I was a bit disappointed in the facilities. Since the rating was so high and the price considerably more than other hostels in Lisbon, i expected better than average. Must be because of location because i stayed in hostels that were nicer for almost half the price. Staff were wonderful speaking multiple languages. Please note that there are lots of narrow stairways for elderly or limited mobility.

I really loved this place overall! Very welcoming and comfortable stay. The beds were nice. Breakfast was pretty good, and they even had somebody making made to order pancakes with banana eyes and an apple smile. I feel like every night that I was there they did something nice for the guests. Sangria night, tapas night, etc.. The staff was excellent, and I really enjoyed my chats with them.

Me and my friend stayed 4 nights in a twin room with an en suite bathroom and we could not have been more pleased with both the kindness of the staff and the accommodations themselves. Upon arrival we were greeted and given a tour of the common spaces along with tips for how to spend our stay in Lisbon. During our stay we utilized the laundry service as well which was great, 10 euros to wash and dry clothes which were then delivered to our room. Room also had lockers to store valuables which was great for our passports. Room also had its own AC along with a remote to control it which was AMAZING.
Free breakfast was great, had options to grab and go or you could wait for a pancake and sit and eat. Very chill atmosphere, could be as social with other guests as you wanted. Overall would definitely recommend and if we are ever in Lisbon again would go back.

***If you go after Nov 30th, the Wonderland Christmas Market will be open. 3 minute walk.

As a female solo traveller in her 50’s, I loved how this hostel was on the quieter side, and how the other ladies in my all female quad room were always very respectful of each other! Breakfast in the morning, and then in the evening the host would sometimes prepare homemade soups and sandwiches at no extra cost! They would go over and above with cleanliness, and there are enough bathrooms for everyone! With someone at the front entrance, I always felt safe when I came in, especially later at night.
This hostel is in the perfect area, close to everything, and an easy walk to and from the city centre. This place did not disappoint!

The 24 hour check-in/out was perfect for us, as we needed to arrive at night and leave at night. It was easy and safe to leave our luggage with the desk, while we attended our day excursion before we left that evening. The staff is very friendly, enthusiastic, and organized. The space is clean and we'll kept and thee decor is uncluttered, while also creating a feeling of inclusivity and excitement. We had our 5 and 7 year olds with us and they LOVED the brightly colored bunk beds in the 4 bed room w. the attached personal bathroom. Great price for a great experience. Highly recommend.

This is the best hostel i’ve ever stayed at! It’s kept clean and the shower set ups were great. The rooms are really cozy and the beds were so comfy i almost didn’t want to leave. The staff were AMAZING and so fun. They had a ton of activities and suggestions. I wish i stayed here longer!

I liked that each bed has a curtain for privacy, a place to put the bag, a rack for clothes and a locker to lock. There was always a free and private shower, which means you shower and get dressed inside, not in a public space. The breakfast was very satisfying, including pancakes prepared on the spot, coffee machine, tea, toaster, microwave. I would be happy for a cucumber and tomato. Eat in a common space so that interaction is created between the different people and acquaintances. In the evening, there is usually a free soup, sometimes also a Spanish tapas evening. Rooms with shared TV and Netflix. The location is excellent right on the Marquis Pombal for walking and public transport.

Friendly and comfortable hostel with good metro links into the town centre. The management provided many free social events and worked hard to create a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast offered a pleasant chance to meet other hostellers and make friends. The pancakes were a bonus!

I had a good stay at this hostel, but preferred other places I stayed in Lisbon for the same price. This one was located on a relatively quiet street and in a newer building but didn't feel that warm and inviting to me. The neighborhood is more high end shops, less street activity and life. I preferred staying in Barrio Alto even though it's up the hill. The room was spacious and they do have lockers with keys for free. Breakfast provided could be improved, especially since other hostels I stayed in Lisbon had much better quality breakfast.

AMAZING! honestly so cool. Free breakfast, free tapas (the latter dependent on the day), free walking tours... The hostel has so much to offer. They storedy luggage the day before and the day I checked out. So close to all bus routes (I took a bus from the airport) and everything is walkable! I met some lovely ladies in this place, and people are super friendly. So many seniors were staying at the time and I loved hearing their travel stories. Recommended!

Great staff, kind and very gentle, they helped me with any necessity I had. Unfortunately couldn’t sleep at all, due to the fact that in the room 108 there was a guy who was living there and snoring hard.

Let's see here. First the bad: the common areas are compact with limited space to move around and can be rather quite noisy at times. Now the good: the staff are all friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and quiet.
Having Netflix to watch in a common room was a huge bonus. Breakfast is quite good and the complimentary soup and tapas at night are excellent. The compact nature of the common areas makes it easy to meet others and socialize.
Overall, I am pleased with my stay at Lisboa Central Hostel and recommend the property. Oh, and here's a tip: don't bother reserving independent and likely pricey excursions on your own before you arrive to Lisbon. You can plan likely much more affordable day trips (together with other guests you'll meet) to areas such as Cabo da Roca and Sintra at the hostel very easily with the assistance of the helpful staff.

Everyone at Lisboa Central Hostel was super welcoming and they provided lots of advice for our touring! We loved chatting with Tiago. We were also able to leave a load of laundry to be done while we were out and it was only 8 euros per load. There were activities planned for each day (Milkshake Monday, Movie night, etc.) and the hotel provided breakfast and always had sandwiches and soup out. This was our first time staying in a hostel and Lisboa Central Hostel made it a great experience. We would stay here again.

Super terrific and amazing hostel. The staff are all very friendly, kind and personable people. The hostel is clean. Considerate little touches - like a universally plug socket (so you don't need a plug convertor) with two 5A USB ports at your bedside - made my stay that much more pleasant. If I return to visit Lisbon some day then I will certainly stay here. Keep up the great work & great wishes!

I was there on a small holiday vacation. The hostel ia situated adjacent to Marque de pombal square. Locality is crowded with tourists. I stayed in room no 113 and my bed was no 5. To be honest the best bed ever slept. It make you feel home. I lied on the bed and it made me sleep in seconds. Room had 6 beds, all occupied. Lockers were there. The only problem was that we didint had a trunk to keep our things locked. Usually we see that under bed in other hostels. Hostel management was very friendly. Cleaniness was good. Kitchen was great. There was one good kitchen fully equipped with all shorts of kitchen items required to cook food. 2 living room and one small outdoor area for tea coffee. Bathrooms were clean.only one major problem they had was that if you wanted to go out of the room via gallery you could not come out without key. I was suffocating sometime remembering that if I loose my ke in my room , I might get trapped in gallery. How ever gallery gate opened at reception but sometime there was no one at the reception. They should really remove that lock. Because in an event of fire it will actually malfunction and everyone inside may get locked. These incidents are common and I dont know why management has ignored this. Overall chckin was good, checkout was good. Cheap and best in lisbon. Worth staying again and again.

This was definitely one of the better hostels I've stayed in. The staff was tremendously friendly and accommodating. They gave a tour of the facilities and were helpful in giving recommendations around the city. The room was clean and big. My only suggestion would be to have bigger lockers that could comfortably fit back packs or a carry on.

My stay was amazing! The staff welcomed me with open arms and helped at any time I needed assistance. I was presented a map and informed on things to do in Lisbon and how to get there! Linens, towels, and wifi were provided! Breakfast and snacks were free!! There was also a lot of other events throughout the week you could do at a reasonable price or FREE. When I go back to Lisbon, this will be the only place I would stay!

Sometimes you want a fun hostel that makes it easy to meet new friends, and sometimes you want a quiet place to sleep. Lisboa Central Hostel manages to combine both. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the other guests were friendly too. The hostel has several common areas perfect for making conversations. We ended up going on a day trip to Sintra with a friend we met at the hostel, and went out *every night* to Bairro Alto with friends from the hostel.
The location is good, Bairro Alto is just a €2.50 Uber ride away.
The hostel shares a residential building, so it's quiet at night and you can get a perfect night's sleep.
Plus, they have amazing pancakes for breakfast.

Great Hostel in Central Lisboa
Great experience here! Front desk staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast served was fantastic, there was a staff member making pancakes and other bfast items of request. Facilities were all clean, new and comfortable. It's also bigger than expected, we were on the second floor and had plenty of privacy. The shared spaces were nicely stocked with books and games. Wifi was great everywhere. Beds were comfortable. Location was also ideal, with tons of bus lines nearby, metro and tour hop and off bus stops nearby. Also, very safe to walk around. There was a also great food around, with different budgets. Close to airport as well, on taxi about 15 minutes and on train about 30. Although a hostel, there were travelers of different ages and styles. Highly recommend!

Me senti especialmente querido durante todo a estadia. A cozinha do hostel é ótima, o café da manhã delicioso, os quartos espaçosos, o banheiro super limpo, as várias áreas comuns muito agradáveis. A localização é central, então o deslocamento é excelente seja a pé ou de transporte público. Tem várias coisas por perto (restaurante, mercado, farmácia).
