Room was cleaned everyday. Staff were excellent could not fault any of them. Didn’t sit by the pool as there were sun beds by the beach. Only negative is the games room. Pool cues need updating.

We loved staying here way better than most of the other hotels we have stayed at in cypress the food way very good most nights in terms of vegetarian and vegan options but there were a few nights where options were limited but that is to be expected. The cleanliness was very good for most of the hotel apart from the woman’s public bathrooms as the bins were overflowing but everything else was very clean and tidy.

Everything was good. the only thing that annoyed me was the idiotic behavior of the people. pushing and shouting at the breakfast. the pool chairs were reserved early in the morning even if people arrive to the pool in the day. Cant even imagine situtation when hotel is fully reserved.

Wonderful stay and would return.

Perfect location as you are on the beach but are close to restaurants, the bus station, the Kings Mall, bars and the sites. The staff are helpful and the entertainment is fun. The harbour is about a half an hour walk. The internet is great.

You get fantastic sunsets from the beach.

Aged property needs an overhaul. Shabby hotel old and worn.
Simple things like wasn’t given WiFi code at check in even though was told it was in the welcome pack.

so when in the room I tried to use the phone but there wasn’t a directory to give me the number reception, I had to call reception from my cell phone (international call).

Why not save paper and put the WiFi code in the room? Simple customer service.

WiFi was awful too this is 2024 not 2002

A wonderful place to stay. From the friendly check in staff to the staff around the facility, everyone was helpful. The dining options are wonderful, with a full breakfast buffet to delicious meals in the restaurant. The pool is clean and beautiful and the beach offers beautiful sunset views. There is also a nice walkway on the beach to go into old Paphos or you can easily walk to the main road for shopping and other venues. We will be back.

Clean, safe and affordable.We liked this hotel for its easy walkability to nearby restaurants and bus stops. You could walk to some of the nearby attractions, which will only become easier once the ocean walk is fully completed. The room itself was clean, though dated, and the ocean view was very nice. The air conditioner worked well during very hot weather and was quiet.
Some things to think carefully about if you want to book here: 1) The beach is pretty poor in front of the hotel. There are only small areas that aren’t rocky and weedy, so going into the sea is not a popular activity, but it certainly can be done. You can also walk a few minutes along the water to a nearby public beach which has nice sand. 2) There is not a lot of space around the pool, and what is there doesn’t offer much shade. There’s a lot of demand for beach chairs. We chose to sit in older chairs under smaller umbrellas on a grassy area facing the sea which is adjacent to the pool deck. It’s not as crowded and still allowed for a quick dip into the pool whenever we were so inclined. 3) This is not a quiet resort. They run a poolside bar/nightclub that is noisy until past midnight. The noise levels seemed to vary depending on crowd size and the type of entertainment. Of 6 nights we stayed I was only kept awake by the noise one night, but we did hear it every night.
If you’re into nightlife, or coming with a group or family, I think it would be great, but it’s not really a romantic getaway.

On the one hand I enjoyed the hotel, and yet if I returned to Paphos I probably would try someplace else.

The good: the bedrooms are big and well equipped with kitchen stuff. Nice sea view, nice little porch. Bathroom ok (so much mould in the shower head, actually made me feel sick). Air con worked well. The pool seemed way too small and crowded and the beach was pebbly, but ok to swim. Nice views. Liked the little shop outside the hotel. Didn’t try any of the food or drinks, so can’t comment. They arranged a taxi for airport pick up, that was good, and good communications before arrival.

The not so good: we were in a room near the restaurant and bar, so the evening entertainment, which goes until midnight, kept us up. Irritating! Either put party animals near the bar or get better insulation. Reception staff were a bit odd - they’d ring your room with a relatively unfriendly attitude. The games room was ok, but there was no chalk for the cues for pool.

The really bad: The health club was only open 11am to 6pm, a ridiculous window, really not at all suitable as it implies that guests are staying put at the hotel instead of out and about (should be open at least 6am to 9 or 10pm). Add to this, the towel swap time was only 10 to 12, and 2-4, again completely unsuitable. As I tool tours out every day I never managed to use a towel and had to use bath ones and the ones I brought with me for tours instead. Again, careless consideration for guests needs.

Strange Requirement

I have stayed in many hotels over the past 40 years and this is the first time I came across a hotel where the front office requested 10 Euro deposit for the TV remote control. This is a very strange requirement. If one were to forget to return the remote control then you will lose the deposit.

We have stayed at Kefalos Beach many times and it is always a pleasure. The apartments are well maintained, very spacious & well equiped. Staff are generally very friendly & helpful with the exeption of the guy who hands out the pool towels. We found him quite rude and on occassions rather aggressive towards guests. This however did not ruin our overall good experience

The hotel is overall good. Professional check in, restaurant good with full English breakfast in the morning and buffet in the evening. Would have been nice to have more local food items for breakfast. Room nice bright and spacious. Pool very nice and not too busy but it’s off season so that was great. Bar is ok, large screen but picture froze all the time.

Great place for great value

It was really good. The breakfast was rich and the crew was refilling all the food. We got a room 50 feet from the waterfront. The kids club was great, and we lucked up on the weather.

Great hotel

I have stayed at Kefalos Beach a couple of times now and really love it. They have great facilities, the shop onsite stocks most things you need if you can’t make it to a supermarket.

We had breakfast included which was lovely. There was so much choice that for the four days we were there I had something different.

It is in a great location, we hired a car as we were visiting family but you can easily walk to the local restaurants and bars.

Good location, easy walking to beach, walking, food and drink, shopping and tourist attractions. Fair room standard - slightly tired bathroom and furniture, but big and quiet. Service in the snack bar/restaurant was very poor on both occasions we decided to go. Mainly waiting almost three times as long as you would expect to both order and get our order after that. Dinner took close to 50 minutes after ordering and ordering lunch we waited 10 minutes just to get a menu. Food quality was good, drinks are very overpriced with a latte at €4.10 and a bitter orange juice at €4.20. Good pool area and some charming cats.

Wonderful Beach hotel in Paphos

Highly recommend. The only negative thing about the hotel is the additional charge for WIFI in the room. The extra WIFI charge is also per device! Not for the room. However, they do offer free WIFI in the lobby.

Amazing relaxing vacation

We've been in Kefalos this march and had a fabulous time. The hotel is wonderful and the surrounding is amazing. Everything was so clean and the staff went out there way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was complete and tasty, the pool area was very fun and the room was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed every second of this vacation

Everything was great .. There are a couple of things that I wound suggest
1) it would be nice instead of, or as well as wine and fruit in the fridge to have a bottle of mineral water when arriving very late night , with everything closed .
2) wifi cost is expensive

we had room overlooking swimming pool and sea. lovely balcony from where we could watch the sunset.

kitchen was basic. needed maybe a wine bottle opener.

gardens were maintained very well and the entire complex were clean.

food at the snack bar was good. big portions!

The location is great, although we felt some of the staff were a little confusing and gave us wrong information. The tour reps who came to the hotel to help us with the tours were very unfriendly and appeared blunt and unhelpful. Hence we had to find tours outside the hotel.

Hotel was a perfect fit for our family with 2 young children (6 & 3). Our ground room floor was bigger than expected with a room plus kitchenette with 2 beds for the children. Hotel provided breakfast, while the menu did not change in our 4 day stay, they provided enough food for you to choose and create your own buffet preference for the morning. The kids club while just starting back up for the season the day before we left, had a great kids disco entertainment night. Kids loved it! Hotel was within walking distance to King of Tombs. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely 1-bed apartment overlooking the sea. Great location, in between Tombs of the Kings and the Lighthouse, both within walking distance. Bar prices a bit high - especially imported spirits - but overall, lovely place to stay, good bar snacks and excellent value out-of-season. Would stay again.

good location without being in middle of town

We loved this place...lovely on beach or you could stay by pool ., appartments were clean and great ac. beds comfy...we are family of four (15 and 11 yr old kids) and we had enough space. Food was well cooked and presented...nice variety...no surprises. Entertainment of usual standard...not great but just enough. Will definately go back. Loved Cyprus!

A friendly, well maintained holiday village.

A very friendly and well maintained resort. The weather for the last week in October was wonderful. We ate in the resort restaurant and the local restaurants.
It takes about 30 minutes to walk to Paphos harbour. The archaeological park is well worth a vist.
I can recommend this resort for all age groups.

The rooms that are not around the pool or face the sea front are overlooked so if you want more privacy consider booking these rooms.

We would stay at the resort again.

We had two rooms, one for couple+baby, and one for couple+girl in a wheelchar. The first one was excellent, very big and confortable, however the second one wasn't accessiable (although we specifically asked and were promised an accessible room) - it had a bath instead of a shower and had no bathroom rails. Other than that, the hotel was excellent - great breakfast, very nice swimming pool and bar, nice beach, fun activities, would definately recommened it!

A great autumn break in the sun.

We stayed at Kefalos Beach Tourist Village in October half term and at that time of the year the hotel did not appear to be at full capacity, there were lots of sunbeds and space for all no matter what time you arrived on the the beach.
The hotel was a short drive from the airport, with a few of the sights wiithin an easy walk, again the temperatures were pleasant. There is a paved coastal path which provides a 30minute walk into the harbour, this would be fine with young children as it is away from any traffic and is suitable for buggies. There is little street lighting on the path but we walked it by moonlight without a problem. The hotel is on a main bus route (No 615) from the harbour should you want to come home that way. We went on a 5 day, last minute, holiday where our goal was to lie on the beach with a book, i'm not sure how much there would be to do on a 2 week vacation but we would certainly return for a short break in the sun.
We chose to eat in the local restuarants of which there was a good selection close to the hotel, the hotel staff made some excellent suggestions.

On the whole, an excellent stay at Kefalos Village

Great studio apartment with ocean view, big, spacious, very clean, comfortable, and kitchenette came in handy for making our own breakfast and lunch (we were room only). Food on site was less than desirable so we went out elsewhere in the evenings for dinner in search of traditional Cypriot food therefore I recommend hiring a car as the nearest main \"strip\" has a limited range of restaurants mainly run by Brits and Russians and a severe lack of traditional Cypriot food, you need to search further afield for good food. Found some great restaurants within 3 miles towards coral bay area.
Beach superb, swimming in the sea just great and good access points provided to avoid the rocks on entry/exit.
Sadly we booked a late check out via Expedia as our flight was leaving late on the Saturday evening and we got kicked out of our room at midday which was rather disappointing and I am still resolving this issue with Expedia.
