Highly recommend staying here. Very nice, clean, spacious units with kitchen. Outdoor patio area with table and chairs. Great location on a quiet residential street with security gates. I walked everywhere, it was about 10-15 minute walk to the main street and beach. Host was always available and offered excellent recommendations.

This place was absolutely amazing. It was about a 15 minute walk from the beach and a quiet quaint little neighborhood. I could’ve spent the whole whole day without leaving the hotel all amenities that you could possibly need were there and Delphine was absolutely amazing anytime ever needed anything she was always Right, there great place great stay if you’re ever in Jaco You have to try this place

Beautiful and safe place which is maintained excellently by the friendly owners. Lovely pool surrounded by trees on which you can see beautiful birds of Costa Rica such as Macaw Parrots. Excellently located within walking distance of Main Jaco Strip.

Peaceful and quiet stay in Jaco Beach.

This hotel is an oasis in itself. Lots of green space and tranquility only about a 15 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Jaco Beach. The rooms are large and the pool is large to enjoy.

This is very likely where we will stay when we are looking for our long term residences in Costa Rica. the hotel is quiet and and affordable. Small but workable kitchen. The owners are wonderful, very helpful and really great about giving good local information. Very close to Academia Tica for families who when to visit the school.

This property was just perfect. Wish I stayed more than a day. Guy at checkin was very friendly and welcoming and very helpful in every way. The hotel is very safe, you can tell he takes care of it security wise. The property is super clean and a tropical lush. The pool is beautiful, clean and WARM! We swam at 8 pm and it was just beautiful. You can see the stars looking up. Its a quiet hotel even though being blocks away from the party scene. The room was a cute studio with a nice bed, not too hard not too soft. Bathroom was cute and clean. They dont have coffe in the room but you can go few feet away by the checkin area and the nice lady will hand u a fresh brewed coffee. The room has all you need to cook and eat with but we were there just for one night. Overall super happy and highly recommend. P.S. bring passport while traveling or picture of it as its the only approved ID. We weren’t aware so I am spreading the word just in case.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a residential area. Very clean and well-maintained and pleasantly quiet with spacious rooms.
It is 15 min walk from the main street where all restaurants and bars are, however you might end up walking more depends on your destination and this might be a bit uncomfortable on very hot days, besides that everything else was perfect.
I personally would go back to this hotel again if I liked Jaco but unfortunately I did not this town that much as it has a very dirty and ugly beach! but if you plan to go there I recommend staying at this nice hotel.

This Belgian mother and son team have perfection in mind for the Villa zcreole. The landscaping is awesome and attention tondetail total. The pool is great. The rooms spacious and quality is high. Nothing done on the cheap here. And the place is quiet, yet in the middle of Jaco, sort of the Vegas of Costa Rica. I could not recommend tje place more. It’s my third stay here.

Very quiet. Off the main drag. You can be right in all the action and noise and then go 6 blocks away and have peace and quiet to rest or sleep. Very close to beach and everything else. It’s about as bare bones, just the necessities, as it gets but it has everything you need and the staff is friendly and professional. I’d def go back.

Would definitely come back!

We loved this hotel. The location was great, and the small size — typical of Costa Rica — was perfect for privacy. We were usually able to go to the pool and not see any other guests (in the afternoon and evening). The owners were nice whenever we interacted with them, and the other small team of staff (who cooked breakfast, cleaned, answered questions and manned reception) were wonderful as well! Everyone was so nice. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointee, but we kept getting mosquitos despite always having the doors closed. Seriously, we would open the door for 1 second and run behind each other. Nevertheless, new mosquitos every day. I guess it comes with the territory! We had so much bug repellent, it was fine. The pool was warm and clean. The breakfast was the same every day but wonderful and delicious: pinto, eggs, fresh fruit, toast, orange juice, coffee.

We walked to the beach/main strip of town every day. It was an easy and short walk!

Nice little kitchen in the room with crockery and cutlery but we Brits would've liked a kettle to make tea. It's a beautiful oasis in the middle of the town, but unfortunate for us there was a building site noise from next door.

It’s our third time in Costa Rica and Villa Creole was the best stay. We’ve been there 3 weeks and we loved it. Great people, great location. They made us feel like we are family, very caring, very warm. Close to the buzzing Jaco center and yet quiet enough to have a good night sleep. The room was clean, all the equipment worked as it should. We used our fridge a lot, we shopped in Maxi Palí ( it’s like Walmart in CR) 5 min away from the hotel and if we didn’t feel like cooking there are two Soda places on the same street as Maxi Palí. Soda means eatery with original Costa Rican food where a plate will cost you around 3000 colones ($5). The pool was clean and very well lit so one can use it day and night. Also the hotel was full of plants and flowers, we saw lots of birds, butterflies and hummingbirds while having breakfast. We had such a great time and we will definitely come back.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Creole. Adrian, the hotel manager, was so accommodating and attentive. He made all of our tour and excursion reservations for us, and even took us on a waterfall tour himself. The room was comfortable for two people and had a very cool AC. The room opened up to the pool area and restaurant where I loved starting my morning with their freshly made breakfast every day. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach, but in my opinion the beach isn’t the main attraction of this town. We were happy to spend time by the pool when we weren’t out and about. We would definitely stay at Villa Creole again, and it will be one of the things we miss the most of our stay in Jaco!

Let me be clear - we only stayed one night. It was my wife and I, celebrating a milestone anniversary and when we booked one of us was unemployed. When we showed up, we were both employed and decided to go somewhere more befitting our anniversary celebration. That is NOT a reflection on this hotel. It is cute, the host couple is amazing, Jaco seems to be a wonderful town (our 12 hours there were fun) and we both really liked this place. The breakfast was particularly excellent. Plus, Roxy the dog is great.

The property was beautiful and the managers (husband and wife) were great. The breakfast was amazing and you shouldn't miss it. The air conditioning didn't seem to keep it super cool and the television only had Spanish channels except for 2 news channels in English. We like to go out during the day and then after eating a great dinner out come back and relax watching T.V. I would highly reccomend this hotel, it didn't just have all we wanted.

My husband and I stayed for a night on the way back to the airport. We spent the day on the beach which is about one mile away and easy to get to. Even closer than the beach was the main road with many shops and restaurants. The hotel was very clean and rooms were spacious and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool but it looked awesome. Very quick check in. I would definitely stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised. We booked this for a last minute overnight stay in Jaco. It was close to the shops and restaurants. We drove, but it is walkable. The room looks like it has had some recent updates. The rooms are modern with a nice kitchen and bathroom. The beds are spaced across from each other for a little privacy. Great breakfast, secure location and everyone was very hospitable. The only thing I would suggest is some softer towels. Loved the fresh flowers and heart towels in the rooms. Cute touch!

Our second stay. Our first time stay was such a wonderful experience we chose to return there this time. Again, we were not disappointed. The room was clean and very comfortable, the staff was wonderful, the managers Adrian and Alda made our stay very special. They both took care to provide us with anything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was yummy combination of fruits and the typical Costarican breakfast. When we return it will be again to Villa Creole. In our opinion the friendliest, best place in Jaco. We recomment Villa Creole to all!

Great location being a short walk to downtown but far enough away to be really quiet location. A 15 minute walk or $1.50 taxi ride into town and the beach. Rooms have a small kitchen area with fridge for keeping drinks cold and microwave, etc. Nice pool and bar area where breakfast is served. It's the perfect little hotel to stay at to enjoy Jaco and all of the tours and beach. When the day (or night) is done come back to a small family run hotel for a peaceful night's rest!

Alda and her family (they run the hotel) were BEYOND hospitable! They are amazing individuals who REALLY make you feel loved and at a home away from home! They are excellent cooks (the breakfast each morning was impeccable), knowledgeable when it comes to activities nearby, and run this gorgeous property extremely well. It was a little walk to the beach. My husband and I like to walk thereby we found the walk downtown wonderful.

The hotel is very clean, beautifully landscaped, peaceful and well staffed. Very accommodating and thoughtful managers and detailed maid service.

The managers Alda and Adrian, made us feel very welcomed. They were very accommodating and made our stay very memorable. In fact, we initially reserved a two day stay. We extended our stay to 8 nights because the experience was fabulous, our hosts were amazing. We travel often and have never had a better experience.

Every morning we were treated a delicious breakfast and amazing coffee.
Our room was cleaned daily by Lorena the housekeeper. She paid attention to detail.

Moreover the entire staff made us feel welcomed. Very friendly. We will return to this beautiful hotel every time we go back to Costa Rica.

It was clean, and quiet. The A/C and Wifi worked great! Staff was very helpful. The tours were exactly as described, and on time. We did the Tortuga Island tour, and the Manuel Antonio tour. Both were fantastic!!! Well worth the money! They only serve breakfast, so you will have to walk or take a taxi to eat the rest of the day.

An Oasis

Wonderful. Great staff, clean and a real oasis. Cleaning staff/ breakfast crew were lovely and introduced us to Gallo Pinto- very nicely cooked too! The owner greeted us each morning, checked on our stay, gave great advice of places to go and things to do. She amazed us with the number of languages she spoke and was always smiling. We booked an extra day here, initially because we were waiting for one of our suitcases to be delivered - lost in transit. However, now pleased we spent more time at this lovely hotel. They took possession of our bag allowing us to visit the local area and find wildlife. A great place to stay whilst adjusting from a long flight and settling into CR time/ pace on life.

Great little hotel in the city of Jaco.

This was such a cute little property and a very spacious room. The staff and owners were so helpful and accommodating. They helped us set up a private hike through the jungle. Comes with a home made breakfast. Can't beat this place for the price and quality. Out of the way enough that we didn't feel the crowds in the city area.

Tucked away from the main strip, the hotel is quiet and quaint. The pool was wonderful, as was the staff and complimentary breakfast. The room was well equipped for those wanting to make their own meals, with a comfortable layout.

Word of warning: We had a roach problem in our room-- more than a dozen during our stay. I know it's Costa Rica and bugs are everywhere, but it led to some sleepless nights and squeamish moments. If you are afraid of these critters, be prepared!
