Great location, not great for working

This hotel served me very well. It is close to the metro and many buses, and has easy access to almost anywhere in the city (including direct lines to train and airport). The breakfast was ample and varied.
It was a bit problematic in terms of doing work in the room--there were only two outlets that were available for connecting devices; and there was no chair at the desk.

The staff there were nice and welcoming, the hotel is very close to shopping mall and subway station, its a beautiful neighborhood. However, the facility within the hotel appears to be quite old. It was bit noisy when I tried to sleep at night, because I could hear the traffic on the street very clearly even after I closed my windows

Checked out a day early! The solid glass shower door was falling off the hinges, scraping the floor, I had notified front desk 2 days earlier with no results. They have a no refund policy so I lost that night fee.

Big room, big shower/bathroom too. Breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly and polite. No complaints. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the metro line that goes to the airport. Plenty of restaurants near by.

The hotel was in a good area for all transport, including metro direct to airport. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. 1 small bottle of water provided per day. No tea/coffee making facilities. Air conditioning was erratic. Bedside table was missing and a second chair would have been useful. TV was very quiet and not possible to increase volume so very difficult to hear above the air conditioning which could not be turned off. Did not try breakfast but plenty of other options nearby. Useful luggage storage facility.

Located close to several restaurants, a shopping mall, and convenient transportation links including both the metro and buses. Nevertheless, it's not on a main road and therefore quiet. An Uber from downtown ranges from €4-€8.

Check-in was easy and the lobby area is pleasant. The decor of the whole hotel is modern and simple. The breakfast room is below ground and just about big enough, although can be full at peak times. Food selection and quality was good although bacon and croissants undercooked. Two lifts serve all floors.

The rooms were spotless, and the daily cleaning regimen well executed. There's a large safe in the closet, ample hanging/storage space, and a desk, although the chair wasn't suitable for sitting and working for long periods.

The downsides, however, were unacceptable:

- the front door is heavy and difficult to open;
- there is a short flight of steps on the ground floor to access the lifts which is cumbersome with heavy luggage;
- I booked two double rooms for single occupation, expecting a large, comfortable bed. In fact, it was two single beds pushed together. During the night, they drifted apart leaving a canyon, and I was unable to sleep properly for 4 days;
- the rooms were fitted with baths featuring flimsy, clingy shower curtains, which is a pet hate of mine;
- several bulbs were out for my entire stay;
- the bath and sink drained very slowly;
- electrical sockets not conveniently located and no USB points.

I would not book this hotel again.

The place was ideal and close to a shopping mall. Only about a 30 minute walk to the Arch and downtown. Room was warm and did not have air conditioning. Windows were able to open. Lighting in the hallways was very dark not used to such dim hallways. Check in was easy and staff was great

Great location near major metro station, restaurants, groceries. Nice large bathroom.
However, certainly not a 4 star hotel as they claim, due to the following issues:
Should be a ramp to roll heavy lugguge up to their elevator.
Bedroom was nondescript / without character.
Fluctuating shower temperature.
Room pass card kept malfunctioning.
Air temperature control was overly complicated, could not maintain room comfort.
Small TV /Remote need updating.
Cable channel package was very limited.

All staff except checkout were great. We told checkout mould in bathroom was told ya. No coffee pot supposed to be 4 star not upto standard. ight staff said all 4 star have coffee in room but not there not willing to pay 8 euros for coffee in morning. Had to pay cash for morning shuddle to airport not licence company but he was good driver.red light flashing all nite in ceiling, signs on door to bright to sleep.

Nice base for exploring Lisbon

Our stay was overall, very positive. The room was bright, airy and clean. The daily room cleaning was very thorough. The location was great for getting around by metro and buses. And there were convenient supermarkets etc near by for snacks and anything you missed in your packing. Check in was a little slow and bizarrely the hotel had no forks when we ask for one following a take out order after a long day of sight seeing (while they don’t offer room service, they do offer a breakfast [which we didn’t have] so thought this was a bit odd/unhelpful). Overall, we would stay again.

Staff is rude. As a regular client although I knew the booking was nonrefundable and I had to check out earlier for personal reasons asked not to be refunded but to change the night one week ahead. Said was impossible as a revenue manager in an hotel i know it’s possible as a deal with decisions like that all the time. The receptionist i spoke on the phone hoping for the hotel to be flexible and reasonable as so rude that actually hang up the phone in my face. Totally unacceptable cliente for a frequent client now imagine for a non frequent client?

A central hotel a little away from the areas of Lisbon that attract tourists. While served by the metro the nearest station is large and finding the correct exit is very hard. The rooms are comfortable and well fitted though there were problems with the hair-drier. Breakfast is good but there is no other food available in the hotel. However, the staff were able to not only recommend a superb traditional Portuguese restaurant nearby, but also provide with that recommendation a free drink of port at the restaurant. A good hotel provided there is a willingness to take time to travel into the centre.

No Air Conditioning and No Service

There was no air conditioning on the fifth floor, to which we were assigned. After asking about the lack of cooling (on a 92 degree day), the initial response refused to acknowledge that the air conditioning was out, and furthermore, stated that there was no other room available. All we obtained in compensation was a fan, which we had to ask for, and two vouchers for the continental breakfast.

I'm still there, by the way. I extended my stay for four more days. Before coming here, I had to do a lot of things at the last minute and for that reason forgot to bring a few things. The desk people at the hotel were helpful in helping me find places to buy them, ordering a taxi, etc.

better bathrooms, I fell in the bathroom, coming out of the tub, tub too high, slippery floors in the bathroom. good thing I did not end up in hospital.

- please be aware that the people around there may not know the hotel location- we asked at least 20 persons in the area after we dropped off the bus, but none of them knew. Finally, one of the coffee shop employees looked at the google map with the address we provided and had an idea of the direction - then we walked to that direction and looked around to find it. (we did not have internet to look because our phone plan not in Portugal).
- also, the hotel hallway is very dark, needs more lightning.
- the hotel 2 elevators are very slow, and not at the ground level. We had to walk up about 5-7 stairs to use the elevators- it is hard for us because we had 2 heavy suitcases. The lift beside the stairs are only used for disable people.
- the hair dryer in the bathroom did not work. I had to call the front desk for a usable one.

Great hotel for price value. Travelling alone I felt safe, hotel is clean, comfortable. I could check in at 10 am, which was great after a long flight. Lots of restaurants, stores and food markets around the hotel. Walking distance to Center. 2 min to Metro. Personal at the reception were nice, polite and very helpful. I would go back anytime.

We were very pleased with our stay. The only drawback was blocked sink and bath which meant the water would take ages to drain, and the haitdryer would work for 30 seconds then you would have to wait for 5 mins for it to switch on, then 30 secs of hair drying and same again. Staff were very pleasant and room nice. Located in good and quiet area.

The hotel was great but had a couple of quirks. Entrance keys didn't always work; cabs had hard time finding it and was actually dropped off more than 19 blocks away and friendly policeman couldn't find it either; shower curtain fell on my head; towels plentiful and the service was fantastic.

Very convienent Hotel at a very reasonable price.

We had a 5 night stay here for our holiday in Lisbon. Situated in the business district I wouldn't recommend this as a family hotel. The metro is a two minute walk away, and to walk to the centre of Lisbon (rossio square) only takes 20 minutes. The rooms are very modern and well equipped with the basics, there seems to be a shortage of electric sockets so bear that in mind if it is important to charge up all your tech at once. The lobby isn't the most welcoming of areas and I wouldn't recommend it to sit and have a drink in.
There was 3 shopping centres and a plethora of cafés and restaurants surrounding the hotel so it wasnt an issue.
Air-conditioning worked great and backout curtains and window blinds ensured a pitch-black room for an enjoyable sleep. Wifi was fast and free and never dropped connection. The rooms were narrow and make walking in it slightly awkward. The bathroom felt cramped because the towel rail was portable and had to block use to one facility at a time to get around it.
Would I go back? Probably, if the price was relativley the same as what I paid this time. But it is not worth any more than £50 a night.

Good location but basic

The hotel is in great location with the metro station to a number of different lines in close proximity. There is also local market and shopping mall nearby. The hotel is basic and i would say is more of a 3 star hotel. There is no kettle in the room, no toothbrush/toothpaste. Our first room, the cooling on the air con didn't work and the mini bar fridge wasn't working and the lights in the room all had different colour temperature. These were sorted after a room change but disappointing first night.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and not pushy by trying to sell other features.

Very decent, great for those who don't want to waste money on luxury.

Very well located, easy access to public transportation and cabs as well.

Staff was respectful, willing to help with directions when asked. Not pushy, nosy or intimidating like other hotels I experienced in the same stay in Europe. Also, no bills at the end of the stay charged under my credit card without my consent, just like happened also with the other hotels.

OUR TRIP TO LISBON FOR THE DIANA KRALL CONCERT

We loved this hotel - it has been recently refurbished so everything is nice and new - the beds were really comfortable and I liked the bathroom. All in all a very good choice to stay here. The neighbourhood of Saldana was a lovely area of Lisbon - central to everything

It is a nice hotel but not sure if it's a 4 star or more like a 3 star. There was a safe in the room but was locked, the receptionist promised us to get someone to unlock it but nobody turned up. The fridge was empty which was a good thing as we could put food and water in it without being charged.
The disappointing thing is that there is no bar in the hotel and the restaurant which we didn't see was only for breakfast.
Apart for the first two girls on reception when we arrived, the rest of the staff were nice and helpful.

The staff was not tremendously helpful. when we initially walked into the room there was the unmistakable smell of human waste. this dissipated somewhat after the window was opened and the room was aired out for several minutes. the room was clean however and there was no evidence of dirt or stains in the bathroom. the room was very small and difficult to navigate around. I was disappointed to discover that there was no iron in the room. we were offered the laundry service but this had a turn around time of several hours.
The hotel was, however, very close to all forms of public transport including taxis, metro and bus service. the aerobus stopped close by as well. there is a large food and shopping court across the street and the prices there were very good.

Nice hotel if you're lucky with the neighbours.

The hotel has recently been renovated and the rooms are kept quite clean. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin. I had listen to the amorous exertions of the couple next room for a large part of the night. If you are an audiophile voyeur, this should be right up your street. Families better avoid it, however, as it can be very hit and miss.

The hotel is not a 4 star, they charge the whole bill upon checking in, not the day I left, that stopped a client from procuring another hotel, front desk lady argue with me because I wanted to make a phone call, local, but did not had a cc on file, however I paid with Platinum AE. Response from the hotel? She thought it was another entity that paid for so therefore I could not charge a thing at the hotel, not that there is something in the hotel to charge. Breakfast is too expensive for what you can have across the str, is continental, croissants and coffee, with a couple of bakery items. They don't trust people the reason they charge the all acct at the beginning, apparently people have moved out with bad cc, this from front desk lady when explain to me why they charge my cc in advance, never seen this before. Cleaned very well everyday, had to replace refrigerator upon asking, and lady knew where I was from without me telling or talking to anybody, I guess googling customers to pass time is an option. Never again at this hotel
