This hotel is about a 30-minute walk from Lisbon’s busiest tourist attractions, but there’s a 760 bus stop right at the door, and you can also easily take a taxi or Uber.

The hotel offers 24-hour customer service, and the reception staff are very warm and friendly. They even provide some free fruits for guests, which is a nice touch.

Although it’s officially a 2-star hotel, my experience was just as good as a 3-star stay. I truly enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to other travelers.

This hotel is well placed for access to buses and the Metro and the staff were very helpful in giving me directions and helping me plan journeys.
The buffet style breakfast suited me. A selection of cereals, fruit, pastries and drinks as well as hot options if you prefer..
The room was adequate, good quality bedding and air conditioning.

Price/quality ratio is right. The hotel is a bit outdated, and a good 10 minute walk from a metro/subway station. But busses run often, and are really close. The team at reception is fantastic - very helpful, in every aspect.

it is decent for the price of this hotel. I didn't like the stairs, very narrow with no hand rails. I slipped and got hurt. The elevator is very small only 2 people barely fit in there. There aren't many dining options or shops around this hotel. the bus is the only transportation nearby, you have to walk about 20min for the metro. Otherwise, be prepare to spend good cash on uber service or taxi.

Stayed 9 days here, so had substantial experince of the hotel. Firstly, it must be noted that the hotel staff are exceptional. 10/10 for them. They are friendly, professional and help in every single way possible. I cannot thank them enough. They are the heartbeat of the hotel. Fact.

Also, for more context, we had just flown infrom Porto and stayed at the Stay Hotel there. The Porto Hotel was well kept, recently renovated and looked fresh. This was the reason why we decided to book with Stay in Lisbon.

However, this particular hotel was a disappointment. It is old and worn down. You can note it from the rooms. Carpet hasnt been deep cleaned in ages. Curtains are old, musty and dirty. There is no fridge or safe in rooms and only half a strange cupboard. There was also a constant strange smell throughout the hotel. I think it is a sewearge type smell. It doesnt go away. However, I cannot fault the cleaninf staff. They are excellent and always left the room clean. They are doing the best taking into account the worn down hotel.

In summary, the price asked does not justify the hotel provided. Compared to our stay in the Porto branch, this was a big let down. We made it work, but I wouldn't recommend it for this price point. It is time to fix up the rooms and revamp the place.

I want to add again, the staff are your superstars. The aged hotel and smell is keeping you back.

The hotel receptionists are very nice.
But anything else, no way. The first room was a nightmare, not possible to open the windows. We changed it, but the 2nd was not much better; was not possible to closed the balcony door.
The carpet was dirty and it smelled really damp, black mold in the shower.
In short, never ever again this hotel because the price was not small at all.

The hotel is in a good location right on the bus stop and an easy walk to the metro. This made it very easy to get around Lisbon. The staff mostly was very pleasant and helpful. We had our favorites. Unfortunately , the hallway and our room had a very unpleasant smell. Did not go away even with open windows. There was a problem with the fire suppressant system as it malfunctioned and we were unable to open our window due to water running down outside. Had to put up with room smell.
Would stay there again but would check on the smell issue before paying for room.

The property was overall ok. It was going through significant remodeling on some floors which took away from the elegance. But, I had a fifth floor room with a nice view. Although I did not have A/C, the hotel staff gave me a functional fan which helped out a lot during the summer days.

The hotel is located in a spot that's accessible to public transportation and there are a lot of nice local businesses like restraunts and shops in the neighborhood. But the hotel was very run down and under construction. We couldn't even rest after our flight because of all the drilling and banging.

The shower sprayed water absolutely everywhere and the design of the bathroom was terrible. The toilet was behind the door and the sink was directly in front of it. So you had to stand in the tub to close the bathroom door in order to get to the toilet.

The staff was courteous enough. The sheets and towels were clean and bed was comfortable enough for 1 night. If we had been staying any longer, I would have asked to be relocated.

The hotel was very well located, However, I hated my experience there. I was put on room that was dark, with no access to sunlight. The room was dirty and during the 3 days I was there they never changed the towels or the bedsheets. The room was dirty and at night there were insects and I have pictures to proof it. However, I’ll not post it, out of respect for some of the receptionist that were kind and respectful. However, I do want to mention that I was verbally insulted on the day I was leaving by one of the hotel employees.

The bathroom had a bad smell coming from the toilet pipes, shower handle was broken and hot water was not running in the night I stayed there. There was not a small refrigerator in the room and the mattres was a bit dirty.

Staff friendly & helpful, hotel was disgraceful. Needs to close down & redecorate from top to bottom to replace flaking paintwork & missing plaster that has fallen from the walls. Add extra electric sockets to rooms, 1 is not enough, repair late 19th. early 20th. century lift that & staircase could be a good feature if kept in good repair, also repair Air Con. in rooms so as not to have try to sleep with windows open on busy road. These comments are from someone who has worked in the Catering trade for 50 years, over 1/2 in Hotels.

Great deal for a solo traveler

If you were looking for something luxurious, then this place is not for you. However, if you're looking for a fairly priced hotel with a central location then you might consider this hotel. The hotel was worn, but relatively clean and well-maintained. It did have a certain European charm. The low point was the continental breakfast, which had very few offerings, and most of the items were low quality. For the seven euros they charge, I would recommend grabbing a quick bite to eat at one of the local cafés or bakeries located within a few blocks. This hotel is perfect for me, as I was traveling alone and on a budget. I didn't have anyone to impress, and it's convenience, affordability, and location made it an excellent choice.

Good location but room lacked comfort

This hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop which we used to access Lisbon and Sintra. It does not have air conditioning, it had a minor sewer odor, and we were charged for breakfast after we were told it was complimentary. The Manager was friendly and offered to store our bikes but the room was disappointing and we likely could have had a better stay for the same cost.

Very basic hotel which would with more then just the lock of paint. Obvious dump problem. We had only 1 socket in the whole room. Very noisy because of the busy roads around. Basic breakfast.
Good thing was the connection to city centre and nice and polite staff.

Arriving from Metro Station meant an UPHILL walk........I learnt by experience it can be avoided by using bus 760 from Maritim!! Or walk a shallower hill for 20mins (\".)

The staff were very helpful, especially when I found out the air-con wasn't functional - they got me a fan to use because even in late Spring, the room was a bit warm for me.

The room itself felt a bit cramped due to a disproportionately large bed.......it was at least quite comfortable!! The place did look a bit tired.

What I was very pleasantly surprised by was being given a bottle of mineral water EACH day; it was always left on the desk!!
I should ask if other hotels should do this ;p

My biggest gripe was being stuck outside the hotel waiting for reception ~2.30am (\"_) Apparently the 4th alert buzzer didn't work and their phones don't have a pager type function

We were told that new administration took over on 21 December. So they are still coming to grips with what they inherited
After a poor first night the hotel moved us without quibble to a better room with a plug for the washbasin (important if you wear contact lenses!) and supplied extra pillows and a room heater. We visited in an exceptionally cold January, so the freezing temperatures were not expected.
The hot water supply was not sorted out whilst we were there so the shower was lukewarm at best,
But the place was beautifully clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast food with fresh fruit, lovely bread and pastries , though the coffee could have been hotter.

O quarto era, em geral, confortável e adequado a uma estadia de uma noite, com exceção de um pormenor: o quarto tinha uma portada com acesso a um pequeníssimo varandim, só que esse varandim é partilhado. Se me tivesse limitado a abrir a portada sem ir ao exterior, não suspeitaria que os hóspedes do quarto ao lado ficariam com acesso ao meu quarto porque, convenhamos, não é algo suficientemente expectável para ser passível de verificação... Acresce que o quarto ao lado tinha a portada aberta, e possivelmente avariada. Isto porque às 2h da manhã fui acordada por um barulho que dava a entender que alguém estava a tentar arrombar a minha portada, mas felizmente eram só os hóspedes do quarto ao lado a tentar, possivelmente sem grande sucesso, fechar a respetiva portada a todo o custo. O hotel até pode ser prático e bem localizado, mas não compensa porque é, objetivamente, inseguro.

Personnel disponible à l’accueil même très tard dans la nuit. C’est un point positif.
Pble de lumière dans la chambre. Pas de lumière à part sdb et une petite lampe. On nous a fourni une Multi prise pour recharger nos appareils !!!
Après visite des électriciens le lendemain lumière mais prises électriques qui ne fonctionnaient plus. Pas d’autre chambre disponible avant le départ d’autres occupants.
Impossible pour nous de tout remballer et de laisser les bagages à la réception. Nous sommes restées 6 nuits dans ces conditions. Il s’agissait d’une chambre avec deux lits simples.
En arrivant très tard , du au décalage de l’avion on nous a donné une chambre qui n’aurait pas dû être louée !!
Pble aussi de réapprovisionnement du petit déjeuner le week-end. En semaine ça allait.
Nous sommes donc très déçues de la qualité de la chambre et de l’attente au petit déjeuner. Lait froid également.
Un geste commercial aurait dû être le minimum !!
