El Hotel tiene diferentes edificios. Cuando llegué me dijeron que mi habitación estaba al frente cruzando la calle y q la habitación estaba en el 3er piso, después que no tenía ascensor, y en realidad era el 4° piso porque cuentan desde el 0. Es un edificio antiguo remodelado y bonito, pero incómodo para subir y bajar maletas y no hay personas que ayuden. Al salir es difícil porque muchas personas se sientan en escalinata

Black mold, stay away!

Obvious black mold in the bathroom. The floors in the room had some sort of cheap flooring put over a subfloor that was failing, walking on it was spongy. The furniture was old and kind of crumbly.

Great stay in a clean and comfortable hotel

Very nice and clean accommodations with access to tourist areas. Good wifi and heating. A few minutes walk from metro station. Great daily housekeeping service, and reception is 24 hours. All staff were very kind and helpful. A pleasure. Neighborhood is nothing to rave about but at least it is easy to get out of.

The layout of the room I was assigned left me with not enough room for my luggage to unpack. The bathroom sink faucet made it difficult to brush your teeth especially without a glass or a cup for the water.
Also, I asked one of the receptionist for assistance— where to eat or the like; he couldn’t suggest specifics and just told me to walk on the main street and find one.

The staff were lovely and really helpful, but the room was a bit tired (suitcase marks all over the walls, sheets weren't particularly clean). There was also no hairdryer in the room (had to request it) and no tea or coffee facilities, with no glasses for water.

Room that we booked isnt as shown in expedia at all, it is WAY smaller. We barely have enough room to walk around and place our toiletries. Room also has a bad odour from sink, dusty floor, shower leaks out from base, towels are stained. Our room is at the main floor first room, we hear EVERYTHING and it is very annoying at late night and early morning. But all the staffs are just awesome and very helpful.

Nice rooms not far from the old town

I really liked the LX History Rooms. They're located about 30 mins walk from the old town of Lisbon so a little out of the way but it was an easy stroll into town.
The room we had was small but clean and everything worked. The beds were made every day and there's a small shared kitchen area if you don't want to go out for meals.

Everything was new and clean and the hotel is in a great location. I had a room with bunk beds. It was very small but ample since you're exploring the city most of the time. There are a lot of stairs so don't stay here if you need an elevator. I didn't use the common kitchen. The hotel was close to the Indente metro stop or a 15 minute walk to the main square. I would stay here again.

This hotel is very conveniently located (2 min. walk to Intendente subway station and 4 min. walk to 28E tram). Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a voucher for a bakery next door, frequented by locals. Choices are varied and the pastries are good. The staff was really helpful (I needed medical attention and they were able to guide me to a doctor). The hotel is in a working class neighborhood, but there are no dangers as others have mentionned. I would stay there again.

hotel is clean and basic, advertises saying there’s coffee/tea maker but really just a common kitchen area downstairs like a hotel. The breakfast is served in a cafe around the corner, and food was just so so. The local area was a bit scary to walk around at night, and we would not stay here again.

My LX History

Staff very friendly and helpfull, no kettle in the room, the kitchen is on the ground floor so not easy is your are on the third floor as there is no lift. If possible request your room on the first floor. And there is no tephone in the room so to contact the receptionist you have to take the stairs down to the ground floor.
Breakfast is free (voucher) and provided outside of the hotel (20m) from a local bar. Don't expect too much no fruit,tomatoes ect.. you have a choice between a coffee and an orange drink; between a sandich and an omelet.
Rooms are large and clean some with balcony and the bathroom well equipped.

Out of the city but only 10-15 minutes walk or jump on metro or tram.... Room was clean and roomy enough.... breakfast was at cafe around the corner and was surprisingly plain but good. If visiting Lisbon for the first time we recommend you jump on a city tour bus first up it helps to see what’s on offer.

We were greated by friendly and accommodating staff upon arrival. The establishment recently opened so tbe rooms were clean and really spunky. I liked it very much. There is no elevator so if your older or have medical issues I would suggest reserving a lower floor because it's a walk up. It's in a neighborhood so you will expect to see locals mixed with tourists including the occasional homeless guy. The 28 trolly line and train are just a few blocks away which is great. The complimentary breakfast is served at a nearby bakery and its pretty good. Try the sweet bread sandwich. It's delish.

Such a great place to stay

First of all the rooms are clean, they are comfortable and in great location. Everything is new, rooms are not very large but they have everything you may need. Aircon is quiet and efficient, bathroom new and clean.
Yes there is no lift but for most people this isn't a problem. You need to know what you're booking and you'll be fine. If you want a room in a genuine and honest place, about 50m from a metro station, with a nice kitchen you can use for reasonable price you should not be looking elsewhere.
My overall experience is great and I will seriously consider next time I will be going to Lisboa.

Good location and potential — but not yet up to standard.

Lisbon City Inn enjoys a convenient location near the city center, with polite staff and visible investment in upgrades. However, the renovation feels unfinished, and several quality issues hold it back from delivering the experience it aims for.

Our room showed promise but suffered from a few serious flaws:
– Excessive LED and fluorescent lights at night make the room almost as bright as a runway, even with blackout curtains.
– The bathroom design is impractical — outward-opening shower doors flood the floor, the sink shelf is unstable, the showerhead is cracked, and the sliding toilet door doesn’t close, compromising privacy.
– The elevator is still being installed, so navigating the narrow staircase with luggage is a challenge.

The room itself is compact yet functional. The property sits beside local social support facilities, which slightly influence the area’s atmosphere, though we personally encountered no problems.

Overall, the team is courteous and the hotel shows potential — but stronger quality control and completion of the refurbishment are still needed to match its ambition.

Los alrededores estaban llenos de indigentes para mujer sola es de considerarlo.

Al momento del check-in me sorprendió que debía realizarse en otro hotel y que había que cruzar la calle para ingresar, algo que nunca fue informado previamente. Tampoco se explicó claramente el funcionamiento de la cerradura de la habitación.

Otro inconveniente es que el edificio no cuenta con ascensor, lo cual hace muy complicado subir con maletas. Si bien el personal de servicio fue muy amable al ayudarme, no existe manera de contactarlos, ya que los teléfonos de las habitaciones no funcionaban.

Estos aspectos afectan considerablemente la experiencia del huésped y considero importante que se corrijan o al menos se informen con anticipación.

É um hostel bem melhorado, bem localizado, com quartos individuais espaçosos e banheiros privativos. Tem uma cozinha onde se pode preparar o café da manhã e refeições. Pontos a melhorar: não há panos para secar a louça, nem toalhas de papel. Encontrei uma barata no quarto. A torneira da pia dos banheiros desperdiça muita água, não tem regulagem de temperatura e molha toda a bancada. O pessoal é simpático, atendem bem e vc se sente a vontade. Considere que não há elevador, portanto terá que subir escadas.

Inconveniente foi uma das noites onde no 3 andar um grupo reservou alguns quartos e ainda foi permitida a visita de alguém que não era hóspede. Isso soube depois de ligar na recepção pois não consegui descer pra informar.
Portas batendo a todo momento transito entre quartos, os hóspedes com a televisão em alto volume e com a porta aberta do quarto, conversa, risadas e gritaria com porta aberta, estavam em festa. Até o alarme de incêndio tocou porque estavam fumando no quarto.
Tive que ligar na recepção mais de uma vez pra que fosse resolvido. Fui dormir as 3 da manhã.
Não tem elevador no hotel.
Há cozinha para uso, mas não há um papel pra secar, limpar ou manusear algo, de lado tinha um rolo de papel higiênico.
O quarto era confortável, banheiro muito bom, espaçoso com dispensers para shampoo e sabonete, toalhas trocadas todos oa dias, boa ducha, roupas de cama limpas e cheirosas.

Lage und Preis-Leistung sind sehr gut. Die U-Bahn Station ist quasi vorm Haus, man ist aber auch zu Fuß rasch in der Altstadt.
Das Zimmer war sehr klein, aber ausreichend. Das Fenster führte direkt auf die Straße, wo sich auch nachts Menschen aufhalten, die Fensterläden hält man daher eher geschlossen. Das Badezimmer war etwas schmudelig, die Fliesen teilweise etwas locker, die Verfugung sollte dringend erneuert werden. Die Tür der Dusche ließ sich nicht vollständig schließen, weshalb man beim Duschen eine kleine Überschwemmung verursacht hat. Zum Badezimmer gibt es nur eine Glastür, diese schließt nicht dicht ab: muss man mögen.
Wir haben einen Blick in ein benachbartes Zimmer geworfen: dort war das Bad sogar direkt im Zimmer, nur mit einer Glaswand getrennt.
Alles in allem für den Preis eine gute Unterkunft.

Unterkunft war sauber, das 3-Bettzimmer hatte eine ideale Grösse.
Nachteil: Das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss lag unmittelbar neben der Gemeinschaftsküche, daher am Morgen und Abend teilweise etwas lärmig.
Zwischen 23.00 und 6.00 Uhr war es meistens ruhig.

Déçue car j'y avais déjà passé 2 nuits l'an dernier et tout était bien. Dernier séjour dans cet hôtel ! chambre malpropre, bruit très fort venant d'une machine du restaurant à côté jusqu'à 1h du matin. Die Unterkunft war zentral gelegen, U Bahn quasi vor der Tür, die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man aber ohnehin zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal war mehr als nur freundlich - wirklich außerordentlich nett!
Die Einrichtung war in einwandfreiem Zustand,man hat gemerkt dass alles noch sehr neu war.

camera da 4 persone abbastanza confortevole per un breve soggiorno, brutto il quartiere, no ascensore (fino a 3 piani), personale gentilissimo, comodo coi mezzi pubblici (metro verde Intendente, tram 28 ed altri autobus)

A localização é ótima, os funcionários muito simpáticos. Bo Wifi. O banheiro e o quarto poderiam ser mais limpos. É um hotel para ficar poucas noite e não gastar muito

Not very clean, the 5 beds apartment was in the basement with its own door. Not so fresh air and it was not cleaned. Otherwise it was walking distance to the city center and friendly staff.

Wenig Ausstattung, leider auch kein Fön. Waschbecken zu klein, nichts zum aufhängen der Handtücher, enges Zimmer ohne Schrank. WC im Zimmer, mit Glastür. Personal sehr nett und bemüht, jederzeit ansprechbar. Klimaanlage im Zimmer war sehr gut. 24h Rezeption. Nette Atmosphäre, aber alles sehr beengt. Mehrere Cafes fürs frühstücken gleich um die Ecke. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist es gut geeignet. Oder für eine Einzelperson.

Hospedagem regular - Localização muito boa , banheiro sem manutenção com defeito no chuveiro e vazamento no teto . Troca de toalhas a cada dois dias .

Camere come da foto, pulizia nella norma, strategicamente buono perché in una via principale e vicino alla metropolitana.. l'unica pecca, pur non avendo mai avuto problemi, quartiere non molto ben frequentato...
