Upon checking in, the front desk representative mentioned twice that I had not booked directly with the hotel and had used Expedia to book my stay. We were assigned a room on the second floor and were horrified by the unpleasant smell upon entering the room. There were multiple large stains on the carpet, and the bathroom floor was unclean and had dark stains on the flooring and sides of toilet. I asked for a new room and was informed it would be an upgrade fee since I booked a normal room through Expedia. However, the upgrade fee was waived after explaining the smell in the first room. We were assigned a room on the third floor that did not contain carpet and resembled the online photos. The sheets did have black marks on them and one of the towels had marks on it as well. We reserved a double queen room for our family of four, and only two towels and washcloths were in located in the bathroom.There was a breakfast buffet that had a waffle maker, but the buffet was unclean and not well maintained throughout the morning (syrup and food on the buffet counter, utensils and flooring). It was not a pleasant experience especially for the price. I would not recommend this property and would not stay here again.

Once we checked in and got to our room we noticed there was dried blood on our sheets. They immediately changed them. Didn’t offer a discount or anything for this issue. We later called down to have housekeeping clean our room as we were there for 3 nights and they said they needs 24 hour notice and couldn’t help us. Horrible customer service. Will not be staying there again.

I will start with what was good; the staff was warm, welcoming and professional. Unfortunately, the room was not well maintained and smelled like mildew. The beds were extremely hard and though they were sleep numbers the remotes did not work. The breakfast that was offered was about an hour late from listed time. The carpet in the rooms felt and looked dirty. Will not return.

Room was very comfortable. There were small blemishes around the room and bathroom but nothing serious, just natural wear and tear. Room was still beautiful with a great view (3rd floor balcony).

Check in experience was as expected and staff was nice. Staff interaction during our stay was pleasant and mostly greeted with a smile.

Check out however was something less than desirable. I came in late the night before check out and asked the night auditor for a late check out the next day. He said I would have to call in the AM. Not ideal but fine. Was woken up at 11:30a by a knock on the door by housekeeping (isn't check out 12noon?). I called the front desk and asked for a late check out and I was immediately told no, then told there was a charge for a late check out, but only then did he ask me what time I needed.

The late check out cost is $40, so not breaking the bank but what time does that get me until? They gave us until 12:30, with no charge but I left the hotel feeling rushed and annoyed.

I was in hospitality for 15 years so I give a lot of grace but this clerk has been in it too long and has forgotten how to put themselves in place of the guest.

The hotel is very cute and close to Levi Stadium which was why we came. Easy to get an uber to the World Cup game. We arrived early and they kept our bags for us while we went to Big Sur. Breakfast was more than enough and the gym was well appointed. Unfortunately the hot tub doesn’t work, too difficult to maintain. The bar is very convenient and the lobby is very welcoming. Would definitely stay there again!

Basically a nice place. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy bed, nice pool area It presents very well on arrival. If you're not expecting "above and beyond" service and amenities, you will be pleased enough. No microwave in the rooms and that was an inconvenience I didn't expect to miss but I did. The breakfast was okay. I got the sense they hire just enough staff to get by so I tried to be patient when service wasn't instantaneous. Staff was always kind and cheerful.

But this is the second time I stayed and the location for my purposes was perfect so I will not deter anyone from staying here unless you are used to a more amenities and service.

We've stayed here twice for last minute trips to Santa Cruz or to great America! The property and rooms are clean. Looks like the property recently went through a renovation.

They offer free breakfast in the morning which is great too!

The rooms carpet was so dirty and stained with various fluids. The bathroom was dirty hair in tub and unfinished walls with repairs in progress. Phone did not work to get ahold of front desk. In addition our bed covers had blood stains had to have them replace and they took too long to replace.

Rooms were generally clean but need some upgrades. Very stained carpet, some moldy grout in the bathroom. Shower water not hot. Very thin walls and windows so traffic noise and noise from neighboring rooms was very loud. Would not recommend, mostly because it’s very noisy.

I didn’t like it. Walking in, it looked nice. But when I got to my room, I realized it clearly needed work. There was chipped paint, holes in the bathroom and the door stopper was old and worn out. The bathroom needs work. The base under the fridge is worn out. I got bit twice by something, I hope it’s only mosquito because I was killing then all night; but we’ll see how the bites swell. The tv was blurry so we just turned it off because we couldn’t find a clear channel. The breakfast was okay. I didn’t see the pool. Requested towels and waited nearly two hours but ended up going down to pick them up myself. Kids were running up and down the halls, and I could hear the neighbors snoring. I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is a slightly weird hotel. The design has a big indoor space in the middle, which would be fine, except that there's no natural light/openings. And some of the rooms are designed so that their window faces this space, which is also odd.

The room was very nice, but the outer areas (front door, garage) felt more rundown and lower-rent than I'd expect at a place that is designated four-star.

The elevator--first day I noticed it was a bit noisy. Then I noticed they had a nicely printed sign in the elevator commenting on this in kind of a jaunty way, and assuring me that it was inspected monthly. Nice. But later that night when I parked underneath, the elevator had a sign outside, apologizing that it was out of order. Sigh, ok. But then I realize I have no easy/obvious way to access the rest of the hotel--like walk back out the garage and around? But then I see a stairway on the far side of the garage. (Now, I have a pretty bad knee and really can't do a lot of extra walking or stairs, so I'm relying on this elevator). I get back in my car, figuring I'll just drive back out and park by the front door. Great idea--except everyone else has done this. The only place to park is the 15 min "guest check-in" area. It was my only solution.

I explain this to the front desk --I'm noticeably limping and walking slowly--and she really doesn't like this idea (it's 11:00 pm), but says, "As long as you move it early in the morning." ;-/ (I did not, and it wasn't a problem, but sheesh)

The breakfast was 7 to 10. We went down at 9:30. No juice, coffee, waffle batter all gone, very limited food which was barely warm. No fruit or even cups to find water.
Went to the front desk and asked if they were going to put more food and drink out. She said she'd ask. Nothing was restocked. Very poor service. The other thing that bothers me was they had cleared dishes away but they were right at the entrance of the breakfast space. I saw wasted food. Sausages. Sweet rolls, waffles etc. Not a nice thing to see while we are searching for food. If it's advertised until 10:00, it should be stocked.
Our room faced into the interior of the hotel. This was supposedly an upgraded room. It was ok. However. The TV didn't work and we had a problem with the toilet. Iafter the toilet plugged for the 3rd time, we asked to change rooms. They did give us a much better room ..balcony and the toilet worked! We didn't even try the breakfast the second morning. We heard it was the same as the first morning. This needs to be fixed. The parking is under the hotel. Safe and secure. Overall it's a nice hotel. It just needs a bit of maintenance and the breakfast needs help!

The room was clean and for my room, I had a king sized bed which was also a sleep number bed. Adjusting the firmness of the bed was nice and I slept really well on it. The breakfast was great. My only gripe was the booking through Expedia meant I had to pay for parking, but other than that, it was an overall positive experience.

I would skip this hotel if you plan to spend any time except sleeping in your room. The TV was fuzzy and only had a few working channels, no option to connect to the Internet or even stream from your phone.

There was no hand soap, we were told to use the face wash bars to wash our hands.

The water pressure was terrible and lukewarm most of the time.

There is no microwave in the room, only a mini fridge that did not get very cold. There is a Keurig though.

Despite the issues it was clean and the staff were all very kind. The housekeepers were thorough and the beds were made and fresh towels put up, they even organized the bathroom when it was a mess after getting ready.

Expensive but decent place to sleep, otherwise not great to spend time there.

Clean room, extremely soft and comfortable bed! I can’t remember the last time I was on a spring mattress that was so soft, it felt like I was on a cloud! I came in late with my partner as we needed a place to stay during our travels and the gentleman downstairs was extraordinarily kind and sweet! He helped us check in and let us know of the complimentary breakfast in the morning which was fantastic! Cannot recommend this place higher! The ambience was amazing and their lobby was truly breathtaking, reminiscent of an old 60’s luxury hotel but with all the modern amenities!! If we’re back in the area we are certain we’ll stay here again, the staff are super friendly and helpful but that bed my goodness I wish I had it at home!!!

The stay was overall just okay. The Tempur-Pedic bed was very comfortable, but the room itself was otherwise underwhelming.

The biggest downside was the staff. The front desk employees were noticeably unfriendly and not very welcoming. When explaining parking, it was presented more as “parking costs this amount or you’ll be towed,” which felt like an odd and off-putting way to communicate that information. They also didn’t provide much information about the hotel’s amenities at check-in, and I later realized there were several things available that I wasn’t aware of during my stay.

The breakfast was disappointing, and my room was not cleaned during my stay. Overall, it was an average experience, but the unfriendly service left the worst impression.

The mini fridge kept making noise every time the cooling unit turned on. So had to wake up in the middle of the night to turn it off completely. The toilet flapper also had a leak, so it "flushed" on it's own every 5 minutes or so.

Very difficult to sleep and the front desk seemed unconcerned when I mentioned everything at checkout.

Wouldn't stay here again, although the Pho restaurant across the street gets 5 stars.
