The room we initially got was on the below-ground level floor, which reeked of urine and bathroom cleaning supplies. The shower was half uncovered directly facing the beds; my travel partner and I were was quite uncomfortable with that so I asked for an alternate room. At first the receptionist said \"No, I really don't have anything else\" until I persistently asked and he finally offered a suite room on the 6th floor with availability. We moved to the 6th floor and wow, it was not only sour-smelling, but there was black mold growing on a corner of the walls in the bathroom, NO SHOWER HEAD (only a handheld one inside of a jacuzzi-style tub without any doors so water sprayed everywhere, and extremely uncomfortable/unsupportive pillows. Although it was more spacious than the first room we got, this was absolutely TERRIBLE for a \"4 star\" establishment -- we couldn't believe our living conditions. We were so tired and it was our final night in Portugal so we opted not to argue with the front desk anymore and just stayed until our early flight in the morning. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone... and I'm usually quite flexible with unideal living situations.

The staff was wonderful, with thanks to both of the front desk staff who made our stay just a little better. If you're looking for a little different part of Lisbon, then this is a great place to stay. Around every corner are wonderful little restaurants and bars with a laid back feel. The rooms were well appointed, with lots of amenities, a comfortable bed, roomy and a great balcony.

The rooms were kept clean and neat. We had a city view - which wasn’t interesting. There was a large balcony which would be great for warmer weather. We traveled in November so didn’t get to use the balcony to its fullest.

We purchased breakfast which had a good variety including fresh yogurt and fresh fruit. The staff were very nice and helpful. They responded quickly to emails we sent prior to our arrival.

Good location for a short stay in Lisbon. Public transport stop is a few meters from hotel and gets you to all the main tourist attractions. Staff courteous and helpful. On busy main road but you'll find it difficult to find anywhere not. Overall excellent value for money.

Excellent stay at the property. The room was super clean and comfortable. The bathroom as well. My notes are just the lack of light but that's not enough to take a star off. Now, I removed a star from Staff just because of the cleaner that was shouting on her phone while cleaning the room opposite to mine. I could hear the whole conversation, and not only that, the housekeeping team shouts to each other asking if the other has XYZ... Very unconsidered of guests. Everyone at the desk was great specially Vasco who provided the expected great Portuguese hospitality service with a smile.

A new hotel about one year and half ,in an old building, that’s the reason for rooms being very small, sink in the bathroom was the size of a shoebox!!, very thin old and used towels,i stayed for 8 nights and 3 days the towels had holes , breakfast is just ok, 2 kinds of cheese and just one processed ham in cold cuts department, some fruits , a good omelette,some hard boiled eggs , some sweets, and the regular juices, kind of a 2~3 star BK hotel not 4 that I payed, had a problem with the little sink that was plugged ,and dead battery in the safe box , but the issues where resolved very quick by the manager who is a very nice person , great staff, friendly helpful and with smiles on their faces , good shower and good bed ,safe and very clean , not really a 4 star but I recommend

They don’t care about problems

For the most part Hotel was great. Most of the staff was amazing. Clean property. We got a suite and first thing we noticed was the fridge was not working. After going down and talking to the front desk the first 3 days we were there, the 3rd day they finally told us it was broken. On top of that the gentleman at the front desk said there was nothing they could do about it. No compensation no room change to one that had a fridge. Just a simple it doesn’t work. Tough luck. We specifically paid for a suite to have a fridge so we could have cold white wine. We were very disappointed that this hotel didn’t even try to make this problem better.

Very friendly and helpful check-in. The breakfast was very good. The hotel feels small but modern. The bedroom was very bright with a large balcony. The only complaint is that the room didnt feel very clean - there was visible dust and hair on the floor.

Standard room is small for two travelers with two suitcases- only one luggage rack. 8-10 mins walk to Arroios metro or Saldanha. Nice breakfast. Hoyle kept our luggage at our early arrival and also after check out.

This was a nice hotel! The room was small but comfortable. The only thing that I would have preferred, would have been if the shower temperature was hotter. In cooler weather it would have felt much too cold. The neighbourhood the hotel is in is just outside the tourist core, making it quieter and peaceful. There are nice cafes and a laundromat around the corner. It’s very accessible via transit!

Stadthotel mit entsprechender Lautstärke in den Zimmern zur Straße. Die isolierten Fenster helfen. Nach hinten ist ruhiger, aber eine Lüftung hat ununterbrochen draußen Geräusche gemacht. Zimmer waren sauber. Frühstück war okay. Lage des Hotels ist etwas oberhalb. Gut erreichbar vom Flughafen. Nächste Metro etwas 10 Minuten per Fuß entfernt.
