Staff was nice. At the hotel… but… the lady that worked in the restaurant in the morning for breakfast was RUDE!! She followed myself and my fiancé as we made breakfast and didn’t follow any of the other guests (we are African American). She complained about us taking our breakfast to our room with the containers that the night guy GAVE TO US to take our dinner back to our room the night before! And then… she wrongly accused my fiancé of cursing at her the morning we checked out and followed us to the front desk and told the staff he cursed at her. We have stayed there before and Never had such an experience.

The tub had porcelain peeling from it and was poorlycauled. The lamp shades had holes from dry rot. The bed was comfortable, but the fridge was turned off and we needed items refrigerated. Would not stay again.

The hotel looks extremely rundown. Our door did not close without pushing or pulling it shut. The lock would not open the door with the key without multiple attempts. The windows were covered with bird crap. The windows are rotten wood and not safe. The TV was very limited. Was not able to access any additional apps or connect my phone to it. The shower curtain leaks on the floor said a full breakfast in that booking app but no breakfast. It said it had a pool, but it didn’t say it was outside and closed. The outside door did not appear to be safe as it never closed properly which left access for anyone to walk in. This hotel truly needs to be updated because I paid $117 for this room and when we checked in they told us it was only 79. So hotels.com ripped me off. I am not happy and will not return. I would like my money back.

This hotel has clearly passed its glory days, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. We arrived early and were able to check in. The staff was efficient and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The entry and parking were easy. I gave it three stars due to the condition of the furniture and it was advertised as full breakfast included, but in fact it offered very little.

The heater did not work in the first room; we were moved to a second room.
The room is worn and dated: chrome finish on plumbing is worn to absent. The bathtub \"floor\" (in BOTH ROOMS) was scratched -porcelain looked like vehicle tracks! The furniture is worn and scratched
The fake leather material covering a chair (again, IN BOTH ROOMS) was worn and \"chipped\" away.
Loud music and noise from a party kept us awake until 11:30 PM.
The facility is not secure since the outer door card-key didn't work and the door was propped open with a rock. (at least three doors!)
Morning \"breakfast\" was a joke: at 8AM there was 2 tiny pastries, 1/2 doz stale bagels. and some potatoes, ugly and unattractive egg things, and toast and 2 kinds of cereal.
The room charge approx $300 per night is usurious.You have an unjustifiable facility.

This was a terrible experience, it would have been worse if we had decided to stay even one night but we cancelled our two night reservation even though we did not have another place to stay. Mr. Jagannath Sharma, the general manager tried his best to find us a decent room but every room (4) had significant issues. One had a broken exterior window, another had a loose and dangerous electrical outlet in the bathroom, two of them had dead bugs in the bathroom light fixture, another one the dead bolt lock did not work. The issues went on and on until after 2 hours we gave up.

DO NOT Plan to stay at this hotel, there are much nicer places for less money very close by.

The room was nothing like the photos. Never saw bar, electric plate cover missing, no pictures on wall, no lamps. The pillows got the king bed were like square couch pillows, I had to stand on a chair to fix the curtain so it would close, the tub had no stopper, had to us a K-cup for a stopper so wife could take a bath and the most important thing the hair dryer did not work. Not a happy wife. Told front desk about everything. Did not say sorry or anything, shows how much they care.

Either the buisness is struggling to survive or ownership doesn't want to spend money on it. The furniture in the room was in poor condition, the old fashioned spring matress bed was noisy every time you turned over, the toilet cistern would not refill after use when the room above was using the shower and it was also un-flushed by the last occupant before we took the room, the curtains were torn. Everything about it was \"dated\" and needed freshening up.

Floors were dirty and old, need replacing. Bathroom floor was dirty and in disrepair. Large 1 inch gap under main door to hallway. Paint peeling off many doors and walls down hallway. Pool was green with algae and unusable. Exterior doors to parking lot did not close and lock. Overall…yuck! I tried to get help from Hotels.com but no luck. Only an AI reply recommending 3 local hotels, including the one I was complaining about. So frustrating!!

Although the facility and the room definitely need a much needed facility update. The worst part was the noise from the banquet. Kids were running around until almost midnight. We only stayed one night and needed to leave the hotel before 7:30am for a competition.

So if you do decide to stay in this hotel probably ask to be away from the banquet hall.

I liked this hotel and would stay again. As a single woman I felt safe and at ease. There is a coffee pot, microwave and small fridge in the room. The ac works well. The restaurant was clean and the bar keep friendly. I had the best cheeseburger I’ve had in a while. The room was very clean and the breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, bread, bagel, danish, coffee, waffles and multiple juices. The coffee was good, but no non-milk creamer options. The hotel is badly in need of a makeover to fit its excellent service and staff.

There was a lot of noise (water moving through pipes and lights flickering). The TV screen was damaged, so there were lines flickering on the screen.

Nestled between a highway and enclosed by a fence, It is completely isolated from any modality of travel other than a car (so Uber is the only option). The property is not well-maintained (I'd give it a 2/5), the room has had some very shoddy renovation (the bath tub finish had a chip and the drain was not screwed down) and the housekeeping stole property from the room. Front desk was unhelpful in recovering the stolen property.

This hotel is an older hotel that has been renovated. Like all older hotels, there are cosmetic issues, but they don't detract from the overall experience. The staff members with whom I had contact were friendly. The bartender was especially friendly. The room was very nice and clean. It was equipped with modern HD TV, microwave, fridge, and a coffee maker. The complimentary breakfast included scrambled eggs, a meet serving, biscuits, and oatmeal, as well as simple pastries and bread.

In all, this hotel met my expectations. The bed was comfortable and the room was well equipped with what is needed for a brief stay. I didn't use the pool or the fitness room. While we didn't dine there, the hotel has an in-house restaurants that specializes in Indian food.

One suggestion I have is that the staff should be given a polo shirt with a hotel logo and be asked to where khaki or black pants. Being greeted by a person in a baseball cap doesn't lead to the hotel being considered above two stars. However, overall, I'd give this Clarion 3 stars.

The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The only real problem was entering the hotel grounds from the highway and exiting for exiting. There was no real acceleration lane, and it seemed very dangerous. I like the self serve breakfast The laundry was on almost almost impossible to use because of all the steps it took to get approval. When we entered the room, we noticed that one side of the bed. The floor was dirty and obviously hadn’t been cleaned. We asked that that be done, but it was never done. We asked for an additional towel and we never got it. Would you recommend this to someone else no.

It was for most of the late clean however this hotel is super old! Our room smelled terribly, the ac barely worked. Just old all around. Breakfast buffet was very limited. After breakfast they had a religious ceremony you could hear all over the first floor and it was super uncomfortable. Staff was ok.

First impression was good, front desk ckerk was very helpful, respectful and all the information was given clearly. Once we got in the room, it had a humidity smell very strong. There were almost nonexistent room service personnel, but when we ordered extra shampoo and soap, it was delivered quickly. Breakfast was good. I most definitely will stay somewhere else in my next trip and then I will compare. I guess that for the price I paid that was the normal.

Room had ants (discovered in morning,on the bed!), a torn bed comforter, 2 roaches and no room darkening curtains,only sheers. Manager stated I would have to go through Expedia concerning a comp or other reconciliation. Pictures were taken and shown to management. Rooms were changed for night#2. Upon checkout,no luggage carrier rack to be found. Typical comp breakfast served from a side room off the bar which I never would have seen had I not searched the entire conference center for a non existent luggage rack.
Whether you book through a hotel or a third party,the hotel should immediately compensate such poor service. Clear understanding why rates were low

The reviews online were generally not favorable, but I found our overnight stay quite comfortable. We were on the second floor which seems to be recently renovated.
One review says it's hard to find, not at all, it's right off the highway. I never do reviews, but I think in this case it's warranted.

The staff were courteous and helpful but some helpful extras would have been welcome e.g., a map of facility, parking, etc. The facilities are in need of maintenance or upgrade. For example, the beeping alarm in the elevator was going off for my first two nights there, silenced sometime Friday afternoon. The pool had visible algae in the shallow end, so I didn't risk an ear infection to get in it. The ice machine was out of order the whole time. The fitness center had one of two treadmills out of order, but I managed to get time on the one working one. The hallway carpets were dirty and dingey looking. The stairwell door was consistently propped open with a rock (I presume so that smokers could come and go without a key card). When I returned to my room after two nights, carrying a full load and purchased items, I found my key card no longer worked... so had to hike to the front desk to get them replaced. The manager gave me his card and cell number and said to call him if reissued cards didn't work and he would come with tools to get me in. Thankfully, the reissued cards worked. Not sure WHY that happended. Fortunately, the rooms had vinyl flooring and fake wood, so there were no odors or dirty carpet in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet with AC running continuously. The fridge worked, but tended to freeze my water bottles and blueberries. Overall, the room and bed were adequate, but the amenities were out of order. Needs attention.

Employees were nice. We did not utilize the pool. The food at breakfast was not good (rehydrated potatoes, texture of \"eggs,\" etc.). The hallway smelled odd and our room smelled really terrible and we couldn't pinpoint the source. There were multiple cords plugged in and loose right next to the bed, which was concerning. The sheets were clean, so we made the best of it.

CONS: Drab exterior next to abandoned looking older property. Hazardous entrance/exit off of busy highway with speeding cars (hard right turn). Thin walls (slamming doors and footfalls audible at all hours). Bathroom sink lower than usual.

PROS: Bar/restaurant with surprising Indian menu. Friendly, funny bartender and bargain happy hour. Free breakfast (but nothing special). Gym/pool for those who use them.

Pleasure trip for wedding attendance

Hotel is in serious need of renovation. Access door (\"B\") would not close/lock (walk right in), room only had one plug available accessible under a table desk (had to unplug the microwave to have a plug to use), dead bugs/spiders in room, live bugs/spiders seen daily, room floor tiles separated, poor noise insulation between rooms/shower noise, lamp shades and blackout curtains had age cracks/chips, though painted over obvious to see multiple dry wall repairs in room & bath, hallway carpets grungy, bath tub had no stopper, mold (minor) in bathtub sealant, poor/non-existent walkability area & you had to drive around a 2 mile block to get back to the hotel entrance driveway (potholed). Did not use restaurant but not open for breakfast to my knowledge.
Front desk & housekeeping staff & service were friendly & helpful, good shower pressure, many restaurant choices within a few miles drive, many vineyards within 30 min drive, movie theater nearby.

The check-in staff had no personality .
The hotel looked like it was abandoned.
The outside was unkept and has trash.
The inside smelled like curry that it infiltrated into our clothes .
After a long day we came back to a room that had water all over the floor because of a leak at the window ( there was a long thunderstorm).
We had to be moved to another room at 10 at night.
That room after checking in , we discovered the toilet was clogged and could not be used
The phones in the rooms for direct contact to the front desk did not work.
We used our cells to call about the toilet - they said we will give you a “tool” to use to unclog the toilet.
We waited 45 minutes for the plunger which we had to make work… ugh.
The positive would be the ladies who presented the breakfast were delightful
However I would never recommend this place to anyone.
I wish I could be compensated for the situations we had to endure.

The overall building exterior was not up to par so when we pulled up we had our doubts about our booking, but the entrance and lobby were very nice and up to date, the desk clerk was friendly, helpful and efficient, our room was very clean and comfortable (great bed) and the bathroom setup was more than acceptable, particularly the shower & the sink setup; the on-site restaurant/lounge was delightful with a great bar-order food menu (spring rolls were delicious and food ordered by others present looked good too), bright and spacious bar and lounge seating (see attached photo), friendly informative barkeeper. The included breakfast was well above average in that pretty restaurant/lounge setting. Even the hallway maze accessing the guestrooms, conference/banquet rooms, lobby, and restaurant/bar was interesting.

Building is poorly marked, difficult to see from road. No sign on exit of Rt 7 to identify Clarion. Went by 3 times off a very dangerous road. An excellent Hotel except finding it.

The curtains were falling down in our room, spider webs in the ceiling corners, spider found while in bed, gap around door to the hallway, workers showed up at 5am in the room across from ours and were remodeling thus making quite a bit of noise, TV reception appeared to be local air channels only (no cable). Thankfully we had to get up early so the 5am wakeup wasn't too bad.

Absolutely Do Not Stay Here!

I should have read the reviews because they were true! The facility was old dilapidated and looked condemned from tye outside. In the room the furniture was worn and broken. But that waa the BEST part of the experience!
A friend and I book this room for a wine tour of Leesburg. Ages 45 and 53. We had a 2 queen room. You people in the adjacent room were loud and disturbing. Finially at 1am we had enough. Complained management multiple times. Fast forward cops were called. We chose to leave! Formal complaint registered! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT STAY HERE!!
