Everyone was so nice & helpful. We ate Dinner at the indoor area by the pool and had a great time thanks to the staff. The manager Joseph was so nice and helpful. He recommended and let us taste some new wines that we have never had.. He was very knowledgeable and very nice and helpful with all of our questions..He took time out to show us how to get to certain bars & restaurants at the hotel. And our waiter Roger was very nice:) we met a lady named Amy and she was sweet and explained how to get around at the hotel. We are here for a wedding and it’s our first time to Europe. Thank u to all .

La chambre et l’endroit sont d’une propreté exemplaire. Le personnel courtois et très professionnel; ils sont de parole et très serviables.
Par contre il nous a fallu marcher loin et battre les marches avec nos valises dans la configuration du bloc D où notre chambre était.
L’hotel étant dans le secteur Affaire plutôt que Touristique nous devons nous déplacer à pied, en métro ou Uber pour les attractions de la ville qui sont plus loin.

Mais un excellent séjour de 2 jours que nous avons grandement apprécié à Lisbonne.

Breakfast was bad. Eggs were old, mushrooms were cold, sausage had bones in it, I tried to order fried eggs and was told by a very rude waitress they could not make fried eggs. It was almost like we were an inconvenience to the restaurant staff.
Front desk enployees were above and beyond hospitable. They are the amazing grace of the hotel!

Our stay was great. The staff were helpful, the rooms were lovely and the place as a whole was clean! It was extra nice being able to have a little swim / soak in the pool each morning and the coffee shop on site was lovely too. Would definitely recommend!
Lots of airline staff stayed too, which is always a sign of a good hotel!

This gem was hidden in the city, the area was bustling and the property felt an escape from the city rush. There is a speakeasy on the property that felt like it came straight out of the 80s…such a good time…. One word of advice for the black ppl that plan to visit, bring your own wash cloths.

Breakfast food options were very nice. Had wait in line to get coffee from a machine. Only one electric kettle for the whole dining room, the beverage service could be improved.
We were not aware that the room is only serviced every 7 days. I went back to the hotel information and is way at the botton of the page. It shoud have been nice to be notified at check in and not be surprised after a coming back from a long day out.
We went to both restaurants the one next to the pool was the one we liked the most, we went twice, we had a lovely dinner, the experience at fine dining option was not great.
Overall the property is very nice, the room was comfortable. The location is great.

This hotel lived up to its wonderful reviews. The property was in an excellent location very close to local amenities. The Hop on Hop off tour bus terminus was only a few minutes walk away, as was the Metro which was easy to use. City centre shops & restaurants were only a 20min walk from the hotel. Upgrading my stay to a suite with fully equipped kitchen was worth the extra expense and I was impressed at how quiet the hotel was, despite there being plenty of guests.

The property is clean and the location is in a very good part of Lisbon. The hotel has lots of amenities like multiple restaurants, swimming pool, etc. The room was clean with nice comfortable bed but lacked refrigerator. Also the bathroom was nice and clean, but the surface of the sink was small and the shower didn’t have any shelf to put on our shampoo or bar of soap.

Bad points:

Both our sink and shower waste were very slow to drain, this meant the shower flooded out the cubical and into the bathroom

The bathroom smelt bad (assume to do with the wastes again)

On site parking expensive (€25 per day) and could be (should be?) subsidised for guests of the hotel

The layout of the hotel is confusing - not much they can do about this, it’s multiple buildings combined, and the change in ground levels across the property does not help.

The lifts are terrible

Great location. It was not right in the middle of the busy tourist sites but close enough to get around the city. It was in a quiet neighborhood but very accessible to the public transportation and Hop-On Hop-Off start point. One thing that I was a bit surprised to find is that I booked a room with the terrace and it was underground. They have an underground garden still with the sunlight but we had to take the elevator to the basement, and all the hallways were very confusing closed with very heavy metal doors. The room smelled like a very cold cheese but had a terrace door to ventilate. The bed was very comfortable! The room we had a kitchenette and small couch which is always nice for a couple to stay. I'd love to go back only if I can book a room above the ground level.

I love Locke hotels. Having a kitchen and washer in the room makes long trips abroad so much nicer. Their properties are very hip and have all the amenities you need for a city stay. I really enjoyed this location. It’s an easy walk down the avenue to the older more touristy parts. Staff was so friendly and kind.

The suite room was small but fine for the two of us, similar to a hotel room. We did not use the on-site amenities or restaurants. Great location by the metro and the downtown is not far to walk. We were early for our room and the staff said they would WhatsApp us when the room was ready but they did not. That was okay anyway. The coffee latte was cold at the cafe near the entrance, go somewhere else.

We had a great stay here. The property is modern and in a great location, well connected to many parts of the city. We ate at Santa Marta restaurant and the food was really great. The rooms are convenient and cozy. The downside was that housekeeping service wasn't provided when we stayed 4 nights (one night we had the DND on) or they offered it at 530pm which is not a convenient time when guests are out all day. The bathroom is also very little, but the room is laid out in a smart way.

I was here for business and really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The pool was very cold and the outside area being surrounded by tall buildings meant the sun disappeared quickly early in the evening. Apart from that it was a very lovely stay.

This hotel was incredibly beautiful from the moment we walked in to the courtyard. It is huge and can feel a bit of a maze to walk around until you get your bearings. We were situated in Block D - there was a mini exhibition for us to look at on our way to our room. We stayed in a Locke Room which came with a lovely little patio. Furnishings in the room were beautiful and the colours in the bathroom were so nice too. Beds were super comfy and made for a great nights sleep. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water or 2 in the room for arrival especially when arriving late at night and not being able to get to a shop. You can pay for water at reception but it was a bit inconvenient to head back over for that. However, I would happily stay here again and will recommend it to friends because of it's location. We just wish we could have stayed longer as didn't get to use the pool or restaurants which looked amazing!

The sea bream was exceptional, the octopus melts in your mouth and the homemade olive oil gelato was so good, I would willingly fly back to Portugal, just to taste it again. This is the most beautiful hotel and we cannot wait to go back. There are so many bars, restaurants and cafés, all of which are beautiful inside with wonderful food and drinks. Be sure to try Kissaten. The room was so lovely, with gorgeous decor and super comfortable furniture. The pool area is lush and so relaxing. We were there in March so it wasn’t super busy which was nice. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options and always plenty of seating.
The location is great, we found lots of great restaurants nearby, as well as being able to grab scooters from outside to get closer to other parts of the city.

Beds and pillows are not comfortable at all. Room is more of an apartment vibe than a hotel. Staff is friendly but it’s not the same service you would get at a 5 star hotel. Gives more of a hotel/residency than an actual hotel. Walls are also really thin so if you are a light sleeper you might not feel the most well rested, you can hear guests closing and opening the door and staff cleans the room early so you can really hear everything.

Locke De Santa Joana is a perfect place to stay when visiting Lisboa. Great location! Accomodations are very nice...my studio included a full kitchenette with cooktop, oven, sink, dishwasher, fridge, and a washer / dryer. On site restaurants were very good and the front desk staff were very accommodating, courteous, and helpful. There is a gallery with some beautiful artifacts that were discovered during the development of the property (?). I will be returning to Lisboa in a few days and I am looking forward to staying at this hotel again. I give it 5 stars.

;Osborn is built on five hills (so they are hard to avoid) and this hotel was built on a hill. As a result, Reception was on the fifth floor (which they call 0) and there are four floors below it. Our room was on -3. Nothing wrong with any of that. But it means there are a lot of steps. For people with visual impairments, that was kind of hazardous. But in the breakfast room, the staff soon figured out that I might need help going up and down the steps (when my wife seemed to be ignoring me). But we both loved breakfast.

The hotel was good although large groups of international guests staying there who were quite noisy late at night. My room was near reception and you could hear a lot of shouting and talking from guests during the night. Otherwise the hotel was very good but the location is a 20 minute walk to the old town.

Noise from the street was an issue for sleeping. The windows don’t provide enough buffer for people’s voices on the street. Bad odour from the bathroom. Both of those issues were not a deal killer because I am a fan of the Locke brand but what was unforgivable was an unpleasant staff member who managed the breakfast bar. The other staff were fabulous but this guy accused me of sneaking into the bar and essentially stealing a coffee. He was aggressive and insistent, and at 72 l have been seldom as offended as l was by him. I was shocked.
