There was lots of shopping in walking distance of the hotel and easy to travel to other tourist spots on PEI. The breakfast was lacking in quality and options. The staff was friendly and helpful. A solid cheap option for a stay in Charlottetown.

The room was clean. Sink faucet in main area of our room was very loose. Sponge to wash dishes was used and filthy. Threw the sponge out and asked for another only for it to be replaced with another used one. Breakfast was hot but not the tastiest. Overall though, the price was reasonable for the room.

I’m not a fan of motels generally but this is the second time I’ve intentionally booked here . While it is a little dated , it is very well located & the staff are excellent. Each room has 2 patio doors to a small quiet area with a nitro table & 2 chairs . There is adequate parking, quite a good little pub with good food attached & great prices! They have a swimming pool which is not of interest to me but would be for families . Many hotels in Charlottetown are pricey . I’d save that money for experiencing PEI & enjoy this sweet spot

The location is very good as it is close to many restaurants, banks, shopping and bars. There is a pub off the lobby but, it was full for a birthday party. No other option was offered to us for food. Though not rude the desk employee wasn't overly friendly either. This hotel needs some serious maintenance, upgrades and deep cleaning. The room door seemed to have a gap all around it and there was a strong smell of weed in the hallway. There is no elevator. There are motel units which seem to be better. There is also an outdoor pool. The jacuzzi was nice enough though with the jets on it seems to bubble over the top of the edge. Some new linens, including towels would go a long way. There was only one robe though seemed to be there should have been a second one. The coffee maker needs a deep cleaning. The room was quiet for sleeping but the curtains are thin and don't completely block the lights from the city.

The staff were courteous. The room was clean except for the filthy ceiling vent in the bathroom. There was no decaf coffee available to the rooms. The floors were uneven to the point of affecting a persons gait and \"soggy\" in places. Conversations could easily be heard from nearby rooms. I would not stay there again for the price. A light bulb was burned out in the bathroom. I informed the staff early after check in. The bulb had not been replaced by checkout on day 3.

Super big room! Loved the space with the kitchenette and everything. Beds were cozy (with thicker blankets which I love). Also great proximity to shops and things to do.

Breakfast was a nice addition, I wouldn’t say anything particularly special. And reception was a bit lukewarm but otherwise enjoyed our stay!

We ended up having to switch rooms because the water was not working in ours but once we switched, everything was great! Room was clean and jacuzzi tub was wonderful! Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not great. The toasters need replacing, took 10 minutes to toast a bagel and it still wasn't toasted all the way. Sausages and scrambled eggs were flavorless and sitting for far too long. But other than the breakfast, it was a great stay!

I had a different room at another hotel, but was automatically rebooked for the Holman and what a pleasant surprise! Incredible stay. Clean, spacious room, excellent jetted tub, fantastic shower, well stocked with anything you might need... Fantastic service from the employees, a delicious breakfast at the restaurant... I had a wonderful experience. The only possible thing i could say is there was some sort of blue stain on the bathtub, where fhe water dripped from the tap to the drain and I tried to clean it myself before getting in the tub, but it was very much a stain, nothing could be done about it. But everything else was in tip top condition. Comfortable bed and pillows, a couch to watch TV, a full dining table to eat in the kitenette area... And the robes were among the most comfy I've ever worn! 10/10 experience.

The hotel has a 24 hour cancellation policy but they refused to honor that, even though I cancelled my last night more than48 hours in advance. I was told by the desk that they could not refund me, it would have to be the manager. The manager was not in when I checked out. He was supposed to be in on Monday. I called three days in succession and he “wasn’t in”. I left a voice mail on his direct line and he never returned the call. It was always our go-to accommodation in Charlottetown but next time we will stay next door at Rodds.

Comfortable bed. There was a sticky stuff in the floor next to our bed, I just asked to clean while we were out. When we come back it was the same, still sticky. But they made the bed and cleaned the room nice. If your neighbor is noisy, you could hear it. Our room was 141, the building in the back. Basic breakfast. For the price, it’s great place to stay.

Check in was easy and comfortable. The room was spotless, the bed SO comfortable. The food at the pub was excellent and our server was so relaxed and fun! Fresh towels on the second day was a lovely surprise - and breakfast was great - ready as promised at 6am. Only way it could have been better would have been items to make it more portable as we had to be on the road asap. But we managed!

A pleasant stay at an economy price - simple yet comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. The room was equipped with essential at the minibar. The bathroom has no clothes hooks for towels, conditioner shampoo was provided for hair and soap bar for showering instead of bath gel. The free breakfast was warm and hearty - for the three of us to start off the day. Good value for a short stay!

Possibly one of the worse motels I have stayed in. The pillows were hard and high, and the mattress sank which makes for a great combination for uncomfortable sleeping experience. “Kitchenette” room is a scam as it means you get a kitchen sink compared to standard rooms and nothing else. No laundry facility nearby - the nearest is a drive into DT area.
