Property is comfortable and location is in the center of Lisbon. Close to the airport and many other things. I don't recommend trust in parking in the property. it is very small and very hard to go down to park. you are lucky if you don't hit the walls. I recommend a public parking nearby for same price.

Very nice hotel, great amenities, very good breakfast, good location, metro just across the street so downtown main tourist area is 15 min. away. A big plus for visitors.

Enjoyed Our Stay at Sana Reno - Not Parking Garage

Our stay at Sana Reno Hotel was nice & quite comfortable overall. The service is good, the rooms are nice & clean & comfortable, and the air conditioning works just fine. The breakfast was also very good with a wide variety to choose from to make for a good start to your day. The hotel is conveniently located on a quiet street in what appears to be a good, safe & very walkable location. It is convenient to the airport. Our only complaint has to do with their parking garage that is really only good for micro-mini type vehicles. The lady at the reception desk did warn us that it was \"tight,\" but I think I would have described it as almost impossible to get into. We drove our very small Toyota rental car into the garage the first night & it was a very stressful nightmare. We weren't sure if we would be able to get it back out. Drove around & around to find parking on the street after the first night because we vowed to never drive back down into the sardine can. If you know the Austin Powers movies, google \"Austin Powers gets stuck for one hour.\" It was like that. Not kidding.

All the people at the reception were excellent and welcoming. A special thanks goes out to the manager, Mariana, who was extremely helpful during our stay. The breakfast had a lot of variety, especially different types of VERY fresh bread, and the fruit was simply divine--- fresh and tasty. Also, we found their beds very comfortable. As far as the location, you could not ask for a better location. We highly recommend this little treasure of a hotel. Actually, we all thought this hotel deserved four stars.

A very nice hotel in a residential neighborhood with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and a grocery store right on the same block. Perfect for relaxing after a day of sight seeing. And it it easy to get anyway - the ladt stop of the red line is right outside the door - so very easy access to and from the airport and also to any other metro lines. Buses in the area, too. Delicious breakfast, and a nice rooftop pool. Highly reccimend.

The location next to the metro allowed quick, easy travel to the city centre and main areas. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. The swimming pool and terrace on the rooftop provided a relaxing end to a busy day and rested our tired legs. Fully recommend this place.

Location is excellent, metro to the airport just outside the hotel and easy enough to get to other parts of Lisbon from here.
Hotel was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was very comfortable and the shower had great pressure. Also the pool was great in the evening to cool off after a day of sightseeing.
Breakfast was alright, had everything you want but nothing too exciting.
Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

Very few room amenities. Hand soap at the sink and body soap in the tub. No face soap or lotion. No kettle in the room. The room was very tiny. Check in was fast and efficient. Breakfast was standard hotel food. I will stay here again if I have no other choice, but won't go out of my way to stay here. No reason to recommend this hotel to friends or family. A very forgettable experience.

We stayed in Porto first, then Tomar afterwards. The staff in the hotels at the other locations were lovely & so helpful. At SANA, everyone seemed unhappy & not helpful. The bed & pillows were also uncomfortable! The pool was the saving grace!

The bedroom was small with a very small window, so not much light, but then you are not in the room that much. Bed was very big and comfy.
Having a pool and sauna was really nice, the jacuzzi part was not that good. Not every jet worked and not very powerful.
Breakfast was not brilliant, very small selection, quite uninspiring.
Location is good for transport and staff very helpful.

The suite was perfect for our needs. The bathroom was a little small, and the tub/shower made a wet mess but a shower towel helped keep the water contained. The property was literally right across the street from the Metro lines which runs to the airport. Wish I knew that before booking a car service. The pool and sauna were nice. The breakfast menu did not change so it got old eating the same thing everyday, and there wasn’t much for people with dietary restrictions. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again. The location was so convenient and the staff excellent.

This property was just fine. It was out of the city Center but there was a metro station right across the road and that made it fairly easy to get around. You are right on the airport flight path so you could hear planes going over head but it was quite between midnight and 5:30 am. We weren’t really too bothered by that. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. It was fine but didn’t really get changed up much and there were no condiments like pancake syrup, mustard or ketchup. To be fair, that seems to be common to Portugal and not just this hotel. (We stayed at 3 different ones). I was expecting a bigger pool based on the pictures I saw online. It was certainly nice to have one, but expect it to feel crowded if there are more than 6 people in there at once. Luckily it wasn’t used very much when we wanted to use it. The other issue that I hope the hotel addresses sometime is the lack of power outlets in the room. There were only 2 so it made it a scheduling chore to get all of our electronics and watches charged up at night. It made us sure appreciate when hotels have lamps with USB plugs. The rooms were clean and well cared. There were also some good restaurants in the area that we found with Google maps. So for us, this wasn’t a bad hotel but another time we might consider something else. Old City centre might be nice but then you pay for that in the price of the hotel room.

We loved the location! Close to Lovely park leading to Atlantic’s ocean and subway rides to downtown and airport. The staff is confused and entered our room accessing our safe and breaching our privacy. Big NO! Very disappointed in staff service level. The only staff that was brilliant was cleaning staff! This hotel was relatively expensive but cuts every corner you can think of. Our room was a little warm so we tried to turn the AC down a few degrees but the panel was locked and said it was “centrally controlled.” In the middle of the night it got even hotter and there was no way to turn the AC up, they were doing this on their end to save money. The poolside drinks were very over priced and tasted terrible, like the “free” ones you get on a $20 “all-you-can-drink” rum cruise in Mexico… Those were just the highlights of the lowlights and indicative of the overall flavor of the place. The staff was pleasant and it was literally right across the street from the blue and red metro line station so that was a positive but the corner cutting really dented the overall experience, especially everyone waking up in a 4 star hotel in the middle of the night drenched in sweat because they gradually let the temperature go up to save money.

The front desk card readers were declining 2 cards 7 times and both of my accounts were charged.. my friend had the same issue with another Sana hotel. Please FIX your terminals. It shouldn't give you declined receipt if funds are going through. This is simply not acceptable

Great hotel with rooftop pool in a quiet area

Really enjoyed this quiet hotel with a rooftop pool in a quieter area of Lisbon. The entrance to the subway lines are right across from the hotel, so easy to get around. Front desk staff were very helpful and they had hand sanitizer placed next to the elevator on every floor to keep “clean” in these COVID times. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at the hotel for a week and was not disappointed. Excellent position for travel within the area be it by Metro, bus services or walking. Hotel was clean and quiet with no noticable traffic noise (our room was front facing overlooking the street) Roof top pool was clean and very popular during our stay. We only had booked breakfast but what was offered was very good and plentiful setting you up nicely for the day. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Had our Easter 2022 break here. We know the area well, so can recommend for that alone, close to some good local restaurants and shopping and not too far from tourist areas.

Staff good, breakfast really nice, pool and sauna really good too.

Only complaints are the incredibly slow lift and it’s too loud! We could hear the cistern flow from the room next to us, people talking through the walls.

Was charged €5 for a kettle which I don’t understand why this seems to be a common trend of late but, was one of the cheaper “kettle rents” I’ve had to pay.

Overall good hotel, not one I’d recommend but if you’ve limited options then it’s a safe bet.

Beware of your belongings

This was the last stop of our honeymoon trip and we couldn't have left more disappointed. The last day of our stay my wife's ring got missing from the room as she took it off and left it on the desk before the shower and forgot to put it back on afterwards. We left the room to do some shopping and when we came back the ring wasn't there. We searched the room like crazy and couln't find it. When we first reported it, they suggested the she probably lost it elsewhere but they would ask the staff anyways. As we had an early flight the next day we wanted to fill in a formal complain when we checked out but the front desk guy suggested that we waited until they seached the room the next day and they would send us an email and if anything we could fill the complain online. We in good heart decided to wait. Next day they sent us an email informing that they couldn't find the ring and we asked for the link to fill the complain and they tried to trick us by sending a survey instead the actual complaint book that we found later on in their website.

Very sad that they take such a serious issue so lightly, blame the guest and then try to deceive them by trying to trick them into not complaining formally. Worst experience ever!

Terrible a kind of Traumatic Stay

My stay completely terrible! I will never stay any SANA hotels again. No internet, dirty, noisy, no air-condition (your room temperature controlled by reception and you have to call a few times, so hot and humidly room. I missed lots of meeting because Wi-Fi has no internet connection. Room is too small and dark no sunlight. İt was traumatic stay. and Hotels.com and SANA Group did not help me.

Very good location close to subway lines and shopping but just far enough removed from central core to avoid noise and congestion.
Very clean and quiet. Good air conditioning and super water pressure for invirgorating showers. Pool is smallish but good enough .
Should really be 4 star - only reason its is not is that it has no restaurant (although breakfast room and buffet are excellent).

A clean, comfortable and affordable stay. A 40 minute walk into the main part of the city, which we didn’t mind. Easy enough to get transport. Nice and quiet at night, although close to the airport, you can’t hear planes. Friendly staff and nice breakfast.

The only bad thing was no the hotels fault but at the pool another guest had his music on far too loud and this is coming from someone who loves loud music, there was no staff around to ask to turn it down as we did not want a confrontation.

Sana Reno is a lovely hotel in a good location in Lisbon. It has a very nice swimming pool on the roof and the hotel is right next to a metro station. I was leaving very early before breakfast time but the staff organised a packed breakfast for me to take with me. I would definitely stay here again

Our second time at this hotel. Great breakfast - most fruit in fruit salad was canned. Stsyed in room 805, which is next door to sauna and nearly broiled in our sleep 😆. Nice pool - didn't use it, though. All in all, a great stay. Definitely our go-to in Lisbon. Many cultural options nearby as well as El Corte Ingles and movie theaters.

Great location right next to the Sao Sebastiao Metro stop and a short walk from the Gulbenkian Museum and El Corte Ingles department store.
The only negative is that there was no coffee maker in the room. That would have been perfect.
Other than that, location and room as well as breakfast and wi-fi were terrific!

The picture that you see when you book the room is not the room that you will get. The photo shows a balcony with chairs and table inside and outside. There are only 3 rooms in the hotel with these items. The photo is a LIE and when I asked about this all I received was excuses that I should know this. They are well aware that they are misrepresenting themselves. I will never use one of their hotels again.
You could also hear all the street noices, even conversations from the street and hallways.
