Wasn’t the cleaned that well. Supper was sub par. My sink in the bathroom old and cracked. The shower was really hard to use, the controller was super sticky and felt broken. And when I went for breakfast they didn’t have have a server so the restaurant was closed.

But that’s me complaining. All in all 3 star hotel. You do get what you pay for

Not sure how long pool and hot tub have been closed, at least 2 weeks probably longer. Pictures show restaurant that has never been opened since we booked first night weeks ago. They do have a smaller one that doesn’t look anything like the one closed for sometime now

The elevators are really slow and sound like they might break every time I got in them. All our room keys stopped working for some reason on the first day and we had to wait almost half an hour in line at the front desk to get them reactivated. The pool was also broken the whole time we were there.

Not the greatest hotel, but the beds were fine and it still did the job, also fairly cheap.

Unfortunately, this hotel stay was very disappointing from start to finish. The hotel looked nothing like the photos advertised online, which immediately set the wrong expectations. After checking into our first room, we were uncomfortable enough that we had to request a room change.

The customer service was also very poor. We asked for basic utensils so we could eat our food and were told we would have to pay 50 cents for a plastic fork, which felt unreasonable considering the price of the stay. Our room only came with one washcloth, and despite calling the front desk multiple times for an extra one, it took over 5 hours for someone to finally bring it.

The lack of attention, poor communication, and overall quality made this stay frustrating and not worth the money. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others based on my experience.

The pool and hot tub are currently closed for maintenance. It would have been nice to know before we booked. This was a weekend away from everything for my husband and I and we wanted to soak in the hot tub.
The cafe was closed for something so we had to go to the lounge to eat. I’m sensitive to spice and the whole menu was East Indian cuisine.
Not even a grilled cheese sandwich!
We just slept at the hotel and ate at McDonalds.
Very disappointing.

It was okay overall, the room, staff, and parking area were good. However, we weren’t able to sleep well because around 2:30–3:00 AM, we heard shouting in the hallway on the second floor and doors kept banging. We honestly thought there was an emergency happening. Hopefully management can check on situations like this, as it made guests feel unsafe and uncomfortable during the night.

There is quite a bit of parking and the property is pretty big. The rooms look a bit dated and are squishy. The toilet is small and there aren't a lot of amenities. I don't know why ID for each guest staying in a room was asked for when checking in.

The room was spacious, air-conditioning worked well bed was old and lumpy but sufficient for 1 night. The technology to check in was not working properly and took us 15 minutes to get our keys as their card reader was not working and the staff said they always have issues with it. Staff also blamed our credit card and wanted us to log into our bank account to \" make sure we had suffuciant funds\". All for a $50 damage deposite???? Sounded super fushy so we refused. Then their excuse was that since they tried 4 times to charge us and it didn't go through our card was locked which has happened multiple times according to the desk check in person and that I needed to produce a second credit card. I again called BS. The manager was finally called and she tried 2 times to use my card at which time it worked. The staff never apologized for the inconvenience after this. I will never go back and warn caution to those who are thinking of staying here.

Very disappointing stay overall. The staff came across as dismissive and rude from the moment we arrived. We stood at the front counter waiting without even being acknowledged or greeted. Customer service was lacking throughout the stay.

The room was also poorly prepared — there was no shampoo or basic bathroom amenities provided, and we had to go ask for them ourselves. The pool was out of order, which was frustrating, especially since nobody informed us ahead of time or during check-in.

On top of that, the staff never explained where any of the hotel amenities were located, and we were never told about the $7 breakfast special either. Communication and hospitality were seriously lacking.

Overall, the experience felt unwelcoming and disorganized. I would not stay here again.

The Divya Sutra was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is close to shopping and restaurants. I would stay there again. I have read reviews concerning the air conditioning; The thermostat on the wall didn't seem to work, but the AC unit under the window worked just fine.

I am writing this review to warn other travelers—particularly solo female travelers—about a traumatic and unsafe experience I had at this property. My stay was cut short due to a major security failure that left me feeling completely compromised.
The issues began immediately when I was checked into the wrong room. I chose not to complain at the time, but the situation escalated into a nightmare at 4:00 AM when a group of strangers was given access to my room. They opened the door and entered while I was inside, which was terrifying.
To make matters worse:
• The room phone was broken: When I tried to contact the front desk to report the intruders, the phone did not work. I had to use my personal device to reach them.
• Zero Proactive Communication: The staff informed me they would check the cameras and call me back. I never received that call. I had to follow up myself only to be told it was a \"technical error.\"
• No Management Follow-up: I was told a manager would contact me regarding this security breach and I have heard nothing.
I felt so unsafe and shaken that I checked out immediately, unable to sleep or spend another minute in the building. A \"technical error\" is not an excuse for allowing strangers to enter an occupied room in the middle of the night. The lack of urgency and basic empathy from the staff since the incident is appalling.

I come to Calgary as I work on the weekends. What I expect is a place that is clean, well maintained, and quiet. First the bathtub had a constant drip and I had to use many towels to prevent me sleeping due to this drip that was never repaired during my stay. Then Saturday evening there was a lot of partying on my floor, then a big fight broke out and was not stopped by hotel management. Therefore, I had to get up at 4:00 AM and I left the hotel as I was prevented from sleeping. Therefore, I will not use this hotel again.

The room was advertised as sleeps 8 with really nice pictures and amenities but rye room looked nothing like the pictures it was dingy and stale. the amenities were out of order. and the room definitely doesn’t sleep 8 people. a male staff was also very offhandish and curt. not pleasant at all.

Upon check-in, the room smelled like someone had just smoked inside, and the toilet was clearly used. We went to the front desk to report it, and instead of properly addressing the issue, the staff offered us a spray. After explaining again that the toilet had been used, we were told to bring all our belongings downstairs ourselves so they could change our room.

The second room was not any better, the fridge was extremely small, and the main light in the room was not working. We called the front desk and were told they were aware of the issue and that someone would come fix it, but no one ever came.

Front desk staff was also very unhelpful. We politely asked if they could help store our cheesecake in a fridge, and the response was simply “can’t,” with no effort to assist or provide any customer

Our stay was adequate. The room was ok not as clean or as maintained as we would have expected. The lock on the door was broken and unusable and if you look at the top of the door there is a big gap between the door and the door frame. The bathroom fixtures were all corroded and look dirty. Beds were clean. We had issues with our keys in the elevator Saturday night it was about 10pm. We went to the front desk to get them fixed. Stood in line for nearly 15 min while the girl at the desk visited with some people she knew. There were others in line behind us who were also not happy with having to wait. While waiting my daughter used your main floor washroom however came back said there was no toilet paper in the washroom.
