The property is dated and could do with a refurb. It is not as clean as when we stayed a few years ago. The staff are great and very helpful. Was weary of the pool as we saw black around the bottom of the pool ,so we did not use it. Very quiet around the resort ok for us as we were just looking to recharge.

Another good time

We use this appartment block normally twice a year and have done so for over ten years. The units are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect with many restuarants and bars very close. Large supermarket within 100yards. The staff are very good and very helpfull.

We recently stayed 3 weeks at El Marques Palace in a 1 bedroom sea view unit. Everything was great and the view from our balcony was spectacular. Front desk staff were always helpful and even gave us more clothes hangers when we asked. While the terrain is hilly, there are many restaurants and bars within walking distance and a grocery store across the street. The pool bar also had excellent food and great service. Would highly recommend.

The aparthotel is in a great location many restaurants the marina and beach all in walking distance. The pool is heated which was fantastic. The 2 bed apartments are a good size with 2 bathrooms. Cleaned every second day. No pool towels provided but we used the apartment ones and kept them when clean ones were provided. Lidl is across the road and many other shops in walking distance. My son was disappointed that the gym wasn’t open despite it being advertised. Late checkout accommodated for €10 per hour. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Another great two weeks

We have stayed in El Marques Palace many times (usually at least twice a year) The location is perfect for us at the top of the hill as the restuarants and bars we use are also at the top of the hill. All staff are very helpfull and polite.
It may be time for the appartements to be freshened up and bathrooms fittings could do with being replaced. However we will be back next year.

We have stayed at El Marques Palace many times over the last twenty years. It is a very good location for both beach and many good restaurants. The staff are always polite and very helpful. Street parking is not normally a problem but if necessary it is possible to pay for a parking space in the underground parking garage. While the rooms are clean it may be time for an update. However this will not stop us from going at least twice a year.

Comfortable apartments in lovely area

We had just escaped the tourist hell that is Los Cristianos, so Puerto Santiago/Los Gigantes seemed like a lovely haven. The apartments sit between the port village area of Los Gigantes and the (older and nicer end of the) Puerto Santiago strip, with easy access to both. There are plenty of very good restaurants within an easy walk, as well as beaches (rocky and sandy), look out points, supermarkets, and public transport.

The apartment complex (individual apartments differ) have views of Los Gigantes and the sea - the higher up ones have much better views and get more direct sunlight. The pools were great for our kids, and there is a nice bar/restaurant attached. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The apartments seem to be in a \"standard\" Canary Island configuration, with a balcony, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen/diner/second bedroom with a comfortable sofabed. The kitchen even has a washing machine - which is extremely useful. The cooking utensils were adequate for cooking pretty decent meals, although their were no supplies (like oil or salt and pepper) at all.

All in all, a very comfortable place to spend a few weeks, well located to explore South Tenerife. Our only criticism is that the apartment was looking a *little* tired, but if you mentioned anything specifically you could get it fixed almost instantly.

My family just got back from 10 days holidays at El Marques, the male receptionist staffs were brilliant and gave great tips on where to visit around town. Polite and friendly site staff as well.

We had a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment with a good size balcony. It was clean and the tv had English channels which was a great plus. Only downside is the bathrooms need modernisation. Swimming pool and site grounds were always clean and tidy. I'll definitely recommend.

Clean and spacious accommodation. The balcony was huge and private with a wonderful view. A great base location to explore the Island and safe free parking outside the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Plenty of bars and eateries nearby, especially The George where you will have breakfast if you book breakfast at the hotel. Walk down to the nearby towns and you will find wonderful Tapas and other restaurants. A wonderful break.

Nice enough place without any frills. Receptionist & pool bar manager where both very friendly, Rosi on reception was particularly helpful & informative. The pool was heated when we arrived but strangely got colder each day, maybe they switched the heating off? Apartment was spacious and well equipped. The only real negative is that the pool area is very overlooked by people walking by, a little more screening on the fence above next to the main road would help. The footfall past the hotel is mainly generated by people going to Lidl which is directly across the road from the hotel. All in all a pleasant enough stay

Have stayed at El Marques Palace many times and it is always good. The rooms are starting to need re-decoration as they are begining to look a bit tired. The receptionists are always polite and helpfull. For some reason this year there was no BBC tv, that is not a complaint but just a remark as it did not cause any problem with our holiday. We are sure we will be back again in the near future.

The room is large, the kitchen equipment is excellent (microwave, washing machine ...), the hotel pool is average. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast - below average. There are 3 variants of English breakfast available, you get coffee next to it, juice has to be paid extra. No croissants, flakes, fruit .... very bad choice!

We had a nice stay in difficult times, large well appointed apartment with everything you need, maybe a little tired but wouldn't take much to bring it up to date. Large terrace, hotel in good location with helpful friendly staff. I booked through Expedia for May 2020 but due to covid were unable to travel, rebooked for May 2021. A week before we were ro fly out my flight was cancelled so we had to fly out 3 days late, as soon i was informed of this i emailed hotel and explained the situation in great detail giving all dates and asking if we could have the 3 days from the beginning of our stay added on to the end of our stay, we were told there wouldnt be a problem but they offered to add the 3 days on to the wrong date, i emailed and pointed this out and didnt receive a reply, as we were flying out a day or so later i expected to sort it out on arrival but was informed i had lost the 3 days. I had adjusted my flight so we were flying back 2 days later. Hotel was adamant i had lost the 3 days even though i have their email saying it would be fine. I contacted Expedia which is very difficult to do, finally managed to get a reply on their Facebook page i was assured they would contact hotel and i would be able to sort it personally with hotel ut they still refused to allow me to use the days they owed me. A week before the end of our stay i contacted Expedia again to explain i had £110 credit from my original 2020 booking and they didnt let me use that either.

The apartment we were in 324 did need some decorating and updating, The kitchen did need replacing and there were not enough crockery glasses and no tins dihes bowl etc. that could be used in the oven. We did go and buy what we needed. When we spoke to the receptionist she said we should have come to them and they would have given us some but the appartment was privately owned

Lovely warm swimming pool, nice and quiet, never hard to get a sunbed and kids free to have fun without anyone blowing whistles at them, baby pool is as warm as a bath (tiny though). This is the reason we keep going back here. Kids would basically live in the pool if we let them.
Great area to stay in, relaxed location, suits older people and families best as quiet nightlife, lots of Spanish bars and restaurants nearby and lidls across the road is so handy

Beds are not great at all but we were tired enough to sleep anyway. Can be very noisy as well in front bedroom with traffic and people, sound proofing is non existent. And curtains in back bedroom don’t keep light out at all.
Booked a sea view apartment but had one which never got any sun in balcony which was disappointing
Did not like the pool bar at all, used to be run by a lovely Italian guy who did great coffee and crepes and lots of other stuff. Now it only does burger and fries and a toasty, brings you fries you’ve not asked for and then charges you for them. Kids were very sad this year there were no crepes. He shouted at people for bringing drinks to pool as well and basically made people uncomfortable.
Oven and hob pretty terrible if you want to do much cooking

It is supposed to be air-conditioned but it doesn’t work well. First night we slept drenched in sweat the second night we complained and asked for a portable fan which helped. It is up on a hill so lots of stairs to get to the beaches (great exercise!)

We stayed here with another couple in a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen. Hotel location is a good location between Los Gigantes and Santiago. You can walk down hill to either location. It is quite a steep walk but good exercise for walking the dinner off after a meal in any of the local restaurants. The apartment was more than adequate, big in size with 2 bathrooms. We were on a ground floor which had a generous patio and a good view toward the sea. The pool are and beds were fine, although the pool was a little chilly. Worth pointing out this was once a time share resort and some of the apartments are still privately owned, so even though the hotel was fully booked it was not that busy. One other thing worth noting is if you choose the breakfast option it is in a different building 100m away. The breakfast was actually very good, cold buffet and hot freshly cooked. WiFi was a little temperamental.

We have stayed at El Marques Palace many time over the last 15 years - The apartments are in need of fully refurbishment.
The units are as clean as they can be considering the age of the units and the staff are always polite and helpful.
Of course we will go to the area again (usually at least once per year) but it would be goof if money was now spent on the insides of the apartments.
The Wifi did not work in the apartment. We had to sit outside to get a signal. Could not understand as we were in apartment 208 which is virtually next to reception.

Great rooms and ocean view is worth the extra. Pools are nice and heated. Pool bar is great and you are made to feel very welcome. The BBQ night are great value.

Location is probably better suited to couples as pushing a buggy up and down hills wasn't fun however there are a selection of shops and restaurants near by.

The cleaning staff and maintenance staff always seem to be on the go and keep the place tip top.

We got a disabled friendly room with the street overviewing our balcony for the First night. Shower tray did not drain terrible smell in bathroom.

After complaining, got another room which was slightly better. Very small balcony with no sun at all. Balcony opening size was as big as a big TV.

Hotel was good overall but the rooms we got were terrible for the price we paid. Rooms cleaned only once every two days.

Hotel experience might have been good for other guests but our stay was just about about average to ok.

Nice roomy apartment with sea view (important)

We stayed for a week, were met at reception who knew we were coming and at what time. The apartment was as we remembered (we had been before) with large rooms (one bedroom/ lounge diner and bathroom and balcony) - clean and with all the tools / facility required (very handy having UK TV) and a welcome bottle of water in the fridge and bottle of red wine as a welcome. The reception staff were quick to answer any questions / issues raised (nothing major) Although not used air con is included.

The cleaning staff did their job well and as expected - usually when we were out.

The pool and snack bar was well attended (not by us)

Just arrived back from Tenerife last night and stayed at the El parques Palace and will be going back there again next year I couldn't fault it at all, a complementary bottle of wine on arrival in the room, the reception were very polite on arrival aswell and offered to back us a coffee whilst we signed in, the apartments are really spacious, ample room for a family room of 4 to 6 as one double room with ensuiet, another bedroom with two single beds and another bathroom spacious lounge and kitchen nice balcony over looking g the pool or sea depending what side of complex, they only slight let down was the pool was ment to be heated but didn't feel like it and as went in December it was cold in it but that is my only complaint

We have just returned from a stay at the Marques Palace and would definitely stay here again.
Pros:
- Lovely large and spacious apartment
- Lovely balcony with sea view
- Clean
- Nice kitchen/bar area opening into sitting room
- Plenty of clothes storage room
- Good location, near to local buses and supermarkets. Lidl almost next door - but make the effort to walk to the local big Mercadonna supermarket - much nicer
- Free wifi
- Pleasant and helpful staff
Cons:
- Very few! As a 3 star establishment, it is excellent.
- Bathrooms are very tired and need refurbishment
- New towels are needed
- Some wall or door hooks would be very helpful particularly in the bathroom and bedroom
- You could only use a maximum of 2 appliances before the electricity tripped off. For example, if the air con was on, you couldn't use the kettle and cooker.
- The Puerto Santiago area is very hilly so may not be suitable for people who are not fully mobile

The apartment was basic and needed some updating. The pool area was nice but sunbeds were not plentiful and at some times during the day were difficult to get hold of. Staff were friendly and helped with any problems swiftly. We enjoyed area as it was quiet and had a variety of good bars and restaurants. Good proximity to shops and other facilities.

Stayed for 4 nights in August. Very comfortable spacious apartment. Pool lovely with plenty of sun loungers. Would have loved a poolside bar that has longer opening hours as it was closed at approx 4/4.30pm as far as i can remember. Apartments at top of very large hill which didnt take long to get down but very steep when getting back to apartment however there are taxis available. Very pleased with our stay. €60 Taxi fare from airport. Right beside bus stop that runs very much on time.

Lovely relaxing holiday

The apartment was lovely, very spacious and clean and well equipped. Especially appreciated the blackout curtains. The pool was wonderfully heated and just the right size. The pool bar is run by an Italian and everything is cooked well,would've been nice to have longer opening hours as it shuts at 4:30 and on a Tuesday. Cleaning was very good, apartment cleaned and bedding and towels changed every two to three days. No evening entertainment but that's what we prefer
Only two downsides were the hard uncomfortable beds (was happy to get back to mine) and the lack of double glazing so you could hear people and vehicles quite clearly when trying to sleep (it's generally quiet though) Neither of these puts us off returning but would be happy if they got new mattresses.
Would just say also that it is definitely not the place to go if you like nightlife as it caters for an older generation. We were there as a family with two small boys and were perfectly happy but did rather feel we were disturbing the older generations peace by the pool at times

Clean spacious apartments

We stayed here for a couple of nights and the apartment was ideal. Very comfortable and everything you need for self catering. Walking distance to Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago tho is hilly. There are however bars and restaurants within a few minutes flatter walk. There are rooms with different views e.g garden, pool, sea so if you have a preference...ask. The accommodation is near a busy road so there is a bit if road noise but this does not distract from the excellent apartments themselves. Helpful friendly staff. Whole complex clean and well maintained.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There isn't much to do at all and as for El Marques Palace there's nothing much around it at all

Great hotel, superb staff

Really big room with all the features expected for a hotel of this standard. Wi fi and air con excellent. 3 close beaches and stunning scenery. Poolside cafe bar really good and warm and friendly service.

Great time was had by all.

Most relaxing stay,regular maid service and linen and towel changes.Nice pool area plenty of Sun beds available,no lifeguard although had cameras around pool area.
All in all a great holiday.

Great Apartments, very close to Shops, Supermarkets, Public Transport, Beach and Restaurants. Excellent sea view. Great location and very relaxing. Public transport comfortable and reliable. Trips to Loro Parque and Playa De Las Americas using Bonobus saved money very enjoyable.

Bedroom adjoining outside corridor excruciating noise unable to sleep. Plastic covers on bed unacceptable.

Lovely apartment. Huge balcony and spacious place.

Very nice holiday. Lovely apartment. Clean and spacious. Big balcony and nice kitchen. Beds a bit hard . Lovely pool but a bit noisy from the road next to it.

Self Contained Apartment in small resort

The Apartment was nicely furnished although a little lacking in kitchen utensils.
The service and Reception were very good and responsive to our needs.
We did not make use of the pool complex although it looked very good and not overcrowded. It was however adjacent to a main road.
The rooms with a sea view were in a building on a cul de sac so no problems with traffic noise or disturbance.
The location of the Apartment complex is in a hilly area and about a 10 min walk to the sea. there is a good supermarket within a 3 min walk so is very convenient for self catering.
There are a few adequate restaurants close by with nightly entertainment.

Excellent apartment facility and great sea view

Reception were helpful and reactive both on arrival and through the stay. The apartment was spacious, clean and very well appointed and arrival gift of water (in fridge) and bottle of wine was very welcome.

The servicing of the apartment (daily for rubbish and three daily for cleaning) was efficient and friendly.

If we returned to the resort we would have no qualms about staying here again.

Nice hotel, perfect self catering location

Perfect self catering spot, lidl accross road from pool, superdino outside road at back, rooms very nice with good air on, with good views from most, plenty of sunbeds available, we had a car and have been to area before so lots to do near, pool bar area not open, but with prices of drinks at shops was easy to accross rd when required, only negative is we had 1 cockroach on first day.

The staff working during the day was simply incredible, very grateful. The place is for 4 and a half, very comfortable and beautiful. I recommend staying.
