I want a refund. This places was terrible. There is no staff to help you in and find your room. My friend and I were let into the building by a guy with a key from the next door store and put in an elevator with no directions. The building was very dark and old. We were very scared during this experience and immediately booked a real hotel down the road.

Totally acceptable. The check in not being untill 4pm was a little annoying but it was properly advertised so I can't complain too much. The outside building doesn't leave much to admire, but the room was relatively clean, bed was pretty comfy and the AC worked great. Perfectly fine place to stay with a decent location and a great price. Would recommend overall.

Bare minimum

Our flight was delayed and we tried to communicate with the hotel several times with no response from them. I sent at least 3 differents messages 72hours before to ask questions and then to communicate our flight problems but no response. It added an unnecessary stress to our trip.
Room was ok, but walls and terrace were a little bit dirty. We had access to a kitchen but it was the bare minimum. We searched for mug to have our coffee but there was none. Other guests took the only mug to their room but one mug for several rooms that are sharing one kitchen is obviously not enough...

On the plus side : Cheap and next to Metro station.

For travellers on a budget just looking for a place to sleep, this is a great option if you don’t care about minor cosmetic defects (scuffed paint, older building etc). It was a clean room with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Not advised for travellers with mobility issues however as the elevator wasn’t always working. There is some noise heard from other units, but that is not unexpected in a hostel type of accommodation. My main concern was that the guesthouse was not reachable in advance to answer questions by phone or email, and did not open the front door when I buzzed. I had to get let into the building by another guest, but once I got into the building they were friendly and the check in was easy.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was great to have access to kettle and microwave. There were cups, plates etc to use.
The check in was confusing. No instructions sent on how to get in through the main door. Main door was locked. Reception on 3rd floor so they had no idea we were there trying to access the property. Got in because one of the tenants came out through the front door and let us in.

Not a very good experience. No amenities. No soap or shampoo. No glasses in room. AC did not work. No towel service and no garbage pickup.. 4 day stay.

The room we had the shower would overflow!

Area was noisy! Constant traffic. Sirens. Baby’s crying… doors banging.

No lights in stairwells… very dangerous ! And the elevator was rickety! Avoid using for fear of getting stuck!

Very negative unappealing stay.. do not recommend.. Avoid!

The door was open by 3 but the building is very uninviting, dingy small elevator that looks like it has never been washed. The room was ok but no frills not even a glass in the bathroom. There was a kitchen that we did not use other than for a glass and a spoon.
The room was right beside the office so noise from there and lots of street noise. The day we arrived it was hot and our room was very hot that night for sleeping. They said they had called to have it fixed. A disappointing stay.
The staff seemed friendly enough and did help get the tv going.

The room is not big but enough for sleeping and storage. The bathroom is clean and spacious which is good. There is a shared kitchen with minimal equipment so basic cooking can be done. Call the staff or arrive at the property after 12 because there is no one before that. The staff is friendly and nice. Close to supermarket and laundry. Acceptable choice for budget travellers.

You get a “guest room” with bathroom and some kind of a shared kitchen.

Its very overpriced. €25 more and you could stay at Holiday Inn. Problem with payment forced us to choose LX Center, just for a night.

The property was clean and even included a fridge and a safe. The building is a bit old and felt dodgy but it was all fine. It is in a decent location, around 15 minutes walk from Rossio and with good metro and tram connections (famous tram 28 early stop is 2 minutes away). Generally very pleased for the price.

The location is central and has a store right downstairs so that was great, I enjoyed having a balcony too. The kitchen wasn't stoked well and that could be an easy fix, since is shared by 4 rooms please provide more cups, glasses, silverweare etc.

Property condition was awful , bed sheets looked unwashed flooring was loose, safe was loose on a board in a wardrobe, lift unusable, seriously unsafe electric connectors, no room cleaning for a 4 night stay. No way of contacting host except through Expedia, seriously unsafe lighting in bathroom , non existent lighting in the hall way on the stairwells. Shared kitchen had 1 coffee cup and 3 plates. So very limited cooking. Definitely at most 1-2 star rating.

Property was clean and in a good location. However even though the website states \"Storage area for luggage\" this was not available either before or after my check in which caused a lot of issues. I was told the hostel never allow this as their rule. I have never had this policy before and especially disappointing given it says it is possible on the website.

It's very good value for money. No frills basic clean accommodation. It's near to Lidl, the metro and the 28 tram so for budget accommodation it's an excellent choice. It's in a multicultural part of the city and the locals are very friendly and you will be amongst people from all over the world.

For the one night that we had to stay in Lisbon, it was a good deal. Clean and simple. Not a five star hotel but satisfying enough. I would recommend it to anyone who just need clean accommodation aspeacealy for a short stay. The rates are great too.

Whatever you do! Do not book here. No one’s available to talk to. The place looks very shady. You cannot use the elevator because it’s old. A resident came out with anger cause we trying to knock at the receptionist on the third floor. We did not feel safe n left the place. Expedia asked for a refund but they refused to give. We are very upset for not getting refunded. Please pay a tad extra but don’t stay here

No recomiendo este hotel, es un edificio muy viejo y en mal estado en general; el ascensor es muy viejo y corres el riesgo de quedar atascado a cualquier momento; el baño tiene moho en la ducha y las sabanas y to hallas dan asco, están manchadas y huelen mal, la puerta de entrada al edificio no funciona la cerradura ósea cualquiera puede entrar sin problema, es muy inseguro para los clientes que estamos ahi dentro. Fue una pésima elección de hotel que he hecho en mi vida.

Sooooo, I would only stay here if it’s my last resort. Having private bathroom for $60US was a good deal but there’s a very loud bar right below so it was pretty hard to go to sleep early. Also it was an urgent booking so didn’t know this place was part of a residential building. Had hard time trying to figure out check in.. the first floor you enter is actually level 0, and the office is located at 3rd level, which is in real life, 4th floor. Very dark building, bed was clean with no bed bugs but overall kinda old. I had to leave early in the morning so I legitimately just needed a bed and shower so it did the job at cheap price, but I would find something else if I had to stay longer.

Really old town house, no soundproofing, but close to the central area by walking distance. Easy to find; less then 5 mins walk to Lidl (supermarket); around 10 mins walk to local restaurant.

Oh yeah they didn’t respond how to turn on the television with the satellite box; no one would like to help.

Staff were really less-responsive, almost 1 day to response. You also needed to wait their check-in time - means 4pm to 10pm - to request hairdryer if you forgot to ask them at the first glance. They even rejected to leave it in your room door.

As for the cleannesses, paid how much to get how clean :) but still can walk around by barefoot. They would ask you if needed to have cleaning per 2 days around 1-5pm. Normally they were late and knocked you door in sudden. That’s it.

From check-in, to the falling-in-piece bathroom... even the taxi this property arranged for us was disgusting: driver requested more money than the amount we agreed on when booking the taxi, and he left us in arrivals instead of departures.

I booked through Expedia and there was no mention the office was on the 3rd floor. If I didn’t have internet during my travels I would never have figured it out. Check in hours are very limited! Not all lights were working so it was dark up the stairs. Complicated keys for every entrance. Uneven flooring in common and room areas including bathroom. We could not leave luggage after checkout. This is something that most hotels offer after checkout. No maid service at all, so no clean towels. Room was pretty dirty, dusty, and bath tub was very dirty. The room above us had jumping dogs for hours on end. Expedia needs to change their description.

For me the place has two cons, the common zones are old I mean really old, but overall is the noise is a cheap place for party people, a group of girls came completely drunk and were making huge noise at 2.30am making impossible to sleep.

The lock to one of the doors was broken. It took 20 minutes to unlock the door with the key given, but it was too late at night to call for help.

Apart from the lock, the property itself was clean and similar to pictures online. The staff was friendly, and we got what we paid for.

This property was ok. The room was clean and staff were very nice and helpful. They ordered us a shuttle to the airport without issue. They also printed off a map for us until we were able to get a better detailed one. There is a fridge which was great as a grocery store is literally 1 minute away.
The only downside was the washroom. The shower was quite dirty and moldy. It definitely needs a good scrubbing. Wear flip flops in the shower just in case.

Great value a short walk from the centre

From the outside the building doesn’t look much but the rooms are newly refurbished and while small are excellent value for a short stay. There’s a great cafe across the road called the Cotton Club for a cheap tasty breakfast with friendly staff.

I would avoid booking this hotel! It is located in a sketchy neighborhood. Aside from that it is in an apartment complex of where other residents live. the buzzer that says reception doesnt work because no one opens the door so you have to wait for someone to leave the building so you can get it. There are no signs indicating where reception is. We spent an hour going up and down the stairs knocking on the doors that had the name of the hotel on it, we called the phone numbers listed and no one answered. Finally an hour later someone opened the door and claimed no calls came through. When we got our room, the window shades didnt close, the door wouldnt latch well so the cold came in and there was no heater in the room. Aside from that the wall were very thin and you could hear what was happening in the next rooms and every flush that happened in the building. We ended up leaving the room. Our stay in Lisboa started off really rough. However, it was really nice of the neighbors and the local business owners to try and help us.

Diffucult to locate. If u have a vehicle diffucult to find parking and MUST feed the metre.
Much more like a hostel than a hotel but with a private bath. Room was very clean and modern. Reception staff was friendly and accomodating.

We booked this guesthouse for our last night before we returned home. Based on the reviews we didn’t expect anything fancy, however this guesthouse was far less than that.

While they did advise how to enter the building, it is not very inviting. You have to buzz up and then take a sketchy elevator to the third floor. There someone gives you a 3 keys for all the doors.

They put us in a room right on the kitchen so we heard everyone moving around all day/night. They provide a safe but it’s about 3 pounds and not attached to anything so if someone wanted it they could just walk off with it.

Our window also led to the patio/smoking area. So there was no way we would be opening up the blinds/window.

The room itself felt more like a hostel than anything. It barely fit the bed and the walls were covered in scuff marks. The tv was awkwardly placed so you could barely watch it.

The shower ran out of hot water pretty much the second we jumped in. The door filled with water and it just felt gross. The removable shower head was broken and sprayed everywhere

The worst part was the bed. It was made but there was hair everywhere. It did not feel clean.

The staff were friendly and maybe we just got a bad room at a bad time but if you are a couple traveling and looking for comfort I can’t recommend this place. It’s definitely suited for the backpackers just needing a place to crash.

Lx Center Guesthouse is a small hotel, basically made of a bunch of apartments in an apartment building. Close to Graca/Baixa/Alfame areas, big plus. The room and bathroom were clean and of reasonable size for such type of accommodation but the room lacked a desk and any closet. Elevator broke in the middle of my 1 week stay and was not fixed before I departed. WiFi did not work for the last three days of my stay. Overall, perhaps OK for the price but will not rate it as a great value for money.

Personel was very helpful and nice, helped us to provide any commodities we needed like, an ironing board.

Hotel is near to the late night shops and one of the main streets of Lisbon with both metro connection and tram 28 station.

Quarto de acordo com o valor pago, o problema é que elevador não funcionava e não foi oferecida nenhuma ajuda para subir com a mala ao 3º andar, nem foi dada orientação previa sobre o defeito no elevador. Também, com relação à taxa municipal, a equipe poderia ter trocado, mas não tinha e eu acabei ficando com um euro a menos. Por fim, na saída, tive dificuldade de abrir a porta do meu quarto e por isso consegui sair pela janela e abrir a porta pelo lado de fora para tirar minhas malas.

Guesthouse bem localizada e com ótimo custo benefício, mas o bairro em sí e os vizinhos são um pouco barrulhentos até a meia noite e o isolamento acústico do prédio também é ruim. Cozinha compartilhada funcional, microondas, geladeira, água quente, etc. Roupas de cama limpas, quarto bem arejado com sacada!

Le point positif de l’appartement est sa localisation.il est situé à 200 mètres de la station du métro. Cela permet de se rendre dans les quartiers principaux en quelques minutes. Nous sommes dans un quartier pavillonnaire vécu une forte communauté Bangladesh,indienne et nepalaise. Il y’a pour info un supermarché Lidl à 100 mètres.

Check in. La sonnette ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons profité de la sortie d’un occupant pour rentrer dans l’immeuble. Arrivée au 3 eme etage, toujours pas de nouvelles du proprio. J’ai dû taper fort sur la porte pour qu’il ouvre enfin la
Porte. Accueil simpliste. Il nous demande les passeports, grifonne quelques données sur un papier et nous demande de payer les taxes de séjour puis nous
Remet les clefs. Nous étions au 2 eme etage. L’appartement n’est pas propre. Le ménage n’est pas fait. Les murs doivent être rafraîchis.
Heureusement qu’il y’avait la télé et un mini frigo.il y’a 4 chambres au sein de l’appartement avec une cuisine
Commune que nous
N’avons pas essayé car elle n’était pas propre et il manquait l’essentiel ( pas d’assiettes, verre en plastiques et quelques couvert). Avions réservé pour 4 nuits.
Je conseille aux familles de réserver ailleurs même si le budget sera plus élevé.

Bom, mas necessita melhorias

O prédio e elevador do hotel são mais velhos. Mas o quarto era bom, tinha espaço e estava tudo limpo para nos receber! Porém, acho que o banheiro poderia ser mais adaptado e atualizado. A experiência com o check in foi frustrante, pois eu precisava chegar pela manhã na cidade, não conseguiram me receber mais cedo e o check in era só 16h, tivemos que deixar as malas no aeroporto, foi um transtorno e gasto a mais.

A troca de toalhas de banho e limpeza do quarto, banheiro só apos 3 dias e os lencois no.4 dia.Não há toalha de rostos.Uma unica chave para 3 adultos.Minha sobrinha saiu a noite e as duas idosas ficaram trancadas no.quarto.Um perigo se ocorre incêndio

Also die unterkunft ist ein reinstes disaster. Alles total alt, die wânde im badezimmer sind bereits verschimmelt. Es wird für kein toilettenpapiere wâhrend der Unterkunftszeit gesorgt, keine reinigung. Aufzug sehr alt, unsicher. İm gang hat uns am ersten Tag urin empfangen. Sehr eckelig alles in allem. Preis leistung nicht in ordnung. Keine rezeption vorhanden. Waren um 13 uhr im guesthouse. Konnten bis 16 uhr nicht einchecken. Telefonisch keiner erreichbar, über expedia keine reaktion auf den support. Nie wieder und nicht zum empfehlen. Sehr laut, gestank nicht auszuhalten.

Host kijkt de hele nacht luid tiktok en belt heel hard. Buzzer gaat de hele nacht af. Prullenbakken worden niet geleegd.
Keuken en badkamer zijn goed. Ligging is prima.

La habitación era básica y estaba limpia, las camas cómodas pero con un cojín algo pequeño, el edificio una pena, el olor en la escalera y el ascensor viejo con un cartel que decía que no te recomendaban cogerlo. La atención el en el cheking inexistente, solo te decía que si no te ibas antes de las 12 te multarian, 4 noches y 5 días sin cambio de toallas ni sábanas. Barrio multicultural, con una parada de metro muy cerca y un supermercado en la esquina.

Seul bémol, l’ascenseur ne fonctionnais pas, dommage pour ceux qui ont des handicaps

We booked the same morning as arrival. We called 5 times and I wrote on Hotels.com nothing back.
Old building with 2 small elevators and this is a big apartment divided in to 4 small rooms and a small entrance. So its very noisy, we even know when other rooms are showering. Bed clothes on both beds looked fresh but some stains on it.
So the rooms for the price are high for the quality and service we get.

I liked that the apartment is close to a metro station (Intendente), so it was easy for us to ecplore the city via the subway.

La propiedad es un edificio antiguo donde el elevador no funciona...las escaleras para subir al tercer piso no tenia luz...la recepcion es una penuria tienes que tener suerte para que te abran la puerta del edificio...la zona no es buena..
