Good location right next to a subway line. It is outside of the city center with upscale shops and restaurants, but is still fairly convenient if you take the subway or an Uber. They do not offer laundry service however. Rooms are basic but clean with functional A/C and wifi.

Hotel Sete Colinas is right next to Anjos subway station which is only three stops from Rossio - excellent and fast transportation without being directly in the busiest part of the city. For that, an excellent location and convenient. Hotel itself is a boutique style and very, lovely from the second you enter - breakfast serves hot food as well. Beware that this is Europe and close to the Moorish District so the rooms are small! But, very very clean and stylish - you just have to compromise on space so this is really a great place for a one or two day stay in the city. If longer, I would likely not choose this because space would be a necessity. Overall, very pleased with this hotel and would definitely recommend!

The hotel was pristine! The staff was very kind and polite. The location is conveniently RIGHT NEXT TO a subway entrance in the middle of Lisbon. Free breakfast was included and yummy.

As Americans, we weren’t used to smoking at outdoor dining still being allowed which was discouraged us from eating outside and there was noisy construction at a building right next to our hotel the last 2 days we were there which was kind of annoying but of coursecit stopped in the afternoon.

The ac is also not as strong as it is in the US which made the room uncomfortable waiting for the ac to cool up.

Despite this complaining, I have stayed at worse places and the staff and cleaninless are very redeeming qualities of this establishment.

We had a great stay. The hotel is right outside the metro which made it very convenien. It’s located on a main boulevard so there are many good eats, markets and pharmacies. It’s also easy access to trams and and 20 mins walk to city center. The breakfast was plenty and delicious. Eggs, mushrooms and sausage cooked to perfection, fruits and pastries. Room was clean and spacious for a couple. We were on the 5th floor, facing blvd and didn’t hear much noise, you do feel the vibrations of metro passing by, but only hear it if I’m awake, it never woke me up.

The room was much smaller than we expected, and to add to the disappointment, the hair shampoo was empty upon arrival. Overall, the service is great, but the facilities could use some improvement.

It’s clean, comfortable and in a good location right beside Anjos metro.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast is very good. It’s on a nice tree lined avenue that can be quite busy but I had no noise issues from it. That said, my room was at the back. Nor did I hear anything from neighbouring rooms.
I enjoyed my stay, ideal for a city break and I am happy to recommend.

I asked the front desk to order a taxi to the airport upon leaving, and it turned out to be under half the price that I received a quote for from a taxi provider by email (30 euros) at 12.80 - I gave the driver 15 euros. As I had to leave early, front desk provided breakfast-to-go in a box. All staff extremely friendly and helpful.

It was a lovely hotel, clean, friendly staff and comfortable. The breakfast is a typical continental, pastries, lomited selection of cereal, toast, cold meat and cheese, but it was tasty enough. The location, with a metro station on the doorstep was perfect, especially as I was keen to explore the city and it was an easy journey to abd from the airport. However, there is a few rough sleepers in some of the doorways of surrounding buildings, but harmless enough, so don't let that put you off. If the internet is important to you, my room as on the 3rd floor and signal wasn't the best, but I was using the hotel to put my head down after busy day's exploring, it didnt really bother me. All in all, a good 2 star place to stay!!!

Hotel Sete Colinas was perfect for us. For us, we wanted clean and safe knowing that most of our time would be spent exploring Lisbon and Portugal. The room was clean and came with a balcony which was unexpected. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served every morning and was a good start to the day. While this hotel is not in the middle of the typical tourist area, the metro stop is literally right outside and a quick 5-10 minute ride to the touristy areas. It also made getting from the airport easy and cheap (1.50 per person). Plus, the #1 seafood restaurant in Lisbon is a 5 minute walk, and we discovered the best little tavern & tapas place around the corner with the loveliest owners (Sinhora dos Anjos) so it was a nice break from the louder more touristy areas. Obrigada to Hotel Sete Colinas!

This hotel was very good for the price. Ideal for Metro - exit from the station, walk 2 steps and it's right there. The station is the second stop from Rossio, so it takes no time at all to get into the heart of the city. The breakfast is as you would expect for a hotel of this star rating - lots of overly sweet, pre-packaged pastries - but there are also yogurts, a small selection of cereals, meat and cheese; as well as bread and coffee. The water in the shower wasn't always hot, but the hotel was very clean and the room nice. However, the biggest plus for me besides the location was the service - the reception staff are lovely. So friendly, and happy to help out with ideas and ask how your day went. This is nice when you are travelling alone. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

If you need a budget-friendly place to stay in Lisbon that is near a metro stop, this hotel is ok.

There is a metro stop (Anjos) about 15 feet from the entrance to the hotel...so that was convenient. However, in our room on the third floor, the train sounded and felt like thunder when it was running (it ran until at least 2am and started back up around 6am). While I definitely felt safe in the neighborhood, there are nicer parts of the city you could stay in that would be similarly priced. We weren’t able to stay for the breakfast buffet (starts at 8am on Saturday and we had to be at the airport early); but it was a plus that it was included in the rate.

The hotel is ok if you have to stay there. Breakfast is terrible. Struggled to try to get the phone in the room to work. When I finally could get it going it dropped 2 or 3 calls. I had to activate my own phone that cost me 15 dollars per day. Manager put up a huge fight with me to get 2-3 euros of charges dropped. She eventually admitted that the phones are basically deactivated because other people weren't paying the bills and then the staff were responsible for those charges! Save yourself and stay out of Lisbon especially at night. During the day it is OK but at night and in the clubs its filled with thieves and low life. Because I had to carry my phone with me it I got taken at a club. Thanks a lot hotel Sete Colinas!

What worried me when we booked this hotel, were the two stars, usually those mean that you should not expect much out of a hotel. But in this case I couldn't help but wonder why the hotel does not have three stars in its name. The rooms are clean, staff is very friendly, breakfasts are very nice, the location was perfect and the wifi - even though running an outdated WEP - was swift and worked like a charm. If I ever come back to Lisbon, I'm staying here again.

Good value & practical place to stay

We chose this hotel for its price and proximity to the city centre. Would recommend it to people who want somewhere convenient (15 minute walk to Rossio Station; Anjos Metro stop right outside; tram 28 is 5 minutes away) and good value (the deal we had, had the very much welcomed breakfast included). The road the hotel is on doesn't make for the nicest of walks in to the city.
Wifi throughout was mostly ok.

i only stayed in lisbon for one night. I arrived in lisbon by overnight train at 0800 and the staff were kind enough to allow me to leave my luggage there. They provided me with a map and directions to some of the nights. The free breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were clean. I also appreciated that it was directly adjacent to a metro station. The hotel isn't in the best location as far as some shady characters in the area, but other than that, a wonderful stay.

Hotel in a very good location with metro stop right outside. Some traffic noise if your room is on the street so you might want to ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Room very clean. Wifi fast and reliable and good aircon in the room. Not the largest hotel room we've ever stayed in but for value and location it would be hard to beat. Breakfast was good choice of cold meat, pastries, breads, yoghurt and fruit. No complaints and would stay here again.

The staff who worked at night could not speak or understand English and could not help us. Overall speaking, the hotel service can be improved by hiring staffs who can speak English.

A Practical Pleasant Place

Let me start with the bottom line - we've been here for 9 nights and yes we would gladly stay here again. This is a small traditional European style hotel with 31 rooms. It is clean, friendly, cozy, efficient, safe and cost effective. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are small by American standards but they are clean and everything works including an in-room safe. A European style breakfast is included. Wi-Fi is free and fast - 10.3 Mbps up and 3.5 Mbps down and that many time faster than pathetic speeds I find in American chains that charge extra for Wi-Fi and provide nothing for the extra money. This is not a turn down service and chocolate bonbons on your pillow hotel. What you save on the nightly cost of the room will provide you with extra cash to use on sampling the many traditional foods and wines at the many restaurants in this neighborhood. The hotel is located across the street from the Museu do Banco de Portugal (i.e.Portuguese Treasury Museum) which results in a substantial police presence on the streets surrounding the building. The Anjos metro stop is outside the from door and local buses provide easy access to almost any tourist, cultural or food site you want to go to as well as Airport, train and bus stations. The hotel staff speak many languages and are very friendly and helpful. It is a practical pleasant place to stay and discover Lisbon and Portugal.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a very pleasant stay in Lisbon. The hotel is conveniently situated right by the Anjos metro entrance. The room we had was a special offer and was good value. We took that one as we knew we would not be in it that much. It was relatively small, but perfectly adequate for us. It was very clean and cleaned daily with fresh towels even thogh we were happy to reuse them. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We'd stay again if we went back to Lisbon.

Using as a base to sleep very close to the center of town, this is a great place. Breakfast has a fair selection even if the dinning room is a little cramped.
Staff where very helpful & polite and English spoken to a high level.
Rooms facing the street can be a little noisy at night if window is left open, but is fine once closed. Room and bathroom nice and clean, spacious enough for two people.

Overall I would recommend this hotel for those who will spend most of the day out. Good location, clean, polite/helpful staff and value for money.

Absolutely great experience - room was decent size, very clean and secure, all hotel staff were really helpful and friendly, good breakfast selection and right by the metro. Would definitely recommend.

highly recommended!!!

Loved my stay at Sete Colinas. I had no problems with check-in and my room, even though small, was clean and comfortable. The wifi was good and the breakfast had a good selection of items. Will definitely stay there again if I ever find myself in Lisbon.

Quarto e banheiro limpíssimos, tamanho ótimo, super confortável, perto do centro, conseguimos ir caminhando e tem opções de metrô também.
Staff muito cordial e educados, nos ajudaram com o jantar, pois acabamos chegando tarde.
Café da manhã muito gostoso e farto.
Recomendo e voltaria outras vezes

Ottima posizione, metro sotto l’hotel, stanze pulite, dotata di tutti i comfort. Unica pecca la colazione, i pastel de nata non venivano riforniti quando finivano, nessuno vigilava la sala, macchinetta del caffè spesso non ricaricata
