We stayed at the Greet Hotel Versailles as part of our Olympics trip to Paris. We had tickets for the golf at Le Golf National so this was conveniently placed. To get to the hotel we took the metro then bus from the centre of Paris (near Gare de Nord), it took about an hour and a half. If you are attending a golf tournament the location is very good, there is a small path across the road from the hotel that takes you on a 20-25 minute walk through a park to the course more or less. The property itself reminded me a little of an American motel. The rooms are simple but sufficient, we also liked that they were trying new ideas like providing an option in the room to use an Eco shower head to conserve water (which worked well!). There is a nice eating/drinking area at the hotel where we stopped for a drink before food one evening to watch some races (although we didn't try the breakfast). There are a small number of eateries nearby, and we found a good Patisserie (Boulanger Patissier Maison Akharouid) where we got some nice pastries before we left to go back to Paris. One day we went to the Palace of Versailles which is reachable using the bus stop a minute from the hotel and taking a 30 minute bus ride, with a little walking the other side.

Clean rooms just don’t drink beer
It was ok, the rose was warm (but the girl warned me and offered ice so thAt was ok) they however had no pression beer - fine my husband chose bottled, great but they only had one bottled beer and he had already drank it - basically at 18.30h they had no cold wine and absolutely no beer. The room was spotlessly clean and receptionist was kind.

Good location with a few restaurants and shops very close by. The accommodation is basic but functional and be aware that all rooms are accessed directly from outside (no internal corridors) so going across for breakfast may require a coat and umbrella depending on the weather. Breakfast is good, with a good cold selection and a few hot choices (being able to freshly fry your own eggs is a nice touch). Great for business but not what you would call romantic or plush.

The rooms were very basic to say the least. There were no curtains but instead a metal shutter on the outside of the window.
The service in the restaurant was terrible. The waiter got my drinks order wrong three times and when I told the manager his response was ‘well that one is more expensive’. That’s not the point - it wasn’t what I ordered!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is close to Restaurants and stores, but is some Traffic noise. The Breakfast Buffet at the in house Restaurant is lacking Hot items like Eggs. Food wasn't great.

As with the the other Campanile family hotel I stayed in (Campanile Dreux), The room size and makeup were the same and the breakfast buffet was equal. This hotel was in a more cosmopolitan area of France though and there was a bit more to walk around and see.

They first gave me a room that hadn't even been cleaned, no apology, just a new room, next one not much better. The hotel is in desparate need of a facelift, even some paint would help. The rooms are cold and noisy.

Conveniently located near the D91 and D36 southwest of Versailles so it only took us 10mins to get to the palace.
Restaurant evening meal was disappointing - only one steak but two of us! Overpriced pasta meal was no substitute.

Campanile Hotel, Voisins le Bretonneux
The rooms are very basic but functional. They could do with being completely updated. The breakfast display was very disappointing and unappetising with half empty baskets of bread and croissants. When I asked if they could offer eggs for our friend who is allergic to wheat they simply said no. Yet the advertising in the hotel brochure shows a full choice menue for breakfast. So we decided not to eat there. Despite everything, the staff were very pleasant.

Intéressant de tester cette nouvelle marque GREET de chez Accord , qui récupère d'anciens hotels avec un relooking. Ici c'est bien an ancien campanile , avec un léger covering et principalement un nouveau sol ( lino ), qui perd son restaurant ( Merci de corriger dans le descriptif , il n'y a pas de restaurant ! Seulement des pizza congelés en dépannage ) . Pour diner ou déjeuner il à à une pizzéria et un sushi juste derrière , et d'autres établissements proches , donc c'est ok . Pour la chambre rien ne change ( sauf le sol , le mème lino ) , on garde l'esprit Campanile , c'est à dire aucune isolation phonique , on entends très bien vos voisins tousser et le bruit de la route . Le lit est bien et le wifi marche .

bon, ok, je vais au campanile quand je n'ai pas d'autres choix, j'attends un minimum. Un peu limite cette fois ci , beaucoup de petites bêtes dans la chambre au rez de chaussé , sans doute car la porte reste ouverte le matin pour le ménage et l'aération ? Service au restaurant aimable mais brouillon , pas de verre a vin pour le vin, cuisson non respectée pour la viande , je note qu'il y a du fromage au buffet de dessert mais il faut alors réclamer du pain car il est lui mème absent de ce buffet ...

Pas de chance, notre réservation tombait un 1er mai, donc pas de plat principal au restaurant de l'hotel, simplement des entrées et des desserts..Les entrées de charcuterie dataient surement de la veille, et ne faisaient pas très fraiches et en plus du personnel qui nous pousse a aller chercher notre dessert en vitesse, pour ne pas finir trop tard. \"Nous faisons 1er mai nous aussi\" nous a dit la personne...bref pas terrible!!!
