I highly recommend this hotel. It is my third time here. The location is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is amazing. Most of all, one of the staff members, Marcos Freitas is wonderful, very caring and polite. I was impressed with his service and dedication to all guests. He has a very pleasant personality and creates immediate good rapport with everyone. Thank you for making our stay here so nice, Marcos! We will certainly return.

The hotel is close to the underground, and it has a taxi stop at the door. It is near shops and in a nice area. The restaurant and common facilities were very clean and staff were friendly. The breakfast was good and it had a pleasant atmosphere.
Unfortunately my room (801)was not good and below standard. As I entered for first time it had and awful smell. I had to stay with the window opened for the whole stay and the bathroom door closed because I discovered that the shower tray has not been fitted properly and the smell of raw sewage filters through the plug hole. I also was sharing the bathroom with two cockroaches and the room with few mosquitoes, which spoiled a good night sleep. The reception had no mosquitoes spray and due to the dark furniture it was difficult to spot them. So I won’t come back there sorry!

Convenient location especially from the airport. The area is close to many food places. Metro and buses were walkable to. Hotel was beautiful and clean. We had an early flight, therefore we didn’t opt in for breakfast. I would imagine it would have been a nice meal. The hotel looked very classy.

We came in a day early for a Trafalgar Tour. While the rooms for the tour were fine, the rooms we were booked into were not! Fingernail clippings on the floor, plastic mattress covers (hot and noisy) and AC inadequate. Should have figured it out when the check-in host said moving rooms would be inconvenient but we’d be appreciative to get a tour room!

We were disturbed by the noise of the traffic. Also the second day of our stay the cleaning staff changed the toiles and unfortunately they smelled of dumbness.

Reception - very welcoming and helpful, efficient staff.
Room - for a double - was small.
Hospitality tray - did not contain any milk and when one sachets of coffee [one ordinary and one decaf] were used, there was no replenishment.
Shower - was over the bath type - no handrail or slip-mat.
The plastic seal to the shower was unhygienically dirty
and request to clean same did not result in much improvement..
Room service - was servedi n the bar which was good.
Food was good but presentation poor.
For a hotel that markets itself as up-market, there was too many flaws to deem itself as such

Staff were so very helpful with check-in and check-out. I love that my room had a terrace. Having that door open on a warm summer evening provided a very delicious breeze. Breakfast was very nice, except for coffee. I will definately be staying there again.

Room is very small. Not a lot of surface spaces to put our personal belongings.
The air conditioning is not cooling.
A bit strange that we can see through the bathroom from the bed’s side even tough there’s a hiding « screen ».

The window did not seem to seal properly so we were woken 2 nights in a row with banging and noise starting from maybe 7/8am going on until 11am we were unable to sleep properly at night also due to noise.

The pillows were extremely uncomfortable also.

Reasonable - but wouldn’t stay again

Ok hotel, but probably better options around for the price. Breakfast was decent, but missing a salad offering. Some basic annoyances would stop me staying again: rooms were a bit cramped, as was the bathroom; there is nowhere to hang towels other than above the toilet; there is no soap dish; there are no bedside plugs (travesty!); the bathroom tiles and grouting needs a good clean to remove the black mould. Only real saving grace is the location, right next to parque eduardo vii

Great Location, Horrible Beds

We loved Lisbon, hated this hotel. 1st night we checked in late afternoon & wanted to nap before heading out to dinner. Discovered our bed was in such poor condition it felt more like a waterbed with absolutely no support. We called down to get a new room. However none were available that day so we had to check out the next day, leave our luggage with the staff and check back in after 4pm. The new bed was slightly better but for what’s deemed a luxury hotel they should invest in more basic comforts for their guests. The mirror behind our side table was broken. Went to use the iron and it had a glue like substance on the bottom making it unusable. For the most part the entire hotel looked like it could do with a refresh. The staff was kind but not overly attentive or helpful for that matter. The location was great but there are plenty of other hotels in the area. If you are looking for comfort after a long day walking I’d suggest selecting any other hotel in the area but this one. I’ve travelled extensively and this was top 3 for worst places stayed in 20+ years.

My stay at the Turin Hotel was for three nights, and I was given an upgrade to a bigger room. I’m not sure what my original room was. However, the upgrade was close to the elevators facing the main Avenue in Lisbon. I did hear traffic in the early evening, but it quieted down at night. The elevators did not bother me. My room was a nice size, and it was clean, as was the bathroom. This hotel offered breakfast and a restaurant. The food was, in my opinion, rated four out of five. I would return to this hotel.

On arrival our room had broken loose tiles on the floor. We got move to a smaller room asked again to be moved and the 3room had a cracked sink and minor. By that time we were exhausted so stayed the night in it.
Next day we with the help of hotel.com got moved to room number 4 it was brighter and larger.
All rooms were very clean
Reception Staff on the first evening not so helpful thereafter very helpful.
The hotel in general needs a revamp.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff very good.
We won’t stay again

okay - well located - but that's about it

This is a well located hotel, however, it has a few issues: it is very dated; their is limited air conditioning (it's a seasonally set climate control situation) and the bed has a weird thick protector - which feels water proof but is not comfortable.

The staff are generally friendly and helpful but there's only so much you can do in a hotel that is suffering a bit from wear and tear. The shower had very little pressure and a lot of the jets from the shower head were thick with limescale or had just plain broken off.

When I stayed it was winter, though unseasonably warm, and I asked if the room could be cooled - and was told no it was limited. Thankfully there was an open window. I spent time trying to find an online manual for the thermostat - pointless effort.

I would probably choose more carefully on my next trip to make sure what ever is booked is refundable and has proper air conditioning.

While it is a very nice hotel and has potential to be one of the hottest hotels in Lisbon, there are a lot of things they do which are inconvenient for their customers. I visited the first week of December where highs were about 15/16 degrees, so it was fairly nice though would be a bit cool at night. The heat was blasting and I could not turn on the AC and the only way to cool off was to open the window. Also only one elevator worked so I generally had to walk down the stairs (and once up). Also there were only two outlets in the entire room and none by the bed which was annoying. But besides that, everything else was nice. The staff were friendly, the room and premises was well-taken care of, breakfast was very good. Overall good but there were a few things that were very annoying which could be worked on.

Just unbelievable! The room was hot and the only “solution’ was to open the window onto one of the busiest streets in Lisbon -super noisy!! They have no air conditioning in the winter only heat! I asked for a fan, no. We had a morning flight so my choice was crazy noisy or hot room! I’ve never rated a property at zero before. I asked at checkout about an adjustment to my $200 euro bill and was basically told tough luck.

Pros-great location (within walking distance to many stores and restaurants), taxi rank outside hotel, hotel has lovely interiors and rooms are of a good size

Cons-it is very often the small things that you notice in terms of negatives. Throughout the 5 night stay, various front desk staff struggled to consistently achieve the basics. In spite of requests by myself and other family members, rooms were left with no tissues, no coffees/milks and no room sign to notify that room cleaning was wanted. The staff on the front desk were largely sullen and unfriendly when approached and these problems were flagged. The standard of cleaning in the rooms was passable but nothing more (see comments above)

Awesome hotel

Absolutely beautiful just like I expected it to be. With in 10-15 minutes walk to most of the famous sights in Lisbon, there was a market on the weekend a minute walk from the hotel. Restaurants, cafe and bars are everywhere and this beautiful hotel is located on a safe and beautiful part of town. The staff were so professional and very friendly. I will be back and certainly recommend this place anyone ❤️🙏

My worst Lisbon experience!

My first and last time at this hotel, I am a frequent visitor to Lisbon and thinking that this hotel is in Liberade that it must be good, very wrong!The hotel is outdated, the toilet has a musky smell, and to make it worse, the internet was down for 2 days, they had no customer service or even any type of compensation as I could not do my work for 2 day, just a \" sorry\", not even offer a cup of coffee as a good will gesture. The hotel doesn't even have a concierge desk to help with luggage and they call it a 4 star! Staff was aloof and very unlike the friendliness that I am used to, and to top it up, the housekeeping threw out my water bottle without my permission.
I will not be staying in any Truim hotels again!

Walking into the hotel you are hit with a strong perfume. I didn’t make it through check in without getting a massive headache. We got to our room, well the perfume smell continues but even stronger. I couldn’t breathe and did not get a city view. I went back to the front desk and asked if they had a hypoallergenic room? They said no, I informed them I didn’t get the correct room type, they didn’t offer to correct the room type. Overall a terrible dated hotel with deceiving photos. Only good thing was the kind cleaning staff.

Very shortage of staff, you could feel staff on duty was struggling. I had feel problems in the room which could not be fixed due staff shortage. Only 2 members of Front Desk was able to try to sort out the problems, but was beyond they resources. Rui and Samuel, nobody else to identify.

The staff at this hotel are very accommodating and were pleasant and helpful with every interaction. I would say that housekeeping needs to be a little more focused on the details. We had no soap one day and the room was missed due to a room sign facing the wrong way. Never the less a call to the front desk rectified any problems we encountered. Both bartenders and reception desk personnel were excellent. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

Very disappointed customer

Started badly by trying to give us a room that I had not paid for. We ordered and paid for a superior room and we were given the standard double one.We were told this was the superior room which it was not. We were told this was the only one so we went to the room. I later went down to complain and you then came up with room 619 which was a superior room which we had paid for
I had a shower which had mould on the sealant and then tried to use the hair dryer which did not work.
To top it all there was no mat in the shower to stop anyone slipping and on the second day my wife slipped in the shower and her arm is very swollen and cannot be X-rayed.
On line you said the restaurant is open and was not and not likely to reopen
The only plus was the staff which are excellent as they always have been on several visits to your hotel. On this occasion for the first time I feel disappointed and the wrong information supplied to me

The rooms are very small for 2 persons. Definitely cannot fit 2 persons and 2 suitcases. The beds are terrible. Unfortunately we are stuck for the week. It’s in a good part of the city. Doesn’t even have plug outlets near the bedside. Would never recommend this hotel for a stay of more than 1 night.
