Perfect for girls trip!!

Myself and my friends visited this hotel as a celebration for finishing high school. The hotel staff were so welcoming and willing to help, making us feel so safe as young female travellers. The common amenities of the hotel were stunning - pool, rooftop bar and piano bar being the ones we used the most.
We were staying in one of the rooms that have not been renovated (yet) and while the bathroom could have done with an update, the beds were very comfortable and the room was always very clean.
The location of the hotel is ideal! The metro is a two minute walk away and there are plenty of cute cafes to have breakfast. The hotel is close enough to the city centre so that you can walk, but far enough for there to be little crowds.
Would recommend!!

Nice area as rather quiet at night; convenient with two chained supermarkets right opposite to the hotel; a number of nice restaurants nearby; 5 minutes walk from nearest metro; 10 minutes walk from department store; around 10 minutes by car tovcity centre, overall convenient location.
Room stayed was in the old wing of which the facility a bit aged but still worked; a bit hot in room as the air-con was set to be by central control at fan mode only (cannot change in-room); not sure if the conditions with rooms in the new wing would be better~

The Turim Lisbon was my oasis in Lisbon. We had to leave our cruise ship because my wife became ill. The front desk staff was so helpful it was amazing. Helped me move my wife from the terrors of the public hospital to the care of the private one. It literally saved her life, and it was the desk staff at this hotel that helped me choose the right hospital and arrange (in Portugues of course) the ambulance to transfer her there.
The hotel itself is great. Piano bar, large rooms, very clean. The only thing I did not appreciate was the 55% mark-up that Expedia added to my initial stay. I renewed my room for several nights at a much lower rate.
I would highly recommend this hotel, but I would book directly with the hotel.

Currently building on a property next door, view out of window was showing builders hut, within property really clean, room was spacious and breakfast was good and plentiful. Only 1 person on desk and when we checked in the desk was empty for 10 minutes, despite ringing bell.

- SUPER helpful staff

- Close to metro
- Easy to arrange airport transfer

Cons:
- Internet sucked
- It smelled veryyyyy fragrant like in a super floral weird way
- Hairdryer basically didn't do anything
- We didn't use the TV but the TV was probably from like 1995
- That weird glow in the dark map for the hotel was too bright and we had to figure out how to cover it for us to not feel like our room was completely lit up at night
- Aggressively blinking light overhead

Honestly, like other Turim hotels this was a great place to stay. Extremely helpful and friendly staff (great staff!), close to Metro, many restaurants around and within a short walking distance, grocery store just around the corner, very large room!
Only criticism would be the furnishings in the room are outdated. Really, that’s it.
I’d be very happy to stay here again.

Staff were really helpful at the reception. Went out sightseeing during the day and I always came back to a spotless room. The cleaners did a very good job.
Breakfast was a buffet and was quite good. Hotel is in a good location, a big grocery store was nearby and just a minute walk away. the train station was also a 3 minute walk away.
All in all was a perfect stay.

Very friendly staff at check in & quick service. Nice reception area with a bar area next to it. Breakfast area was to the other side. Lift to all floors.

Location was slightly out of the centre, but was only short walk from the metro station which was on the airport line. We then used public transport to get to centre. Area looked safe.

Room was dated, but clean & good size. We booked a double room, but it came with double bed & single bed. There was a small fridge, wifi was also ok in the room. Room service done on daily basis & well stocked each time.

Friendly staff in the breakfast room, with help yourself drinks, hot & cold buffet style food.

Check out was also quick & hassle free.

Hotel is great for a few days in Lisbon if you want to travel around ,it’s a bit of a walk to places but you can get Uber’s or local transport to get around cheaply , room was spacious and clean as was bathroom , tv is ancient but we didn’t watch it so not a problem to us , staff polite and helpful , breakfast was ok enough to get you started for the day , we got a train to Sintra which I would definitely recommend as a day out , 11 euros by train for all day ticket , then we got a Tut tut round to see all the main sites ,

About 15-20 min walk to old town.
Room a little too warm and we couldn’t change the setting. Maybe for more passive tourists the room temperature is fine but for the likes of us who walk + 20 miles a day, we rather have our room extra cold.

Hotel is in convenient location for both Saldanha & Parque Metro stops. Large bedroom - clean / comfortable. Plug missing from bath (had shower), A/C control panel a bit temperamental. Hot water in short supply before 7 am on one morning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast quite good.

Hotel is old and in need of much renovation..... its qjite a bit out from city centre but fortunately there is a metro only 5 mins away. Food was only ok..... staff were friendly. If all you want is a bed to sleep then this would be ok. Also no spare plug sockets in my room....had to keep unpluging tv when i needed to charge my phone.

In order to turn on the lights in the bathroom one had to have lights on in the bedroom. Not particularly good for those of us who need to go to the toilet during the night and don't want to wake our partners up. The TV was very old - 4:3 aspect - and the actual channel list bore no relationship to the printed list. The bed was comfortable.

after asking if there was a place close by to buy water was told that the mini bar had water so I used 2 330 ml bottles and on check out was charged 7 euros for it . the mattresses are not very new or good

Good hotel in excellent position

Hotel decor may seem a little dated, but the very professional and pleasant staff made for an excellent stay for sightseeing in Lisbon. Just a short walk from Saldanha Metro which links directly to the airport, and only 2 streets away from Parque Metro which abuts the park leading down to Avenida da Liberdade. Gulbenkian Museum only 10 min walk away. Great restaurant and cafe in next street above and a decent supermarket around the corner. Good breakfast and a good vibe in the small hotel bar. Quiet, large room at the back of the hotel. Turim have cracked the requirements needed for a stress free and comfortable stay.

Need urgent upgrade and deep cleaning

The location is ok. There is a lot of humidity in the corredors and in the rooms. Really bad. There AC is fully managed by the reception desk so extremely inconvenient, inefficient and it doesn’t really work well. There isn’t any spare power outlets in the rooms so good luck charging your phones and etc. youngsters to rent your safe and the TVs are probably 20 years old or so. In summary, this hotel was probably 4 starts 30 years ago... not anymore. The staff is ok and tries to help but there is not much they can do. Breakfast is overpriced at per person in my opinion...

Worst ever!

It has been by far the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. I don't know how it's rated 4 stars when it's a barely a 2 stars standard.
Receptionists are rude, not helpful, arrogants and unpolite. Except for Hugo. They don't even bother to look at your face when you are talking. One of them even complain to me, that they were understaffed (only two working in the hotel), therefore they were unable to fix the phone on my room.
One of the rooms has a extremely noisy A/C and the \"brainy\" suggestions from 2 different employees was: you keep calling when it gets too loud so we can turn it on and off how many times you wish. So, I should keep waking up when it gets too cold and ask to have the heat turn up and when the noise gets unbareable I call again to have it turned off?!? Talking about a peaceful and restful sleep that's not what we can look at staying in that place.
The service from the reception is so off that looks like a prank joke.
Not to mention the TV from the early 90s. So it's the elevator.

It's a nightmare.

Close to Eduardo VII park with a supermarket within the block. We ate in one nite with some groceries purchased there. Very good restaurants close by. Breakfast in the hotel is more than adequate. Reception staff were helpful with all enquiries. You have to rent a safe key. They called us a ‘reputable’ taxi to get us back to the airport which was one third the price of the taxi from the airport to the hotel. Beware, it should cost under fifteen euro. Quiet street. Good value for your dollar.

Transit in Lisbon

TURIM Lisbon was useful to me specifically as a safe place to stay overnight while on a long layover at Lisbon Airport. The connecting flight to Casablanca did not go for 23 hours (this was a reduced fare). I do not necessarily know if others would make the same choice, but for me it was a chance to look at Lisbon while on the way to the main destination.

An okay place. Very low-key, but clean.

Stayed 3 nights here--a quiet area with a smattering of graffiti here and there and a hotel or hostel in each block but the rest mostly residential. At night we only saw a handful of people on the streets - all seemingly tourists looking for their lodging. There are just a few cafes/restaurants in the immediate blocks around the hotel, but there was usually at least one place open between 7 AM and 8 PM, so you could have a little breakfast or dinner with the local residents without paying tourist prices. Hotel room was older, with dated styling and worn furnishings, but fair-sized. Comfy temps, bed, and bath, and very clean. If you are in town for business and don't care about sightseeing, or if you are trying to stick to a budget, I would recommend this location as a fair value for the money, with easy access to transportation that can whisk you to tourist sites in 10-15 minutes.

Well located on a side street

Great Hotel. Located off the main boulevard about three blocks. Surrounding area seemed residential. One or two buildings in the area run down, but overall neighborhood is nice. Hotel outside appearance small, in between other buildings. Lobby clean and neat, classy look. Check in was great, personnel helpful and welcoming, good English speakers. Room was very clean, large, with double bed, single bed, table, chairs, closet space, drawers, desk and good size bathroom with normal size shower. Towels and linen clean and good condition. Ate Dinner at restaurant, food not very good, bland, did not seem fresh and was expensive. Metro stop (Picoas) located about two-three blocks away, 4-5 min walk, as well as others close by (Saldanha). Easy walking distance to coffee/pastry shops, restaurants, local markets. 10-15 min walk to main Hop-on Hop-off bus stop (Stop1) at Marques de Pomal. Hotel not in the main tourist area of Baixa or the restaurant district which is nice if you would like to get away to a more quite area in the evening, Taxi from Airport cost only 11 Euros!. We road the metro back to the Airport which was really easy. Did notice there are a lot of Turim Hotels in the city and all seemed to have good locations.

I had reservation for 3 night but unfortunately our connected flight had cancelled in London so, i arrived in Lisbon a day late, stay in Lisbon 2 nights only, however after long hours struggled at airport we ware glad to be in room to have shower and rest , room was Spacious, nice and cool wooden floor reasonable size of bathroom etc. Nothing to complain about property, beside there was constantl noise at night ( guessing, from water pipe) don’t know it there always or just that period. Over all clean, cozy, ok location.

This hotel is closed to the Metro and closed to the tourist buses. Fifty meters from a supermarket. and closed to many \"pastelarias\" and restaurants. Excellent walk (long walk) to the center taking \"Libertadores Ave\" from the hill. Paolo, the night recepcionist is the best of a great staff. We have the perfect choice for our next stay in Lisbon. Taking the room without breakfast was a great idea, because there are other places cheaper and with local menu for breakfast. There is a safety box in the room, but you have to pay for the key.

Wouldn't go back

A few hours after making this reservation I realized I put in the wrong date. I attempted to change it with hotels.com who said the hotel could not help me. I then attempted to change it directly with the hotel which would have gladly accommodated me but said hotels.com had to do it. The end result was that I had to make a second reservation, paid another €100+ for the reservation on the 7th and lost my money for the reservation on the 14th. Not ok from any point of view. I've stayed at Turim before at another location which was much better (I highly recommend Turim Saldanha). The Turim Lisboa is an antiquated hotel that still has 19\" analog tv sets in its rooms and only 2 electrical outlets. Service was average at best.

This is a good hotel

This is a good hotel. Our two rooms were large by average standards and had comfortable beds. Ours was quiet and served as a sufficient base from which to explore Lisbon. Some may find the hotel a little too far from the centre. We walked (30-45 mins pleasant stroll) or used the bus (ca €1.90 each from Rossio). Our only criticism was that the staff needed to smile more. Only 1 of the 5 or so we had contact with was a happy, smiling, little chap who went out of his way to help (especially with gin & tonics!!) . The others shouldn't be working in a hotel in my opinion. We didn't eat in the hotel at all so we cannot comment on the food. We used the car park (€15 per night) and also the room safe (ca €2.50 per day oddly but at least there was a safe).

Pleasant hotel conveniently placed for metro.

Just returned after a week in Lisbon. Pleasant , relaxed hotel and all needs catered for. We were on self catering so did not use restaurant facilities but there was a decent sized restaurant there available for breakfasts and dinner in the evening.The staff were pleasant , helpful and could not do enough for you , although at times it appeared there was a shortage of staff available when the bar , reception area got busy. The staff on duty did there best to accommodate everyone, serving drink, phoning taxis, giving information etc.

the rooms were reasonable sized, comfortable and cleaned every day.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff was particularly helpful when I had a problem with my airline tickets. I had four people working with me, calling the airlines, and making certain that my tickets, which were inadvertently canceled by the airlines, were reinstated, and I was able to get my boarding passes. It isn't often that a hotel extends this kind of personalized service. They were courteous and caring.

Nice hotel about 3 minutes walk to the blue line and 8 minutes to the yellow line . Friendly and helpful staff . The negatives bed was uncomfortable and only outlet located in the bathroom.

CONVENIENT WELL PRICED & CLEAN HOTEL

Overall happy with the hotel - Large bathroom & room - clean etc. The internet connection was not always strong and sometimes struggling to connect - that was the only non positive. I recommend it overall for its quality & price.

Terrible internet connection in the rooms; unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. They charge 2.50 euro/night for using the in-room safe: also quite unpleasant. The only good thing is the breakfast. I would avoid it and stay somewhere closer to downtown for the same price.

Planning on returning soon.

Had an excellent experience. Very impressed with the staff and breakfast. Just wish there were more power outlets in the room. Had to unplug the TV to charge phones..

Nice Hotel - in the City Centre

The Only Issue I had was that The WIFI was terrible in the room I stayed. Breakfast was great.

Overall It is a Great hotel, apart from the WIFI to the room.

The hotel is located in central Lisbon and closed to subway stations ideal for tourists. Staff is attentive and friendly. Our room is capacious, which I think is good value. But the wifi signal in room is unstable and weak.

Funky Four Star?

Overall condition of hotel and rooms a little run down. Don't look too closely.
Synthetic bedding a dissapointment and uncomfortable. Don't go bare foot; the floor never gets a good cleaning.
Centrally controlled heating kind of odd. Also, I don't like warm air coming from near the ceiling...
Food poor and not always available.
Request a square, flat monitor with same stretched image as old fashioned square TV. Progrming not too bad.
Staff above average and very professional.
