They kept my luggage for me for about 6 hours or more after I checked out since i had To go To a 10 hour tour. I will stay there again.

Good- price value, location only a few Metro stops from train station and Duomo area, clean with ample closet room, fully stocked kitchen, working A/C. Bad- smallish and bleak rooms with prison-like windows located at end of industrial area courtyard; and mattress was not that comfortable. A pure hit-and-run traveller's room for those on budgets.

well I was there for the weekend, firstly the hotel its to old and ugly. secondly there is a Mechanic in the hotel, did tou ever saw a mechanic garage in a hotel? well I've saw it live \"awkward\". lastly on the bright side the hotel is about 5min away from the metro station. however I dont recommended it.

The property was just what I needed; a single room with heating and refrigeration allowing \"picnic\" meals. The front desk staff was VERY helpful. This is such a good idea. If some other company wanted to create luxury efficiency rooms, I think there would be a market for it.

Nice hotel close to the Alcatraz

I booked this hotel as I was attending a concert at the nightclub Alcatraz which is 100 metres away. On arrival I was shown to my room which was clean and comfortable, just a little cold. After I mentioned the lack of breakfast tray I was told I hadn't booked breakfast but was asked if I wanted one. As I was leaving very early, I said not to worry but when I returned from the evening I found one in my room. The receptionist also very kindly booked a taxi for me for early departure to the airport. He spoke fluent English which was ever so helpful and he himself was extremely helpful. Will stay again.

Good bang for buck

Overall, it was a nice stay. Clean and comfy though the description was not entirely accurate. The price was supposed to include breakfast, however, there was no breakfast area nor food available. The front desk is staffed only from 7am to approximately 10pm, and there are now amenities available when the desk is closed. This makes it a slight problem for those who need to checkout early for early flights, etc. Metro was a 5 minute walk and the area was nice, but not spectacular. There are local pizzerias and cafes where you can get food fairly late. My tv was not working and I mentioned it to the staff the following morning, but they never ended up addressing the problem. While this wasn't too big of a problem as I don't really watch much tv, I feel that you should get what you pay for.

It is in fact a residence

This is not a hotel and as it's name indicates, this is a residence within an old building in a very bad neighborhood. The rooms are equipped with a mini kitchen so the room smelled of food. On the positive side, it was clean and quiet. I think that for someone who is staying for a long period of time in Milan can have great value, but for one night was really expensive and the value was poor.

El hombre de la recepción muy amable,habitación amplia y detalle de botellas de agua al llegar ,todo muy limpio ,camas muy comodas y nos cambiaran las toallas cada dia.
Algo alejado del centro a pie pero a 10 min de la parada del metro.
Cerca del hotel hay un carrefour 24horas,el hotelestá apartado pero en ningún momento hemos sentido inseguridad.
Salvo la primera noche q nos despertaron con algo de ruido de madrugada hemos estado muy agusto,lo recomiendo.

Chambre spacieuse, confortable et accueillante. À notre arrivée elle était très bien chauffée ce qui était très agréable par un jour de pluie. Le coin cuisine est un vrai plus, il y a un \"petit\" nécessaire de cuisine. Une piste d'amélioration serait de mettre des échantillons de sel, sucre et éventuellement huile pour que ce soit parfait. Notre séjour a néanmoins été génial, établissement à recommander !

A questi prezzi difficilmente si può fare meglio

Avevo bisogno di una camera vicino all'Alcatraz per dormire dopo il concerto. Il prezzo, paragonato ad altre strutture, è decisamente conveniente. Alla reception sono stato accolto veramente bene è la persona che lavorava quella sera era molto cordiale è simpatica. Questo è l'unico contatto che ho avuto con il personale, visto che sono partito la mattina presto. La camera è bella, comoda e pulita. Ho visto che ci sono anche i fornelli, frigo, cioè cucina completa, ma non ne ho avuto bisogno. Non ho la macchina e vado spesso a Milano per concerti. Questa era la miglior esperienza di pernottamento che ho avuto finora.
