If you intend to stay here suggest you ask the non 24 hour reception how you exit the property should there be an emergency. Front door entrance locked and bolted when we got up at 3.am. Same for restaurant exit. It’s probably VFM but wouldn’t return. Pictures of locked gate if needed.

The room was what I have reserved. Wide enough at the corner of the hotel. Walking distance to every place I need to go. The only problem I had is the transportation to the airport. I have reserved a transportation through the hotel and they should pick up us at 5:45 AM in the morning. No body came to pick up us... We were missing our flights if I did not find a taxi in the early morning. If hotel promise us to set a paid transportation to the airport they should take care of it. I should not try to find a taxi at the last moment to catch my flight...

It was all fine. Our room was spacious, had lot of blankets and a heater. The bathroom was big, with bathtub, hairdryer and hot water. Perfect location! The tours to Titicaca offered by the hotel were much more expensive than the normal agencies.

It was a nice stay. The rooms had been renovated and were very nice. Everyone was so helpful. The electricity was off in the city, when we woke up in the morning and would be off for the entire day, but it wasnt their fault. They made sure we had hot water for showers and they still had a nice hot breakfast and coca tea.

We had a lovely stay at Sol Plaza. We arrived early and they let us store our luggage while we headed out on a tour. The front desk clerks were very cordial and baggage handlers very helpful. The room was clean and beds comfy. Location was good and we found good restaurants nearby. We would stay there again.

Front desk staff was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. Our room had a plumbing problem and we were given a new room immediately. The dining staff and staff in general were courteous. Location is great and convenient. Good wifi and spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable beds. I can easily recommend the Sol Plaza Hotel.

For the price point, this was an excellent hotel. The lobby is adequate, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was close to many of the best restaurants in Puno. We were awakened by horn honking on the street in the middle of the night despite being on the 5th floor. The hotel let us use the room for a group meeting and the breakfast was better than expected.

Very Comfortable and Clean Room
Puno is an interesting city and was very cold when we visited. It was nice to come back to a clean and comfortable room (with hot showers!!!!!). Sol Plaza Hotel was in a great location in the middle of the city and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Free internet in the lobby for all guests, Wifi worked great in the rooms and the breakfast was great with lots of selection.

We only stayed for a night, my wife was ill and they arranged for a doctor at very short notice, who was excellent. The room was good, and the location was superb - very close to the main square, and equidistant from the bus and train station. Staff helpful - all easy and relaxed.

We recently stayed at the Sol Plaza and were very pleased with the spacious room, location and staff. Everything was perfect. I only wish I could have stayed longer! The room was very nice with nice linens and pillows and lots of blankets and a space heater. There was even a tub in the bathroom! The breakfast had lots of selections and the staff was very helpful for everything we needed.

Nice little hotel right in the city center . Room is quiet spacious and has a very comfortable bed . Overall clean . Breakfast is basic but all right . We were able to check out a bit later so that was very nice . Overall good option for 2-4 days.
